Our friend Leah won this coin as a prize at our Riverland Rendezvous 1 Event.
Leah fondly remembers "Hey Hey It's Satirday" which featured Pucka Duck.
Leah named the coin - Leah's Pucka Duck Geocoin.
Just dropping the coin in so as to create a starting point for its travels.

The Rendezvous seemed to be a great success with the opportunity for Geocachers to meet & exchange experiences.
Seems there are a lot of other people who enjoy a treasure hunt and who spend a lot of time on this hobby.
It's a great reason to get out & about.

We were on the road at dawn to get the event on time. Somehow we overshot the location and ended up in Mexico!
So we were late. Only just. It might have been better if we had pre-adjusted our clocks for daylight saving.
Still the hunt was on and it was a lot of fun. Sorry about the milo tin. The meal and social outing was a joy too. Some serious night caching followed.
Luxury 5 star accommodation at the sandbar completed the adventure.

A big day out for both the Parrots.
We were up at 6:30 and didn't get home till midnight.
Started the day with a "Z" cache out at Mt Pleasant and worked our way over to Loxton picking up caches along the way.
We had 12 cache finds and 1 Event attendance to bring up our

We had a great time with the event.
After arriving 30 minutes late due to a flat tire and stopping to get lunch while I pumped in all the co-ordinates we still managed a FTF on one of the caches even if I was eaten alive by ants. Deborah loved the dance I did on the way back to the car.
We ran into other cachers around the course. The Campers and Everlasting seemed to be on the same run as us.[^]
We had a relaxed time and really got into the fun of it coming up with names and songs for each cache. [:o)]
A bit of assistance from Adrian and a review of the sheet back at the clubhouse then off to dinner.
I don't know who was more surprised when we were announced the winners Deborah or I but we were both delighted.
The trophy will just have to sit next to Jimmy2 back at our place.
Thank you for a lovely day out.

What a great event! Coming second was a bonus as we thought we hadn't done a great job of it all! A great bunch of people, we will definitely be at the sequel. "Camped" overnight in the campervan at the same place as Skippy, Freddo and Everlasting. Ended the event in style by christening the Camper by getting it bogged in the sand, but it was towed out in the morning. Much cheaper than Virginia towing too! Thanks guys. Can't wait for the next one. Geokid ended up thinking it was good fun too and admitted it once we got home. Cached on the way home, following mostly in Adrian Mc's footsteps. Thanks for the event Jardry and Flipper & Co.
Thanks for a great event and dinner. Enjoyed meeting you all
Hopefully do it again some time. I'll get my GPS sorted out ready for the next time
