I like others could not find it, maybe the owner could check it out and we will know for sure. I will put a watch on it.
this cache is missing.. the council have been doing some work there.i found half of it but the rest was missing
Found by geoD after searching both the high and low roads. Be careful when opening as contents may or may not end up a long way down!

Doubled back from the nearby Eureka caches, although I was originally looking in the wrong spot, the hint set me right! TFTC for another find while visiting Ballarat from Adelaide.

I have no idea why we didn't find this the last time we were here, maybe because I was worried about my kitties in the car, no idea.
Today was an very easy find in the first place I looked. Positive we looked here the last time.
No matters, finally turned the frown upside down.
Thanks fozzy778 for the cache.

Attempted to look for this on the way back to Melbourne after staying for the weekend in Ballarat.
Spent around 10 mins looking, and even after using the hint, decided to abandon this search as I had cats in carry cages left in a mostly full sun car.
Decided it wasn't such a fantastic idea to leave them inside a car that was starting to heat up. I promise I didn't go to the pokies!
Will need to come back again sometime to search again.
Thanks fozzy778 for the cache.

As it turns out, this was the last cache Dvixen, Xtumech, Gabbadabbadoo and I found on our Victoria Roadtrip
Still, it's a neat example of the old style of bridges. It would have been a tough find without the clue. Dvixen was ready to head underneath, but I held out for up top, and she went with that and found the cache.

I was being dumb at this cache. I thought that the hint meant we would have to get under the bridge and look up. Redtag found the cache and laughed at me for thinking we would have to get under the bridge. Then she opened the cache and managed to flick the log sheet over the bridge... and she had to go under the bridge to retireve the sheet. I'm counting that as a win for me.

This cache is in a good hiding spot, and it is easy to get even while there are muggles around. You can just pretend to be a bit of a train-spotter. You only need to pretend too because we all know that none of us are that geeky! Signed log, thanks for the trains and the cache.

Even though it was drizzling, the five of us went chasing after the bunny trail cache. Seemed like a nice trail down below. Too bad about the weather, but most of us enjoyed caching in Ballarat nonetheless. Thanks fozzy778.
this little bunny followed the trail to have a quick grab walking up to the area you wouldnt have thought that there was anyware to hide something nice job.
An easy find and an interesting storyboard nearby. Now I've been to both ends of the line. SL TFTC 16 of 20 for the day.
The hint had Mr O and JO08 wondering how anyone could reach that high, but some lateral (or rather, conventional) thinking by Mr O had the cache found after about 5 minutes. TFTC.
Biking around Ballarat and a couple of hours to spend before getting onto the computers at the Public Library. Yep, Pat is now a convert as he was keen to come with me. I love these caches that take you to a bit of history. TFTC

Another Ballarat cache found late in the night with my two experienced chauffeurs Team Rubik and 2dudez. You know I will never learn to really read cache pages before I attempt. I would save myself a lot of embarrassment I tell you.
No wonder the other guys looked at me strange when I got the hunting rifle, 6 ferrets, and a heshen bag out of the boot. Well I did have egg on my face when I got to GZ and found out what the place actually was.
The cache was found easy enough but things did turn sour as I was writing the log. It was difficult to try and balance the cache, 6 ferrets and a shot gun in the dark and rain. Anyway, too make a short story long I dropped the shot gun it discharged which startled the ferrets who then ran up Team Rubik's leg. Now anyone that knows what a ferret is would know they have sharp claws and teeth. Needless to say Rubik was dancing around yelling out 'get it off, get it off'. I tried to help by ripping his strides off, and then 2dudez told us to be quiet as a police car was driving past. This did not stop Rubik from bellowing the place down so 2dudez put the heshen bag over Rubik's head to try and make him quiet. It was all to no avail I might add as the police lights came on.
Now if you want to know what the definition of impossible is then you try and explain to a police officer why there are 3 blokes standing on a bridge in the dark with one holding a shotgun and another naked from the waist down attached to a ferret and with a bag over his head.
Police officer: "Hello, hello what have we 'ere"
2dudez: "Just geocaching officer.'
Police officer: "No worries lads. Have a good night then".
TFTC fozzy778. Oh, yeah thank your mother for the rabbits.
Here are some tips for rabbit hunting as well:
1. Be sure to obtain a hunting license or permit before you go hunting. Here are some things to consider:
* Many states require a Hunters Safety Course before issuing permits to hunters.
* Learning proper gun handling techniques will make the hunt safer.
* Hunt with a responsible adult if you are underage.
2. Get a Gun. A 22 caliber with long/long rifle hollow points, or a small guage shotgun like a .410, 28 gauge, or 20 gauge should work well. Shotguns will leave pellets in the rabbit, so consider using steel, rather than lead shot in #6 or #7 1/2 game loads.
3. Target practice until you are proficient with your gun. The rimfire rifle will kill quickly and cleanly if the shot is placed correctly, but poor marksmanship will result in injured rabbits suffering and possibly being lost.
4. Find a place to hunt. You can't just hunt anywhere. Find a game management area or a forest or farm that is privately owned where you can obtain permission to hunt!
5. Select the technique you will use to hunt your game. Rabbits may be hunted by chasing with dogs, hunting from a stand, or driving them.
6. Once you bag one, field dress it. If you want to, get an organ plunger. They go into its body and, like a wine cork, pulls them out!
7. Keep the head and the fur, and eat the meat cooked.
8. Let the land owner know when you will be hunting.
9. Offer the land owner maybe 1 out of 10 rabbits to sweeten the deal.

Found by Mary & David at 1540, after the Eureka Uprising Event. With lovely sunshine, you wouldn't want to head home when there are still caches to find. We last looked for a cache here (a DNF on embi's The Bunny (Rail Trail 2), which had been muggled) in mid-2002. This time we had better luck and found the cache quickly. We were soon joined by Team Crackers. Our thanks to fozzy778.
