An our return walk from Cats Whiskers we popped in here to find this cache. Thanks to the hint we found it easily. Thank you.
Came here with Baristayan on Tuesday morning for a stroll around the Mugga reserve, and she brought me here to a cache she found last week.
After telling me I’d walked past it several times I finally clapped eyes upon the crafty little hide. Thanks!

Lovely hide!

I added a empty log on a ziploc, so this cache should have longer life spam

Almost immediately found. Log is looking very well loved, but was able to get my signature in somewhere. Clue was much appreciated!

This was quite a simple find - it was on the ground! Clearly this was not as intended, and further investigation revealed another element. The log sheet is fragile and resembling a primary school project of recreating a treasure map, but still quite usable.
Considering the hint and the parts on hand, I re-assembled it as best I could imagine it was supposed to be.

After a jab nearby it was Mt Mugga for todays exercise. I have never been to this west side of the reserve. It is beautiful though and deserted. Plus some old caches for me to find.
Quick find on my way back.
Thank you Tealby for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Out and about on a fresh minus 2 degree morning, the area was calm with only the crackle of frozen grass underfoot.
A nice easy find once in the zone. Log sheet signed and replaced.
Thanks Tealby for this cache placement.

Some caching on Mugga today.
Nice quick find here. Wanted to get out of there quick as there was a lot of suspicious roos there just staring at me. Creepy. Cache was found quick, nice container! Signed and replaced.

I think perhaps we do, but we needed a letterbox for leap day so this cache was very nicely on the way. I think I now have Mugga cleared out, so now expect another new one up there in the next few days.
Cache in a good spot and nicely done!

February 29th and a big day for many cachers it seems to fill that elusive blank spot on the calendar. For me this was my first opportunity since starting so was keen to make a good day of it and find as many of the different types as possible. The Project GC badges offered a good incentive to make the finds also.
With GreyHams we managed to find a good amount of the needed caches. A letterbox was needed and the one nearby this was the best choice. A good choice though as there was a nice pocket of caches in here I had been wanting to get to for a while.
A lot hotter in the day by the time we got here but sweated it out onwards and upwards and this was a nice cache along the way. Not the first place I looked or as expected but nicely placed!
Thanks for the cache Tealby.

With the national parks still closed, I've taken the opportunity to explore another corner of the city's hills.
Thanks for the cache!

My geowife went out to find this one after her class, she enjoy walking along there too many Kangaroos but nearly lost on the way back from the start but she manage to get back safe, Found and placed back where it belong.. TFTC Tealby
I almost missed it, but my son had another look and realised it wasn’t what it first appeared. Good one!
Tftc. Found laying on the ground next to the tree. I’ve signed the log and put it back where I think it belongs.
A quick find here, the title of the cache gave me a slight hint and when I arrived I spotted the camo almost immediately. Sounds like the inner container and the base have been missing for 2 years now, but amazingly the scrap piece of paper wasn't wet so I could still sign it.
Will definitely need a maintenance however!
Will definitely need a maintenance however!
Noticed this hasn't been flagged for maintenance despite the logs suggesting it has been this way for a while, the container has no base or inner container and the log is currently a scrap piece of paper. Will need a new log as it is almost full, as well as something to protect from the weather. Thanks!
Didn't find it odd enough at a first glance. Then looked again and it all made sense! TFTC
After dropping visa application and passport to Vietnam Embassy (hoping to add a couple new country souvenirs to my collection in January) I decided I needed some caching therapy... So... What is closest?
Not this one - lol - but I decided to come for one or 2 more, and this was my 3rd find around here (next nearest, to the next nearest - lol)
TFTC - I was about 20m from GZ when I heard a rustle in the logs nearby... glanced over there to see if i could see a lizard or something and out ran a big red fox
I then got told off by some birds near GZ... Found the cache in the first place I looked, the second time I looked there - first time was a quick look, which turned out to have been on the exact wrong angle... spotted it instantly once I could actually see it - lol

A quick find while walking on a beautiful afternoon. Cache base is missing and no plastic bag. Only a scrap of paper inside. Tftc
Nice stroll mid afternoon and had enough ink in the pen to just last one last sign .
Very dry up here at present .
Many thanks for the bush wander and to Tealby for the hide.

