Ok yes the camo is still there and.... well.... so is the cache... well sort of it appears to heve been attacked by a yeti, sasquach or maybe a bunyip?
It a seems someone else wanted to play and put the cache IN a tree about 10 mtrs from GZ, but not before destroying the contents.
I will replace asap, until then thanks to all who have found this one.
Regards HomerJay

Cache completely gone. The rubber camouflage is still there but nothing else. Nice park to pull up and have morno's.
This cache is completely gone. The only thing we could find was the rubber camouflage needs either a replace or an archive.
Thanks
Thanks
Like Keeper of Time, we struck out here too. Found the cache camo, and a likely hiding spot right there, but no container. Checked all around the vicinity for similar hiding spots, but came up empty everywhere. Hope it is still there somewhere and that we just couldn't see the wood for the trees today.
DNF for me today. Seeing the last couple of logs meant that I didn't spend an awful lot of time looking. It may be there, it may be gone, a quick check on the health may be warranted.
A great area to visit but could not find the cache after a determined hunt for some time. I will look forward to returning for another look soon.
Cache was again found exposed - the cammo has come away from the lid.
Hidden as best as I could.
Many thanks.

Found at 1.40pm GAFF1. This park must have been a cattle farm just recently judging by the fences and the rough ground.
After working out how to get to the cache the most efficient way, we enjoyed a short walk and found the cache in quite blustery conditions. Thanks homerjay73.

I confess that I wasn't paying attention as I arrived and so am not entirely sure why the cache is so named. The park was deserted which made it much easier to sneak up on GZ, and the cache was easily found because it was a little exposed (I hope I've rectified that). TNLN and thanks for the cache.
My second visit here, surprisingly I missed this one while searching under torchlight some months ago. For some reason I thought I was searching for a micro! No trouble today, I spotted the cache from a distance as it was uncovered. Glad to find a big cache with lots of good swaps.
Thanks,
R - B

Not sure. Looked like a farmers paddock and the gate was locked, but the sign said "Park" so I jumped the fence.
Then in the distance from the cache was a kiddies playground!

Not too far from one I had just completed so had to stop in for this one. TN but left a few toys/trinkets.

Number 9 of 25 finds in our "Epping and beyond" day out. Found at 12.20pm. Got to GZ pretty quickly, but checked the hint, which had us looking in the wrong "direction"! Eventually worked out what he would be doing, and found the cache soon after. Another good one - thanks homerjay. Took Travelin' Coin.
Easy to find the spot but well hidden cache. Soon found after some false starts - and the clue made sense (but only in hindsight for us)
Took: nothing, Left: dwarf figurine

Find this one at 16:00 after a quick walk "across the common". The camo could really do with some TLC I think.
TNLNSL. Unfortunately, I missed seeing the geocoins . D'oh!! Thanks homerjay73.

Got to gz and had a quick squizz - nothing. A more careful and prolonged approach and Acts2YouthGroup had the ah ha! moment and the cache was in hand. Thanks Homejay73. This was my first real attempt at your caches in the area and so far so good.
Third of twenty two cache finds for the day in the company of Alansee, the cache was found at 0940. I enjoyed this area and figured it was once a farm with the cattle yards and rock wall nearby. The coordinates were spot on and we soon had this one found; the camo has come adrift on this one and may need some attention. Thanks homerjay73 for the cache.
A quick find while we were in the area. A bit too cold to do much caching today. TNLN Thanks.
The traditional parking spot was taken although thought about using the alternative access noted earlier and in fact used later in the day. Approached GZ expecting some difficulty but the camo had become detached and the container was in plain view. This will require some repair work. However dropped in the Diabetes Day 2007 GC which had been burning a hole in my pocket, replaced the camo decoratively and moved on. TFTC HJ73
Nice camo again - getting used to this homerjays MO - really useful for the 20 or so of his caches we found today.
12.00pm
Found by Roma and Max.
Nearing GZ it became obvious that perhaps we hadn’t parked in the intended area, however no harm done as, now we are getting familiar with your camo techniques, we made a quick find.
We TNLN & STL.
Thank you again homerjay73 for this hide, and little did we know then but we were going to be close to this spot again later on in the days geo searching!

It was well past 7:30pm by the time we arrived here, so we entered the park in the NW corner. A short walk saw us with the cache in hand.
Thanks for all the caches tonight, Robmc.

Came upon this one after dark so the difficulty level was up a bit. Still we found it easily enough despite the great camo and the rather large roo that was blocking our path. He was also on the wrong side of the fence, ie the road side, so we were hoping he'd stay off the road. Didn't hear any squeel of brakes while we were there though so I assume all's well.
Thanks for the stroll

Found it on my Sunday morning bike ride - had to scale the fence. Awesome camo, no dogs today but the ground was ... ruff!
Found at 1645. Out of all the homerjay hides found so far, this one was probably found the quickest. Interesting styles of hides and camos.

We found our 15th Homerjay73 cache at 6:10pm as the 13th of 17 on our Dry and Dusty Northern Suburbs Afternoon. 7 y.o. "A" made the find almost as soon as we arrived. Thanks for the cache from D,H & A B-A.
Nice hide! Took us a while to find this one but eventually a sharp pair of eyes spotted it.
Took: nothing
Left: koala (the cupboard was a bit bare)

Found at 1700 hrs because we understood the clue perfectly. Took us about 2 minutes to locate. Cache was almost empty, pity we had nothing with us to leave.
Thanks homerjay73.
Thanks homerjay73.
Found 12:10, once again the cache was found very close to where the GPS said it should be, after we had mad a very careful search of the surrounds.
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks homerjay73.

I didn't understand the clue but after a good hunt feathertop found your well hidden cache. Thanks.

Well, it wasn't much of a walk - but my experiences with HJ73 caches for the rest of the day tend to indicate that (like his namesake) I guess he doesn't like to walk too far . Up to this point, I hadn't had much experience with HJ caches and, after searching for 20-25mins, was just about to admit defeat and give up when I finally managed to locate it . If that's your idea of a 1.5 difficulty, I'd hate to see a 3 or 4 .
TNLN
Thanks again Homerjay73

Another good hide from homerjay who continues to impress with his efforts to hide caches in this area. It goes to prove you don't need to have found hundreds of caches to hide well. Very cool wind blowing across here today but it sure beats the heat. Thanks.
FINALLY pocketrocket&friends made their first ever First To Find with this one! Found 21/2/08 at 6.15pm
Living in a local estate that shares its name with this location, I wanted this one!
Intrepid geomum made the find after a little search. Left an igniter switch for an oven (don't ask!!)
Thanks Homerjay73
