Caching with Samcheng. Worked this one out on google earth before coming to Australia. Quick
find once at the GZ. TFTC.

I checked this one our last night and flagged it for this morning.
I found a different triangle and associated steps but soon found it wasn't what I was looking for.
A quick change of tact and I quickly found what I was looking for.
Thanks for the cache - all is good with it.

It has been too wet for a ride in the forest today, so I decided to head this way and hunt some urban caches instead. I chose a central parking spot and headed off on the geocycle to hunt for some smilies.
I had checked this one out at home and I was pretty sure I knew where I need to get to. I took a slightly different approach on the geocycle and walked the L plus a few steps to the cache.
A very quick hunt revealed a nicely stashed cache.
It is always nice to something a little different with a multi. [^]

Found on a return visit - ran out of time the other day. Approached from the other end. All good. TFTC
Out caching with my caching buddy and exploring her old stomping ground. Easy find once you have the co-ords. TFTC
Out and about locally today to find a cache or two
This one was my target cache and so off I went without really working out where I was to start before I left home.
Once at the posted co-ords I realised my error and headed off towards Tweed Street.
Along the way I soon worked out where I thought the cache would be and my guess proved correct after a little searching.
Ya got to get lucky every now and then.
Thanks for the cache.

I think we're getting good at this! Didn't take too long after checking out the huge frog in the pipe.
Well that took a lot longer than I care admit... worked out the cross street part online... took two visits but eventually found the hiding spot... I can confirm its not in the private garden on the cross street... I gave that quite the thorough search... tftc... took tb and left some American coin...
Tftc. Lots of fun. Can't believe it is on our doorstep. Often wondered what those furtive people were doing there! Ha ha!
A great day of caching with Swellerfungus. Our original plan for the day had involved climbing a hill or two but with the weather looking unfavourable we tossed about a few ideas and initially agreed on a trip to the Gold Coast to grab some caches to fulfill various Jasmer, DT and old cache requirements as well as picking up some solved puzzle caches. The morning started at 5am in rainy conditions but by the time we hit the coast the weather had turned lovely and we both wished we'd brought our swimmers. As we picked up a few caches we realised they all seemed to be different DT combinations and our thoughts turned to chasing the 25 unique DT challenge. So totally unplanned and unscripted we started the countdown required, steadily progressing through the grid, slowed up every now and then by the odd DNF. After 14 and a half hours we had completed our 25 different DTs and picked up some great caches along the way.
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology I managed to solve the final location from the comfort of my desk. Better than wandering around in the heat today for no reason. After inspecting the relevant point in real life we were soon at GZ where a bit of searching soon turned up the cache. TFTC.

A long weekend offers a great opportunity to get out and about for some caching. The weather however had other ideas...or so it seemed. With a rain cloud over proceedings Seffnjarah opted to head out to collect some outstanding solved puzzles (some unsolved by me until the night before!), some challenge caches, some 'oldest 100 in QLD' caches, some Jasmer filling caches, some higher D/T caches, and ultimately some interesting caches. Shortly after starting we realised that our choices had given us a great start for the 25 Different D/T ratings in a day challenge (GC5C5PB). In all a fun and challenging day around the 'Dark Side' of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
SNJ had done all the hard work on this one, and I was simply a tag a lomng. A difficult one to work out by all accounts, however a find was ultimately made.
Thanks fizz62!

Did this one this afternoon while out and about with Mumma-Kel during our family holiday here at Coolangatta.
After driving along Tweed St, we were able to give the puzzle a miss and head straight to GZ ... where a quick find was made ... and thankfully so, as the mossies were pretty vicious during our short stay. We signed the log and departed the scene as quickly as we could.
Thanks for the cache CaleD

In the area on a family holiday, and today Opa-Bob and I found a few hours to slip out for some local caches....
I'd looked at the cache details for this one beforehand, and as I began reading the requirements I thought it sounded like an interesting little multi...but then I read the last bit of the description, and the rest of the manual and realised We needn't bother with the first bit - from looking at the map, I was pretty confident, even as a tourist, I knew what we were looking for and where we might find it - so we headed there - and just as suspected easily found the triangle and steps - and with a geotrail running along beside the steps and stopping part way down, finding the cache was also easy - which was terrific because the mozzies were out and biting. We made hasty work in signing and replacing, but I managed to trade out a smurf for a finger puppet before high tailing it out of there Thanks for the hide fizz62.

Great 1 I was glad that they spoke in riddles. It was a bit hard, steps. Great fun!
A good hide; I ignored the calculations since I wasn't sure if "street" counted and some loggers doubted the calculations anyway. TFTC
Yay got it! I was blinded by lots of triangles for a little while until my common sense kicked in and I found the one I was after. Cache soon discovered but it looks like some unsavoury muggles have been spending some time in the area, the cache was undisturbed and I cleaned up what I could find but I would suggest some caution when looking in the area. Tftc
This was a great cache, simple and straight forward multi that's a little different to the regular. We enjoyed this one. We were approaching GZ and of course a muggle was there He was using the HINT as part of his footy training, up, down, up, down etc. We held out and perseverance won as the muggle took off. With muggle gone it was a quick grab and return.

