After solving the puzzle and learning more about these critters, I went to gz in the hope to make the find. Lovely walk on a beautiful day but the cache proved elusive. I did as the hint suggested not sure whether it means the 7th step from top or bottom but after trying the top first and not coming up with anything I counted 7 steps from the bottom where I indeed had gz with 2m discrepancy but I could not find anything. Hopefully better luck next time.
thanks urch.

Originally found under family caching name clan-wallace, now re logging under own name.
Well, it's been a long time since you saw the light of day & yet you are in remarkably good condition. & just where you should be. I really enjoyed this puzzle & cracked it quite quickly except for one insy winsy little mistake. A lovely walk on the beach on this lovely sunny afternoon. TFTC & a puzzle I can actually do!
Even with the finals for this one sorted out, I struggled at GZ and the coords I had on hand, put me 12-15m from actual GZ... Hmm... I also remembered that the hint was buried in the checker and I was going freelance on the find... [V[
I scratched around for a while and never found the container, but the sunset at GZ provided more than enough compensation... After failing in my bid, I called previous finder who was quick to point out I was in the wrong place... What the.. [?]
A slight correction and I started a fresh search, but it took a few minutes to spot the container... When I pulled it out from its den, I wondered how I could have missed it on a couple of previous passes...
Anyway, with cache in hand, I etched my name in the log and was very pleased to have this one ticked off. Cache back in place, I took an alternate route back to the car and headed for the next.
Cheers urch.

Under much sufferance I dragged muggle partner up this way again this week to be my driver
On the way decided may as well do this one first. A quick walk to gz had cache in hand quickly as spotted by partner
Which was lucky as just back on the track we came across a few cyclists that decided to stop while one instructed them how to ride down a hill.
A dolphin was spotted in the distance
I really shocked myself as I know it was a simple puzzle but I can't even manage simple ones normally so it must have been the 11pm work on it

We were heading this way to do some caching and looked at this puzzle. I soon had some coordinates and fortunately they were spot on . A neat little cache in a cool location. TFTC urch
Geohubby is on a roll solving puzzles and he solved this one yesterday so back down this way again to find it. Nice walk to GZ even though i did do it the hard way (as usual). Found the cache quickly TFTC urch
Found with a bit of help from our friends and a lovely walk along the beach side with the Gypsy.

With a bit of help, solved the puzzle. Nice stroll to the cache with 1Qseeker. Ground zero spot on. TFTC Urch.
Out for a day of caching with my family... Mum & Dad were talking about snakes, not sure why but anyhow we found the cache! Thanks Urch
This puzzle was solved late last year with no difficulties, I don't think I even needed my computer to come up with some co-ords Today we added it to the list of caches to-do!! Once at GZ we began searching on the wrong side, then after searching the right spot I didn't come up with a cache! Lucky Jase followed my footsteps and found something I missed
TFTC urch! A beautiful spot and a nice puzzle too

TFTC and puzzle (hooray an Urch puzzle geomum could solve ). Great spot and view.
Found after the WWFM IX event with duncdonut73, bsurin65 and trevkevred. Since I don't like logging puzzles I havent actually solved myself, I spent some time yesterday (then my power went off grrrrrrrr) and this afternoon after work to finished the puzzle. After putting my coordinates into Google earth I was very happy with my efforts and can log this as a find now
Thanks for an interesting puzzle Mrs urch, I might have nightmares tonight though!

Only just logged today although I found with Bsurin65, dunkdonut73 and Me&B. Hadn't solved the puzzle so yesterday with help from my son son it was solved. I spotted it but left it to Bsurin65 to retrieve it with his stick. TFTpuzzle and the hide.
Found yesterday with duncdonut73 and some other cachers after the WWFM event. Dunc had solved the puzzle previoulsly, and led us to the GZ. But I wanted to solve it for myself before logging the find. Surprisingly, I didn't need much research to solve it, and seemed to know most of the names required. Thanks for the fun puzzle and cache.
Easily solved quite a few months, maybe even a year or so ago. Came along with a few others for the find, and the terrain wasn't nearly as snake infested as I'd imagined... TFTC!
Not a fan of the slithery creatures (guess not many are!). Great view from GZ and brilliant description prevented the need to venture too far into slithery territory. Thanks for the cache urch.
Solved this one a long time ago so was happy to finally have the opportunity to log this one....thanks again urch
Solved this one a while ago, but only went in search of it today, between rain squalls, but not many muggles around. Good hide. Thanks.
Had recently solved this puzzle again after loosing the original solution some time ago so called in today to find the cache. No problems once I read the listing right.
Thanks urch for the puzzle and cache.
Thanks urch for the puzzle and cache.
I had solved this urch puzzle a while ago, but did not come down due to the logs indicating that the cache was not there. Today was different, urch has done maintenance, and cache was back in location. I found a nearby parking location and took the short 300 metre walk to the final location, the destription made sense, so it counted steps, but then had to wait until several muggle families wandered out of site. The cache was quickly found, the log signed. The celebration to be commenced, this cache marks my 1300 GC find.
Thanks urch for the puzzle, the challenge and the cache

We first looked for this in late March with no luck as it seems it had been mugged. Thanks to Urch for replacing the cache and we finally got back to this beautiful spot today. A fantastic walk along the coast on a sunny winters day.
TFTC Urch.

