I had a good look for this today, but agree with those before me that this has gone.
With no finds since May and no check/confirmation from the CO despite the plethora of DNFs, I think this one needs archiving if it isn't being maintained.

Managed to get some muggle free time by taking lots of photos of the ducks... Looked around but no sign of it.
Out after the flash mob event here today with Team_coxy
It was too wet too search too much

Used to do occasional run with Mona when I was 60kg and could run fast. Now at 90 kg and very unfit it is but a distant memory. Found on a ballarat cache day trip.
No Luck, seeing as it was very slippery and wet, the rain was starting to fall.
The dead animal was still there too, bit of a put off!!!

First in a quick run of four on a still Sunday afternoon in Ballarat. Had to dodge a dead possum or was it a cat - Yuck! A few Swans also thought it was feeding time. A qucik find after that. TFTC SL
Good time passer for boys waiting for next game of basketball. After four finds in one day I think we have another group of potential GEO cachers
1115, GAFF2, We had to wait between muggles to grab this one.

Rocked up to find a few muggles in the area, luckily they paid no attention to the geo kids who proceeded to find and retrieve the cache. It helped that one of the geokids made out they were going to be sick, and the muggles who were virtually standing on top of the cache quickly moved on!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Number 5 of 15 for the day on a trip up to Ballarat with Julz76 and a couple of geokids. There were a couple of muggles right above GZ and a couple of interesting boat things collecting reeds in the lake. Fortunately the muggles soon moved on and one of the geokids quickly retreieved the cache, we signed it and returned it before any more muggles arrived. TFTC
Our 16tf for the day. A second attempt on this one as too many muggles last time but this time we had the area to ourselves. Admittedly it was 6.30pm and a coolish evening. Mr Wanderer had to be a bit agile on this one and slim as well.

Night 2 of our Ballarat Smackdown weekend with DazRascal, Blacklegend, Quasar3671 & Trailrunning which seen us collecting a great range of caches over 3 days, and this was one of them.
A nice track for a lap, but not tonight, caches to find.
Trailrunning got down and showed us some moves whilst he retrieved the cache.
Thanks for highlighting the spot. TNLN SL.

One of 184 cache finds during our "Ballarat Smackdown" weekend of caching on the 23rd to 25th. There were 13 of us including Blacklegend and three of his kids, Trailrunning, Haveanez and their two boys, Dazrascal and myself amd my two boys Tyler and Cooper. We'd spent a few weeks planning the trip, with every Ballarat Puzzle solved in the area, cache lists and road and route maps all ready to go. We stayed in the Miners Retreat Motel for the two nights and the accomodation and facilities were great. Our goal was simple - find as many caches as possible in the time we were here !
We found a great variety of caches and hides during the three days, which also involved a bit of walking and some 4WD fun as well in the state forests north of Ballarat. The weather was quite cold of the Friday and Saturday morning but eventually cleared to nice sunny weather Saturday arvo and Sunday. We all had a great time, especially the kids who did really well to keep up with the pace we were moving.
Our second day of caching and it was to be our biggest day and fullest day too. Into the night caching now and after some dinner and a freshen up back at the accommodation we were back on the road. We arrived at GZ after a little walk from the parked cars where Trailrunning had to lie down to retrieve the cache. TFTC.

One of 182 caches I personally found during our "Ballarat Smackdown" trip. The trip included teams Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Haveanez, Dazrascal and myself. Caches included around 30 mystery caches, a few earth caches, lots of trads and multis and both day and night caching. Some 4WD action was encountered as well, which was great. All puzzles within 60kms were solved.
I took three of my kids, Jasmine 7yo, James and Jemma 5yo twins, traveling from Tocumwal. The trip covered 3 days and two nights, staying in Ballarat. Quasar3671 took his two boys as did Haveanez. One of the best caching trips I have been on, and certainly lots and lots of finds, almost clearing out the main Ballarat area. Home base was the Miners Retreat motel, which was quite pleasant and quiet.
This was a find on our massive Saturday run, which included both day and night caches. Lunch was a picnic in the bush at one or our cache stops. A night caching run was undertaken after a rest and dinner.
Good thing we did this at night due to the acrobatics needed to get the cache. TFTC.

