Lovely day for a big jimny drive up to Range to look at the Autumn colours and find a cache
After finding this one given 30 mins advance notice managed to get all but 2 of the numbers. At the chapel got the last two, but no reception so couldn't check. Distance was 6000km away so it must be wrong. Wandered off to get the trad, then came back and on a whim tried altering one of the big coord numbers to make it 30m away. Quickly found the cache there!! thanks for placing.
Reperio 15:45Day 2 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I decided to head out towards Uralla and Armidale, and eventually towards Hillgrove and Wollomombi. With lots of drive by caches, most the finds were nice and quick, with a few nicely crafted caches thrown into the mix. The most pleasingly part of the day was that nearly all the caches were available and found.Gratias time librarianAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there.Wow, that building near GZ is amazing! Thanks time librarian for the puzzle and the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
This location stood out in my mind from last drive through here, quite special, anyhow this time armed with coordinates found the cache, favourite point for the location.TFTC
Devastation to realise our coords were wrong so we spent a good while looking around at the site until the cache was found. Thank you for allowing a reason to show Mystery Sleuth a bit more of the country surrounding Uralla and Armidale

Went to the wrong waypoint to start with . Realised my mistake after wondering around enjoying the view and colours of the leaves on this freezing cold day. Quick find with the correct coordinates

We drove past this cache the day before so went back and solved. Arrived today and had the correct Co-ord and soon had cache in hand. What a lovely old church. TFTC
I had forgotten to solve this at home, so we had to miss it on the Monday, with no reception, and come back Tuesday, as we had solved it at camp last night. Thanks google. TFTC. A very quaint church.
Making our way back to QLD and picking up certain caches along the way. This cache helps with 2 crazy challenges back home so we took the 10km detour one way to grab it.
Cute little chapel nearby, cache quickly found and we headed back to town.

Travelling home with wombles, stopping here and there to create a few smileys and stretch the legs.A beautiful location for a cache! Loved the cute little church. Thanks for the puzzle and cache time librarian
I knew this was a beautiful spot but it was even more lovely then in photos. Especially with the leaves starting to change.
It was quite cold here today too!
I had trouble with one question but I had gotten the big tick from the checker and the cache was easily found after a walk around the church.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Heading home after a few days exploring and caching around the Armidale area.
Solved this puzzle eons ago without much trouble. Speaking of puzzles, we have a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle of this chapel back home, looks so much different in person. Cache was located after a quick search.
Thanks for the cache

Being a lover of the book and quickly solved the puzzle on Monday night. What a fabulously quaint chapel. I felt I had been transported back in time! I located the cache spot with only horrid bits of broken plastic and a thoroughly woken destroyed log book so I replaced in same spot with a bison. Hope that is ok? I can send photos if you request.
Searched for quite a while around the coords I had. Looking along the tree line and still couldn’t locate this cache. So unfortunately have had to DNF this one.
We had been told about this church at the Armidale Information centre when they recommended that we do Tourist Drive 19. We did not actually solve the puzzle as we were still waiting to obtain a copy of the book when it came time to leave on our trip. When we arrived we decided that it couldn't be too far away so we took a few photos and then walked around looking for the cache, Mr Shifter managed to spot something slightly different and found the cache.
The church is lovely and we also liked the 'church' at the base of the tree nearby.
Thanks for the hide time librarian.

