Couldn't see this one, I was searching at night. However I shone the torch everywhere I could, looked in most every spot from all angles, still no sign.
Heading to places north easterly of Melbourne this afternoon and needed a leg stretch after fighting Thursday afternoon traffic and saw a couple fo drive by caches in Whittlesea. After seeing muggles near the nearby one I headed for this one instead. Parked over the road and crossed the road (busy at this time) to head to GZ. Whilst waiting for the oregon to fire up I used the iPhone to get me close when I spied a likely hide which has the cache hiding within so retrieved it, signed the log (in some whitespace on a page) and replaced, all before the oregon was ready! Thanks to homejay73 for this one. Log is pretty full and could use replacement!
Found @ 16:10 with shogun on a trip to Kinglake. I happened to park in the closest location possible (without going off trail). Shogun stood back and watched me search, which didn't take long.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache homerjay73

Nice easy find on a caching trip around the area. A good day out with good company.
On our caching run through Kinglake/Whittlesea. This one was a walk up for Covert. Nice easy find!
13:05
Approaching from the opposite side of the park, I was able to home in on GZ from a distance without any trouble before entering the fuzzy zone. The little container was in my hands soon after. It's nice to do the occasional uncomplicated homerjay hide.

A quick find as we wanted to get out of the shade and back into the lovely warm sun. No lizards or queens at GZ. TFTC
Found @1146 #1629
Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.
Was able to park quite close to GZ and ahomburg was able to make the quick find, a nice drive by. Not to many people seen today, but this location could be hard during warmer days. TFTC homerjay73 another of yours found today.

Find # 1775
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
This was another fairly quick find close to town, a quiet spot today. I think it is nearly lunchtime
Thanks once again to homerjay73 for the cache.

@ 10:14am - what a beautiful day to be out and about and such a fantastic, but not too tricky find!
Well what a huge day caching, this was number 43 for us for the day, Purpledreamer picked up 47, she grabbed four on the way down we all ready had.
It was now very late in the day as we signed the log on the well hidden cache.
Replaced the container and hit the Frog & Toad home, many thanks for the nice hide.

Found by Team Ladava around 2.45 on our Whittlesea Wander today. A lovely sunny winter's day spoilt only by a chilly breeze.
Well, the better half of Team Ladava came up with the goods for this well hidden cache. That girl's worth marrying (41 years ago)
There is certainly still some evidence of the floods sweeping through the park and it remains very soggy only a few metres from gz.
Our thanks to Homerjay73 for the cache and bringing us to this location.

I miraculously found this one quite quickly despite my GPS not liking the overhead coverage, and the cleverly disguised hide. TFTC
I was heading up overnight to Tocumwal-Barooga for Blacklegends Bush Birthday Bash Event and planned to do some caching on the way up. I came past here when the floods where happening and the area around GZ was completely under water. Today not a drop in sight so after a few minutes of searching I fond the cache, well hidden too. Thanks homerjay73.
Found at 1:40pm with auscachia.
Like other logs have said, the coords went a little crazy, but found it in the end.

Found on our way to family in Melbourne & had some time to grab some caches. A nice little hide which was retrieved between the passing traffic. Many thanks homerjay.
Sats did drop out close to gz so we approached from the other side with more luck to narrow down the search. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Top hide!

Tftc. Great hide in a nice easy location. GZ was soggy due to rain so lucky we brought the 4x4. easy to hide from Muggles
Nice hide, lots of jogging muggles around this one, had to wait around to get this cache. SLTNLN T4TC
Quick easy find with a few funny looks from a passing bike rider. Nice little cache, very well hidden
Found with TrynaFindaCached on a small run over in Whittlesea area. Our GPS took us in the right direction but from there we were blind. we looked in the small places and eventually had the cache in hand. TFTC

10.45 Just the two of us out today trying my new birthday present. Its working well and I think I will keep it. The best thing about country caching is there is no one about to pressure you. We took time out to drive around the affected areas of the dreadful bush fires of some 13 months ago. They have done a wonderful job in the rebuilding, and vegetation has come back so quickly, it is such a lovely area to come to.
This was a quick drive by and our first on to log for the day. Nice little piece of coverup there.

Found by The Empire @ 2pm with pocketrocket&friends (Even though she had already found this cache!)
Find number 8 of 17 in pocketrocket territory today. Luckily, the mud has sort of dried up and the short walk from the car wasn't a total disaster. Thanks for the cache, homerjay73.

I enjoyed the clue on this one, which literally shows you the way. It was gluggy underfoot and we left plenty of imprints so you could readily follow our search pattern! Found with Little Gnome and Dylan 7a. Thank you to 'homerjay73' for the Cache, its nifty hide and location, in a part of Victoria I had never visited before.
Moes must be open now..cause everything looks bigger after a duff!!! TFTC( were from sheblyville)
Stopped by on the way back from raspberry picking - a great cache - signed log book but now it is full TFTC
Found @ 16:20 hrs after a long search as there are numerous spots it could have been in.Thanks homerjay73.
A wet muddy queen is more like it. One Beetle took the sensible approach but the other one [me] came from the other side. Not only did my thongs get stuck in the mud but they also flicked mud all up my back. Rinsed the bulk of the mud off in a nearby drain. A quick but messy find for one of us. Thanks.
Quite a bit of mud still....Quickly found with the first guess, then walked around several others to leave misleading tracks in the mud.....Thanks.
26 November 2010 | 11:14 AM found not only the cache but a lizard! Cool looking one too. What a coincidence. Thanks, love a micro. Trees played with the gps.
Found on this rainy day.
Bit muddy around GZ, but still a nifty little hide.

Out on a night time caching run to clean up the Yan Yean area. The forecast was for 60 - 100mm so I was expecting to get wet tonight. Parked on the side of the road only to find the whole park under water. GZ would have been 30 - 40 cm under water and couldn't get to within 4m of it. The nearby creek was totally over flowing and the foot path under water. Will come back another time.
King Jnr with both geoprinces meters away in the car.
We had had a fun day and was returning from the "In Back to the Beginning - 10 years of Vic caching!" event in Strah Creek. We cameback via Flowerdale and Kinglake, we hadn't come that way since Black Saturday - a pause for reflection as we drove.
Our thanks again to HomerJay.

Last find for the day, and indeed for our holidays...
This cache had a touch of 'needle in a haystack' about it, even with the clue... But eventually spotted it tucked away in its hide.

Cache number two with Rudi C and friends very glad that we set out in the 4WD as it is quite muddy. We were still giddy after our first find for the day and sharp eyes and quick wits found this in no time at all. Back in the car and onto the next cache!
Our Second cache finding, out with Cherub_child and family. brother in law soon had cache in hand and we were on our way TNLN SL
2nd of 11 for the night. Yes, the tree cover does throw the GPSr a little bit. However, after applying a bit of logic and between the heavy "Muggle" traffic driving past, was able to make a pretty easy find.
Found at 4.15pm
Found immediately in the first place I looked,
For this team, that's unusual.
Thanks