I was in the area getting some exercise and a few caches. This is another older cache than most. TFTC Tealby.
Found on a stunning winters day walk with the geo-Lagotto and a muggle friend. Easy find. Cache in good condition

I was in Canberra over the long weekend and headed out this afternoon to find a few caches around Mount Mugga Mugga Nature Reserve. Parked the car at the start of a track and then headed off. After taking a few wrong turns I finally got my bearings.
As I approached gz here I spotted the hiding place straight away. Found the outer camo but it was upside down and the contents gone. I replaced with some paper and moved the cache a few cm so that it would be better protected from the elements. Might be worth a co check. TFTC

Youban and I were in the area and well, I was expecting something more than a piece of paper. It is holding up though, just. Tftc!!!
Dty73 wondered how this managed to stay dry & so do we. Got the log signed and enjoyed the breeze that kept us cool. Kutgw
After finishing two larger series today, there was still time to do some extra caches and that means free styling. Grabbing everything interesting on my way! Meanwhile dark which made for some very interesting caching here!

Geowife and geokid 2 and 3 at a birthday party over the hill, so The Matetrix and I decided a few caches this side of the hill were up for grabs. A great afternoon's hike. Log is still damp. TNLNSL TFTC

Placed cache back in its intended hidey hole. Will need to go back again as the inner container has gone walkabout.
Nice easy find w a very happy geopup while on a trip to do errands. I drive passed this area so often so it was nice to have a wonder. We had planned to do a few in the area but with threatening clouds and spots starting we turned tail, literately and figuratively:) everything was pretty dry out here though so rain will be most welcomed I am sure.
Cache was found out in the open but thankfully dry so a well timed find given the impending drops. So replaced at coordinates. Tftc

Another one done. Woo Hoo! I love the challenge of the geocache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world-wide game of hide and seek. I love it! I also enjoy caching with my family, and meeting fellow cachers. It really is a small world when I read over cache logs. **Thanks go to Tealby** for placing this cache and maintaining it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and much appreciated.
I enjoyed finding this one at 12:14:56 PM.
TFTC! Cheers. *Jump Pilot*

There is no base to the cache container, which means the paper log will soak up water as soon as it rains. Log is already damp after last nights rain.
Otherwise... cache is still OK to be found.

As per my log, I replaced the cache with a new log, but I cannot be sure it is replaced correctly. CO should check.

I've been geo-slack of late. Just a few events and the odd find here and there. The prevailing hot conditions make caching a sweaty & unpleasant task at times. But today I got out for a few hours and headed to Mt Mugga Mugga. Conditions weren't too bad, hitting about 30C, but it was still sweaty out there. I didn't see any snakes today and I had plenty of opportunity.
I found the container on the ground, empty. No sign of the log. I added a new, waterproof logsheet, but this too will be temporary.

#1225. On my way down from the Cat's Whiskers letterbox cache I set aim for this traditional cache by the same CO. The hide is not so traditional, though. I was just about to make an acrobatic move when I spotted something interesting that made complete sense of everything. The ants were buggering me big time, so after some cache wriggling I had to make a giant leap to the side in order to be able to log. Grabbed the munzee as well - my second one ever, also the second by Tealby. (I will have to study this game more.) I returned via the stone weir and was greeted by the same mob of roos that I had met earlier as I entered the area. Thanks for the cache and the ant bites! [B)]
Took The Woofer for a short walk today to clean up some caches around Mugga Reserve. Despite ground being swampy in some places it was a lovely stroll through the bush, and The Woofer enjoyed watching the rabbits that were out in full force today! Found 7 of 7 in under an hour, so a very successful morning.
A nice easy find, and no ants to be seen. Thanks for the cache Tealby!

Only a limited time in the capital I'm trying to make the most of the free time I have.
Tonight I decided to tackle the caches in this reserve. This was the first of the night and had no trouble finding the cache.
Thanks

Found while I was out on a caching run with AngelG27. I had to take a break from caching and this afternoon is a lovely way to get back into it. Easy find, loved the cache! Thanks.
Went on a mini caching tour with Elektra48 this afternoon to clean up a few caches in this neck of the woods. I had already found two of them, but E48 grabbed all four of them. This was the first one of the afternoon, and a nice easy one, once our GPS pointed us in the right direction. Nice little hidey hole this one! **Thanks Tealby!** The next cache ended up being a bit trickier for various reasons....
You're right. Great spot for a cache...and a clever one too. Nice. That's it for this morning's cache hunt. Some fun bush running, plenty of spider webs, roos, rabbits, 6 caches found..it's off for breakfast before a warm Canberra day. TFTC
One doesn't need rocks in one's head to head out for a spontaneous geostroll late on a Saturday afternoon.
This was an easy find - helped by putting myself in a prime cache spotting position while trying to photograph a cicada (which was having none of it and flew off immediately).

