We were camping here so thought we'd go look at the cache site. This is a good walk thru the forest. Pity the cache has gone.
Well its definatly not where the clue said, and we looked both days we were in the area.
Nice track thouigh. A few years ago I was in a party that bought a toddler up in a mountain buggy. It went realy well.

Lovely walk. Found this by chance as we were about to walk off after a stop for some food. It was that old parental reflex to look around for what the kids have left behind as they charge off down the track.
Did this one on my way back out from Lake Daniels and made it much more difficult than it needed to be. TFTC.
NZ Phantoms with DEADBORING. Yes we found it. The kids were to fast and missed it. But we had a break on the way back and they found it the next day. Dont get to afraid to get muddy feet and legs. Its absolutly gorgeous.
Swapped a stickers for a badge.

What a great spot for a stop just after we had to scramble thru some windfall trees, had time for a quick bite to eat then back on the track again. thanks for the cache. cheers Bo
Found this on the way to stay at the hut with bo&bronnie. The tree fall we clambered over and many smaller ones meant our walk was just over 4 hours (not helped by our over-loading our eight year old's pack).
Thanks for an excuse for a breather!

Camped in the carpark the night before and walked up in the morning on a fine day, very enjoyable.
Wahoo FTF! Waited for a sunny day to make the walk up to Lake Daniells. This was a bonus along the way and certainly helps to break up the walk. Cache was found easily enough however the lead may of fallen out of the pencil therefore the next people need to come prepared! We had a pen but when you see the cache container you will understand why we never left it. Maybe the next people could pick up the pencil, sharpen it at Lake Daniells then return it on the way down. Enjoyed the walk. Was flatter than we had anticipated. TNLN Cheers!
