Having just added to the growing list of DNFs here, it appears pretty certain that the cache is gone and that the NM a couple of months back elicited no response from the owner. With the area around GZ becoming increasingly overgrown with lantana and other thorny weeds, along with all the rubbish being dumped there, it's probably not a good idea to continue drawing people down there for no result.
The track down to GZ is increasingly becoming a rubbish tip, with a pile of discarded clothing and strange lengths of rubber tubing just before the cache. A search of all the likely hiding places revealed no trace of the cache.
DNF for today...
Took us about an hour, but definitely spot there area by show photos from cacher..
re-searched deep dig around on GZ, unfortunately no cache there...
scratched on my arm by thorn ...
PTF for hint, right there area... Definitely no cache...

Didnt know that there were acouple of dnfs on this one, Had a quick search and read the logs. Decided to leave it and continue my walk
Took the awesome steep short cut down into GZ - but sadly no bucket at GZ that I could find. I did have fun though. I must have taken a while though as geowife started honking and checking on my health at least I know she cares ha ha
I then read previous log. Bugger. It may be gone? Or maybe I just had a boy look.
A fun adventure today, through yarramalong and cedar brush creek, and looping back through kulnura and jilliby state forest. 30 or so caches and lots of fun in the 4WD. Not a bad effort with 2 kids in the back (3 and 1).

Looks like it may have been muggled. I'm in another country so I can't check it myself. I loved this one too! Send me a message if anyone finds differently or if anyone wants to put a new one in.
We thought that we found the original cache place, but the bucket wasn't there ? The coordinate was right too, but maybe it wasn't our day to grab this one yet or maybe it's been muggled ?
Thanks anyway basscadetz.

Everyone loves a huge Geocache. This one is the biggest I have found to date. Lots of treasure to swap too. Getting to the GZ was harder than it looked on the map. The mess of vines with barbs on them blocked the path at every turn. I even had to crawl at one point. But after 10 min of bush bashing I found the geocache. The listed TB was NOT in the Geocache. Love it, thanks basscadetz.
Cool find. Lots of swaps. Took a few bits and pieces, left a hot wheels, rubbers, bouncy balls, torches etc
Our last day here so picking up a few we have missed. Came further than expected.
As previous finders have noted, take the track about 250m before the cache. Nice walk in.

I parked near to the cache location but it looked as if it was a hundred feet below from where I was. I walked up and down the road to look for an entry but it looked a bit difficult to get down. Headed off to do another cache up the road a bit and had good luck. As I was driving down the hill I saw what I was after. A short walk and cache was discovered. TN L metal australia badge. SL and returned as found. Thanks for an interesting hide. I feel sorry for all the bush bashers.
Found what seems to be the perfect place for it, all clues lead to certain spot but seems to be gone. Maybe owner could check it out?
Found with COG702. It was cool to see all the bits and pieces people have left behind.
Found easily, although it does blend in amongst the garbage that unfortunately litters this trail. Got a lovely greeting from a large family of bell miners. We left a couple TBs because this container was nice and big and dry!
Find #1530 - 3 for today. Found on 12/07/2014 4:55 pm
With only half an hour of light left, thought I'd take the straight line down from the road. Found an impenetrable wall of lantana but managed to find a way around down to the track. It was only a few minutes to locate the cache and do my business. Now to find my way back up in the fading light. Phew! Made it. Thanks for the not so common large cache. TNSLLN

Found 12:59 pm. TFTC. TNLN. Bush bashed from fire trail not much fun, find an easier way out. Came to the nearby Treetops adventure place so was in the neighbourhood.
Biggest find so far!! Thank god for daylight savings. Great little walk to GZ. SL. TNLN. TFTC. Favourite!
After following the path, the easy way to the GZ, GeoWife spotted the bucket. Full of swappable goodies but we didn't bring anything worthy!

What an awesome cache!
We were to lazy to try and find the track.
So we thought why not, and we went off track. Although we got heaps of cuts from the stupid lantana, it made finding it all the more fun! Our off track approach served us well as we came out on to the track right in front of it!
We hadn't had a trade cache in a while, and were glad to find an awesome one!!

Stupid lantana was in our way when we got close to the cache. [8d] and took puffle
Well I thought this would be a quick find, parked by the road and went down to find the huge walls of lantana. I didn't feel too bad about making my way though it, knowing it's a noxious weed. Managed not to get too scratched up. Still took me a while to find this large cache though! Signed log, took the golf ball (ha!) and left some toy stuff for the kids that might come here via the nice path way. Thanks for the cache!
Geowife spotted it. Lovely place. Lots of bird life. Saw a lyre bird on our walk in
Found on a 4wd day with ALCAN4x4.
Some condensation but most contents are dry. Chambos

TFTC - navigated in straight on bearing so probably why the terrain was significantly harder than advertised. We found the track but was pretty overgrown so came out the way we went in. Excellent cache. Advise long trousers though for future cachers. Took TB to further it's adventures.
Great cache this is what caching is all about. As Martin said "this is a man's cache". Went in and out on the bearing and have the scratches to prove it.

