Logs
As mentioned in my log the cache has been muggled and all that remains are two pens and a few bits of plastic.
I had come home from the Murray2Moyne cycling event and was up for a bit of caching so I decided to come and get some caches along the beach. The little shelter at WP1 was nice and quiet and I ended up resting my legs there for a bit longer than expected. Eventually I got up to go to GZ to get the cache. However when I got to this cache, all I found were two pens and some pieces of plastic - probably the remains of a muggled cache.
I'm not sure if this counts as a find but I will log it as such for now.
Needs some urgent maintenance.

Whilst we were at the picnic shelter we met up with some other cachers so went off together to find GZ. Four sets of eyes are better than two! What was found was what appears to be the contents of the cache scattered amongst the bush. Couldn't find a log to sign. But will claim the find!
What seems to be the contents of this cache was scattered around GZ. Needs to be checked and reassembled.
DNF @ 10:30 with LouiseAnn (and mazza-g).
The second last day of LouiseAnn's self imposed multi March challenge and I rejoined her to attempt to complete the plan.
At our first cache of the day, we interrupted another suspected cacher team at GZ. We acted casually to try and suss them out but they moved away before we could make contact. We crossed paths again at WP1 of this cache, our first multi, and teamed up for this one. Good to meet you mazza-g (and co.)
After doing the requisite number crunching and making getting to GZ, we found some bits and pieces of cache contents - but, unfortunately, no cache. With no log to sign, I'm putting it down as a DNF, but will watch with interest.
Thanks anyway Travelwriter, adopted by K0mpass.

I found a couple of pens and what looked to have been some cache treasure, but no cache. I left the bits I found under the only bit of concrete we could find.
Sorry k0mpass, looks like this one has gone.

Found it today while out at the beach escaping this Melbourne heat. As we didn't get out of the water until quite late the search took awhile in the dark. But the cache was found. It is a bit damp though still there and hidden well.
I also picked up a very rusty coin that i found i there. I took it home and soaked it in coke to clean it off. It was an old geocoin which got lost in 2012, found again once in 2013 and never heard of again. Well the numbers were scratched up and hard to read. Though i finally found the right combo and i am about to log it and set it off on its way again.

Quick find. Fun to follow the directions The cache is still very wet and if the last 4 days hasn't dried it out nothing will. It needs the container replaced. TFTC
Very soggy inside, the seal on the container has obviously worn out. Drained the excess water but logs are extremely hard to sign.
As I was on a short lunch break I too cheated and followed the description from the car park and made a quick find. So this should really be counted as a traditional for me! Sorry I didn't have the time to check out the picnic shelter etc. k0mpass to appreciate your effort in the multi?
Had a few problems with our coordinates, so as another cacher did, we followed the instructions which led us straight to the GZ. The cache is severely in need of some TLC, the log is so wet I couldn't write on it. Unfortunately I didn't have any paper, but I think this really needs a new (recycled!) container.
Clues at WP1 need updating but really found this one from detailed description. Didn't need the GPS at all after reading directions.
Still soggy inside but managed to sign logbook.
In need of drying out but was too late for me to do it this evening.

Followed the instructions to find GZ. Got distracted by the wrong tree but the photo helped me to find the right one. Cache contents soggy and sad, could use some CO attention.
In the area with Dunko on a on a planned caching run. Bikes deployed where needed, Walking when appropriate, drive by where possible. An afternoon of caching enjoyment was had by both of us, and a vote of thanks to the cache owners for the effort and placement of the caches. TNLN SL TFTC.
Well hidden, excellent directions. The log is water logged, but other than that enjoyed the walk along the foreshore.

Although WP1 is in need of maintenance ...I sure did enjoy the walk down to WP1. I took a liking to the Rock structure exposed at low tide. It made it very tempting to go out for a swim...... Perhaps next time.
The Cache...
Obviously WP1 needs to be updated. However. I did play around with the numbers and come up with a likely set - My calculations had me a little out BUT in the end I did take the time to read the listing page which eventually saw me at GZ.
The container at GZ was nicely cammoed. However, hidden in a typical caching manner .... this made the task of finding GZ a lot easier.
Log signed, emptied out the container of water etc, etc.
Thx for the hide k0mpass.

Parked near by but found that I had over shot WP1 on approach so took a rather steep short cut to finally arrive at WP1.
Collected the required info while not trying to look to sus as 2 sets of muggles walked in as I was leaving with paper in hand...
Once at GZ it took a minute of two to finally gleam the location and have the cache finally in hand. A fun short multi in a great location. Thanks for bring me here. TFTC K0mpass, left blue marble.

Found at 16.15 on an afternoon caching in Melbourne's Bayside. Despite the fact that the picnic shelter is being renovated, the clues are still easy to obtain. Thankfully there were no muggles walking along the path at GZ today! TNLNSL. TFTC.
A quick find without needing the gz coords. Log a little damp, may need a new bag. Tftc
The first waypoint I found easily and managed to avoid suspicion from muggles walking their woofers in the rain. As the rain got heavier we decided to go home. Came back to find GZ half an hour later but the GPS was getting muddled in the trees. Read the clue and the cache was soon in our hands. TNLN SL TFTC. (I really got to leave Ho Ho Ho somewhere!)

