As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Went down and checked the cache today, and it has indeed gone.
I will replace it soon.

This is one of the cooler multi-caches that I've done, took me a moment to catch on at the first waypoint, after that I did pretty well and climbing the trees was no problem! There was an old couple sitting down for a picnic below tree 3 but they seemed more amused than concerned
Team BAPHA's 8th find for the day. This one was really cool; it was a lot of fun climbing the trees. TFTC. TNLN, SL.
This is our very experience with Geocaching..and alot of was had. LNTN. Conjosh....didn't see a smiley face though?
Find # 1554 @ 11:05am After a previous DNF and after confirming that the cache was back in play, I ambled down and put a smiley face on it. Thanks Robmc for the cache!
First one of a couple hours caching in Willy for me and crochetboy
I'd rate the terrain a 3, last set of co-ords were a tad out according to tomtom, but with some hunting around we had it in hard fairly quickly
left a little surfboard, took nothing

The council have has a bit of a tree massacre again!
The cache suffered a bit, but was left behind.
I have now replaced it.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found the three trees and co-ords easily enough, but couldn't find the cache at gz. Even rang a friend who agreed I was looking in the right place. May have to come back another day.
Thanks to Robmc for the cache.

Found with the owner who provided the safety equipment. As Lady Morris was up there - a muggle couple wandered past with barely any curiosity although they did smile when she asked for a boost.

This is where it's great to have kids to send up the trees. Eventually found it, but it wan't hanging. No luck finding the hanging point. There's signs of recent pruning, so perhaps the hanging point is gone? We left it on the ground where we found it. Box is cracked on base and log a bit damp.
Picked up Ring Tail Tom.

Found during a scout bike ride. I really enjoyed the effort put into this cache. Sorry for the late log.

Thanks Robmc - we had a lot of fun with this. Geocaching is great because it gives adults permission to act like big kids and remember how to play.
Muggles and dogs and children were everywhere enjoying this park. Many many kids were clambering on trees too!
Thoroughly enjoyable.

Cruising through Willy this morning and knocked this one off the list and was a bonus not to break anything at 0930 am .
Thanks Robmc

Yesterday we abandoned our search after being unable to locate tree number two, but today we returned with the cache notes, an apart from scouter 101 having trouble with a couple of the climbs (he did all of them, aren't kids great!) and being unable to find tags that he was standing on, all went smoothly. Even th enumerous muggles around didn't put us off.
Dropped off 'Ring Tail Tom' TB
A great fun cache for the whole family.

sorry for the very late log,had to act stupid drunk monkeys to scare away some muggles so we can get the clues to find the cache TFTC
This one got more difficult with every stage. Not so much because of the increasing terrain rating but because there seemed to be more muggles around with every new tree. And they seemed to move SOOOO slowly!!! I almost expected some of the dogs (or myself) to die of old age before their owners were out of sight.[xx(]
But the cache itself was really good fun Had to drain a bit of water out of the canister but the log book was still dry and safe.

Some rotten scoundrel chipped my tree! How lousy is that?
But we can rebuild, a new tree has been enlisted, fairly close by.
The new clue is there.
Happy climbing

Last week I didn't go back to the description and see if I could find tree 3..
With the co-ordinates now in hand (thanks Rob ) we made it to the tree which I had suspected all along.
I'm not so agile to climb this one, lucky bf is more mountain goat than I.
Found GZ tree easier, foliage is quite sparse and I felt very exposed.
Those HD magnets are tough! Finally signed log at 6pm.

Big Girlie tractors don't cry and Kahu the cautious Kiwi TB's came to visit.

I don't know what type of log this should be.. not a DNF - didn't have a chance to look for it; needs archiving - no, probably can be fixed; needs maintenance - I don't think you can do anything about what happened...
Decided that todays caching trip would be the cleaning up Willy caches by bike.
Started collecting the clues for the Willy Bike Trail which happens to pass by this cache.
I was totally pumped to be climbing trees, haven't climbed a tree in yonks!
Managed my way up the 1st tree, found the co-ordinates, punched it into the gps, and followed the arrow...
This is where it gets bad, and sad...
I walked past the picnic tables to a tree - this isn't big enough to climb.. what pointing 14m away.. oh... woodchips...
There ends my tree climbing adventure.
I think the council have been cleaning up this reserve...
I tried looking around for the plaque, but alas, I could not find it..
Hopefully a new tree can be found and I can try my hand at climbing trees with greater difficulty.

