As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Walked down to this one with a geocaching friend, as I had found this one previously.
I am pretty certain that this one has definetly gone.
The river was well and truely up over the cache, Everything has been moved around but after looking close to where it was and then broadening our search in case it had been washed under a log or something. I do feel that it is completely gone maybe somewhere near the city, It may get logged a long way from home.
The co ordinates would be way off...

with all the rain we have had the river has risen higher than it's been for many years and drowned the cache. Once the water level has dropped I will rescue it
** Coordinates Changed From **
S 37° 43.155 E 145° 46.300
Distance From Old: 60.9 feet or 18.6 meters
The first cache is definately AWOL, even the small trees it was hidden under have been ripped away by the storms, the only thing I could find from the old cache were the two small river rocks which I have re-used in the new hide, quite close to the old hide but hopefully more durable.

We used hints and we suspect that the cache was washed away. Found the 3 tree smashed. We used 3 GPSr and still no luck

Reached the GZ with Team_coxy and Miss BB only to discover that the entire area had been underwater. We searched all over and even used the hint.
Unfortrunately the 3 small tree trunks are now horizontal and there is no cache anywhere to be found.

There seems to have been a lot of water through the area that our GPS indicated as GZ, so we suspect the cache may by much further down stream by now.
gosh that's a pretty spot and the chairs were a godsend, quite a walk from where we were.
sadly tho, we couldn't find it but got a couple of nice photos instead.

I found our 10th Mykaat cache at 4:00pm as the 10th of 16 on our Tour de Warburton XIV in company of Team Rubik. After a lot of walking today, it was nice to hop onto a few easier caches along the Yarra. My cache finding prowess is exagerated. I read Chewinprickles log. ie The hint is horizontal. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
We managed to navigate our way to the cache with relative ease. We parked near a rubbish dump of a house and set dogs barking on both sides of the fence. It was a little like the Righteous Brothers - one of them had a deep bark and the other chipped in for the high parts. It was evident both had lost that loving feeling though, had we been close enough they may have taken a bite.
Rabbitto made the find after using his awesome powers of observation - I may still be there had it not been for him!
A beautiful spot- thanks!

I'm glad you gave instructions on how to find the track, because I don't think we would have found it otherwise.
A nice spot, bit chilly today, but I imaging in summer, it would be very nice.
Chewin explaind the circumatances of the cache, might need a bit of a move.
Thanks for bringing us here, Robmc.

Took us a little while to find this one for two reasons. Firstly the GPS was a bit come and go and secondly the item to which the clue refers to is now horizontal and the cache was underneath. Anyway it's still safely hidden although the contents are a bit damp. May I suggest a rehide a little higher up out of the damp. Other than that the location is superb. A great little spot to have in your backyard as the nearby residents do. BTW the dog on the left, as you walk in, is not too friendly as Robmc will testify.
Thanks indeed mykaat

Found at 1105 hours, The dog barked at me when I pulled up and again when I was leaving. This is such a nice spot down by the river side.

Oh my goodness, I think its about time I loged this casche. Sorry for the delay. Found with Muzza and Alansan. Many thanks for the cache. 12th for the day. Same log as previous as I can' t remember the day. Sorry
Kiwideb, Alan-san and myself loved this area on the river (apart from the mozzies) and I think plans may hatch to come back in warmer weather to try out the swimming hole. With lots of bark around, the seach could have been long and frustrating, but Alan-san came to the rescue within a couple of minutes of beginning our search. Thanks for the cache, and also for showing us this hidden gem.
I'm sure that this spot would get well used in summer. I had some local help to get in there and to narrow the search area otherwise I may have been there a lot longer than I was with the gps being a bit iffy here, but I got there thanks again mykaat.
Found at 12.10pm GAFF3. Went past the house with the "Anti Bulls__t Missile" then down Sir Ians track. No dog on the way down, just the owner playing his guitar on the front lawn. The cache was again tricky to locate as we went around in circles. The cache was finally found in a spot that we had already checked - twice! A nice quite spot for the locals here. Thanks mykaat for showing it to us. On the way out we were sprung by the woofer - just one bark and that was it.
Found by Mary & David at 1245. Met the dog and, as rerported earlier, there was only an initial performance. The furniture was looking a bit muddy today. A lovely tranquil area, and the sound of the water over the stones was quite hypnotic. TNLN, but collected Merry Christmas Cachers geocoin and dropped off Homedg's Aussie on tour Geocoin. Our thanks to mykaat.
The GPS gods weren't being kind to Don55 here yesterday.
He actually picked up the small log featured in the original clue but then put it down and moved away. Teeth gritting stuff as he'd knocked back my offer of "cold, warmer, hot" and I had to sit quietly with Max the cache-dog while he walked right up to GZ and then away a number of times.
He finally had the cache in hand after about 15 minutes.
I've altered the clue to make the find a little easier, the original clue (under a small log, behind rocks) we decided was a bit vague.

Mykaat and Max took a seat and watched the search, very frustrating for us all, gps had me wandering all over the place, and the clue wasn't much help at this early part of the search. Cache found after about 15 mins I was told I almost had it hand but didn't look hard enough. Buried treasure
Post find discussion lead to a better clue will be the trick with this one.

A beautiful area for a cache but pity that the local was so resentful of having us stepping on "his" crown land. Anyway a nice spot along the river to visit. Thanks mykaat.
We're only newbies, couldn't work out where the cache was even using the clue. Very frustrating! Mosquitos everywhere, got a splinter looking under logs - would really appreciate some extra help to make our first expedition a more positive experience. I don't want to give up! Anyone??
An unusual spot that the local with the dog seemed none too impressed to see us disappear down the side of his house. He immediately turned his AC/DC up full blast. We found the little picnic area with its seats and after a short search the clue kicked in and the cache was found. A tranquil spot. Thanks
I checked this spot out a few years ago when I was setting up the Lord of the Rings series and it was great to come back & visit again. The guy in the backyard of the dog was practising his fly fishing casting to the sounds of ACDC blasting on the radio. TNLNTFTC.
This is on of those great little places you'd probably never see if it wasn't for caching. Came in via "Sir Ians lane". The local kids of a few years back have sure done some serious earthmoving in the area thats for sure. After a few minuites searching for the cache I decided to take the clue rather than pull everthing apart. The seats where put to good use wile doing so. As it turned out I had already looked there but not well enough.
I was unaware of the third cache in the area so that will be a good excuse to visit again. Perhaps I should bring one myself as its been a wile....[:i]

I have removed the dead snake from the access walkway, so if you see a snake on the path now, it might not be dead!
FTF at 10:20, this cache was only 2.2k from home and in a place I have been before, the dead snake tail sticking out from a log along the track made me stop in my tracks, but with the ants crawling over it I soon knew it was dead. thanks for the cache.
