I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

Searched around but no luck, perhaps a visit is in order to see if it's still there

22-Mar-15
Looks like the CO should check on this one after three DNF's since last winter.

We camped at Richos for five days and during that time made several attempts to find the cache. We expanded our search and spent hours looking over the period, the results were always the same. DNF.

07-Jan-15
Looked everywhere for this sizeable container and used a stick and a torch to investigate some dark places, but couldn't find it anywhere.

13-Dec-14
Finding our way into here was our first adventure! After an extensive search and putting our hands into places we would rather not, we have to admit defeat on this one. We even checked the many bulrushes just in case in had been washed out of its hidey hole. A couple of camps set up for Christmas no doubt, but we are staying home this this year. Nice to discover another free camping spot.

31-Aug-14
Found with karia001

Attempted to find the cache while we were camped at Richardson Bend but despite and extensive search it evaded us. We were thinking that perhaps it has been muggled whilst people searched for firewood.

29-Sep-13
went up river by boat with Jacko* to get this one , high water mark was a bit high and cache was found floating was re positioned in same area in higher place

29-Sep-13
I was fairly certain i already had this one, but it was unlogged. So we came here today by boat from our campsite upstream expecting to see my name already etched in the log book, it was. Today we found the cache container floating in the nearby floodwater, we opened it to find it still nice and dry inside and returned it to a slightly higher location to try and avoid it getting washed away again.
TFTC.

Found in the dark with NickyB. Returning from spending Anzac Day with Major Tom and decided to grab a few caches on the way home. We ran out of light but undaunted we cached on. This one was quite a challenge as we had to elude muggle campers nearby. My phone rang at the critical moment and while I answered NickyB scored a find.

25-Apr-13
Drove here in the dark on ANZAC Day, dodged all the campers and found a bend in the road that matched the satellite view on google maps where we thought the cache would be, just near "two distinctive trees", at least they were distinctive in the dark. We snuck around like a couple of drug dealers - this impression was enhanced by Jaybee answering her phone while we shone the torch around looking for an old 7.62 ammo box. Bagged the cache, signed the log and scarpered into the night.

Day. 1. A geocaching weekend around Wangaratta with Albida and I, The weather was warm but I guess thats better than being wet.
ooh an ammo can nice, a bit of stuggle with Tomtom finding the way in but easy find when we got there and nice spot.

Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. All the water was in the right place and we eventually found the right combination of roads and tracks to get into this one. Great spot, I will have to add it to my bush camp spot list. Thanks.

Great spot down here. I personally have been camping here heaps of times and is great to do so if you have young kids as there are heaps of spots away from the water. We came here about 6 weeks ago and the water was much higher. So much so we couldn't get to the cache. This time it was out in the open so it must have floated out of its hidey hole. All dry inside. We placed it back to where we thought it should go. TFTC

16-Sep-12
I know this spot really well and it's a beatie. Great for camping. And if you aren't a fisho then there a heaps of spots away from the water. The river is really high and GZ was under water where the nearby soak has flooded. Try when the river is not so high.

This gets a favourite point based on the drive there alone!!! The Lost Rocket (a VT Commodore) has been many places that it probably shouldn't have been and the drive to Richo's was no exception. It hadn't rained in the last few days and the road was open so we figured "What the heck". Being the middle of winter, it was still rather damp even without very recent rain and we slipped and slid our way towards the GZ (sideways for some of the drive). We got within 20 metres of the cache and Mrs. Lost Wanderer went and made a quick find while Mr. Lost Wanderer decided if it would be better to turn around and go back the way we had come or to keep going into the unknown. We did a u-turn and tried to retrace our path. Note to selves!!! Don't try to take a short cut. It may end with a steep drop that had bogged a 4WD earlier in the day. Thanks for the cache!!!!

10-Jun-12
Finally we have an opportunity to grab this one. Other times we had been this way it was too wet to grab the cache. We were on our way back from visiting the Rutherglen Market so decided to make a quick detour. What a beautiful spot. Good to see the spot been used by many campers this long weekend. We will be back. Thanks for bringing us to this spot on such a beautiful winters day.

