Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, michaels mob, requesting additional time.
An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.
Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by michaels mob and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Definitely been destroyed so that's disappointing. Great view from here though.
Really enjoyed my walk up here this afternoon. Great view and lookout here. Thanks
I have always been reluctant to search for this one, but I set out to do it today.
A quick find.
This cache was hunted, tagged and released by activehunters tftc.

Camped at Launceston, out around town today for a few caches. Quick find, good coordinates. Cache all good. TFTC
Making good use of the new Dogs Allowed pocket query I made.
Found with CatCasper. Easy find.

This took me a while to find until I realised the meaning of fire proof. Thanks for the views and thanks for the cache.
Hello michaels mob thank you for the cache.
Another walk in the dark I don't know how I was supposed to get there but I think I took the hard way.
I wanted to find some caches so I could get some Hidden Creatures souvenirs that I can proudly display on my profile page that no one will see.
I travelled up from Hobart for this search.

Nice walk into an area I’ve never knew about. Great place for kids to be kids and not indoors playing electronic toys. TFTC
This is the first time we have been up here though we see it "on fire" just about every summer. Really surprised that this cache survives all the burning but it has. TFTC!
Thank you gyrosweeper my 8yr old is very excited that he is able to swap your card for one of his treasures
I came here to find two trigs and this was nearby. The climb up from Vermond Road was a lot easier than expected, except for the grass seeds . TFTC michaels mob.
Finally found the time to stop in for the three on this hill. Lovely views and aneasy find, tftc
#4083 - 15:35; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. I dropped the geohoney for a bit of retail therapy and headed off to try for a couple of trigs. I parked further away than I needed to, which also made for a less well beaten track in. I had located the nearby GCA trig before seing this cache was close by. I scouted around a little, but soon found the cache and quickly had the log signed before heading off via a better route to the geomobile. TFTC michaels mob
While attending the Ulysses Club agm in Launceston, I managed to sneak around and find some caches. tftc.
Before setting out I asked my geokid what he would like to take as a swappable, he formed a huge grin and said "I know I'll take my sister". Unfortunately for him she wouldn't fit in the cache.
Been eyeing this one off for a while but was holding off til out and about in area with good excuse to go secure. Found with Gyrosweeper on a night ride.TNLNSL
First find of the 'day/night match' (twilight/night-time) raid with #Reperio, transport by geo-cycles. Thanks for the maintenance done FelixII, all in good shape due to your good work. I am familiar with this spot, having been here many times before, in my muggle days.
Enjoyed the scramble up the fire blackened slope - courtesy of ravo's finest. Not a bad location to soak in the city views. Based on past photos, cache has been resurrected with decent container and log.. thanks..!!
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out from Loira to find some more caches on the Eastern side of the Tamar river and into Launceston.
Beautiful in the sun but when it ducked behind the clouds a bit cool.
Found your cache to help us with our exploration of the area. [^]
Having read the previous logs took a new cache and log to GZ. retrieved all the old rubbish to be recycled.

This cache is hanging on by it's fingernails but has mutated into a "log by photo". So I guess after over 7 years in the wild it's achieved it's goal of being able to withstand the annual trial by fire. Certainly evidence of that hereabouts. Another "log" has been added to the growing gallery. The views made it worthwhile.
What an awesome view back across the city lights from the GZ. Worth the scramble yo the bank. Cache is in very poor condition as stated by previous caches. Really needs some maintenance. Unable to sign the log as its non existent.

Like the previous logs their are two bottoms and one top of a tub. The zip lock has a lump of paper which looks like it has been wet and then dried. needs a lot of maintenance
Container & plastic bag is all that remains. No log to sign & I had pen but no paper have taken photo of cache
Whilst we couldn't sign a log sheet I managed to find a sistema and an extra half with a plastic bag but no log sheet within 2m of the coordinates . It was mostly buried and in a very bad state of repair. As previously stated it needs maintenance big time! Photographic proof attached. TFTC
no luck even took someone who found iot before and its missing needs replacing or archiving
My first Geocache was a bit disheartening. Could not find it despite looking everywhere and even "bush bashing" a bit =(
Very wet, this one. Found a previous sistema 3 metres away, and left it under the current one.
I had to dodge all the emergency vehicles and road blocks to get close to this one, as there was a nearby housefire. Once at GZ, a view of the said fire was available. Took the recommended route in with no requirement to battle with the bush. Quickly found the cache which was very wet. I also found another sistema 3 metres away, likely a previous container for this cache, so I left that under the current container for the CO to recycle! TFTC
Sadly it has been poorly sealed and the log and cache are saturated. I do not have the stuff to maintain. I am sorry!
Found what remained of the cache. It certainly requires replacement as it only has a lid left. Unable to sign the log as it is missing. TFTC
Found lid and remains of cache. Signed paper. Have placed lid and piece of paper under rock by nearest tree to GZ. There are two similar trees. The left one as you look towards Launnie. Definitely needs maintenance.
This one is lost we found the read me Sheet on the ground no container or cache needs replacing
Found only the container, but no lid or contents to be found...Placed the container where I thought the cache would have been. So hopefully michaels mob can check it out. TFTC anyway
The campsite wasn't so abandoned today, and we had to move quietly past someone who was asleep. At gz it looked like every rock had been moved, and fairly recently too because the grass underneath had not died off. Either there have been some DNFs who tore the place apart and then didn't log, or there has been a muggle here who has searched for some time knowing there was something here. Either way, we didn't find a cache.
My trusty android took me right to the coordinates. Spot in... i dont know how fireproof it would be. TFTC TNLN
While my wife attended a conference in Launceston I was allowed to go caching for two days in and around the Launceston Area. In the end I managed to go through to Derby and get the icem cache I wanted to find, through to Kayena and check my caches there and clear out the majority of Launceston Traditionals that were actually there. The only one that I failed to get was "Power to the People", where I simply ran out of time.
Hi. The first visit I had to this site was at night ad I could not find the cache. This time during te day the location looks different, and the cache was found quickly. The only concern was the arrangement of somebody's possessions from camping out in the area. Thank you for the cache

Quick find, log book saturated, dropped off new log book and replaced all the zip lock bags. Took nothing, left marble. Looks like there is an abandoned camp site near GZ.
Excellent directions, followed to the letter and there was the fireproof cache. Unable to sign because of the water-logging, so donated a piece of paper as a temporary log. TFTC on a day when most of Lonny are watching some pagan rite on TV.
Tent city,???? We must admit that we felt eyes were upon us from the nearby tents. This could be a great location but seems to be an out of sight out of mind spot. Thanks michaels mob for this cache.Cheers.
