I was with some previous finders
They had to stare me in the right direction once. Then I was off.
Nice themed log book.

Well we had tried this cache sometime ago when M13 wanted to try some multi caches, we had no idea what we were doing so this one lay dormant for quite awhile. Today was a new day and with alot more GC knowledge now we decided to clear this multi. At WP1 work out the co-ords to WP2 which was found pretty quick as co-ords were bang on the money.
Final co-ords input and it was off to find.
We arrived at the final and I had a pretty good idea where to look once at GZ and sure enough the cache revealed itself.
Now let me tell you something, this is an old cache and has probably seen some pretty horrendous weather blow through here, this cache is in perfect condition, all contents are dry with no sign of any deterioration, thanks for the adventure.

Had another look today but no final to be found. Perhaps the CO could confirm that this is still in place?
Solved with hubby the other day but couldn’t get to final as too many muggles around. Tried again today but mislead (perhaps) by previous log talking about flax? My coordinates took me to a nearby tree. However I searched both places as best as I could and still came up with nothing
Actually got wp1 after poking back a rubbish bag but wp2 took me to a lot of flax and I’m not able to do that for medical reasons so had to leave it.
Thanks for placing this cache! Made it to the GZ late in the afternoon. The ground was a bit boggy since it was raining earlier in the day but the area is really calm and peaceful, great for strolls.
A nice day of Easter weekend caching in the area which wasn't as busy as it would normally would be which in turn made finding the caches much easier.
Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here to find it

Enjoyed strolling around an area of town we don't get to very often. Thanks for a lovely little multi
This one took a few visits. First came around to hunt down the roadside object, then back home for the maths to figure out the WP. Back again to visit WP, I was expecting to find the cache, but after some time just found another reference. Time running out (I had to get to work), so a third visit to find the final. Fair way (excuse the pun, but this is ‘golflands’) off the path this one, but a great hiding spot and log book. Signed and returned. TFTC
Today our mission was to complete the required caches for the next challenge that we are working on. Included the dreaded multi's, and a couple of letter boxes and wherigo's. Route sort of planned and along with Squirrel Nutcase we stopped in Huntly to collect other cachers.
9.50am - Had visited previous without all the info. This time straight onto it. Raining and ground very boggy but we pressed on. Finally able to tick this one off. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and our Huntly friends... We are chasing down a few cache types to complete our current license challenge requirements...
We spent an inordinate amount of time here some weeks ago. We didn't realise that there was pertinent information on the cache page, as we were only using the app at the time. It wasn't until we got home (BoP) that we figured it out...
We were far more prepared today... It took an extensive search to discover the second waypoint clue. The final was a much easier prospect. TFTC.

Finally nabbed this one ! Cool story about 143 ...
Took me two visits to locate 2nd WayPoint ....devious little creature ....Was totally looking in wrong elevation...was so frustrated with this tree I had to PAF !
After that it was plain sailing ...almost ! My phone tried to take me over to the Burswood side of the Inlet ! So it nearly involved swimming !!!!! LOL
Added a tiny heart charm thingy to the swag....

Teamed up with Aiden29 and Merlot58 to find caches in the East. We had no problems with the maths at WP1, but took a little search to find the bison at WP2. Then it was off to the final, which proved no problem at all. Wish we had more time to read some of the comments written on the log. Learned something knew whilst doing this multi - so deserves a fp!
I had no idea of the meaning of 143 but now I know! WP1 was easy but WP2 proved a little harder to find. Then we were off to the final where we made a nice quick find and read some of the comments in the log book, and a nicely themed log book by the way
Out this way with merlot58 and Jag50 today. Made a quick find at WP1, with WP2 proving a little more difficult to find. The final location was quickly found, and we enjoyed reading some of the comments in the log book left by previous finders.
Completed WP2 and have co-ords for final but ran out of time. Hopefully will complete next next weekend
The CO told be that WP 2 was back up and running so had another go once I got back to Auckland. No worries finding WP2 or the final. TFTC
Hi. Checked today. I also confirm that the bison tube is all safe and sound at WP2. Also found the original clue but can't read it.
We had a look at this one today and confirm there is now a bison tube at WP2 in place of the illegible original clue. Confirm this and the final are in place and in good condition.
Found WP2 but is totally illegible. Water or weather has wiped the text completely.
Tftc. Nearly gave up on WP2 but perseverance paid off. Was surprisef to see no sign offs In the book since blindtank44 in December 15. The log book is vry pretty.
What a great multi, we had a lot of fun with this one.
WP1 was quickly located but finding the clue at WP2 proved to be easier said than done. We must have looked everywhere it wasn't and one of us accidentally swallowed a bug in the process before finally spotting it.
It was then off to the final for the cache which turned out to be a place we had walked past many times on our evening strolls and a location we love.
We noticed it hadn't been found for a while and hoped it hadn't been muggled so were pleased to find its hiding spot.
This was very special. We loved the log book and previous comments by other cachers and left one ourselves.
We left as the sun set pleased that we have ended our day with this wonderful cache.

