NOTE TO REVIEWER
Can we revive this cache. I have contacted falmer who is happy for me to look after it.
It is at a nice spot and I am pretty sure that working on the size of the cache we would have some success.
can you un-archive it and give me access to the cache page or shall look into creating a new cache up there?
Greetings
nzkeko

As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Had a good hunt without any luck. Hadn't realised that there had been so many prior DNF's before looking. It is a very specific hint so seems very likely to be missing.
Although previous logs pointed to this cache almost certainly being missing, we had a quick look on our way past, but not surprisingly were unsuccessful.
[Very sad that this cache has gone. Spent some time to search with no success.]
If I can help in any way to restore it I am happy to do it as I am living in Gisborne.
[Cheers

Searched near steps, and did not find. Then went to where GPS coordinate were, and did not find either.
Found location easy ebough but not able to locate cache. Same comment as last time, went on to complete more caches Thanks Carla
Unable to find cache and looked everywhere - now looking at other's comments, suspect it may have gone walkies. Great spot with amazing views of Gizzy - TF bringing us here

Wonderful spot to be in on such a clear day. Couple of muggles but no one seemed bothered by us. Drove down a bit further and took some photos overlooking the town and the port. Took Geocoin TFTC
140 m, is taht all, felt like a lot more when walking up from town, those steps are killers. One car in the viewing area, but cache was a cinch while taking a well earned breather.

Had to wait for some exercising muggles to move on before finding this cache. Lovely views from up here! Cheers Gav [2423]
2nd find on visit to Gisborne, dodging rain showers and occasional muggle. Great view, interesting spot. Biggles (Nelson) and MarkJ (Auckland)

A quick and easy find.
Great views from here.
No muggles while we were at the cache, but we saw quite a few people out walking on our way back down the hill.
Thanks.

Nice viewing point! This is probably my most eastern cache ever found. Thanks for hiding!
