Archived as we haven't had time to check it. We might do a similar one closer in to Ballarat.

Disabling this one until we can check it.

GPS had us at a stump which would have made a good hide, but no signs. Looked all around, no luck! Maybe worth a visit and check by the owner since last find was almost 12 months ago. cloudglider

Friday the 13th May, cold, wet but the Cloud Glider and the ageing Bushfire decided to add a few more smilies to our profiles in this part of the state.

Well no smiley at this lovely part of the bush today. We like others were concentrating on the very old large tree stump and searched out in ever increasing circles but to no avail.

It may be that it is down a hole or under something but a ammo can takes some skill in hiding so I will put a watch on this guy to see what happens. Not quite sure what the hint means?

I couldn't find this cache, GZ isn't overgrown so I had a pretty good look around, nothing found at the base of any trees. My GPS kept taking me back to one obvious looking big stump with a big gap inside, however no ammo can in there either. It's been a year since it was last found, hopefully it's there the next time someone ventures out to find this one.

This was found in a great spot. Nice views north to Mount Buninyong. Great cache with heaps of good teddy bear treasures. Thanks.

No Teddy Bears picnicing today, but the cache was found quickly and the appropriate logs entered for sully1 and myself on our caching day out. TFTC

Great to see a still well stocked cache, with some lovely goodies, although none were traded today. A relatively quick easy find on a day out with micaparamedic.TNLNSL. Our Thanks to whitejaegar.

26-Mar-10
No teddy bears out today. Maybe they were all off sheltering from the rain that was starting to fall as I made my way to the cache. I approached this cache through the bush from a couple of others to the west and had no idea where I was or how I got there. A nice area of forest that I haven't visited previously and a great cache well stocked with teddys of all sorts. Many thanks for the journey, Whitejaegar.

Was a bit unnerving as we were signing the log- CRACK- a rifle had been fired close enough there wasn't an echo. 6 bullets later the cache had been replaced as found and we were back in the geomobile hightailing it out of there!!!

This was cache # 12 on a day out caching round Ballarat with Biggles Bear. While I was concentrating on where my GPS was pointing and looking ahead, I walked right past it. BB #2 (without a GPS) looked behind her and there it was. Thanks to whitejaegar for the cache.

We found our 8th Whitejaeger cache at 2:00pm as the 18th of 40 on our Ballaratatattat Tour V in company of Backpaqer. We were never looking at coming this far south today but there is always just one more cache just a little further along. A pretty spot and we stopped a little longer afterwards for lunch. We exited towards the west and I was surprised to see just how good all the roads are out here, even being so late into winter. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.

3rd of 3 for the late "Lets give Mum a Break" arvo!
This one was a case of "Do I risk the 2wd or shall I walk the 280m to the cache.
Makes the case for a 4wd alot stronger!! I had to stop at two giant wheel ruts at the base of a hill, and decided to walk the way in rather than having to call in a tow!!
Nice sized can, and a wonderful themed idea!! The view from the track looking away from the cache is really quite beautiful!!
T: Ouch L:micro cache with log, lanyard and toy.SL. Find # 470. 5.45pm.
Thanks

We used TomTom to guide us from Harrisons cache to here. We saw lots of kangaroos on the way in on what proved to be a delightful Sunday morning drive.

No swaps today, but there was plenty of swaps to be had, and the ammo box was doing a great job of keeping everything dry.

The cache was very exposed. I think the recent winds may have blown the cover off, so it was quickly spotted, so we covered it up before we left.

TFTC.

A nice spot in the middle of nowhere with a nice big cache too. I took the racing geocoin as it wasn't going to get anywhere in here! Thanks whitejaeger.

Found today while touring south of Ballarat. A lovely spot for a picnic. We swapped a bear for a bear and also gave the occupants a little afternoon tea. We also left a geocoin and took the bear TB Thanks for an enjoyable cache that you have obviously put a lot of effort into. I hope its theme remains. SL TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1435. Delighted that you included the words. As our youngest is nearly 30, it's been a long time since mary sang that one. Good to be able to practice now before the Seattle grandchildren visit in December. A lovely bush setting and we loved the camo too. Dropped off 'Taylor Teddy Bug' TB to meet the inhabitants. Our thanks again to whitejaegar.

A nice drive to this one and we parked about 50m away.
Just when we were about to uncover the cache we noticed a tractor not 30m away. It was empty but it shows that even in remotish areas you can never be too careful of muggles.
what a huge ammo tin and it took a while to recover again too.
Thanks white jaeger.

Found by McAdies.
Someone had been grading the road in and the ute was covered in a thick coating of dust. Lucky we were planning to wash it next weekend!
Found the cache easily but we had forgot to bring swaps. I wasn't very popular! We may have to come out again in the future with a swap i think!
Thanks Whitejaegar

Navigated to this one in the 2wd on the way home from work, had to apply a bit of stealth as a farmers ute was parked in a nearby paddock.
T- Honey Bear
L- Pez Piggy.

Another well stocked Cache Whitejaeger.

Thanks.

I got up early this morning to get a drink of water and checked the emails while I was up (isn't that what everyone does). MrsFJ1 was disappointed at missing out on the previous FTF's while she’s at work, so I got her out of bed along with geoDy and we headed off while it was still dark.

We got to the turning GZ and took the first track to the right, which ended up being a 4WD track with a fallen tree across the track. Lucky we where in the cruiser. On the way out we discovered that we should have taken the next track, which was much easier to see when the sun was up.

Parked within 19m and found a very well stocked cache at 6:55AM. A lot of effort has gone into this one. Well-done whitejaegar.
Thanks for the laminated, artistic FTF certificate Big Grin.
It’s a shame I don’t have the other geoGirls this weekend, they would of love the swaps; not that I could of got them out of bed that early anyway.

MrsFJ1 T: love hart teddy
L: 4 pack of AA batteries (for any teddy’s requiring batteries)

Thanks whitejaegar for the great cache Cool

A very well stocked cache greeted us at GZ when TomTom (Deano's new toy) navigated us to within 20 metres of the cache.
A very hot afternoon, so unfortunately we didn't stay at GZ long enough for a picnic. (Troy forgot his teddy bear and tea set too Wink )
In : Double Adapter
Out : Batteries

A great effort Whitejaegar, that the Kids will love.