Needed to do a few multis for my licence so thought I'd give this local one a go trying to dodge the rain. Nearly didn't find the coordinates at WP2 but suddenly spotted it before the rain came again. TFTC!
Needed to get some multi's for the Geo Licence challenge I am doing and this one is near where I work so it was out to this in my lunch hour. Excellent cache.
After my work meetings were done for the day I had time to go and find a few caches. Nice one! I don't usually have enough time to get into multis when I'm travelling but I was intrigued by this one so decided to give it a go. Found the information at WP1 quickly enough so headed off to WP2. That took me quite a while to spot. I was certainly relieved when my eyes finally focussed and the cache was in view. Armed with the final coordinates I was off again. Looks like some serious earthworks going on near GZ so was hoping the cache wasn't affected and it was still accessible. Luckily it was and it is still in good condition. TFTC, Biggles.
Another Vamber/KFNZ adventure, this time focused on Multis.
Solved the waypoint and final destination relatively quickly - and final find was quickly secured after a bit of a walk.

Out and about in the area with KiwifruitsNZ for the day, focussing on upping our multi-cache find.
The first waypoint was quickly solved, and didn't take too long to find the second waypoint either. We decided to stroll along to the final, which was soon secured. A lovely idea for a cache, and enjoyed learning the meaning behind the title. We also enjoyed the themed objects inside the final container also. Thanks for the multi!

I knew what I was looking for at the second point but had to get some clues from a previous finder to get it. From there the final cache location was easy...TFTC
After speaking with mike-miss who confirmed I had the correct coordinates and that the next hint might be missing, I have hidden the next clue in a small black bison tube (until the cache owner is able to replace it)
Glad to have finished this one. It is an easy one to do. I was always scared of multi cache's.
When I saw this cache at the start of the year, and learnt the meaning of "143", I started using it with one of my nieces, and we still use it now

Been meaning to try this one for a while. Upon arriving at WP1 I was thinking....FLIP....where is the cache/clue....didn't look at the hint at that stage, then took a short walk and saw something that looked similar to what I was looking for....so turned around and shortly found the clue.
Went to where I think WP2 is, but think I found what it might have been attached to? unsure. Will ask some recent finders to see if I have it right or if I need to go back and have another look.

Out this way today having lunch with family so decided to stop and carry on from where i left off with this one about 6 months ago. Headed over to my calculated WP2 and proceeded to find what we were looking for very quickly which we were very fortunate about as we got lucky! Couldn't read the coords as the ink had faded so contacted a previous finder who confirmed the final coordinates for us. We re-wrote the final coordinates for the next finders who shouldnt have any trouble.
Headed over to the final which was found very easily in the first place checked. Thanks very much for an enjoyable multi

This cache has been on our list for a while. Mum picked up the co-rds for WP2 a few weeks back but we didn't get back to search for it until today. WP2 gave us a bit of grief and as we had already looked at the image gallery we started to doubt our co-ordinates. Finally, hot and bothered Mum sat down to check them one last time..... then out of the corner of her eye she saw something that wasn't quite right - WP2 finally! Then it was a quick trip to GZ and the cache. Hugs for all the family. Love the camo at WP2, first time we have seen that and think it was great

Now we have found this one, we can't really work out why we struggled so much the waypoint. Just glad it has bee found and although its a few days after Valentines Day, it is Mr Geckoh's birthday!