I may have rocks in my head, which would explain why I went for this one with such confidence. But I had a lucky break today, and spotted the cache immediately. Very sneaky. Surprised to find a blank logbook.
Also managed to pick up a surprise Munzee in the process
TNLN - Thanks Tealby!

Went on a wander to replace the log & met up with ZimbaW who had just found the old wet version. (I hope you managed to find Cat's Whiskers.)
F(H)ound it! 3:40pm second of 4 today.
Headed for the obvious spot first and found nothing. Checking the hint meant I had the container in my hand pretty quickly. I know what you mean about the rocks in your head. I get quite animated myself, and then friends look at each other with slightly worried expressions [:/].
I extracted the log and the poor thing was soaking wet. I noticed that the last logger was not that long ago so it must have gotten hit by rain in the last couple of weeks. I rolled it out to air while I found a scrap in my wallet to sign and put it in the container. Stopped to take a photo of Ridgeo-pup and I was wondering if perhaps I could replace the log and call CO when who should come wandering out of the bush in my direction - but the CO with a replacement log. Now, yesterday was the first time I met another local cacher while out caching (SDL) and today I see another one, AMAZING!

The last cache of the afternoon before heading back to the car and the playground for the kids to have a play a biccy. The cache was quickly found, but is very wet. Thankfully Mack96 had her "able to write on wet things" pen so the log was signed but the paper tears. TFTC Tealby
GPS and phone didn't quite agree on where GZ was, but after a quick hunt decided which site was the more likely and cache quick to find. TFTC Tealby.
GPSr was all over the place so eventually I just went for the obvious. After a search and a read through previous logs and another search, there it was. And what do you know, GPS was spot on 0 the whole time I was signing the log! Thanks Tealby
Found too easily as had been put back upside down. This also meant water had got in and log is waterlogged. Attempted to dry out with tissues, sunshine and wind but not a good drying day! Did my best but couldn't hang around for ever. Put back in such a way as to protect the cache and exploit its camo. Love the caches!!

Took a "small" detour to grab a couple of geocaches on what started as my walk home from Symonston to Kambah but now a geocache hunt between Symonston and Mawson. A nice hide. No need to worry about ants invading the cache today, however there was a nice size centipeded curled up between the cache and the camo.

This was a neat little cache. Thanks. It was the last one for today. Saw lots of kangaroos.
Today beautiful Full Sunny.... I walked to O'Malley and Redhill hill for 5 hours found 20 caches... Hide well... Heaps Kangaroo and Rabbits everywhere... Thank
Found 9:50 pm. After finding Cats Whiskers I set off to go back to the car getting slightly distracted along the way looking for wattle for a work scavenger hunt when I recalled the comment to check the other caches in the area so I stopped to see what else was here only to find I was less than 50m from this cache. So I couldn't pass this one up and had it in shortly after. Signed log and replaced fairly quickly given the time and cold. TFTC
A nice quick find, the container was fairly obvious for those in the know!
There was an odd pink ribbon nearby on a tree, not sure why.

Great hide! There was a foreboding pink ribbon on which "please leave" could be read... TFTC!
Nice camouflage. Sorry but the bag broke when I was trying to open it and alas I did not have a replacement bag of that size with me. TFTC.
3070. A nice afternoon stroll with nature. Happy to say this neat hide didn't elude me for too long. TFTC.
#1451 - 09:55; I had just logged another of this CO's caches nearby and this one was too good to pass up while I was in the area. Headed off along the track and through the weeds to GZ where a quick find was made. After log signing duties were completed, it was off to grab a third on this circuit on the way back to the geomobile. TFTC Tealby
2nd Tealby cache this morning.
This one is in a beautiful spot and you'd have to have "rocks in your head" not to visit it. Judging by the lack of tracks in this general area, it is not too often used.
We loved our meander today. Perfect bushwalking/trail running weather.
Thanks Tealby,
Domsky

I was in the area doing some caching duties, I had some spare time and the weather was nice with no wind. So, off I went. The log was damp so I dried it for a while in the sun. Almost dry and off to another cache.... Thanks Tealby

No trackables and log too wet to write in

Found the film container uncovered on the ground. Had no idea where its original hiding place was. Put it in a hole of the tree. Btw, the log sheets are damp. Anyway, TFTC!