Camped by the river overnight and strolled over to pick this one up at 10.00 am, after breakie. No rushing for us! Great place, thank you mada1234 for giving us a reason to come. Took a toy dinosaur and left a golf ball (used) and a recipe card. Now off to the Mega, much anticipation.

What agreat area. Not far from one of ours that we did some maintenance on so while in the area we grabbed this one while the water level was down. We had attempted to do this one some time ago but the water was over the road. Found with Troobloo and Purpledreamer and replaced the log book bag as it was ripped. SL TNLN T4TC

Finally got this on after trying during its time in the mini lake that seemed to take forever to dry. TNLN. Not many campers about so nice easy find TFTC

25-Oct-11
Had to park up the top of the track and walk the 1km to the cache as I was in "Blue Bertha the Falcon" and thought I may get stuck along the track. One camper perched on the river bank but he didn't take too much notice of me walking the geodog Curly. I envied his predicament!!. Damp around GZ and found the ammo tin after a short search. The contents were dry which was surprising and good news. Lovely spot for a cache!!. SL about 4pm. TNLN. TFTC mada1234.

Yay 4th time lucky. Found at 9.20pm after driving back late from caching in the Chiltern area. The gate was open so i drove in to GZ. There where lots of campers tonight so i took care not to upset them. When i got to GZ i found the small lake had resided, i made a quick find open the cache to fine it was DRY, not bad since it had been under water. While signing log i got attacked by a million mosquitos so didn't want to stay long. After placing the cache back i drove out to the main road where i got pulled over by the boys in blue and asked "What are you doing" after i explained my movements they told me that they have been getting some trouble with people driving around and damaging the area, So please take care when driving to this cache for awhile. TFTC and the adventure Took TB to move on.

Its looking like i may have to throw the bike over the fence and pedal in there to check it out!

Drove down to have another look for this one today, found gate locked again they seem to not want people to enjoy this part of the river any more.

Gudday all,, i drove by about two weeks ago only to find a mini temporary lake were the cache is,, as soon as it looks good again ill post here.
Hope the old ammo can is as waterproof as i have hoped lol. Smile

10-Apr-11
Had a quick look round for this one. Lots of flooding about and coords were at edge of water. Farmer drove by and stopped for a chat so abandoned.

09-Apr-11
Nice area lots of people around walked around for a bit and didn't find the cache, possibly under water.

07-Nov-10
assuming we approached this correctly the road is temporarily closed due to flooding until further notice.

07-Nov-10
Gudday weathafurkawi,, they like closing off that road after rains,, think it about the third of fourth closure this year..
When i notice its opened again ill post another note here.

13-Sep-10
Well, this one took a bit longer than expected. The road in was closed due to the recent floods.

I walked/waded to the cache. Taking a "as the crow flies" route was probably not the greatest idea, I ruined the shoes I was wearing!

I've dropped off a TB I've been carrying for a while, he likes to go to hard to reach places, and this was pretty hard to reach today.

Signed the log, the cache is still in great nick, although the log bad needs replacing. I carry spare ziplocks, but unfortunately the log was just a bit to big. Can the next person who goes after this one take a ziplock that will fit an A5 notebook?

TFTC, Kieran.

Found with caughtatwork early this evening.
Ah...ammo cans. These always remind me of caching in Brisbane.
This was a nice easy find after a pleasant drive.
Hmmm..all this driving's making me hungry. I think it's dinner time. Gotta go.
Thanks mada1234 for the cache.

27-Mar-10
This is a place I would camp but in between school holidays as there were heaps of people setting up & busily cutting fallen timber with chainsaws. One ute looked as though it was ready to burst. Drove down the track only to be followed by a 2WD so pulled up & they turned around & left. Well. A quick find & a decent sized cache, thanks.

It was just as well we didn't try to provide directions to the muggle for this place (see Poplar Pub Log entry) as the GPS had us to a wide area drunken bee dance as it tried to take us down roads that no longer provide access to the river. In the end we followed the river access signs to find GZ.
Easy find by geoD - Again! Lots of muggles camping in the area on New Years Day fortunately not near GZ.

Hello there,,,,The reserve is still closed to vehicular traffic, not sure how much longer due to all the rains we have had here recently.
I pass by here at least every three days, as soon as it is opened again i will post another note here. Mada1234...

