DSE cleaned it up

Have to agree with the last log on this one. Having read the previous log we decided as we were in the vicinity to stop by and have a look anyway. Had a good scout around for a good area at GZ, and was unable to come up with anything at all. Not even any signs of molten plastic. Suggest a check by the owners maybe?

Searched without luck - but all evidence and past clues indicate this one has succumbed to a recent planned burn by DSE. GPS was flighty but located a campfire place amongst a recently blackened landscape and evidence nearby of a potential 'door'. Further investigation of a likely cache hiding spot showed some metal type objects etc amongst blackened ash. Look forward seeing if my sleuth skills are accurate!

This was cache # 14 on a day out caching round Ballarat with Biggles Bear. Nice drive through the bush. Without having read the cache page, we weren't sure of the relevence to the Korean War. A quick read answered our questions. My thanks to lead scout for the cache.

I had always thought that caches in the bush required a 4WD, but guess what I have a very reliable 2LD (2 leg drive) that I can use as well.
Mrs Fozzy and I are trying to loose weight, so we chose this cache and 2 others to stretch our legs on!!
Left Mrs. Fozzy in the car for this one, after I nearly killed her on Trex's cache earlier. We walked about 4km into that one.
Cache was found shortly therafter!!
Thanks for the cache!!
Find # 499.1.45pm. First day of school, (no kids!!!) YAY!!

Gutsy little hide alright. But it is quite well done and only gave itself up after close scrutiny and even then, only to one who was actually looking for it. Picked it up this morning during a quick raid on the Enfield district. Made no swaps. Many thanks for the cache.

This was a rather daring hide I thought even out in the bush like this, but it works! The covering is very effective and without the hint may well have taken a lot longer to find. Thanks Lead Scout.

Found by Mary & David at 1535. Loved the container - not one we've come across before. The ground was covered in happy little orange flowers in all directions. Our thanks to lead scout.

I too was keen to explore this area as I had not been here before. Deano worked the magic with the Tidaa while I made a quick find. I hope it lasts, I suspect the next campers with an eye for detail may find it. I liked the location, very nice.

Thanks,

A bit of a detour out here but I wanted to clean up the conflict series and this one was still left.
We imagined that you may have found this spot whle camping here yourself though we hope it is not accidently discovered in the future.
Thanks Lead Scout.

Drove out on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. The cache was further out than I was expecting it to be. It's a pleasant spot, but there was a reasonable amount of traffic on the road.

Dropped in a coin that I grabbed at the Uprising event.

No other swaps.

Had some free time after finishing my morning jobs, so decided a quick trip out here would be just the thing.
A quick find on arrical at GZ.
Nice container.
Dropped off Geocoin, as it's mission is to visit military themed caches.
Thanks Lead Scout for the history lesson and the cache.

Nice to get a FTF, picked up on the way to work at 7.30am.
Nice hide, I overlooked it on my first pass as GPS was doing loops. The early morning drive paid off when the cache was found, and I was happy as my strike rate has fallen recently.
Saw lots of Roo's about this morning as well.

T : Geocoin.

L : Spring.