On a caching run on this beautiful sunny and warm winters day in the Aspendale Gardens, Mordialloc and Beaumaris Area.
I parked the car next to St Beads and headed ofer the road towards the Beach and GZ. My GPS was pointing me along a sandy track and then suddenly off the track, so I went back the way I came, and onto the right path on the beach. What a great looking hut and beach. I suppose it was helped by the sun being out and almost hot. Where else would you like to be on a day like today but out geocaching. Headed back to GZ which was along the first track I tried and made the find without being seen. Replaced the cache and was off to the next cache. TNLN.
Thanks to Travelwriter and now K0mpass for the cache and bringing me to this great spot.

This is another cache I did today that's been on my to do list for ages. Parked the cat then headed down to WP1. Quite a few muggles walking by today. Got the numbers and did the calcs - in the bay . . hmmm. Number dislexia again. Redid the calcs and it was off to GZ for a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Pleasant cache - great spot, I've never been on this beach, even though I worked very locally for 16 years! Coordinates are spot on. TFTC
Beautiful location, great views. Did all the sums and found the cache with good co-ords.

Found with ggkof whilst on a caching ride around the southern suburbs. He had done this before so stood back whilst I gathered clues and headed to GZ for an easy find.

Nice walk along the beach on a beautiful day made better with a multi cache! Took our housemate along...to help us better explain our new obsession.
She was very happy to be play mathematican and note taker. She throughly enjoyed and so did we. TFTC (not exactly sure of date we found - just noticed i never logged! woops!)

(I've fallen behind in my logs by a week - eek!)
Found at approx 18:11 in the company of RogWat and coley_babee.
It wasn't too necessary to count all the bits, there is enough information in the cache description to find it without.
We did however do all the counting.
I wonder what the pink dots mean though, more than 10 around inside the structure.
I also don't know if this type of stone was a wisest choice to build it from, its starting to erode. Yikes!
Thanks k0mpass for this cache.

#125 - We have been wanting to do this one for ages, but since Ms.L has been suffering from bronchitis, we had to wait until she was feeling better. It was such a beautiful sunny morning today, so off we went. We had actually never been to this part of the beach. Loved it!!! We found the right coordinates, but then ended up following the written instructions on how to get to the cache. Really enjoyed it a lot!
Took nothing, left a TB.

This was #2 of 6 for the day. We went on the top of the cliff first until we realised that it was on ground level . On the way back, we were on the lookout for the hide, and it turns out we saw it, just didn't take any notice of it. Anyway, got the clues and we were brought back to where we were before. Quick find. I agree with Seegs, there is a bit of moisture and dirt in the cache. SL TFTC
Thank you for this cache. A nice multi that didn't send me off on a wild goose chase due to inattention - bonus. Fourth of four finds today along the coast as the weather changed every five minutes,
After work caching run, enjoyed this nice easy find, perhaps to easy? -) Found at 1700. Took koala, left dino. Cache is holding moisture. Nice area! TFTC

Hi, Great fun and before we worked out the final co ords I thought it was going to be really difficult to retrieve as there were many muggles about sunning themselves like lizards on the sand. However geoson pointed up the embankment and off we went. Found easily, many thanks.

Nice easy puzzle, but just for those following, I think the sea has claimed one of the metal signs on the pier, the post is still there, so if you use a dash of common sence the puzzle still works with a nice find at GZ.

This area was deserted today and unfortunately we approached from the wrong direction. Found all of the clues needed and set off for the GZ. iPhone was slow to update and we walked straight past GZ at first. Backtracked and found the cache easily. Container does not to seal well and the cache was full of water. Thankfully the log book was safe inside a bag. Geo kids dried out the cache while I logged the find. Found with Team Royalty. TNLNSL. our 3rd multicache for the day but our first find! we must be terrible at maths. the GPS had us walking about 200mts past GZ so once agian our co-ordinates calculations were way out! just looking at all the possibilities on our way back found it in the end. there was a lonely little koala here, so we left it a few little treasures to keep it company.

It was blowing a gale, but I went down to beach level to try to get the necessary information. Is one of the signs missing now? In any case I tried both possibilities, but they were both way off, so I must have mucked up somewhere. Thankfully though the description was enough to take me to GZ anyway, so I found it fairly quickly. I signed the dry log book in the newer container that was sitting on top of the old, cracked one.
This was cache # 21 of 42 for the day, in the company of alansee on our Bayside & Mornington Peninsula tour, the cache was found at 13:00. A nice simple Multi in a great area, we are into recycling and pick up many aluminum cans while out caching. We were surprised to find two containers at GZ, but both had water in, the log book was dry but this really needs fixing up, perhaps a good sistema container would do nice here. My thanks to Travelwriter for the cache.
Found this one very easily tonight, cache was somewhat full of water, drained the container but luckily the log book was still very dry in the plastic bag. TNLN/SL TFTC =)
Needs a bit of maintenance.. thankfully someone added another container to keep the new logbook semi-dry. TNLN

Water has gotten into this thru a large crack in the lid. Unfortunately with didn't have anything to rebox it with, but the log book is also soaked. We put it back safely and upside down, so the rain won't get in anymore.
Found this one with the description, the co-ords seemed a little bit off. TNLN. Needs some care, the box is split and with all the heavy rain we've been having it's very waterlogged. We didn't have anything to change it over with, so we put it back, but upside down so the water can't get in. TFTC
