Logs
Needs checking, we read all the logs, but after searching for nearly an hour, in at least a 30m radius of the gz, coords direct to the middle of the lge bush right on the western side of the crest, but to no avail. Some one said it was protected by a rock?? No rocks.?.Great views though Emma, enjoyed lunch at the car park. tftc with jeffner5556
The best view is always from the highest point. Were staying at Farm beach on our lap around Oz. Weather wasnt good for fishing today so we decided to go for a drive and explore. Tftc
Found with richlink during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.
Thanks for the cache offroad campers

Happy caching and safe travels!

Family Holiday in Coffins for the week. Today was spent on the northern beaches, Greenly and Coles Point. Made a detour out to Frenchmans to grab this one. A neat little drive in for a cracker view from the point. Nice to grab an older style cache in a great off road location. Cache and log in hood condition still. Fav from us. TFTC
Found with Deltaducks during family holiday in Coffin Bay. Another new place to visit and terrific view. Tftc
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So after leaving Venus Bay my next destination is Coffin Bay NP which is down the bottom of Eyre Peninsular off the Flinders Hwy.
I’m hoping for when I set up camp the weather improves but at least I’m in a van and not having to set up canvas.
Well the weather has improved but not as much as I hoped for as there is still rain showers just when it looks like it is getting better.
I had an early appointment in Port Lincoln so I set off early in the morning to find a few caches heading in as Port Lincoln will be my next stop on this trip but it would be to hard to find these ones with the van behind so I did them this morning.
Heading back now so I have a bit more time to be able to find a few more caches on the way, going to head north a little bit to check that area out.
Heading back towards the coast now to check out all of the little place names that appear on my map.
I’m enjoying the drive around the back roads enjoying the country side and the roads are in good shape.
Continuing my way along just following dirt roads / tracks to find little green dots on my map.
The easy part was working out what direction I needed to head to to get to this one.
The hard part was working out which one was the right track to take off the semi main track to find it.
After a couple of false starts I eventually made it in here and was greeted by another great view of this magnificent coast line and a great camping spot as well.
Soon located the cache and now to remember my way out.
Thanks offroad campers TFTC.

After camping the night at Morgan's Landing , we headed up along the west coast, exploring all the peninsula's and coastal tracks along the way .
Did a bit of a loop here and were able to park closeby .
The cache was covered in ants ! TNLNSL.
Thanks Offroad campers.

Found It!
The tracks into this one are a bit of a maze but eventually I found the right one and got to GZ. Some great views from GZ though!

Bear ventured up the hill to get this one while bell attended to junior. Fifth cache find for our mini family getaway. TFTC
Quite windy but great view.
Did have ants in the container but hopefully tipped them all out.

Heading from Ceduna to Port Lincoln, I grabbed a number of caches along the way to break my journey. I headed to GZ and got to the car park, and started driving down the track. But the vegetation was a bit close, so I left the car 500 metres from GZ and walked the rest. There was a car at the end of the track, but no-one in it. I wondered if the occupants were geocachers but the last signature in the book was over 18 months ago.
The views are simply magnificent. I took a number of photos of the nearby beach. I also checked for the occupants but couldn't find anyone. My thanks to offroad campers for the cache and the views.

I found me way to the coast along the roads from Coulta this afternoon, and headed along some bumpy tracks to get close to GZ.
My first effort had me at a spectacular sea view
Still another few hundred metres of thick, scratchy scrub between me an GZ though.
Well where I was looked like a fine campsite for the night ... so off I strolled.
A few hundred metres later and I found a far, far, far better campsite for the night
So ran back to the geomobile and moved it, before anyone else turned up to claim the spot.
That done, I wandered off on foot again to find me way to GZ.
The views were getting better and betterer.
And at GZ they were nothing short of spectacular
Lots of surf pounding the coast to the north at the moment, but still calm in the bay [^]
The cache was soon found under its protective rock.
Oh so nice to see a quality container, capable of withstanding the elements, instead of a thin plastic food package [^]
All good with this cache and the views

Awesome cache found after an incredible 4WD adventure up the track from Gallipoli. The modern 4WDs had to turn back but we were in a 1954 Landrover and in true Len Beadell style we navigated the "track" and had an absolute ball.
We picked this cache up while waiting for the others to reappear after going the long way around.
A beautiful spot, thanks offroad campers!

A beaut spot for a stroll. AstroLo and AstroWes rested and made lunch and drank coffee while I walked the walk from the car park. My sandwitch was a little dry on my return. That wind has to be watched!
I was rewarded with the cache and Oh that view. Emma is a lucky girl.
Clear skies from TeamAstro. TFTC ........#4200 cache [^]. Special
Drove as close as we could and then Delta ventured out into the rain and wind!
Great views even in the rain, excellent cache design, should last for ages without maintenance out here, good idea.

We really enjoyed the view. The scalloped wave pattern on the beach was a photographers delight.
Marvelled at the stone wall boundry fence.

A very scenic location and a suitable sand/dirt track in which to leave the motor bike travel bug. Also took a photo of emma's view. thanks offroad campers
Found 15:50, a fantastic location with great views.
TNLN, CSI=4, thanks offroad campers.

we came to a track junction and walked thru the bush (200m) to the cache and back on the track
Glad we had our new 4wd now. The commodore would never had made it into this one. Freezing cold and light showers made it a bit of a challenge, but we finally located it. Great view from where cache is. Imagine the sunsets would be perfect as well.

A bronze for us on this one then. On the way in of the main road, we drove over some soft stuff that the RAV4 sunk down into, but cruised on fine after that. Parked about 300 meters away and walked across the top of the cliffs to the cache in the wind and rain.
We were pleased to see we were third to find the cache after all this time. On the way out, we only just got out with the RAV screaming at 6000 revs in that muck, Phew.
