nice cache on a slightly raining afternoon. the weather couldn't make up it's mind what it was going to do, shine, rain or gust.
we hunted between muggles - yes even in this weather there were muggles walking the wall - and found the cache with a insight from geoson.
We found it, pulled it out, and went to sign the log. the log is in bad shape and needs repaier we couldn't physically sign it as it has fallen apart - unfortunatley we didn't have that sized log book with us otherwise we would have replaced it. We owe one in the geoscheme of things.
logging as found even though the log book couldn't hold our signature!

This place is stunning. We had never been to North Haven before, but we came here to geocache and we will be back. TFTC
We had to time our searches for this cache carefully as there were lots of muggles walking the breakwall today. We have has a lot of rain recently so I guess everyone is making the most of the sunshine. The geokids prefered to look for crabs on the rocks which left me to look for the cache. After about 10 minutes of searching something out of place caught my eye. The log in this cache has almost disintigrated and needs replacing. Thanks for the cache coldzero.
Whoaaa muggles galore here. Now back to stealth mode - pretended to use the gps as a mobile phone... Gee that was a long call from geo-wife - yes, dear I will be home soon... Thanks coldzero308.
Geowife found this one as i was about 4 meters out with the Gps coords. This was also my second visit to this cache and must say lucky i bought geowife this time or i still may be looking.lol
Hi I used this cache to introduce Gray nomad parents to Geocaching. It is a heavily overcast day but took advantage in a break in the weather for the hunt. Even though i am a local i have not been for a walk along the wall for a long time, the sea was up a bit, and the sea mist was creating a fog up the river. Because of the rain there was not many muggles around. Took ten Minutes to find the cache as GPS was a bit off probably due to the cloud cover, and a great hide. Parents were suitably surprised, We sat on nearby bench and watched Black Shags diving for bait fish.
Parents are now Geo-gray-nomads.
Log was very damp.

I found plenty of hints where hints shouln't be, but when I saw the cache it all fell into place. As they usually do. The water looked almost like I could have went for a swim, almost. It was crystal clear and the sun was out. TFTC.
Quick find to start off the day, didn't see any dolphins here (we had to wait until the Sunday for that!) TFTC
I tried looking for the dolphins but they where not there ,,,,, maybe next time TFTC
Did not find this one looked under all rocks away from rock wall as per the hint too many muggles walking by so will get another day.
I had had to bypass some of the really interesting walks nearby because of the weather (next time) so was happy to grab this one. No Dolphins here today but I have seen them in similar surroundings, and did see two lots further north yesterday.
Checked out a few rocks before finding the right one but not where the GPS was telling me to look. This cache which is an expensive one needs an O ring to make it water tight and thus keep the log dry but it is OK at the moment.
Thanks coldzero308 for bringing me to this area. Found at 12.00.

The rain had stopped so it was time to venture out again. Being dark I didn't see the other parking area until I walked across the park from the main road.
The co-ords put me right on top of the cache so was an easy find.

Found by Mary & David at 1640. The water looks like a mirror and a pelican is waiting for someone to come and clean their fish. Our thanks yet again to Coldzero308.
I'm pretty sure, we found where it was but believe its been taken, found the rocks. might need a check. thanks
Quite a lot of muggles about today, plus our youngest cacher's jumpiness about the colossal ants combined to prevent us spending much time on this one. We'll have to come back and try again another day; I think we know what to look for, but the immediate candidates didn't provide satisfaction. Oh, well, next time. TFTC!
Found this one while on our way home from Port Macquarie. The weather was perfect and this is certainly a beautiful place to visit - but no dolphins were in sight today - just lots of muggles fishing. We made our way to GZ quite easily and thought we knew where to look but found ourselves going around in circles. Finally Marco spotted something that looked slightly out of place and BINGO he had the cache! TNLNSL TFTC

Found this one one the way through town. We had to wait out a few walking muggles but Shell came up with the find while I checked out the fishes!
Thanks coldzero308 for the cache.

