On Holidays At Caloundra last day cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) so we decided to target some oldies aswell as many other caches as we can. Got to GZ and thought i was in the right place, which technically i was just not over far enough. Thought we had found it but turned out to be one of those yellow containers, so we quickly put it nicely aside to be disposed of properly.TFTC Konie

Last day of our break away in the Sunshine Coast. Our aim is to get some oldies to perhaps qualify for some challenges. My caching buddy found one of those yellow containers here. Now nicely put aside for proper disposal. What a place for it to be.Cache now found and signed. TFTCache Konie
Out for the day with smallwombat and campari59 as we had a driver, we picked places a little hard to get to by bike.First cache of the day was this one. To bring us to a magical spot deserves a heart. We all saw different 'v' s. I was standing beside gz as I started going back over previous logs, whilst the other two were looking intently at their V. Suddenly smallwombat veers over towards me and we hear the words 'foundit'. So with names etched in, we made our way back to the geocar. Tftc
Thank you for placing it here. Took us to a very peacefully spot. Plenty of bird life and a easy short walk.
Another find for the day whilst exploring the Sunshine coast hinterland. I parked up in Cardinal Ct and strolled over to GZ down the lovely forest trail. Here I brushed over the hiding spot at first but after coming back around, I was surprised that I missed it! Thanks for the cache Konie!
Nice spot. Got out of there before the mozzies could carry me away. Thanks for the cache Konie
Exploring our local caches in the area after moving to Eudlo. This one took a little longer than expected with part of the tree starting to decompose however the clue continued to point us in the right direction and had to pull big chunks off and dig for the cache for a bit. We did have some big storms come through recently so that may be the cause. Anyway mozzies were giant!! Thanks for the cache
This was our fourth visit to Eudlo, but first visit to this hide. We found the entrance that allowed us to drive within metres of GZ. tftc
What a beautiful rainforest. The train went past while I was there. Quick find, thanks for the hide!
A short, peaceful and very lovely walk into GZ. Lovely sclerophyll forest around here.
We had initially approached this one from the wrong side of the line, and then realised that Queensland rail really did not want us to cross the tracks!
A different approach and it was much more peaceful and beautiful.
Log signed.
Thanks Konie

Konie I found your cache EUDLO on 9/7/2022, 3:20 pm. This is my find 3716 and find # 4 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This beautiful spot deserves more finders. I parked at Cardinal Ct but a 4wd could go right to it. TftC.
Met up with grannysmith1947 for a day out caching in this picturesque district.
Found a good little spot to park and it was a very pleasant walk in to find this oldist cache in good condition. Thanks CO for keeping this one going strong.

Love a dirt road and a decent sized container in good condition! Very pretty spot. Dropped a TB. TFTC Konie
After parking in an out of the way spot, we walked towards the cache and found first a pile of rubbish. As we passed it I realised what some of the things were, they don't look like rubbish someone would dump actually.
A quick google of the name on the paperwork and we realised it was the dumpings from a stolen car. Eventually we realised he knew a cacher and sorted out for him to get his items back. He had the car recovered earlier.
The cache was nicely tucked away in it's hiding spot.

Wombles and co and I were on our Wacky Wednesday out and about on some Sunny Coast rounds today, and as we were missing our other partner in crime, NyssaFlutterby, we decided to target caches she had done and we hadn’t.
Well this cache ended up being quite interesting. We headed down the 4WD track and as we were reaching the end, we saw what looked like rubbish strewn everywhere. Turning the car around at the end and parking, we wandered back towards the cache. And as it turns out, we found some poor guys belongings that had been stolen from his car. So after finding the cache, we gathered the personal effects together, and with the wonders of modern technology, managed to notify the owner, but also discovered he was friends with a Sunny Coast cacher we knew, so sent a pm to him to make sure this person got the message. And said cacher messages back to tell us the owner of the belongings was currently with him!
Thanks for the cache Konie. It’s amazing what comes of caching some days!

This one has been on our radar for a while. We knew we couldn't access the track via our vehicle and did not know how long a walk it would be, so have always driven by once in the area. Today we parked on the opposite side of the road down a side road and made the walk into the forest. Happy to report it was indeed a short walk and after some going in circles at GZ soon spotted something that matched the clue and bingo there she was.
I have been working in the area so decided to grab a cache on my way home. This one looked like a likely candidate.
Walked in and after going around in circles until the GPS settled down, I soon had the cache in hand.