Since we were close to 143 we thought we'd give WP2 another try as the blossoms were gone and bees were not around. Great camouflage really happy to complete this multi. Family hug at GZ for 143. TFTC.
Got to WP2 but was so covered in bees, wasps and spiders nests we were limited in our search. Bit worried in regards that the last the most recent log said the WP needed mending. But think it was just our poor search.
2nd visit to WP1. Too many things to leaf my way through - like a couple of million! A height band would have been nice to limit the leafing of a growing thing.
Finally found it - Mum and 1YO attempted this a while ago; as it turns out Mum was so keen to get this one without the others, that she put in the co-ordinates incorrectly... Wasn't until the rest of the gang was around that she rechecked WP1.
8YO found WP2 (will put in a needs maintenance for this) easily, and Dad found the final (after Mum's GPS battery died). 4YO was most upset he didn't make any find, but swapped a 5c Canadian for a small bread truck.

Found it! I found WP2 easily - just looked and saw something strange... Dad got the final; I was very unhappy with him - he always has his 'spy eyes' on!

Finally got to the final - we celebrated with a kiss at GZ in keeping with the theme of the multi. t4tc
Started such a long time ago - we think 2 years ago. Appears we didn't log a DNF - we were newbies at that time and based on logs at the time weren't surprised we couldn't find wp2 - even after realizing we'd entered the co-ords incorrectly and trying again. It was the first cache page with animation we'd seen and thought that was delightful - but can't get it to show now. When we saw wp2 had been renewed thought we'd revisit. Success without too long a search! (very clever) and the final proved no problem. All very nicely themed and we learned the meaning of 143 - sweet. PITO TFTC and thanks to the maintenance crew, too.
Jippie. Finally can tick this one off my list. WP2 back in please and off we go to the final.
Was in a different spot than I expected.
I wanted to rescue the key for another cacher, but that one was gone. Like the setup of this multi and left a TB. cause this one needed some water haha

Team Welsh asked if I could check on things and so I obliged. Final is exactly where it should be and I have rescued the TB. I couldn't locate the WP but I understand a replacement is being organised.

You gotta love cachers like Lostcourse who look after other people's caches. Due to our location we were unable to check on this cache and release the TB from it's captivity. Lostcourse has confirmed the final is in place (as per his note) and has retrieved the TB. I will arrange for WP2 to be replaced asap.
Went today for this cache, specialy cause I wanted to safe the Travelbug. I had tips from previous cachefinder for WP2.....but a no find...
So I want for the final as I also got tips, but here was the cache gone too
As the cacheowner hasn't been online for half a year and hasnt been active for years I think that archiving is the only option.

Had really good look this time. I'm sure it is no longer there. Kids even climbed the tree but no success. Have been trying for three times now. Even knew exactly what I was looking for.
Please can someone replace the WP.
Please can someone replace the WP.
A note for the next person to find this (if it isnt myself) - please take the TwoFactor trackable out and relocate it to an easier cache! People need this trackable to complete the associated puzzle cache (alternatively, solve the puzzle yourself and pick up the large cache filled with swag that is only a short drive away...)
This cache has been on our "To do list" for so long, WP1 proved no problem, WP2 caused much discussion as to the best and most logical place to hide the required info, almost gave up when those long awaited words were heard "Think I found it, Yes there it is". Loaded into GPS and off to the final. Cache worthy of a favourite and a must do. Dropped off Two Factor Key for the next successful finder of this cache.
Out on another wackyb mission, a nice easy bit of number bashing, a bit of bush bashing and on to the final. WP2 was not where it should be so it was put back in place, the final was a quick find in a nice location. Love the cache 'guardians'
The numbers 143 are well known in these parts and have heard so many recommendations to do it, so today was the day it was coming off the list.
We(Bjarni1 and I as usual haha) headed to the start coordinates and quickly found the numbers needed. We were a litlle apprehensive about the calculations after the log Lostcourse put up but soon was in question of why it was found to be so confusing. I took it as being the calculations on the page were put up after his log was put up?
Off to the gossiped about WP2...
As bjarni1 mentioned, the wp was not in it's set position we think as it was out on the grass waiting to be mowed. All of our wackyb finds so far have largely been based on luck and this time was no different. I was a little disappointed as I'd already psyched myself up for a long intense search. We replaced the wp as we think it was meant to be. Anyone having insane amounts of difficulty finding it is welcome to contact me.
Off to the final to sign the log and out a little note along with it.
Thanks for bringing us to a place would otherwise not have normally come.

