Seemed to be a dnf day for us. Enjoyed lunch over the road and wandered over to check the tree. Then l read previous logs and looked quickly but did not persist. Thanks for bringing us to the banks of the creek.
We searched thoroughly for over half an hour each with no success. The site needs a visit from the CO to check it out.
Stop #5 today, and our first DNF. Two of us spent over 30 minutes searching for the cache, but the only thing of interest we found was a pretty little cat apparently living inside the tree, and none too happy to see us peering into his living room. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
On a bit of a road trip this weekend to knock over some of Victorias LGA's.
2 days, 1200+Km, 1 event attended, 19 caches found, 1 DNF and 8 LGA's put to bed
This cache was the DNF.

I had a good look for about 10 minutes and came up empty. Needs a CO check.

Stopped here on our way through to Chiltern but had no luck with this one. We tend to think it has gone AWOL. Might be an idea for owner to check this one out.

No luck for Honeysucker and I here today, so we journeyed to the nearby Bakery for a bite to eat, and a Lemon Tart to take home for Mrs H.
My first ever (logged) DNF.
This cache has been muggled for sure.[v]
I am absolutely posatively certain of it.[:(!]
I think.
I will try again another day.

I found this awesome cache with Ostara74 while we were on holiday in the area. What a brilliant hide! We enjoyed the hunt for this cache a lot. The local area was very interesting and a great place to visit. Thank you to Team GraMon for their efforts of making and maintaining this cache. Thanks also for bringing us to this amazing spot. I love that caching brings me to new and usually relatively unknown places that I would never even know about, let alone find, if I wasn’t hunting for a cache. This very cool cache was my 1560th find.

Found this today together with Ostaraq74 and Pathfinder24 and this was my 7th find of the day.
We parked conveniently close to gz and had the area to ourselves so we could search undisturbed. And search we did, up and down in and out but no cache. But then as we were about to call it a dnf, there it was, right under our noses [:o)] Very happy to sign this log.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Norway.

Found together with Pathfinder24 and ellesaich on a sunny day. This was my sixth of eleven finds today.
With ellesaich visiting us from the cold north, Pathfinder24 and I came up with a route for a camping trip to include three of Australia's states. During our combined summer- and caching-trip in VIC, NSW and ACT we visited many lovely places and made some additional stops to look for caches on our way.
Today we spent the morning in Rutherglen tasting several of the lovely wines from the area before we headed towards Echuca. And off course we looked for some caches on our way.
The cache was located after a longer search, as there was many potential hiding places, but we found it in the end and got the log signed before we were off again.
Thanks for the cache Team GraMon!

Happened to be travelling through this neck of the woods with most of the Haveanez crew when we were passing it was pointed out to me there was a cache here.
I'm not a big fan of these trees when it comes to finding caches, too many unseen hidey holes for possible slippery critters just waiting to bite, but luckily (for me) the container was sitting clearly on the ground, me searching necessary.
I signed the log and places back from where best guess it came from.
May need checking by owner.
TFTC, Cheers.

I had a long weekend planned to visit the Victorian border region for a bit of caching. I had a great time and managed to get to many caches over the time I was away. Things got a bit hot which slowed me down, but I was happy to see so many great places and hides. What a huge tree ! I was not patient enough today to get this one. Thanks.

Out fishing for the day with no luck so we thought we'd catch a cache instead thanks for taking us to this big old tree
After staying at the local caravan park overnight, we were early visitors to this cache site. What a magnificent tree, so glad it has been noted by the National Trust. Found cache OK without any muggles watching . TFTH
A monster of a tree and with its own parking places too. There were not too many people in the street at this location today which made the cache easy to get. The cache was in good condition. TFTC
Found this one quickly but not before getting a friendly toot from a passing local tradie. Added to our Fav List
I just love finding the really old and interesting Tree, these days they would never plant a Pepper Tree for the fear of White Ants. Thanks for the Vache
What a magnificent specimen. When I was very young we had a peppercorn tree in our backyard and I spent a lot of time climbing in its branches. I am always happy to search them, it brings back happy memories
Big and gnarly, a giant of a specimen.....and of course that's where the cache would be. After you Mr.G. TFTC Team GraMon.
What a truly magnificent specimen. Noticed as I've been driving around that where the recent fires have burnt the natural vegetation, that the peppercorn trees still seem untouched are are bright green TFTC Team GraMon
Tftc took a short time to locate, read previous logs to assist, was a little nervous putting hand into deep dark places but survived, located, signed and replaced with geopartner.
Stopped here on the way home from playing basketball in Echuca, the team (Albury Cougars) decided to jump in the river, while I decided to see if there was a cache near by. 23m away... Found easily after a quick look around at GZ. Was a bit smaller than I expected. No one had a pen so was unable to sign the log unfortunately. Good quiet spot on a Sunday arvo.