Great idea for a cache, had a ton of fun with this one - although looks like tree no 2 has been chopped and chipped, with a bit of perserverance managed to pick up the trail with the hint for tree no 3!!

Found this one on a very windy cold day. No-one around at least. lLoved the concept of this one and how it was done .

It's been awhile since we did Climb a Tree 1 and while out and about with the Coffee Clan and Spruce Mooses for an afternoon's caching out this side of town we decided on a group assault. Fortunately Mr Coffee grew up in an area where kids always climbed trees and happily climbed the required trees for us. At gz we were a little unsure but having a very close look we were able to spot the cache from the ground and knew which one Mr Coffee was about to climb, a quick wait for a couple of joggers and the cache was soon in hand

Was out with Bushfire and Geewok for some western suburbs caching, and as Geework is a good climber he was the one up the tree all the time. Unfortunately GZ was a bit off with dog droppings, so we made a quick log and departed. TNLN, TFTC.
15.20 Speedy Stamps,Geewok,VKC1SR and Bushfire decided that today we would like to put smiley faces on all caches between Werribee South and the West Gate Bridge. We didn’t quite make it but got very close.
Speedys GPS told us to go S but ours pointed in the opposite direction.
Geewok was up the trees like a monkey and made short work of finding the required info and it was not long before we were logging our twelveth cache for the day.

#9 of 9 finds for the day before heading back to check the cricket score.
Thought of going caching whilst geohusband was playing cricket Grey Reserve. The Empire (although already cleaned up the area ) came along with me.He was very impressed by my agility getting up to GZ. I had the cache in hand in no time. I even surprised myself. Maybe 10 years of gymnastics helped afterall!!!!
Another clever hide Robmc! Am enjoying completing your caches in the area.

A PERFECT cache for the 2 Geokids - they had to work together to get all 4 finds, which was a bonus. Once we finished, they both wanted to go do them all again, which has to be a sign of a good cache.

I think Robmc has a sadistic streak taking me to do this cache! I didn't even get a chance to read the cache description to realise how many trees I had to climb! They just kept on coming... heck - there are tree climbing caches in the ACT I haven't even attempted yet!
At least these were (generally) easy enough to climb. Although when I got to WP3 I had to enlist the assistance of my (newly renamed) WP retrieval tool. But I did make the effort to retrieve the final container myself.
TNLN TFTC and the challenge (I think!)

great fun climbing trees, though it was hard watching my heavily pregnant wife trying to get up the last tree! joke, unfortunately we were unable to find the cache at the final location. Will try again soon!
Was reading through the additional hints and being someone that has lived around here my whole life, i did not actually need to do all the math. Sorry hope i don't offend.

Had a lot of fun with this one, dodging muggles & their dogs, lovers holding hands, & a group of schoolkids wandering through. Timed my climbs well, I think, and found the cache easy enough. Got back to the car, and had to laugh at myself as I couldn't remember the last time I climbed & crawled around a tree just for fun. TFTC Rob TNLNSL
Found at 4.00pm GAFF1 in the company of xambo4u (even though xambo4u actually retrieved the cache). A beautiful day to stroll along this foreshore reserve - a very gentle breeze across the bay made the conditions just perfect. The first clue was not seen at first and the 3rd clue was a bit tricky to get to with inappropriate shoes, but we had fun. Thanks Robmc - these should last I would think!
Muggles, muggles everywhere on such a wonderful sunny day with the slightest breeze. Nothing like climbing a tree to relive your youthand with a bit a a push and managed them. Had no trouble reading the clues when we found them. I have spent many a day in my youth in those waves.
Thanks for the rerun.
Thanks for the rerun.
2 of 5 finds for the day while out biking on the 50km ride as part of the Around the Bay in a Day. We had to climb one of the trees in socks since our bike shoes proved a little too inflexible for tree climbing.
Finally, on my fourth go! The first was stymied by what I took to be a missing wp. The next two were both badly stymied by muggles. Today I was visiting a friend nearby and on getting here the muggles were quite few and the cache was quickly found. Interesting hiding spot but it seems to work just fine. Thanks robmc for the chase.
I had no trouble to start with but came unstuck at one spot and had to enlist some help from a passer buy to be able to get the numbers, he thought I was a bird watcher and left it at that. I thought I was in trouble at GZ but took my time and managed to get the cache one handed. Thanks robmc for the cache.
We found our 30th Robmc cache at 4:35pm as the 7th of 9 on our "Yet Another Driving Practice Afternoon". Rather than rely on old history, we completed all the climbs once more. The old cache was over 1,200 finds ago for us at #793 but it was nice to revisit. As the new GZ, "H" stood watch whilst I ducked in between the many dog walkers enjoying the afternoon sun. I was waiting for the nod to replace the cache when a huge dog fight broke up about 60m away which provided just the opportunity I needed. It was a huge fight and there were people throwing themselves on dogs whilst trying to break them apart. By the time we came out, and walked past all was now calm and people were exchanging phone numbers. I really enjoyed the revisit on this one. It was our 3rd renewed cache revisit for the day. We also left 4 TBs. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
Found by Mary & David at 1600. We enjoyed the previous incarnation three years ago. David's knees outclassed Mary's and he did the climbing, unlike last time when he deferred to a nimbler caughtatwork at the third tree. Spent a lot of time here enjoying the views and the passing ships. A great place. Our thanks yet again to Robmc.
Find # 2299 and 3 rd of the day at 12:47pm. Accompanied by GeoDano, after droping off Wheelchair Acces to her MS group we had a few hours to go caching. I remembered the locations of the last cache (thats unusual for me) so we were able to jetski to the final, I bough Dano along to do the climb but he didnt bring the right shoes so up I went but it wasnt so bad. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Robmc....