My apologies for the LONG! absence from Geocaching. It is with regret that some of our caches have gone, but I hope to be able to review, update, restore, replace those that remain in the coming weeks. I would like to thank all that have helped maintain some of our caches in the true spirit of Geocaching, and extended thanks to those that have offered help in replacing those missing.

Out collecting some caches after work today. Thought I would give this lonely cache a little love! Had done most of the work on this one previously, so it was just a matter of finding the final and signing the log.
Like most previous finders I had no trouble finding WP1. Though it took me a little bit to twig to what was actually going on. And when I finally did catch on, I processed the information WP1 provides multiple times. Each time incorrectly. [B)] Okay, this was starting to drive me crazy. Not to mention that I was bigining to feel a bit dodgy with the amount of time I was spending in the area. A quick e-mail exchange with avoyager confirmed that I wasn't crazy, but my maths needed adjustment (not only that, avoyager, unprompted by me, went to field check the solution! Now that is service!
Back this morning to attempt the infamous WP2. I can't say my confidence was high after the difficulties with WP1, but I was willing to give it a nudge. At GZ my confidence took a further dive when I saw the amount of new growth around GZ. I feared that the WP may of become completely obscured. Still, I am here to find the thing, so lets give it a go. I gently pushed and prodded and carefully examined each aspect of GZ. However, I didn't feel I was making any substantial progress. At this point I decided to stand back in a logical spot and look at GZ with relaxed eyes (much as Andy suggest in a previous note). Got it!
Decided to head for work and save the final for this evening. A nice stroll ended in a straight foward find of the final. Nice camo job. Liberated some bugs on opening the cache. Cheers for another great cache!

Unable to locate this one - WP1 was easily found but WP2 alluded us, note it hadn't been found for awhile. Is it possible the owner could check on it for us please!
Find #43... well, only 100 short
WP1 was easy enough... However the walk to WP2 was a little squelchy
WP2 finally located after leaving nothing unturned as instructed...
Drove to final due to ground conditions being unsuitable for the walk despite the nice weather today...
Found the final cache easily...

We first attempted this multi last year when we discovered WackyB's caches. We managed to get the information from WP1 and work out the location of WP2, but failed to spot anything at WP2. We tried again some months later with the same result despite having a fair idea of what we were looking for. On that occasion we spoke with a neighbour who was curious as to why so many people spent time at this tree. She told us that she had planted the tree in this reserve. After seeing a log for a find ealier this month we decided to return for another go. And this time we did eventually spot something after spending some time searching. Off we went to the final co-ordinates where we had a quick and easy find. The logbook was very nicely in theme. Update note: We revisited the WP's and final with Team Welsh in December 2021. We failed to spot the replacement at WP2 but didn't spend a long time looking here. The final location (if it is still in the same place) is overrun with blackberry.
This one took a lot of looking at WP2, and a 'give-us-a-hint' call to BGA2009 before we could call this one ticked off our list.
A wonderful disguise. TFTC

In our local area and we never knew it was there! Great excitment (finally) at second WP and then on to easy but well hidden final cache. Enjoyed it all and makes us want to do more multi cache's. Thanks
I was a bit apprehensive about this one, especially after reading the logs and, coupled with the fact that I had DNF'd the last 2 WackyB multis (I couldn't find WP1 of either of them!), I expected this to be a mission. In fact it was very straightforward. Yes, it took while at WP2, but after that it was on to an easy final and well hidden cache. Thanks WackyB, I always enjoy your caches, even if I cant always find them!!
Wow! We went around in circles on this one and we must say - very clever disguise!
Well, reading the blurb, it says 'this is a very easy cache located...etc.' The 3 1/2 star difficulty blows this out of the water and finding the first way point was a real trial for me. A chance meeting with Trout-fly gave me an idea so one evening after work, I went out and very quickly located what I had to find. It sat there waiting for the weekend and I made it, finally, at lunch time today.
WP1 was easily the trickiest cache I have come across so far in my short 6-7 week caching career. I had misunderstood the difference between the clue, WP1 and WP2 with the latter being the final. I had been looking for a medium sized sistema container at WP1 which I had assumed was the final. Guess it shows my newbie status eh?
Thanks for the cache though. At last my nemesis has been conquered.