Crookedpete and I were given leave passes from our respective families for the Easter long weekend for a geocaching road trip. I suspect that this was our families' Easter present to themselves to have a weekend alone without our company .
As members of The Bromance geocaching collective, we are a rather contrarian bunch, so while the main geocaching action was apparently up north over Easter we decided to instead head south from Brisbane. Our main focus was on caches with lots of favourites, good DT combinations, high elevation or sitting sad and neglected with no visitors for an extended period.
After finding some other caches in the back streets of Uralla we continued on to this puzzle which I had solved prior to this trip. As we headed further out of town we wondered why the CO was taking us this far out of the way. As we drove close to GZ the stunning sight of the nearby building instantly confirmed the reasoning for the destination. An excellent time of year to be visiting too with the autumn hues of the leaves surrounding the building. If ever there was a postcard view, this is it. We were not the only ones out here today, with a number of muggles strolling the grounds. Luckily GZ itself was clear and we quickly signed the logbook unobserved before heading to take our own photos of the surroundings. TFTC

Instead of heading mega north to Townsville for Easter, Seffnjarah and I decided on a long weekend road trip doing some bushwalks whilst targeting puzzles, EC's, unloved caches, high favourite points and some higher elevation caches.
After a night in the swag in Armidale, today we planned on heading west through Invergowrie collecting a few caches in the bush before turning south, and then returning via Uralla including this cache to clean up a long list of caches in Armidale.
Perhaps I didn't appreciate the puzzle as much as I should, but I certainly did enjoy visiting this final location. What a beautiful spot - and just the right time to visit as well, since the leaves are just starting to turn colour.
Having etched our names in the logbook, we spent a lot longer than we should have getting artsy with different camera angles. Many thanks time librarian.

We hit the road with my copy of Pride and Prejudice enjoying the New England countryside. The checker said our coordinates were wrong so we re-read and double checked but... still wrong?
We still loved the Chapel which is beautiful in the Autumn so no regrets. We will travel back another day when we have more time and solve the puzzle.

Tftc time librarian, making a start on this trail today.
Did the work to get the answers yesterday, came up with some numbers that led us to a beaut spot.
After much searching to no avail. Was going to walk away , then spotted some broken plastic and the log on the ground. Victims of an attack by a lawn mower I suspect.
Replaced the container.

What an interesting puzzle and a wonderful location. We’d heard there was a lovely church out here as well as an excellent cache so out we drove once the rain had stopped. There was still a very strong wind blowing which meant we were quite blown about but it didn’t detract from the experience. Myself and our daughters are quite the fans of Pride and Prejudice and we have the film on the old video, DVD, audio and books.
With co-ords to begin our search we started looking and had to keep looking as we didn’t spot it where we began. With the logbook signed we rebid better than it was found and took more pics before leaving.
Thanks Time Librarian for setting the cache in this beautiful area.
Cheers and happy caching!

Nice sunny day and I decided to do a loop around the backroads. This turned out to be a spectacular drive and I took a few pics. Note that it’s an ecologically sensitive area. Very pretty wildflowers

This was our first Mystery Cache attempt. We had fun answering the questions, but the Geochecker told us that our answers were incorrect. We tried a few alternative coordinates, but kept getting the same incorrect answer from the Geochecker.
So we then contacted a fellow cacher to check our coordinates and our incorrect answer was actually correct.
We then attended this location and soon had cache in hand. We even got to sign as the first on the new replacement log.
Many thanks for bringing us here to this beautiful historic location.
Took nothing, but left micro size race car. Signed log. TFTC

Checked on our daily bike ride, just happened to have a replacement so all good now.
We had the correct location but the trees have been freshly trimmed. Cache might not be here anymore.
Well we searched and we searched, we did PAF and still nothing so a DNF from us. Thanks for bringing us to such a great spot.
We hunted high and low, three pairs of eyes and even a PAF didn't help. Methinks this one has gone
Had the coords and the took me to a likely spot. Searched for a good 20 minutes then sent out an SOS to two previous finders. They told me what to look for and my return from the Hannah Trig, I searched again. This second search was hampered by a young guy on the worlds slowest mower. Looked for another 10 minutes but found nothing. I wonder if the mower had had an influence on this one?

After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.
Today was another 'trail' day. We elected to complete the Mihi Trail from Armidale to Uralla before lunch and potential rain. Then with a belly full of food, search out the Uralla caches.
It took a while to solve this one, I'm not a fan of Jane Austen or even her style of writing. Only one question tripped me up, but with a set of coordinates, the find was relatively simple and well put together. Love the cache container. Have a FP on me.