We read about recent Owner maintenance, stopped here and walked in. Nice area but someone is using it as refuse tip for green waste. Unbelievable!

An early morning visit to GZ and it would appear that the original container has been buried or taken.
Cache replaced with a 350ml PVC tube. Checked coords with the GPS sitting on top of the log and it was down to 1m with 5mtr accuracy under the trees.
Hint added.

Me DNF's are outnumbering finds some days
Here was another one to add to me list.
A DNF in this bit of forest !!
Looks like a serial garden waste dumper has taken over this place !!
And what looked like a cache,
was actually a container of chemical waste !! [:o]
No cache found after a search around
PS: If you see a black container with a red lid that is hard to remove.
It ain't the cache .. it's full of some sort of white granules that are probably acidic !!

I was in back in the area today with Jfindit and thought we would give this one another go using his gps and my phone....we only found the replacement cache despite a through search, once again we like coming to eudlo and this national Park and this time I drove up to the gz with no problems tftc

Tuesday. Wanting to grab this cache as we were in the area, we found a road into GZ. Luke was feeling daring today and decided that the car was dirty enough already from driving through mud earlier. There was even a turning around spot! (If you consider a 13 point turn to be 'turning around'...) GZ said we were right on the cache, but I’ve found lately that my phone GPS is actually always about 10m out, so we expanded our search to several other spots and used a stick to dig into everything we could find… I’m not brave enough to stick my hand into anything [xx(] We saw a spot where a snake had passed away and there was only a skeleton left! I poked the skeleton, not sure why but it was very intriguing! In the end, we PAFd a previous finder and sent a pic. Yep, we were in the right area.
We went off and tried to find another cache or two and then received a phone call from the CO. Argh… Seems this cache is often subject to ‘re-locache’. Why….. [:(!] So we went back to the area and widened our search even more… nope – nothing. With approval, we left a small cache container in place for the meantime which will be replaced by the CO (if the original cache container is not found!!) I sincerely hope it wasn’t a case of cache blindness, but we poked every spot we could find on both sides of the track. We even did a small CITO . A huge thank you to the CO for contacting us and allowing us to claim a smiley on this cache. Hopefully the next container won’t be relocated to a ‘better’ spot.
This was the 5th of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Konie***, for showing us this place.

Disappointed in myself that I didn’t find the cache despite some ideas from the CO, but I will be back with another set of eyes soon , loved the little walk in to the area
After 2 DNF’s I finally found this well placed but easy to find cache! Took my prize of some sweet gardening gloves and replaced them with a bobble-head Woodstock aka snoopy’s yellow feathered friend!
Awesome GZ! Thank you!
Awesome GZ! Thank you!
Nice little walk. Glad I didn't have a 4WD as I think the track would have been a little bit testing today after the rain. The GPS wanted me to go another 12metres but for once my caching instinct were correct - doesn't seem to happen all that often. This would have to contain easily the best supply of swaps of any cache that I have found. TFTC Konie - yet again. A FP not so much for this cache but for your total supply of caches.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, Today we headed out to chase down another Dragon. Of course we couldn't just stop at 1 cache.
Good fun & sneaky caches we found today. We love ammo cans. Nice area to visit shame some pest has dumped a heap of rubbish next to the track.

I wanted to leave Eevee here but it was rather damp. What a pity about the rubbish dumped here!
After the recent heavy rains from ex-TC Debbie shelved my plans for a trip South due to extensive flooding, a visit to the hinterland seemed a better option. Today's trip took me through Landsborough, Moololah Valley, Woombye, Eudlo, Palmwoods and points in between picking up solved puzzles and a variety of other caches.
Decided to drive down as close as possible to this one but the recent floods have smashed the sleepers apart at the creek crossing so I walked the rest of the way.
An easy find at GZ, a cute mushroom was growing inside the same log. Thanks **Konie** for bringing us here, this find makes #3510. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Out and about by myself this morning meandering through the Moolloolah Eudlo districts with the intent to clean up a few more cache I've yet to find. Nice littlle drive, Shame about the rubbish strewn around the cache site, Makes you wonder about the human species.
Thanks for the great cache and adventure Konie

Defiantly wear enclosed shoes for this one! & Watch out for big huntsman spiders! BF loved the 4wD track. Short but fun
Found this one this morning after driving through the area. It was a nice little walk to gz but unfortunately people have dumped a lot of rubbish here. The cache itself is in good condition and hidden well and nice and dry. TFTC
I had solved a bunch of new puzzles in the area last week. I knew I was heading up to Noosa for the weekend and maybe I would have time to hunt for them on the way there or back.
My plans for Saturday changed with the offer of a paddle on the Noosa River, so the hunting was left to the trip home. My chosen route took me right by this one. There was nothing else in the area for me to come back and hunt, so I decided to stop and try for this one.
I parked the little lancer in the street across the road. The track looked a bit washed out to drive. Not too far a walk and I was at GZ.
A quick hunt and I found the cache.

