Think this one needs to be disabled till confirmation of the cacheowner...Really not there
No cache here for me today despite the explicit hint. Either very well hidden or I'm stupid or it's gone - gotta be one of those three
Stopped and had lunch here on the stone wall and watched the cars go by. Great little reserve. How did you discover it?
For the next visitor, we suggest you bring a wee rubbish bag. The bottom of the cache is full of squidgy stuff

I arrived just after a sleet and rain storm, so it was a very wet trip to the cache. I didn't hang around as I still had the Lewis Pass to cross.
Stopped at this place so many times over many years, even stopped here when i drove bus tours and did not know of this track.Very nice.TFTC
Was good to get off the lewis. I do enjoy the excitement of the snow and grit on the road but the wind was blowing trees all over the road. Thanks heaps for the cache =)
I think that this is the very first time I've actually stopped in Springs Junction. I approached from the wrong side and ended up wading across the water.
Interesting path. We wondered as to it's original purpose! Think the smell is from the fryer at the cafe.
Still some odour. "Wasn't me" I declared to Mporokosa. Easy find but it was not visible (as noted a few days ago). TFTC
Thought maybe Chocochunk had had too many onions on his sausage (freebie from Driver Reviver campaign), but it was just the area, thankfully as we still had many hours' driving ahead. Great little private area.
After a quick break in the tearooms we picked this cache up quickly and freed a couple of the trapped.

Took about 30 minutes to find but what a lovely wee spot. I have been stopping at this spot for the past 35 years and never knew that lovely wee path was even there!!! Thank you for taking us there! GPS was doing weird things, set us off on the right path and then spin us around in another direction! Perservered and got there in the end. Cache is safe and dry. Enjoyed a delicious double scoop lime and chocolate ice-cream during the search. Couldn't stand still for too long as the sandflies were starving today!
Could not find this cache last year, but no problem this time. A good stop for coffee and petrol. TFTC
Interesting hunt using the phone. It seems to get confused, then when you guess the right direction it drops to 2-3m as if to say "yeah, I knew it was here". Thanks.
A quick find by wee dude whilst taking a walk to stretch the legs. Nice wee path.
The hint was needed to help find this and it was then a quick find. SL. TFTC.
30/12/10 12:17 PM Find #236 - I've been wanting to get this one for ages! A peaceful place on a busy road today. TFTC.
Lovely spot for a cache but we did not stay around for too long- it't still raining! Cache is dry .TFTC
A quick stroll during a lunch stop added this one to today's haul. Thanks for taking me to the small reserve I didn't know existed even though I'd stopped here many times over the years.
A bit of civilization in the middle of inland forests. Took a break in driving, and retrieved the cache.
after filling the car with gas we went here, lovely short walk did try the wrong tree first but them I saw the box thankx
On the way through to tramp around Lake Christabel. Stopped briefly, found the cache and took a TB. TFTC
Easy find, only had 15mins stop over on bus to Westport, and still had time for sandwich TFTC
Nice quick find in the rain thank goodness as was on a bus and only there for 15 minutes

Could not find this cache as my GPS gave false readings because of surrounding trees. Shall try again some other time.
Another place we have often stopped at but not explored. What a delightful place. Amazed at the amount of work put into the area to make it so pleasant.