After a nice walk along the breakwall we decided to look for the cache. Found it and sat on the rocks to write the log enjoying the sunshine and spotting a dolphin. TFTC
No dolphins today, a few muggles but a very easy place to stand and stare at the water whilst they walk past. TFTC.
Found this cache yesterday with lots of help from fellow geocachers...this is my first so now I am hooked. Thx ColdZero
4 of us went searching for this one on our afternoon stroll. (The 2 Cougars with Mattsamillion and the Dman.)Found with the help of a visiting Cacher who came to our rescue. We had been looking under rocks for about 5 minutes and decided that maybe the rock we wanted had been overgrown by the long grass. He spied us from a little way off and called out "Are you Geocachers?" He found it in about 30 seconds flat and we all added our names to the log. Had fun - as usual (but it's always more fun when you can actually find it - isn't it !) TFTC Coldzero.

found with the help of fellow cachers... who were also hunting for this one! had fun, passed the log round and all signed. thanks coldzero
Ran into fellow caches. Could not find this last holidays. One last try end up a easy find. Tftc
This was my second attempt for find this one. I thought about it really carfully and worked out where it must be, and went straight there. This means that I can now tick all the caches in the area, having found "Mangrove Mania" as well. I am happy.
Great location nice park used to come here years ago with the kids.Found the stone where it shouldn't be. Quickly signed cache. L/N T/N. Thanks for the cache coldzero308. Regards Angel Dust
Took a few minutes to locate in a good hide. Waiting for a few muggles to pass was also a factor. Thanks.
A good hide thank you. We saw a shag on a rock hanging his wings out to dry and some pelicans but no dolphins today.
FlyingPigSquadron has landed! Very windy and cold today although sun shining - cache safe TNleft turtle TFTC&H
Beautiful spot and we are comming back with the fishing rods. Took some searching but finally located it. Great hide, great container. TFTC
found by gizmo's &team stoff clever little hide . your right a rock should not be there TFTC TNLN SL
We looked and looked, but too many rocks to lift. Was it on the break way or in the grass. Clue please.
Had to wait for gap between the breakwall walkers before
we could extracting this one.
Finally we had a clear opportunity and the Cache was ours!
Thanks for the cache

Found this sneaky one after a short hunt with a few other suspicious rocks as well. Log was a bit damp inside. Thanks coldzero308.
This one had me going for a while. Other the beautiful waters and the chance sighting of a dolphin to distract me I was too focused on the possibility that this cache may have gone since a large tree has fallen right at GZ. Eventually I dispelled that theory as I found the cache all safe and well.
Thanks
Thanks
Cache was easily found, but exraction was quite a bit harder. Cache had fallen a wee way down and was hard to extract. Modified it slightly so that future finders wouldn't have the same problem, but maintained the nature of the hide. Cheers Gav[3296]
Found with the kiwi team on our great Australian caching tour.
Lovely spot and watched some people fishing. Cache proved a bit tricky to catch.

Found at 3.30pm GAFF1. We have been here many times before and never tire of the beauty. We have fished from the rocks and eaten the famous pies just down the road - magic place. Thanks coldzero308.
Tried to find just on dusk.... just not enough light & no torch to help. Did see a pod of dolphins though, quite close to the wall. So that was good!
Will have to try for this one some other year.....
Cheers.

Our second visit to this one...so simple - how did we miss it before! I think our preconceived ideas led us astray and were looking in slightly different area. Glad we tried again and nailed it. Signed log. TFTC
I was trying very hard not to look suspicious, it is a very busy walkway at times, after walking around the area a few times I spotted it, signed the log and got out of there without being seen.
Tried hard. Couldn't find it. Thought we knew where it would have been placed and thought perhaps it was muggled? Will try again another day.
Thanks for placing this cache, we had some awesome experiences here. We've never seen wild dolphins nor pelicans from that close. We didn't even know they get this big.
A special treat was when a fisherman came along and invited us to a private feeding show. As soon as he placed his fish on the table to clean them, all pelicans came and sat on the rocks. They were fighing who would get the rest of each fish.

After 2 cache finds and 2 didn't finds in the Hastings we thought we would grab this cache on the way home to Taree. A bit hard with a man fishing nearby but he ended up moving and I was able to find the cache. Not to many muggles near me. A very nice spot with a nice breakwall.

We didn't have cache notes with us, so didn't know what size container we were looking for - this led us astray a bit. Once we started thinking 'micro' it took us about 10 seconds for two of us to simultaneously head for the right spot & have the cache in hand. TFTC.
1125 FTF Out for a day trip with Mrs C and the In-laws. Looked for about 20 minutes and did the CITO thing - cleared out 15 bottles, etc. Finally, 'Father' said, "What about that rock on the …". And sure enough, there is the micro.
Had brought along Dr Quack, and Thanks for the Memory TB's but they are too big to log through the cache. Went for a walk along the break wall, then walked down from North Brother to the bottom at Laurieton, just for fun.
TFTC.
PS. I pulled out some lantana so that it won't become like Lantana Limbo, eh!