After a successful Friday evening to start off the “Ballarat Cache Smackdown” with 34 finds on the first day the Saturday was always going to be a day of superhuman effort. It started early with a run heading west and south, only to finish the day and night with a run to the Northwest and North. A great day was had by all because there was some good 4WDing and the weather held out for the day with only one notable shower. A total of 98 caches were collected today, and it shows you how quickly a cache can be located with so many searchers. I had to lay on my back to find this one. Thanks for cache #118.
A bit of a stretch to get to, only just managed to avoid getting wet. It's a good thing the lake isn't too full atm:) ... otherwise great cache! Thanks!
After stopping for dinner at fellow-cacher-Sully1's for dinner, we decided to try this one under the cover of darkness. We had tried earlier in the year, but no luck, as too many muggles were around. Tonight was much easier, as no one was around, except a lone swan who was interested in proceedings. After much stretching and boot wetting, the Moose plucked the cache from its hiding spot. TFTC and bringing us here.
Find #21 of 25 for the day @ 2130 Hrs... Find #654...
No-one around at this time on a Saturday evening made for a fairly quick find... Found after dinner with Sully1 & daughter!!! Pleasant day to cruise around Ballarat with Moosetash collecting some 'smilies'...
Took: Nothing
Left: Path Tag

We politely waited and tried to look relaxed...butevenwhentherewerenomuggleswehadnoluck ...looks like we need go-go-gadget arms and an invisibility cloak for this one! Shall have to see what we can do.
Mmm, curse Ballarat weather! Didn't find this one, could only have a quick look unless I was willing to get soaked.
On vacation caching with our friends Anne and Dan in the Fiji, New Zealand, and Austraila. Logs were signed BenDiGiFu. We are from the USA. Thanks for placing the cache....Benny7210

My Hubby (Digital_Dan) & I are on vacation with our good friends, Mr & Mrs benny7210. Made out way through Ballarat where we are staying, picking up caches along the way. Out and about caching and sight seeing. Came to the botanical gardens on this might hot day. Saw that there was a guy renting side-by-side 2 seater bikes with canopies, so we decided to rent a couple to make the finds a bit easier. Very pretty area here. SO glad we decided to make the visit. met some nice locals, had some ice cream and bought a couple art pieces while in the area.
Thanks for bringing us here...it's why we love caching..to see stuff the average tourist would NEVER see!! SL TFTC

A great place to come and spend time with the family of for a jog. Met some local cachers as we were renting a (4) Wheel bike, but I can't remember their geocaching handle. Enjoyed find a few caches here and the park. Thanks for the hide!
I have been able to locate an old account operated by myself and others in 2012 for a short period operating under JasDar3429. This was my third Geocache 1/20/2012.
Logged as Kurung.

Couldn't see this one, even though (I think) the hiding spot is not too far out of reach. I just couldn't get there.
Thanks anyway....

Our last find with Liz & Bruce for a while before we head home and they head towards Tasmania. TNLN. Thanks fozzy778.
Out caching with Phetlern who brought us here to find this cache and have lunch nearby. It proved rather difficult as the water was very high. A prostate pose was required and a little leg pulling. TFTC Greetings from New Zealand.
Out on a caching run with C@H & Starruby

Another find with C@H and Kellyhaunts on our 750 km roundtrip caching day, visiting hard-to-reach and infrequently visited caches, finishing with a latenight 300 km dash for 8 FTFs!
We all ran towards the water's edge heading to the most likely obvious spot. With a good reach and a friend to haul me back to my feet, the cache was quickly in hand. Raced back across the grass with a few muggles in the nearby restaurant/cafe probably wondering why three grown men ran to the the water and back again for no apparent reason! TFTC