I once knew nothing of this book. Now I know almost nothing. Found with MummyPenny today, well off the beaten track on our way south from Siberia, or New England as the locals call it. What a surprise location! Thanks time librarian.

I solved this one whilst reading the required chapters online - I’m sure I’ve read the book entirely before but I must admit I don’t remember a lot of it.
Now this church is so gorgeous - would love to see it in summer or autumn so may be back one day.
Lots of people wandering around today. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot.

Let me start by thanking the cache owner for the time and effort they have put into caching for ourselves and others to enjoy.
Most will be cut and paste logs but in no way does that mean we don't appreciate your efforts
At the end of day 2 my gps reset its self and in the process deleted all my comments so I can't really remember which was what. sorry

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 5. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we moved north to Armidale, but not in a straight line. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.

Day 5 of our trip. Packed up the rather wet campsite and headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to cache our way up to Armidale. This was a lovely farming country drive, although at present it is so dry. I really feel for this farming community.
I had not read this book but using google I was able to get a condensed version of the story line. Tried a few times but was not able to gather the correct information.

An interesting and involving exercise. We were sure that we had the correct answers, but the checker said no, twice. However the CO confirmed that we were correct and that the checker was misbehaving. No problems at GZ. A nicely crafted container. FP awarded. TFTC.

Got to say this is one of my favourite books! And the BBC series was great too. Solving the puzzle was a nice revisit of the story. We stopped so I could make the grab, and the container is very neat. I wish we'd had more time to explore the old chapel. TFTC, time librarian.

With our base established at Uralla we headed out to different surrounding localities finding caches as we went. We enjoyed exploring the area and this was one we (us and Snakepiters) targetted and found. Loved this picture perfect church when I first saw it some years ago so it was great to come back to find this cache. Fav point alloc. Thanks to time librarian for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Planning a trip up the area I had read through the book a couple of weeks ago to gain the required information but I must admit it is not usually my taste. After solving the puzzle I had eagerly awaited to visit this location.
The church looks amazing at this time year, such brilliant reds. We arrived with a large number of muggles taking what seemed like a ridiculous number of photos of themselves. While they were doing that we found the cache with its excellent camo. A definite favourite point, TFTC!

What a great setting near the location of the cache. Cache was found quite quickly. Give a FP for the location near the cache.
This was a very quick find once at GZ and then had some time to admire the setting - give it another week or so and the autumn colours will be brilliant. A FP for the location.
What a gorgeous old church, and particularly pretty with the Autumn leaves... my favourite time of year. I found the cache then stopped to admire and take a few photos while 'someone' was getting slightly impatient with me, hehe. Thanks for this one, time librarian, I enjoyed solving the puzzle - a couple of nights ago! - and definitely like the location you placed this.

Tftc this spot is so beautiful this time of year plenty of muggles wanting photos of the church.
After hearing about this location a while ago, we'd been wanting to see it - especially in it's Autumn colours. Hmm, google maps says it's only a bit over 3 hours drive away - close enough for a day trip for some photography! Most importantly, if we're going somewhere last minute - is there a cache there? Yes and a mystery one too.
I don't know if i've ever actually read the book - but absolutely love the BBC series. Initially i wondered whether i could do the cheat thing and settle in with Mr. Darcy (aka Colin Firth) for a few days to get the answers, but alas time is fleeting, so decided to browse an online version of the book instead. (i fear the closest i have to this book in print is "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" which probably would not provide me with the required coordinates.) But i digress...
Once we arrived at location, i was suitably impressed. Unfortunately it hadn't been a good year weather wise so coverage was lacking to previous years (from the photos i've seen); but it doesn't make the place any less magical. After a bit of photography, it was time for the cache. I was happy to walk right up to it without even checking the compass. .
Thanks for placing the cache here and all the effort which has gone in to it. Happy to say that it's all in good condition. I will definitely have to come back again!