Please advise if TSR is open or not.

26-Jul-09
After periods of heavy rain almost all T.S.R's and reserves are subject to temporary and seasonal road closures.
This is done to protect the tracks, flora, faunae and also people!
The closure is usually only in place for a couple of weeks after the rain.
As soon as i notice the road closure sign has been removed and the reserve opened i will post another note here,,, Mada1234.

Easy enough to find the access roads to the area, but after recent rains I was starting to worry that I may have been pushing my luck. As it turned out it wasnt really too much drama for the trusty little buzzbox, but I may have just been lucky.
A great hide, I love ammo cans!

Took a while to find this one, was very well hidden. After 15 mins, bang, there it was. Can see how i missed it at first. 4 x swaps and took the TB. Another very nice camping area. Thanks.

If only geocaching was around while I still lived in the area! I'd have known where all the good camping spots were. This place was lovely and included a very friendly kelpie who belonged to someone nearby. We didn't see him but heard him whislte his dog back.

On the way back from a job, had the co-ords and the time. Looks like a great place for the week end camp. We can see that this would be popular as a camping location or just a place for a day visit. Luckily today the place was deserted except for one caravan which was along, long way from gz.
The GPSr led us directly to the cache location for a nice easy find

Found at 12.40pm GAFF1. Now this is more like it! We love caches in places that we would not ever have known about and also that are so beautiful. While we were getting to GZ, we chatted with a bloke who was camped there and he just loved the place. We then went over to speak to a man with his young daughter who were fishing on the bank and just then their flimsy (pink!) fishing rod just took off! The dad quickly retrieved it and after 5 minutes showing the daughter what to do, they had a huge 3 kilo carp on the bank. Great spot. Thanks mada1234 - we will definitely keep this place in mind for he future.

We were in the area for a weekend trek & I had to put my 4wd in for repairs so I joined up with Fred again for a bit of bush driving. We found all the right tracks and accoring to Mrs Fred they were 'jumpy up and down roads'. Nice reserve and a good location for GZ.
Thanks mada for a nice easy one,

This one has been bugging me for a while. We had not been in the area to do this one. So it got the better of me today. I hope on the trail bike and headed off.
After riding through the gate, with the GPS mounted on the handle bars, I made a bee line straight to the cache. No tracks where I was riding. Had some fun doing some air born stuff through the dips and creek. The cattle at the WTF look on their face as I speed past.Surprised
I've been here many times before fishing etc, its a nice spot.

found this one after a bit of tracking around the bush. We decided to take the little car rather than 4x4 this meant that we were limited. Interesting cache however some of the content was a bit disturbing not quite fit for a cache especially when there could be questions about how these items were obtained. signed log left bubbles.

Thanks Mazda

1st cache for the day and quite a good one!!!
Nice calm morning and quite a few campers getting round the area. may consider camping here ourselves one day

Poor old TomTom was a little confused heading towards GZ, in the end I just had to assume that the road I was on would get me there. Once I entered the reserve I found a number of campers enjoying the Easter break, my aopologies to those who were down wind from my dust. The cache was found quickly and out of site of any campers fortunately. Please be aware that sharps and other dangerous items are not permitted in geocaches.

Thanks for showing me this beautiful location,

Found at 1850. After spending three days caching in Ballarat, came home to a nice surprise of a new listing by Wodonga's newest cacher. Had never been to this area before, nor had I heard of it's name. There were a couple of tents nearby in which I thought might pose a problem, but as it was GZ was a good 100m away with enough tree cover in between. The trade items were interesting, although I'm not sure all of them belong in a cache. Great location for a cache mada.

I have heard a fair bit about this reserve over the past few years but have never actually been to it.
The cache was easy enough to find, and only a caravan camp set up around 150 mteres away was the only concern I had, but even then, there was no one around. Maybe it was too hot and they were in the river.
I can see this area is going to be very popular over the Easter weekend.

Picked up Polish GC to move on, didn`t make any other swaps as I didn`t have any on me. SL @ 1545, and managed to beat Marcus Vitruvius to a FTF RazzSmile.

Cheers.