First find for the day. The newbies were a little bemused by the whole deal. It was The oldest member that showed the greatest promise. Nearly lost my hat in the cold Ballarat winds into the very cold Lake Wendouree.
Hadn't been here since there was water, couldn't believe how full it was. TFTC
Had a good look around for 20 minutes and couldnt reach it. Reckon I had it pinned but wasn't prepared to chance an unplanned swim. Might return in the summer. TFTC.
Going on past logs, I thought this might have been a bit of a struggle to grab, what with the lake now overflowing. Thankfully though I was able to get it without the need for fishing trousers or a snorkel. I was also glad that it was dark, so nobody was around. Thanks fozzy778.
Second time lucky! First time was in Summer (With disastrous results) so we came back on this cold winter day and found it by leaning over the edge of the stones. Nice Cache. TNLN SL
Found this one on our Ballarat three day caching blitz with Purpledreamer.
The things we do for a find, outside temp was about 10degrees, a wedding couple were having happy snaps taken on the bridge (probably there only ones......ever......LOL)....they move on and Lostmonster gets his shoes and socks off and jumps into the water for a look seek, frezzing in the water, but worth it in the end.
Nice quick find heaps of muggles about today.
Many thanks for the cache.

Found while in the area with Lostmonster&Co.A wedding party where at GZ having there photos taken as we arrived but moved on soon after. What a huge lake, lots of people around today enjoying it in one way or another. We had an idea as to where the cache would be hidden as soon as we arrived.Lostmonster stripped off his boots and socks and in he went for the retreival. While Co and I stood and watched and laughted we where approached by some foreigners asking if we where Wildlife officers as there was a sick bird not far from GZ.LOL!

Thought on approach the find was going to be an easy one but couldn't put our hands on the cache.
This find was a bit tricky, luckily not many muggles were around. we also managed to stay dry. tftc, took ladybird left pen.
Suscoe and sister arrived here in a lovely rain.
No muggles at all venturing out to get wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So a thorough search could be done.
Half of Suscoe and the sister watched and advised as the search went on.
The cleaning of the clothing will be a bit difficult after this one!
But eventually the cache was in hand.

Had a quick look this afternoon however there were too many muggles to make a grab. Came back tonight and as the co-ords were spot on I put my hand on it straight away. Did not see Mona around the track today (or maybe I was too slow!). T:nothing L:ladybug Thanks fozzy778 for this clever cache in a nice setting.
Couldn't find this one. Suspect it might of been under the structure I was looking but I didn't want to get wet looking :/
Found while visiting the area from Brisbane.. Huge area to cover. Lovely lake. Thanks Fozzy. Silky Seekers.
Found on rat run, tftc, following some cars around the lake next we know we where parking the car and we are in the middle of a festival,p.s.dont drop your cars keys in the water like i did DAMN
Found with teamppss and Dean_&_Kylie. The water levels are high but we were still able to grasp this cache. TNLN TFTC
Was our 2nd attempt for the day. Too many muggles around. Think we crossed pathes with some other cachers looking for the same thing...but was not sure.....Already had 1 boo boo for the day so did not get adventurous with this one..Still ended up being a good day - Bri and Bella got to play in the park and have an icecream so fun was still had by all. [^]
We're doing yourcaches in reverse on a beautiful evening. SL and were returning cache when mama duck and about a dozen ducklings came along. They crossed over and got chased back by a coot. I was afraid we'd started WW3. The coot kept separating the family and not acheiving it's goal. I think things settled down as we left. No muggles so a really good time to find this series. NINO thanks for series
Very muggly today but managed to grab this one after a little while. Heaps of bird life back now the lake is full. Great little spot! TFTC
What a really beautiful area. Not too many people about so we could cache in peace. Thanks for bringing us here.

A few muggles were on their daily walks, so Vicki and I had a good long look at the water. Nice to see water in the lake once again. Didn't see Steve on his daily run, however.

Wow! All this water in the lake after being dry for such a long time. It looks beautiful and is well worth a visit. It is amazing how much wild life follows the wet lands.
This was a nice easy find and after chasing all the spiders off the container I logged my find @ 15:22hrs, dropped off the "Stormere around the World I" Geocoin, took the PathTag 1130949 for my collection and replaced the container to its original hiding place.