Family and I started this on Sunday. We found the "original" final and spend ages looking for the next WP clue. Found it eventually but GPS had run out of power. Headed back this afternoon on the way home from work to sign the log. TFTC
Yahoo, finally achieved one of WackyB's high difficulty caches. Took two visits for WPT2 but perseverance paid off. Forgot to bring the love heart swap, so had to put in small bread truck. Thought the cache would help with FIFO cache WPT2, it hasnt so far.
No problems really just took into consideration that love grows just like trees!

WE FOUND IT! Goodness me we have tried for yonks, even got asked by a neighbour had we lost a bird or something, that she had seen us there so often!!!!!!!!!! But the amazing thing is "it" was only 200mtres from our home! We walk the dog daily past it. Thought we deserved a badge for persoverence so took one. have tried several times to find, but still haven't found it. wondering if it is still there?? any hints?
Found this the other day, amongst a long list of finds, and nearly forgot if I'd found it or not... until I remembered what the logbook looked like - quite memorable

I have had this one printed out and sitting on my desk at work for several months. I am approaching a complete WackyB cache collection so it had to be done.
I have had a few excuses such as weather and what not but today without anybody from senior management in sight it was time to extend the lunch privelage a bit and get out there. Round trip was 90 minutes. Now that seems long but I'm actualy just blind and spent 45 minutes looking for waypoint 2.
I swallowed the pride and sent out a distress text. With a good clue in hand I found what was looking for literally right in front of my face.
I have uplifted the geogem and will try and get it outside the local circle.
I must say the theme and care that went into everything including the final container contents is worthy of a little praise. Blokes don't get mushy much but having been with the same lady for 16 years and married for most of them I kinda get it.
Well done mate.
I have had a few excuses such as weather and what not but today without anybody from senior management in sight it was time to extend the lunch privelage a bit and get out there. Round trip was 90 minutes. Now that seems long but I'm actualy just blind and spent 45 minutes looking for waypoint 2.

Started to look for WP2 months ago (maybe 6), but when it started to rain I quit.
This morning (14 February) seems like a good day to give it anther try but it was raining. Around 2pm, the sky was pretty clear so I went out. After 30 min looking for WP2 it started to rain again. With a little hint from the cache owner (thanks for that I went off to the final, in the rain.
This one was quickly found.

I’ve been doing this one in stages over a period, just when I get a gap during my lunch breaks. The final has been in my GPS for weeks (maybe even stretching to months)
From the description -- "This is a very easy cache located in a quiet area bordering a golf course." -- only applies to the final, not WP1. WP1 earns all 3.5 stars and a “bit†for difficulty.

TNLNSL – Thanks WackyB for another great cache.

Ha!
Found wp2 in about 5 minutes this time, then lost it again as I looked down to extract the GPSr from the caching bag to change the coordinates. Another minute to find again.
No such problems at the final location.
For a cache about love that sure is an evil hide at wp2.

Well thought this one should be easy to knock off. Got to WP2 and searched for ages. Had to abandon due to spending too much time and nearly lost our daughter in the swamp while Mr & Mrs SWW looking for the next hop route.
We were worried like hell when our daughter disappeared only to find her down the bank about 40m away from where we were looking. Did PAF option for clues but still couldn't crack due to keeping kids in tow (nearly).
Will have to come back with adults only.
Cheers.

Spent a good half hour searching WP2, then spotted the clue.
Didn't feel the love when I drove to the final to find it on the OTHERSIDE of the swamp. Retraced steps for an easy find.
Well done on WP2 Camo.
In: Green Jeep.
Thanks for the hunt.