On a trip to QLD to meet up with family, we took the opportunity to do a little caching on the side. Thoroughly enjoyed the area and saw some spectacular views during our visit.

Wilsner5 found this one, our 3rd find. Did the puzzle before we went. Found it as described. We are glad we learnt how to geocache for our holiday adventures. Nice one.
Second found cache of the day, after obtaining correct co-ordinates JooJoo57 and I were on our way. Went to GZ - there were all these triangle however it hit us where we needed to look - found after a thorough search. TFTC
Street numbers worked out and off to where we thought GZ was. Richmond Lad searched while I was trying to work out why my car wouldn't lock - RL hadn't closed his door properly!!!
When finally I worked out door issue went to where RL was looking - thought about clue - special triangle spotted and number 12 was needed. Bingo! cache was found. TB taken. TFTC fizz62.

Found with dnanx and Sugarygoodness. After a few attempts and an extra hint, found our way to the correct triangle and the cache. TFTC
The numbers don't add up but never mind, we got the hot tip from the CO so made the easy find this morning with snazzyjazzy12, geodog and sugarygoodness. Tftc fizz62
Snazzyjazzy12 and I searched for this one in November when I came for a visit from Perth but came up empty handed. Thought we would have better luck with dnanx in tow, but still no luck with the numbers adding up. Stumped, we asked cache owner for help. Thankyou Fizz62. We swapped a badge for an elf figure and I left a fairy TB. TFTC!
Having got sodden doing "Where Eagles Dare", I realised I couldn't get any wetter so I decided to grab this one on my way back to the Motel.
I had researched it before leaving home so it was a quick and easy find. The hard part was keeping the log dry.
TNLNSL TFTC!

I tried to nut this one out last night but couldn't get numbers to add up nicely at all. When it came time to be in the area, I decided to just try driving up and down anyway and see what came up. Well, to cut a long story short, the cache is what came up, somewhat to my surprise. All is in good nick, so TFTC!
Today was the day for a major assault on Coolangatta/Tweed. trying for a new PB and hopefully puting smiles on the dials of each of them.
I thought I had this one worked out long ago from home and it had gone thru a muggledom and a change of ownership (that I had arranged) so it was one I really wanted to find before it disappeared again.
The operative word in the above sentence is THOUGHT!!.
I had looked on google earth and had myself convinced that I was right with GZ, so what was that word again "THOUGHT" You know what thought did........ thought it did!!!
I resorted to the next best thing PAF who of course was not available because some of us have to WORK! so I had left this one to go and find some other caches in the area.
Luckily I was still in town when he rang back some 2 1/2 hours later and he was able to give me a hint (not GZ just a hint honest!!)
I looked on google again and tried to figure out where I had gone wrong and all of a sudden all became clear.
I was so close yet so far, in saying that I had the WRONG 1 Triangle 2 Steps & 3 Location.
It is truly amazing how everything works just right when you have all the info.
Thanks Monkey Maker for the hint.
Thanks Fizz62 for this cache and keeping it alive so I could finally enjoy it!!!! Favourite coming your way!

We like maps and Mr CF made good use of the local one to find the coordinates for this one. Associated technology helped out so we knew exactly what to do when we arrived on site and a quick find as made. thanks CaleD for the cache - something different in the way of a multi.
#686 - Found on a morning cache run with the control freaks.Mr CF did the brain work, the cache was spotted by Pa Merekat ...TFTC
I was going to the nearby International geocaching day event so picked this up as well. I'm not sure about the street but did what others had done and managed to locate this. Thanks for the multi fizz62.
What a great idea for a multi cache fizz62. Managed to work out the street last night and drove down today on the way to the international geocaching day event held at point danger. Spotted the triangle and parked up. Wandered on down but was greeted by a muggle and his dog. Waited for them to vamoose and soon found my prize.
Thanx again fizz62, enjoyed this one

Second attempt at this one, I thought I would just start at one end and drive to the other, then suddenly a triangle appeared, loved it, gets a favorite, TFTC fizz62!!
Last I looked here (12 months ago) this was missing. Thanks for replacing the cache
[navy]Captain Terror [/navy]and I decided to head down to the GoldCoast today to clear out a bit of it since I had not really done much down here.
The captain directed me in the direction of the place that he thought this cache should be placed in, and so i decided to blindly follow. after searching for about 10mins, i decided to read the description and applied a bit of logic, and in no time at all we were at the location of the final.