Well, I'd done the previous incarnation of this cache - but had (like many others) used the clue rather than climb all the trees to get to the final (although I did find the 1st two wps ok). Assuming that wp3 was still the same, I opted to again use the clue rather than try to climb it because -
1. There were too many muggles about on this warm afternoon to make a monkey of myself
2. I was (again) poorly attired for tree-climbing (in motorbike gear)
3. I was too damn hot, tired and old
Anyway, after a bit of poking about I was able to locate the final cache and even managed to climb the tree and log it - although I was expecting a micro for some reason and got a bit of a surprise at its actual size.

Found this one at 12:45 with Raskal3 and ssmc4. I had done half of its previous incarnation some time ago so I knew what had to be done this time. s did the honours first and I retrieved the stash although I'm not too sure if I was actually a "funky gibbon". More like a lumbering oaf methinks .
Took shark, left butterfly hairclip. Thanks Robmc.

Found this great cache with EuDes & Raskal3 on a beautiful sunny autumn day (after unfortunately getting a DNF at A Watery Transit). We shared the tree-climbing duties and EuDes scrambled up the last tree like a funky gibbon to recover the cache.

More tree climbing. There were heaps of muggles around at the three trees today as there was some speedboat racing on the water and every man and his dog was out watching today. Nevertheless the way the clues are hidden, there is no chance of a muggling.
They were all quite easy to get to except the last one where I needed the pen and didn't take it up with me, so GabGab and I played throwing and catching all the while trying not to fall out of the tree.
The final location was not too hard to find, but retrieving and replacing meant a lot of scratches for silly me who was in shorts and tshirt.
Took eraser, left bracelet.
Thanks for the cache Robmc. It was a morning of enjoyment for GabGab and I coming back to these locations for another scout around.

I found this cache with caughtatwork today. I didn't climb any trees, but I did play a game of trying to throw a pen up to caughtatwork in the last tree. It took so many time before he could catch it. It was fun. caughtatwork found the the last cache too as it was bit too hard for my short legs to get up to get the cache. Thank you Robmc.
Short circuited the first waypoint due to a muggle in residence and I was thankfull to have some younger eyes about because I left my glasses behind but I did do the final climb. Thanks Rob again
I was part of the elite tree climbing squad who tackled this cache after the buzz of deep sea cache retrieval failed to meet our thrill seeking needs. Actually, I neither climbed a tree nor got wet, but I did prove useful for recording coordinates and upsetting stupid trollops on bikes who don't know how to share a pathway. Wasn't she a delight!

Second to find on this one. We took scaling the trees in turns and quickly had the cache in hand. A great reincarnation of a memorable cache. Thanks Robmc for the chance to act like little kids again.
I managed to grab a FTF here and only once left the ground. Having done the old climb a tree series I had a good idea what to expect and the good clue did the rest. TNLN thanks Rob. I later did the cache as intended with a posse of post watery transit cachers as company.
Logged today at 1715 hrs with a group of cachers. Tree climbing is not our forte but we managed to keep up with the others and log our find. We had to contend with plenty of muggles but fortunately they took very little notice.

There was a group of kids at the first tree, but having done the original cache, I was able to get back on track. I found the cache very easily, but had to wait for a couple of dog walkers and a cyclist before I could duck in and up to grab it. Thanks Robmc for another enjoyable cache.
