We have decided to archive this listing and re-create it as a multi cache in order to prevent re-muggling.
Look for the new one shortly!

After being notified bu other cachers that they were unable to find this cache I went out and checked myself and it is definatley gone!
Darn muggles strike again!

On a speed geocaching expedition through these parts - sadly no cigar! (However I did find three empty beer cans at GZ) Cheers, Rav 4 Raiders
We looked for ages and even phoned a friend to confirm we were in the right area. Despite being virtually 'talked onto' the spot, it eluded us .
It was a great area and very interesting though. I just don't understand why there aren't more caches around the interesting, historical parts of Kadina instead of ones stuck in trees and drains??

Lived in the area for years and never been out to this mine area at least now I have TFTC.
Wow, impressive modern art I thought. Wrong. Amazing location. Thanks for an excellent cache guys.
didn't know this was here, I was thankfull that this didn't take to long to find because there is so many spots it could be, looks like it could be a prime snake spot in summer
A short walk in an interesting area. Watch out for the gases coming out of the water near the main ruin. A bit stinky and probably not good for you. TNLNSL
100 years local experience between my sister and I but neither of us think we have ever been here until today. We have been very close before but not exactly here. Followed the roads and walked through for a bout 100 metres. Glad we came in day light. Left a bear and took nothing. Thanks.
Found the cache at 4.50pm. Interest about this building... No swap. Thanks DeltaEcho for organising the cache and hunt.
Like the few that came before us, we also found an alternative route in. Noticed that it was a new log book, but didn't realise that it was because of a muggle attack. A couple of those young enquiring minds (that Winterdragon refered to) were wandering around. Not sure what they were doing, but they stopped when they saw us.
Thanks for bring us to to an interesting area.
Thanks for bring us to to an interesting area.
We drove around this complex and couldn't find the car park so we made our own tracks into there. It might pay to add some coordinates to help non locals where to park the car
This shouldn't be more than a 2 star terrain and not a safe one to do after dark
TNLNSL
Thanks Delta Echo

Well we found an interesting approach. At GZ all was not well but I will leave that to Winterdragon to explain.
After some creative navigation we found an alternative path from which to approach the cache. As Parrothead was implying, it looks like the cache has been muggled - we found the container in the open, with the geocache sticker and a few swaps nearby. However, most of the contents seemed to present except for the logbook, so I trekked back to the car for a replacement while Parrothead found a suitable hiding spot. It's back in order for now, but it looks like the kind of area that's going to be well explored by young enquiring minds, so the location may need some adjustment.
TNLN - Thanks DeltaEcho!

Just a chance find! Didnt even know this existed! This is wonderful now signed up and ready for the challenge. Next door neighbour Connor found cache, made swap, left Australian penny took pewter statue Easter Saturday afternoon and Lauren took screwdriver and left rubber.

An easy find, luckily, on an extremely hot day. We decided we need to go back there on a more pleasant day to have a good look around. Thanks Delta Echo
We are familiar with this area. we have a swag of waypoints we grabbed ages ago to set up a multicache. But that was before. Today we revisited this historical site and quickly had the cache in hand. I'm sure if the fencing was fixed up this spot would certainly be a no-go area. No swaps. Thanks DeltaEcho.
found with Gum-Nut after school. Intersting spot that we have never visited before (shame on us....). Enjoyed a brief look around afterwards - intrigued by (?) underground spring about 70ms north of cache - bubbling with aroma of rotten egg gas! Are we linked to Rotaurua?!
Took sticky hand. Left pewter statuette. The Narrow Gate Geocpin called home for a visit but is moving on! Garfield TB too. Took Tigger TB.
Thanks again Delta Echo

There was a hole in the middle of the ground
The prettiest hole that you ever did see.
Well, the hole in the ground
And the brown grass grew all around and around
And the brown grass grew all around.......

Clear skies were blue all around all around.....

This is our first cache hunting experience! Interesting area; a real heritage site that should have more preservation focus and information boards. Fairly easy find. Took Flying Spaghetti Monster Geocoin. Left smiley-face stressball.
Rocky Glen Grommets made a quick 100km dash to retrieve this - keen to record a First To Find - Grom Mum and Grom 2 were excited to achieve this! We took the Travel Bug and Hitchhiker and left in its spot a TIGER Travel Bug and a Spaghetti Monster GeoCoin which we picked up near Port Augusta yesterday! We hope the 2/3 class have fun tracking their TB and also the Tiger and Spaghetti Monster!