I got the summons to visit this cache, especially the now "infamous" wp2. One of the rolls of being the only cache "Guru" north of the Bombays see the link for further info - http://geocaching.com.au/search/gurus/nz/ni.gmap
First visit was Saturday, PM. Worked out cords from wp1, yep, all works out, as I could check them to the "official" cords.
Stood an observed 2 trees (shrubs) for 20 minutes. Hmmm....nothing, started to drizzle, still I looked, caching gurus are tough and are not scared off by some rain!
No luck though, and started to feel foolish after boasting it looked like a cake walk! Tucked my tail between my legs and cursed that Mrs Wonder was working today, as she would be sure to spot it, probally within 5 mins!!
Had a "Date" with Greenblat and Kiwileon on Sunday, and tried again. Went straight to WP2 from the car. After 20 mins started having thoughts of prozac and bourbon! Now this was hard, and im a "self appointed" caching guru, should be a cake walk!
In the end, retreated, defeated, but Loved the challange, I will be back, even though this is a "found" cache for me.
At the end of the day, if all cahes where easy, it would become boring.....
Thanks guys.
Will head back next week with Mrs Wonder, that was the major flaw in this weekends attempt!

Found in the company of St Ouens, we are biking some of the eastern caches today and were keen to return to this one now it has been reinstated after the nasty incident.
Mark found the cleverly placed WP2 after about 5 mins, and hadn't checked the clue either. On to the final, and loved the care lavished on the inside of the container! TFTC

Got to GZ for the 2nd waypoint and thought that it should be straightforward but after searching for a while without success I had a look at the hint and logs and realised that this cache has some interesting history and that it was not going to be easy.
Spent about 25 min looking before calling it a day. I never seem to do very well on these tricky camo caches

#947. Downhill from carpark so making a fine show of pedalling panash and general biking bluster. Got lucky on WP2 and managed to live off that success for the remainder of the day.
Found cycling on the wet grass surprisingly hard work after the tarmac but managed to blufff my way through.
Swapped Geocoins - left Welsh dragon.
Yes, much praise for the camouflage and high quality workmanship on the caches / containers. A fine effort. TFTC.

Well, this would be a case of read the logs before you attempt the cache!
We were in area so stopped off for this one, got the coordinates for wpt2 and set off. Once there we immediately realised that it was going to be a long search so checked the logs... it was only then that we realised what we might be in for!
Hmmm... so we thought outside the square... no luck! Went for the grid search method - no luck either...
So at this point as it was beginning to rain and 6 year old son had been asking if we'd found it every 30 seconds, we gave up.
But we will be back on a nicer day and preferably without a small child!

[I'm sorry you were unable to find WP2, We did however find your comments quite inconsiderate that you would think it a waste of your time. We spend a considerable amount of time researching, planning and setting up our cache locations; Indeed 143 was no exception. It took considerably longer than 20 minutes to plan, construct, place WP2 alone. We like to make our caches a little different from the norm when we can, in the hope people would expect something different, challenging and fun from finding them. We had increased the difficulty level previously, but only as an indication to think outside the box. [8)]

The clue for WP2 spells out what to look for, It's in plain view, you can actually spot it from standing without moving anything.
[
The challenging (less friendly??) caches we have completed have been the most fun, rewarding and memorable for us and we hope to return some of that enjoyment to the geocaching community, with our hides.
If you require an additional clue send us a E-mail, we are always more than happy to help

We got to WP1 OK and off to WP2
Spent twenty minutes hunting for a needle in a haystck with no joy.
We decided that our time in Auckland was too valuable to waste on a random hunt, so we went off to find some friendlier caches
Our only DNF of a 31 cache Auckland visit.

We have up the difficulty level a little (seeing as we couldn't even find WP2! )
Will wait for feedback from others as to if the difficulty is ok or if it needs changing.
Andy & Kathy ,
Additional hint below for WP2:

Hidden from house view, Don't leaf without a good search.

Not a good start to the day.
First cache attempt, we didn't even get out of the car, to many muggles. Onto this one, searched for a good 20 minutes for wp2 witout joy. Now I see even the owner had trouble finding his own cache, what chance do we have.
If your going to leave another clue I would strongly suggest editing the page and putting in in the proper place, as it will soon dissapear from view.

hi,
My comment was mostly said in jest, more of a hint as to finding this one (thinking outside the box). I'm the dumb one who couldn't see the wood for the trees. Kathy found it straight away and when you do find it, it's a do'h obvious
I think the main clues are sufficient, the additional clue was to help us assess the difficulty level with the next person to find it, we have certainly done more challenging caches in the past and had to spend longer than 20minutes with some. I know some people are going to find this one within a few minutes.
Better luck next time!