Out caching with daughter geobunnybutts and Lyn-the-Squib, and so good to get away from my desk it is too.
Got here as the light was waning after attending event in Tamworth today, took extra minutes to work out why our coords were nearly 5km out. Having identified the problem as a transcription error we were out of the car to hunt for the cache. No torch, in the dark now, dodging around muddy puddles, finally arrived at GZ, but cache not so easy to spot in the dark. Oh, look there it is! That's gotta be the best cache of this type we've found yet. No wonder so many faves, and another from me too.

Tftc, spent a bit of time walking the wrong direction due to having the wrong answer for one of the coordinates. Thankfully I remembered that when I was reading the book to work out the coordinates I was unsure of one of the answers. When I realised what the correct answer and coordinate was we found it within a couple of minutes.
Time Librarian here : I have re-adopted this cache, many thanks to Geono. for taking care of it in recent years to keep it active. See you at Qld Mega everyone
OMG so beautiful church even window so beautiful art. I am so glad to come here... real enjoyed drive the car to see country/scene... Thanks geono.
Early AUSTRALIA DAY !!!The task was a little testing for a (non reader)of P&P, but a trip to the library,a far bit of working out .Off for the HUNT!!!! GOT IT...Great cache container ,hide ,and area..thanks time librarian/geono for this one...
So excited to find this cache, always love finding a previous DNF. Thanks to Geono for the help. Also very excited to get a mystery souvenir

My first cache of this kind, found with muggle mate N on a beautiful autumn afternoon. Second attempt at this one, my coordinates were wrong before. Thrilled to find a geono coin, thank you, I'm glad we went when we did! TFTC geono, took coin of course and left some novelty items SL.
Found on a day when lots of muggles were around taking photos of the autumn colour. Cache is damp. Logbook wet and unable to write in it properly and did not have replacements.Shaz6611
Second time around and this time we found it. Helps if you search for the puzzle solution instead of the parking coordinates. Thanks for a creative and enjoyable cache.
Found it when we finally programmed the GPS with the solution to the puzzle. Loved the church and the cache. Thanks.
Normally I download cache details for the general area I'm in, and don't look at the details till I'm there or a bit closer to a specific one. I am very glad I read this one carefully a few days prior. Geohusband and I thought we'd read the book over and over enough in the past (as much as Harry Potters and the Lord of the Rings!) that we would know all the answers. Not so fast, Kowalski. We arrived at the excellent Armidale library a couple of days later and were much relieved to find the book on the shelf. Some fast reference reading, and we had the clues. On the next day, after touring some countryside caches, this one was a delight. Nice camoflage. A favourite point from us! And many thanks!
Puzzle solved using the same volume of Pride and Prejudice that my mother read for her Intermediate Certificate in 1960 and I also read for my HSC in 1983. Co ords lead us to cache with the only issue being the presence of muggles. Excellent puzzle and hide.
I found this one on my second visit, had the wrong co-ordinate the first time, walked past it on first visit
Quite a sneaky little hide.

Nice Hide. Took a little time to since had to recheck answers on site and then realised I must have one number wrong. When answer changed found cache about 3 metres from where I had originally parked my car having walked about 150 metres away!
After reading several of the 61 chapters of Pride and Prejudice again last night, we have some new sensible co-ordinates and it led directly to the cache Yay, The geowife picked up some rubbish quite close to here yesterday and a non cache containing piece of wood within 30cm of the hide [xx(]. Today all was forgiven as she found the cache within 30 seconds (there were a lot of likely hides already explored, so, there were only so many to pick from ) SL, TNLN, TFTC (at last)
Okay, we are going home to read the book again and with a bit of luck as Arnie says "we'll be back"
After one of our most enjoyable caching days in many years we were not going to leave until we had all the Uralla/geono caches. We were very fortunate that our daughter loves this book and has a copy so getting the answers was not that hard just time consuming.
This morning we awoke after a minus 3 night to a very nice day and we were off to try out our co ordinates.
Once near GZ we were happy we were in the right area and a short search later we had our first cache or the day and another memorable one.
We then spent some time looking over the structure nearby
Thanks again geono our first cache for the day and our first favorite for the day.