We thought we would have a go at this one as it hasn't been logged for awhile. Found the dumping ground
Beautiful spot. ...shame about the dumping. Didn't risk bringing the bongo van down the track but was a nice pleasant walk in. R2D2 has been picked up and is going to head west. Left Eifel Tower keyring and eraser.
Lovely lil walk to gz. Getting to explore this gorgeous town of ours through this game. Shame some filthy grots have used the track as a dumping ground. Thanks for the hunt
Didn't even attempt to drive to gz for this one.. even though Courtney the Commodore does like to go off road she refused this drive... so I set off on foot with the drizzly rain.. it was a lovely pleasant walk, such a shame about all the rubbish dumped here it is such a beautiful spot..
I grabbed the spoon and left a necklace.. I also left R2D2.

We haven't been caching for a couple of weeks, so we headed out today in perfect weather. This was our second attempt at this cache and both last time and this time our car navigator took us to the wrong side of the railway line. After finally working out where we should be, we drove back right to where we had driven past earlier. We parked and had a nice walk in towards GZ. Such a shame about the rubbish dumped around the place. Once at GZ we made a quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
Found. Area is also used as a dumping ground. Dropped tb, hopefully making it a slightly 'happier' place. Took tb.
Hmmmm, dead animal carcass didn't enhance this find :/ Great hide, pity people use this as a garbage dump!
Rain about today, but we still headed out to grab a few caches in nearby towns.
Took the geo-cruiser down the track, and parked with 10m of the cache.
Good to find a big container in the bush. The listed trackable was not in the cache,
so we added one. Cache is in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Konie, for us and others to find.

After scoring an ftf and finding another cache I was unable to tick this one off the list. Found the gz, found a whole heap of illegally dumped rubbish but no cache.
Great early morning find. Pity people see for to use this spot as a personal tip. TFTC.
The first time we attempted this cache, it was dusk. we came back earlier this time, found it easily.
we live in Eudlo and drive past here all the time! as the sun was going down geo kid and I went to find. were in the right area I am sure, but by then the light was too far gone and we forgot to bring torch! will be back again soon.
the only thing we brought home was two leeches. a new experience for geokid, I am sure there will be plenty more of those!

Although we drive past here regularly, this little track was completely unknown to most of the family - it's a bit yuck with all the rubbish, but the cache was still a nice, simple find.
I was driving by and noticed no-one had visited this area in a while. I was due to afternoon tea so thought no better way to spend it then caching. Followed the the path and then found my favorite cache container type in great condition. Nice little hide! TFTC TNLNSL

Enjoyed the walk into this lovely forest! Once the compass said to head in to the bush we used our geosense to check a likely spot. Woohoo! Found it! Tftc Konie!
I had to take EM (kid #2) out to Eudlo for a practice, and while she practiced I hunted for this cache. Nice walk, but no success. The GPS was everywhere. The description said that Id know where it was when I got close... And that was my problem: I couldn't get close. Lovely place though. Hope to be back.
This one had us a bit tricked, the compass had us going to a different spot. Lucky the goat was there to help us!
#121 @ 11:45am found olech1's goat and have left it tied up to fallen tree. If anyone comes before olech1 collects his goat please feed. ~ TFTC Konie
After falling victem to a nail through the foot curtesy of some trash while the GPS bounced about...yeah OW!!!! [:(!] , quick hunt about uncovered the goods. Was a bit too exposed so rehid it a bit better.

Visited here as part of our MEG#4 assault on the Sunshine Coast with Crew153, Swellerfungus, and Beeline_01. We headed down the path into a beautiful bushland. The burnt old car next to the path yielded a few comments. Congratulations to Beeline_01 for making the find. Gotta love ammo tins. TFTC Konie