Yayz! Found by geogirl "Landog" when all hope was lost. Beautiful spot by the sea. Enjoyed the stroll. Had to wait out a few muggles. Swapped keyrings. Thanx for the pathtag and TFTH.
Visited to check on cache's whereabouts and couldn't find it. Have replaced it with a new cache and left my pathtag.
Hmm. Spent a good 20 minutes looking for this one. There has been some recent pruning of the growth along the seaside of the path which may have expose the cache??
A nice walk along the coast though.

Solved the puzzle and went to co ordinates but didn't find anything. Found something that may have been used to disguise it.....
No snakes. Nothing - Zip. Not even a hiss. Lovely walk along the top track in. Clear skies too.

Needed some help to identify all the snakes. Was with my son today in Mandurah and we stopped and logged this immediately. Nice container .
Thanks urch for the cache and see you soon.

That was a really fun mystery cache!! Not too obscure and solved relatively quickly. Followed by a great casual walk. Thanks heaps. Wish more mystery caches were like this. Cheers. TNLN TFTH
Found it after a bit of a search. TN Left alien key ring. Nice walk with great views.
A nice walk on a sunny winter's day, found with Vintage44, and geokids after a quick look around. TFTC
Wow this spot was beautiful! Could have stayed here forever except for the fact it was getting cold. Hope you put some more around here
Nice puzzle which did not give me sleepless nights. What a lovely beach. A new spot for us. Took TB and one of the two Pathtags 2680065. Put in boomerang.TFTC. I am liking all the cache containers.
Back again today and found both caches - the original cache had suffered considerable 'cache creep' , the lid had deteriorated, and contents were RS. Restocked the replacement cache with some pathtags (please only take ONE when visiting) and a TB.
Please DO NOT stray from official pathway to find the cache - these sand dunes are very fragile.

Found the cache OK, I was surprised to see a rat looking at me through the undergrowth, but overcame that problem.
The cache and the log book were looking good, nice and dry!
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Well - this is another mystery - a wet log book becomes dry... I have had suspicions that there might be 2 caches here - one that I thought was muggled - but probably not, and then its replacement. Will have to do a good search.
A nice quick find after had a lovely walk from the car park. Lots of people with their dogs walked on the path at sunset. Unforuntately the cache was full of water and unable to sign on the waterlogged log book. Poured the water out of the container. Need to replace the new log book and others. I didn't bring my "repair" kit with me. Thanks for bringing me to the lovely coastal view and the cache.
I am glad that your co-ords are spot on otherwise I may have searched for a while. Thanks for the long walk to the cache, I think!!

At last! An Urch puzzle that could be solved without major brain stress. So resident snake expert geo-son did the honours.
Swapped collector's pin from Alaska with a pin from British Columbia. Thanks Urch.

Found with nikitak. Solved this riddle last september. My coords must have been just a touch off, because we needed the description to actually get close (thanks for that!). Love these series of cache containers.
Left a travel bug. Thanks for the hunt and the lovely walk through this beautiful area (sometimes I forget how lovely Mandurah is).

Found this cache which was well hidden and in a very nice location - we had friends from Adelaide with us that we were showing around and were pleased to be able to do the cache on this occasion. Thanks urch TNLN
Finally got around to checking this one out and found it has gone AWOL.
Took replacement with me just in case and left that instead. It is now a small cache only, and the cache critter is not true to the 'theme' but is all I had on hand at the time.
Please note an updated hint to avoid any bush damage in this regenerating area of the sand dunes.

stood on sixth, seventh and eighth steps and sarched both sides for 15 to 20 minutes but came up empty handed
Lovely spot for a search. Stood on the seventh and searched and searched and searched. Disturbed some wasps but no luck with the cache. Some other day.

We are very happy to be able to log a find for an Urch puzzle cache, even if it is one of her easier ones. Thanx Urch.
My first Mystery Cache.
My friend found it and he helped me with the puzzle as I get stumped at these things pretty quickly.
We got at the spot quickly after a walk along the beach and found it quite easily. I thought it would be hidden a little better.

A nice easy code this time. A good easy hunt as well though I had a bit of a scare when I saw the Cache. The big bonus was seeing a pod of dolphins while we logged the cache.

Second urch cache of the day and we were vaguely hopeful of another FTF but it wasn't to be. Co-ords were spot on which was useful because we had forgotten that there was a hint. It's a nice area and was totally muggle-free probably due to the rain.
Dropped gowithblue lock TB.
Thanks urch for an interesting puzzle and the cache.

Woo FTF I had a lot of fun working out the coords for this one. The actual cache took me a little while to find, but thanks to the hint I spotted it eventually.
I think I put the 27th on all my logs today, oops, must be weekend brain.
I took out the Alaska coin, and the FTF prize - not a winner today, but thanks Urch for the cache, the puzzle and the prize.