Grabbed this one during a lunch time stop. Just happened to park beside the tree then checked the GPSr. Surprise, surprise - right here. What a fantastic tree with lots of spots to hide a cache. Luckily we came up with the goods. Thanks to TeamGraMon for the cache and for sort of bringing me here.
Found it what a great experience finding my first geocache my nipples are very hard!
What a fantastic Tree. Lots of goods pozzies here!!!
Had to wait for a few muggles to pass then had the
cache in hand.....signed and replaced.
Thanks Team GraMon

Well we gave this one a good nudge on our way home from a weekend in Echuca, but our eyes must have been painted on!! No doubt we will be back to try again.
Our fifth on our day out from Shepparton. What wonderful trees in this area. After a great lunch at the local bakery this was a quick and easy find.
Angus the great GeoWestie assisted my Carer [grey nomad] Lis Brown with Geomaher and Jeubaloo.

This was our very first geocaching find TFTC, looking forward to many more finds
Magnificent tree! Lots of hiding spots not too hard have to be prepared to stick your hand in a hole. Enjoyed this one thank you!
Gee caravan parking as well, a nice potato pie from the bakery and a cache in a great old tree, thanks for that.

Picked this one up on my way to Strathmerton for a camping w/e. Thanks to Team GraMon
On our way to Ecucha. Stopped for toilet break and decided to see if there was a geocache in town. Found this in a impressive tree.
A lazy afternoon spent east of Echuca with Bettyboo3747.
Where they have attached the National Trust listing sign is slowly getting encased in trunk!
Great peppercorn tree, had a good look at it.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3159. Robmc and I are spending a few days at Moama in the lead-up to the Anzac Day event on Thursday. Today we are heading eastwards and elsewhere to get some out of the way caches.
Having arrived in Nathalia we turn the corner and park in front of an enormous peppercorn tree. It is a beauty with a special plate attached to it. Wondered why this one was worthy of merit when there are so many old giants around the country. Had a bit of a fossick and soon had the cache in hand. A lovely area here by the water with inviting green lawns and shady trees. TFTC

After disgracing himself on the hunt for the last cache (only having a boy's look and then declaring the cache gone), strike-a-light was on a promise if he managed to find this one - didn't take him long We've seen quite a few peppercorn trees on this trip, they seem very popular along the backroads of Victoria
A very sad day. Our mother has just passed away at 10.50 pm.
We couldn't think of a better way to honour her adventurous spirit than to find this cache in her home town. So tg-train rode the goffer, am-train rode the electric bike with cm-train in the basket at the back nursing the beverages. We rode up the main street at about 1am found the cache, had a drink for Mum then rode the goffer and bike around town till the wee hours of the morning. We all laughed and cried but it was great therapy. Mum would have loved it.

What a tree! Unbelievable that we found it so soon after starting to look given the number of great hidey holes. TFTC JenneG & Budgy

YAY... pretty slack that we hadn't found this one until now.... I drive past it every single day! Glad that it survived. I have peeped in this tree a few times looking for this cache but was looking for something slightly larger.
After some not so successful hunting in the local area, we wanted to have a go at this one, only to find the fire brigade washing their truck!!!
Off we wandered and soon later came back to find that the firees had left for the day, so onwards we went...
Another smaller batch of bees nearby, but this time they caused us no trouble!!

Found with AN Rastan. Was a cool old tree, wish there was more info on site about its significance. Was a nice stop on a long drive. TFTC!
what a fabulous trunk on this tree we wonder how old it must be. found cache between people walking passed tftc
Found it No. 4752 ... quick find ... TN and left Chinese Coins ... TFTC Team GraMon
Received some interest from a 'senior' walking by, told him we were playing a game. Other than that, no problems. Cheers Gav [11154]
went to find with fellow geocacher that had previously found it no sign of cache possibly muggled
Amazing, arrived at GZ and put my hand on it straight away. The way I like it, good hide and what an amazing tree. TFTC
