Wow did I feel out in the open for the neighbourhood to watch. I didn't feel comfortable making an exhaustive search here.
After viewing the photos I know why I didn't find it- the power pole has just been dug up & replaced. Very recently disturbed dirt at its base. ??
Quick find while driving from Geelong to Melbourne. TFTC

Treated this as a drive by. Felt on show however there were no muggles to be seen so signed the log and drove off wondering about the name.

This is one of those ones that I can't believe are still around. The possible muggle factor is huge but maybe they just don't care. A quick easy find, unbelievable !! TFTC.
Found whilst on the way to collect a cache or two around the area!!
Nice easy find and made a quick grab, sign & was on my way!
Thanks DrWevil for bringing me here!

Our map is up to date on this one, surprisingly, as it is wrong plenty of other times! Tftc.
Easy find since spider webs dont bother me. Found and logged, then on to the next
Have to agree with you here, I approached the crossroad that my car sat nav was showing. If I believed it, I would have parked in someone's loungeroom! Anyway, parked right at GZ, grabbed the cache quickly and returned. Thanks to DrWevil for this one and the idea for the series.
Interesting these little mapping errors, signed the log and outta there! T4TC.
2nd find of the day, and 3022nd total find at 10:54:00 AM.
We've tried this cache before. Last time we encountered a bunch of feral bogans on the street nearby - so we gave it a miss. This time the street was deserted, and it was a nice quick find.

At 16.00h(EDST), I tried to drive directly to this cache, but a house got in my way. TNLNSL TFTC - Unka Dave.
A very easy find whilst on the way back to Melbourne from Geelong. We were sat in the Road House on the main road when we saw this one on the device 200m away. T4TC
A quick find as we make our way home after a day on the Bellarine. TFTC

Stopped off to do this one quickly while on my way down to Kardinia Park to watch the Mighty Cats enjoy another win. A nice easy find.

Found at 1.25pm - Our seventh for the day on the way to an evening in Clifton Springs visiting friends. We had detoured here for jaffles at the nearby Roadhouse so this was too close not to pay a visit to. A quick easy find TFTC
4131. [font=Book Antiqua][green]Was a bit wary of approaching this one given[green] that it's completely surrounded by possibly prying eyes. However I brushed those aside, swooped and then made off to log. Returned just as quickly and then away to the next cache.

One of 46 finds for the night while out with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) for a night cache run down to Geelong. This was one of those ultimate drivebys where we stopped, Marshy lept out of the car and had the cache found and signed even before I had time to turn the ignition off. TFTC.
One of 46 finds for the night with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671) on our Melbourne to Geelong night cache run. Nice quick one. Drive by. I have a few areas up my way like this. Might have to put a few in and continue the series. Will let you know.
Didn't know if I could get this as people were very close by but pulled up right next to it made like I was getting something out the car grabbed it signed it placed it back without them turning there heads. TFTC
Easy find after our weekend shopping today. Hope the lawn-mowing muggles did not get too suspicious about us.
As the log was choc-a-bloc full of entries, we added another log sheet.

GoogleMaps had the right info, so I'm happy enough with the mapping of the area. I couldn't spot anything in the cache about a GCA cache nearby, I'll have to check their website to see what the fuss is about. I used space on the information side of the logbook, so it's getting to the stage where people will just sign wherever there is spare space. Like I did.
nice find but needs new paper, filled the last spot!

Found with Biggles Bear on our way to a surprise BBQ for Maccamob's 10,000+ cache celebration. Although at the time of the find, both my Garmin and Tom Tom GPSs had the correct mapping in this area, I certainly recall having seen other anomolies in my travels. Thanks for the cache.
Might be time to replace the log, when we found it, there was only 1 space left!
Nice easy one for me, it's right across the road from my Fathers house!
Don't stress about the locals either, they know it's there and what it's all about.

Seventh of thirty finds for the day on our try-and-find-as-many-multi-caches during our G-Town visit.
Wow! I think the person that last replaced this cache, must've been a child, it was a long long way down!
We found it a little odd to be searching here in suburbia, lucky its a rather quiet street.
Thanks DrWevil for placing this cache.

first for the day with picking up a few caches around town nice easy quick find
Thanks for this cache - hiding location was new to me, but not too difficult to find (micros often give me trouble) and it filled in a gap in my day very nicely. I quite like the idea of these caches in 'normal places' - a bit of a change.
Find #5 of 27 on our day in Geelong. Easy find, thought we could see it as we parked alongside GZ, but it was something else. But a short search quickly uncovered the well-hidden little container. We felt a little suspicious in front of all of the nearby windows, so I hope the neighbours are friendly around here. TNLN. Cheers!
Accompanied with Crank1, On the way to Geelong for the day. SL. Thanks DrWevil

This was a local walk for us and a great introduction to GeoBoy. Luckily we didn't encounter Mr Black Spider ;p

We parked 1 meter away from the cache which was just as well as there were people in the front yards of 2 nearby houses.
Grabbed and replaced while looking for stuff in the boot.

fun and easy quick one - though at night a lot of creepy spiders are out to play.. a big black spider gave us a fright but it was all good.
This was the third cache of 43 for the day, on our tour of Geelong and the Surf Coast. No trouble on this one, I guess you get used to these little discrepancies on most Sat Navs. My thanks to DrWevil for the cache.
Found it 5/8/2009 Now DrWevil - this was an amazing anomaly! Almost as good as the TomTom having me driving around in the ocean when I was actually on perfectly good land further up the coast 18 months or so ago. Thanks for showing me this
Found this cache today while visiting Geelong.
Thank you very much for showing this place
OSM couldn't find it, my TOPO could.

It's nice to be prepared for these little navigational quirks but, in this case, my TomTom had the right info and was able to get me to GZ with no problems at all (it does have 2009 maps installed though). It may be the case that it's a "deliberate" mistake - as the map producers do incorporate small errors at times so that they can pick up illegal copyright infringements i.e. if people use their maps to produce their own, they can check for these "errors" to see if they were copied. I learned this via the OpenStreetMap Project.
Thanks Dr Wevil - a neat hide.

We tried this on the way into Geelong earlier in the day, but everyone was out in the front yard, but on the way home in the early evening the place was empty. Thanks DrWevil for the cache.

Bit of a drive down here from the last cache. An interesting spot. More than once I've come unstuck with the car GPS. Usually if it says to take a trail you're in trouble.
