On the way home after completing Hinchinbrook called in to find this one. Great location but alas no cache to be found. Needs to be put to archived.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation this in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Signs up in the area saying it is under surveilance due to plant theft. Couldnt see hide nor hair of the cache today. Perhaps the garder got it? Time for a check
On our way back to Cairns called in to have a quick look. We looked and looked but didnt come up with the goods found lots of good hiding spots though. Suspect that this might have been removed as the area is under constant video surveillance.

29/04/10 1.21pm - Out sightseeing in the area, started looking for this one when Council workers turned up to mow the area. Had to abandon the search and try for another nearby (Boulders) and try again on the way back. Searched for another 20minutes on our return to area but couldn't locate. May have been looking in not the right area of the garden. Lovely gardens and waterfall. Maybe next time. TFT hunt.
After driving past this cache several times with my work today was the day for me to do it!!! I found this quite a challenge as my GPSr was leading me a little astray. Had fun and eventually came up with the goods!!!

Found easily using the clue but the co-ords were a little out for me today.I've never noticed this feature before, thanks for bringing me here craigsam.Took nothing left a coin.
Found this today...its nice and dry and safe. It was our first find on our own so very exciting for myself and the kids!!! Signed the Log.
Nice wee spot here to relax a few moments and liked the info centre nearby too , be wary of the new security cam tho folks.
Found at 10.20am GAFF3. With the surveilance camera operating to ward off muggles from stealing plants, we quickly went in and signed the log with a bandana over our faces!
Thanks craigsam.
Thanks craigsam.

Q&EZ find today. REmoved a wet tissue and some rusty/moldy bits of junk just to clean up the cache. L-Celtic good luck charm TFTFun
Called in last night but did locate this well hidden cache and was back to check out the boulders this afternoon so a second search for this cache was the order of the day. No problems today as the cache was soon located but as others have stated this cache needs a bit of TLC and is full to the brim with swaps, junk and a very wet log book. The GZ area could take a larger container without any problems. Bushfire replaced the logbook and placed it in a ziplock bag and removed the very wet soggy log but it still requires either a larger container or remove some of the crap that is in there. I loved the location and it deserves a cache so it just needs as I have said a bit of TLC. Dropped in a couple of travelers but will remove them to continue their journeys. Thanks craigsam for placing this cache.
Spending a couple of nights in a near by camping area and found this while looking around this lovely little town.
Signed the log which was found to be soaking wet, but the biro managed to work.

12.40 - Nice little garden with waterfall ... and a cache of course. Log is soaking wet and needs maintenance. T4TC.
Wow, went with GeoKids for three days of camping and Geocaching and forgot to take the Garmin eTrex. Dohh!! Luckily, had the TomTom and iPhone so this posting and photo is courtesy of the iPhone GeoCache application. Found it. The log was very soaked and regretfully, I didn't have a replacement. Hopefully a future GeoCacher a bit more prepared than me will replace it with a dry log. I was still able to sign the log. Attached a photo of GeoKids with cache. TNLN. T4TC. Bamster

The log book is in need of some TLC. It is extremely wet, smelly, soggy and boardering on papermache. I didn't have any spares so I sat it in the sun on the front of the car for a while. It is going to take a lot more time to get it dry again.

Found by Bumblebee on her return from a solo trip to Cairns. The cache was found easily. The logbook really needs replacing but didn't have the caching backpack on me to be able to do so. Left a small note of visit and a squishy gecko. Took the blue eraser head.

Quick find, though the "area under video-surveillance" sign put us off a bit... Seems like somebody had been stealing some plants.
And yes, wet and soggy and moldy contents!
TFTC
I hope the owner reads this and dries out the cache, otherwise the next finder should post a "needs maintenance" notice

Over here from Perth on a geocaching/sightseeing holiday after visiting family in Brisbane. A beautiful little waterfall and garden. Found the cache quickly and signed the log. The inside of the container is quite moist and the logbook is damp and getting mouldy. Thanks craigsam for showing us this little place. It would have been so easy to drive past and not even notice it.
This was our 2nd time trying to find the cache.
Found plenty of huge cane toads in every hole.

Weren't too keen on delving too deep into some of the holes present it case we got bitten by something. Nice little area.
Good night caching near our restarea for the night. Didn't steal any plants - the sign scared us
Cache was very well hidden so it took us a while.

What a lovely little waterfall. Didn't even know it existed and have driven to Cairns for a while now. Found the cache after a while as the GPS was playing silly buggers (car Garmin Nuvi). TNLN SL. TFTC.
Found it this time around. It was at the place that we had first looked, but so much easier to retrieve now that it has been repositioned. TFTC.
On our way north we saw this nice little waterfall. A short stop to look careful to it.

Wonderful little oasis to break the trip up north. Easy find. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache.
Our second trip to this site and and thanks to "Spinmeout" this time we were able to locate the cache. Found with Gazza572003 at 16:00 on our way home from Cairns. TNLN TFTC.
Found with bubblensqueak whilst returning to Townsville from Cairns after a great weekend of diving & Geocaching. Tried to find this one once before but with no luck but this time it was a walk in the park. TNLN TFTC.

Lovely spot to break our journey south. Hope the security cameras caught us doing this one.
This is cache #2 for today (9 more to go), the camels are doing a road trip from Cairns to Innisfail to clear up all the back-road caches along the way. Mrs Camel wants one of these in her backyard!! Took the purple pineapple, left a penny.
It is there!Discovered at 2:30pm.Number 8 for today.
Found this one using a glove and reaching a long way into a place I would not normally put my hand. I figured the Cache had fallen into a hole and I was right. Got it out while removing much skin from my arm,(the sacrifices you make) I have placed it very close to the original spot but in a place where it will not disappear. For those who have searched before, go back and have another look, it should be easy to find now.

Searched as best we could in the rain but without wanting to destroy the garden decided to abandon our search for the day maybe after someone else finds it again we might give it another shot.
We had no muggles around.
Two gps's with 3 and 4m accuracy and six people looking for this one and all came up blank.
Looked in all the obvious hides but felt that any other spots would require walking on the gardens so decided to abandon the search.
Will keep an eye on this one and hopefully be successfully in the future.

It was dark when we arrived at this cache. We were only there a short time - torches in hand - and some locals drove by yelling at us to "Get the F_____ out", so we decided due to the fact that there is a problem with plants being stolen from the really beautiful gardens, we best leave.
Conclusion - best not to go there after dark.

Had parked at this one when looking up the info on The Boulders Gorge, didn't realise it was next on the list. Nearly gave up on this one, but came good in the end. took chicken and Left hi-lighter and red shell.
Looked in what seemed to be the obvious places. We didn't want to walk on the garden though so didn't explore everywhere. I tried reaching my hand down the little caves, but didn't do it thoroughly in case of what might be lurking there. Next time we might come with gloves. I have never noticed this beautifully set up little garden area. Thanks for the excuse to stop.
The GZ is located in a really unexpectedly pretty spot. Unfortunately even though the muggle cameras must have some curious footage of our attempts to find this one somehow we missed it despite rummaging in all the obvious spots. Our first DNF on our way to Port Douglas for a quick holiday.
Congratulations!
It is a stunning location and so beautifully arranged with all the different plants embedding the tiny waterfall. Another surprisingly nice place being led to by Geocaching! After more than half an hour I was ready to give up. But then I tried once more - and succeeded. It is not easy at all, I must admit. But today stealth was only required due to constant video surveillance, no muggles around apart from that.
Took nothing