Knowing I'd be in this area eventually, I set about seeing what of it I could solve from home. I came up with the right intersection and saved the information for another day.. today!.. well, tonight.
Egginthesky and I were making our way around the southern end of the Gold Coast and decided to grab this one next. Despite my previous solving, we had some issues with the interpretation on things. Lots of triangles around and after about 10 minutes Miss. Sky had an idea and we tried a slightly different tack.
Sure enough things made a lot more sense here and after some more logic application, I hopped over to grab the cache. Not so hard afterall with a bit of thought. TFTC CaleD and fizz62

Found just where it says it is.
Been coming down to Cooly and surrounds since the late 50's and never ever visited this area before - suppose as we came from the country we were always at the beach or doing the touristy things - pity as this park (hidden gem) would have been great to have a game of cricket or throw the frisby etc (geokids call me a fossil) - and shady in the summer time. I was walking around for ages, have noises where it is. I think it is near the church but will need to try again another day. If anyone could help with instructions please do so.
I had been stopping off at many IGA's to find a copy of the Local Directories phone book, without success. And being tired after a long caching day and drive with MAP's and MVMtBiker I only gave this half a go I guess. Some time when back in the are will try again, and hopefully have some maps with me, and not just Manning Area Pathfinders
I have taken on CaleD Needs a Map, (as CaleD is living in Europe). Visited the site today, replaced the cache, and made some minor adjustments. Enjoy!
After a bit of thinking we figured it out , nice little hiding spot but no container .
Found a spot it could of been but think its been muggled pls check for its location
We also found a nice spot under the fourteenth step but no sign from the cache. Hope the owner puts this one back before we go back to Portugal.
Followed all the clues and found a nice likely giddy hole under the fourteenth step but no sign of cache container. May need to be checked.
I think it's been removed as we could not find the cache anywhere. We were looking between dutton street and the park, as described 14steps from the top step, also had alook around but nothing. Please advise. Thx
GeoNo and I went for a walk from Rainbow Bay to find this cache. We were a bit confused at the beginning, I thought we'd have to search inside a roundabout, but Geo (from GeoNo) found the clues which became much more logical. Took puzzle, left TB. TFTC.
Found with KateRX. Just on dark mozzies were in full flight. Hard to sign a log and slap at the same time. Thanks CaleD, enjoyed the walk.
Worked out what was required whilst back in Adelaide, confirmed this morning before making a quick find. although not quick enough to avoid being eaten by mosquitoes! TFTC
...and I forgot to mention that this is my first QLD cache!

Help!!!!!! I didn't find this cache this morning.. Was getting confused as to which triangle to start from. After searching through the church gardens I was also approached by a muggle!
yipee found it ... altho we asked a local of the street name and they put us crook. TFTC
Our first Puzzle cache for the day. Nice one too. Enjoyed working through and signing the log at the end. TFTC CaleD
Strueth its hilly around here. Watched a small white Shitzu type dog climb up the steps .... painful to watch, leaping up a step at a time, then all was quiet and a quick find. SL Thanks for placing a cache here CaleD. cloudglider
Our 2nd QLD cache. After walking about 10 km circumnavigating the lookout and failing to find C View we hurried back for lunch and then got caught in rain. For 6 weeks Auckland has had WAY too much rain and per my iPod Gold Coast has been glorious. But it had also warned they were going to swap weather for 3 days. Cache was not in the first place we looked but we had already worked out the puzzle before confirming with the hint so it didn't keep us from lunch for long. Third Oz find this trip and all 3 fav's - are all the Gold Coast hides this good?PINO TFTC
I read the hint and took all the fun out of this one. Found quickly and easily. Muggles everywhere in the area, but none at the cache location thankfully.
found it, but unbelievably my pen wouldn't work and there was no pencil in cache. will have to go back another day and sign log!
I was in Coolangatta toady for work, so decided to find a cache on lunch break. One of the closest that seemed like it wouldn’t take too long to find was this one. I already had figured out roughly where I should look, and in a few minutes had the cache in hand. It’s great to find a regular size cache in an urban environment! The cache is in excellent condition. I didn’t do any swaps today – but there are plenty in there! Nice one, CaleD!
Found it fairly quickly after spending a while looking for the streets.
Took TB (but not the geocoin listed)

After a bit of a caper, and under the watchful and knowing eye of Radnoski, I managed to get this one. The cache was in good condition. TFTC CaleD
We took a bit of a circuitous route to this cache. Found an intersection, found a sign, found some steps and found the cache. Thanks very much CaleD
Found this one while out caching today. Nearly got sprung by a muggle on his way to football training at the oval below. But managed to cover my tracks. Took the TB. TFTC.
Visited while on holiday, but took a while to work out the clues even with two people searching. Left Red Racer geocoin, TFTC
Couldn't get numbers to add up to 181. Walked the length of Tweed Street on a very hot and humid afternoon and couldn't find any triangles.
Must have been having a boy look!!
Will try again some time.

Love this quiet area around the border. Found a trackable but it does not seem to match with those showing on web page so will log it properly. Perfect caching day, finds and photos, sun and breeze, I'm a happy cacher today frunning Cale D caches to ground. Left a boat, a dinosaur, and a keyring.

Found without much difficulty and some quick calcs. Nice spot for a hide. T screwdriver bug, L Fort bug. TFTC.
I did a bit of research before leaving home and the cache was found quickly after finding the right spot to start. Nice quiet spot except for a few muggle emo kids that were lurking around.
TFTC CaleD.
I grabbed the fancy coin and left a Travel Bug that has recently traveled from the U.S. or A.