0909 GAFF3 #3 of 30 in a day for the MGSc cache (GC2J6AY) requirement - 4/. So a day was put aside from my week holiday and off to Gosford and West Sydney. The embarrassing thing was I tried to find this a few weeks ago (at night) using the clue for "Mega Fun", and wondered what I got myself into, only to realise today that I'd mislabeled a cache on the borrowed GPSr.
So a nice walk on the track I'd taken on the way out last time, and soon had the cache 'in hand'.
Left: blue pen, scissors, Ziploc bag for the nice logbook, and a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Brought through for mileage: Coins - 3Bros, Lighthouses, IconicBridges, B2B, Baa, Neigh Neddy and Oink, Signal 2006, Geocaching Australia 2006, 100 Finds, CITO Tag, Hollandse Klompen (clogs) and Red Racing Ninja #4 TBs, and trackable shirt.

A great day for caching on the 12/12/12. Nice to find a large cache for a change - and in a lovely forest location, too. Left TB. TFTC
2030 - 2130 DNF Had been wanting to get my finds in the Large size up a bit, but no luck tonight. But as I didn't even my laptop / GSAK with me tonight it is no surprise that I took the T3½ way in, only to find a track for the way out. It was trying to spit, so left a few rubbish items in an area that was close to GZ, and saw some interesting things that would be too hard to get out without a machete.
So a GAFF1 DNF
TFTC basscadetz anyway, at least I know the way in now!

We enjoyed this area in 2006 and we are enjoying it again today. Lots of scenic locations and we enjoyed a more intense day than yesterday of caching with Mr Shifterbrains in the navigator seat. We spent the morning doing caches along dirt tracks in the light drizzle and enjoying the different bush locations. We enjoyed the walk to gz and after a bit of searching around the good sized cache was spotted. TNLN
Nice work with the cache thanks to basscadetz.

Easy enough find at night. Might organise an event up here soon, it really needs it. TNLN TFTC!
I seem to be making a habit of arriving at GZ locations the hard way. Another very hard slog through thick bracken and scratchy things. From now on I MUST survey the surrounding area before diving in, as invariably there will be a much easier entry via some sort of track. Having arrived at GZ (with GeoMut having had a ball in the thick undergrowth) the bucket was quickly located. Unfortunately it is currently full of "crappy trinkets" so TNLN.
A bit of rubbish, we cleaned it up a little. Biggest one I've found so far!

4th find with Gribbly for the day - took the hard way in, track out. Container was damp - so its more a Bucket of soggy crud TFTC
Certainly was a bucket o fun. Lots of goodies. TN left some halfpennies. Thanks basscadetz
I was heading to sydney for some caching and decided to call in here first, parked nice and close and made the difficult short walk to this big cache, then made the easier walk back to the car just as the rain began to fall.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found this on a bike ride. Might come back with the kids to the nearby TreeTop Adventure Park - it looked fun.
I suspect the terrain will gradually go up on this cache, the path is gradually getting overgrown

Oh boy did I (Geomum) go in the hard way!! I came down the hill and hit wall after wall of lantana!! I eventually found a way through and found the cache quite easily. Trekked out the easy way! Thanks for a great, if frustrating and tiring, cache!!
Great sized container in a good location. Bashed our way down from the road through a lot of lantana and thorny vines.

Straight down around the lantana under the blackberry over the dead branches and finally after all that bushbashing (which I am not a fan of) we found it. We decided to walk the trail west, unfortunately the trail ran out and decided to go up from here( did I not say I am not a fan of bushbashing lol). We made it out and back to the car and on to the nest one.
Scrambled down mountain slope, dense bush bashing which I kind of enjoy... Except the lantana tried to strangle and trip us up a few times lol. Finally made it to GZ
We parked up the top and spotted a few "buckets" down the slope - but there was no 'fun' in this rubbish. We then struggled through 30m of crap, scrambling up and down the slope through lantana but finally gave up.
walked down from the top----had to skirt around the lantana-----found an obvious growers plot(a well dug patch)took bell left hand made jewellery.
Enjoyed the walk bell birds singing. Shame travel bug not there so took took billiard ball left camel bell from Dubai.