Found at 1:38 PM GAFF2. We re-checked our answer to "D" and found that there was a mistake, which last time led us to searching a few metres away. Today on a return trip, we found it straight away with a very nicely crafted cache container.
We can now put the book away!
Thanks time librarian.

We had an adventure with this one!
Visiting a friend in Tamworth on the 1st of March, she showed us her tattered, but much-loved copy of P&P. While browsing potential caches on the morning of the 2nd I came across this cache and decided this was the visit to attempt it. I grabbed my friend's copy of the book and soon had the answers, thanks to the chapter hints.
We travelled north to stay with family in Uralla and stopped off at this cache on the way to visit more family in Armidale. It was a perfect New England day to be in this spot. We had picked up some pies at the pie shop in Uralla where I worked as a teen, and sat in the car eating their yummy warmth before venturing out in to the drizzle at the GZ. As we left the car I realised I had left the car headlights on while eating, so turned them off and our search was underway.
We didn't have much luck, so returned to the car damp and cold, hoping to drive a bit further up the road to where my coordinates were pointing, only to find out car wouldn't start! There was no phone reception at the GZ, so I wandered to a nearby farmhouse and found the friendly manager of the nearby 6000 acre sheep and cattle property. They were very helpful in trying to help us jump start our car, then in returning me to their house to call the NRMA when we were unsuccessful. The NRMA in Armidale was at least an hour away so I returned to the car and decided to have a careful search of the vicinity, as all the log were pointing to me having the wrong coords....
I wandered slowly in the rain for an hour, with help at various times from various geokids, who returned to the car when they felt too cold and wet. After some searching I decided I must have one of my answers incorrect, so adjusted the coordinates to the most likely answer. I soon had the cache in hand!
And what an awesome cache it is! I think I will have to favourite this one. I highly recommend it for being a beautiful location and an excellent hide!
Not long after I had returned to the car post-find the NRMA had us jump started and on our way. This would have to be the longest we have spent at a cache location, but it was extremely enjoyable.
I picked up the TB to take it on our travels.

Replaced the old cache with a small container and left Hoedje af.../Raise ones's hat to... TB.
Recent reports are that this is missing again. Another geocacher has made an offer to adopt this cache. Please stay tuned.
We are not having much luck with time librarian caches. We thought that we were in the right spot over looking the church and a very nice nook was found, but nothing inside.
Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite books/movies and is a fitting theme for this area. I haven't been to Gostwyck for a while but knew that April is a beautiful time of year to see the church - the leaves had turned red and yellow. Thank you for bringing me here again! Cache needs a new log, the old one is soggy. Unfortunately I wasn't carrying one at the time.
Wow - we can't believe that this cache has not been found since July! Zita was playing navigator while Enzo drove, so she was checking if there were any caches nearby. Even though we really didn't have time to stop for caches (our drive was 16 hours ) Zita couldn't resist this one because Pride and Prejudice is her favourite book which she reads pretty much yearly. The answers and the coords were worked out in about a minute, but she then checked the ibooks version on the phone to make sure that they were correct. A quick detour off the highway and we found the most beautiful spot! We giggle at logs that say "thanks for bringing us here" but we mean it - thanks! Enzo had one false start, then Zita uncovered the hide! The log is very wet, but we managed to gently sign it. TNLNSL TFTC!!!
Had co-ordinates wrong, took us over kilometre away!! Also came face to face with brown snake!! Will try again when traveling through area again
