This one has not been found for quite some time, owner intervention is really needed to confirm if the cache is missing or still in place
Searched for quite some time but did not find it. It has not been found for awhile.
I reckon the CRB should be resurrected like a phoenix dripping in bitumen because the condition of many of our country roads suggests to me that VicRoads are urban-centric creatures with a myopic view towards roads in country areas. I wonder how many country roads could've been fixed with the $1.3billion "Shovel Ready Dan" blew away with the cancellation of the east-west link?

An interesting view of the highway below, one that is not often experienced. TFTC
Found with MazzyMay on a caching day. Parked the car and strolled along to make the find, then checked out the freeway going underneath. TFTC

Heading towards Ballan for the birthday event I was taking the scenic route to get there.
A nice view of all of the traffic passing underneath you going to various places.
A quick search, log signed and I was on my way.
Thanks flyjabiru1 TFTC

On our way home from a couple of days at Mt Beckworth and decided to take a different road. This was a nice quick find in a typical hide. Thanks for the cache.
Accurate coordinates, the hint and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks flyjabiru1 for the cache.
Country road, take me home, to a cache, that I need! For my creatures, country road! Thanks for this cache!
Quick easy find. Thanks for the cache flyjabiru1

I have open driven past this one but on the low road. Today I was on the high road. Tftc
Mr Beetle dropped me off to grab this one while he continued across the bridge to find somewhere to turn the van around. Unfortunately this simple cache took longer to find than it should have as the garmin nuvi sent me to the wrong side of the bridge. Fortunately the ETrex knew better and soon had me at GZ. There the clue came in to play and the container was soon found and dealt with.
Saw the biggest grey kangaroo just back from this cache who cleared a barbed wire fence with ease and grace. What a sight.
Thanks.

We're heading back to Lara from Maryborough after a quick trip to visit family. We decided to detour off the freeway to grab some of the caches we don't usually have time to grab. Thanks
We see this one go overhead each time we go to Melbourne but have never bothered to work out how to get it. Now today with the oppoertunity to get a couple of hidden creatures to boot the find was finally made. TFTC
After catching up with Claybol, Virbull and jtnsilo to finish off a nearby mystery cache, i headed east to find a few caches in the countryside while the Autumn weather was sunny and mild.
Headed to this one to fill in some time after being unable to return a cache to its hide which i found in the park in town.
This was a nice quick find giving me a view of the freeway i haven't seen before. Thx for your cache jabiru1. GIGC. Plenty of room left in logsheet but it's starting to look a bit tattered. cheers

Joined up with simsfamily to grab a few caches around Ballan and Bacchus Marsh on a breezy moon lite night.
Like many I've driven under the bridge numourous times but never over until tonight. With a quick detour I was able to add my name to the log and replaced as found.

Up this way visiting family and had a bit of time to spare so we decided to head off to look for some of nearby hides.
Looks like this was a busy road so was a bit unsure about parking but didn't see another car the whole time we were there. Thanks for the cache flyjabiru1.

TFTC quick drive by with the father in law showing him geocaching. Log book is wet needs to be replaced.
I was in the area chasing a couple of first to finds afterward I had some time up my sleeve so I decided to convert a few other caches in the area to smileys.
Last one for the day and a nice easy one as well.
Thank you flybiru1 for the smiley

It was a lot harder than I expected I was lookin where It was but didn't see it at first
Wow what a lovely little area, even if it is close to the freeway, you would never know this was here as you flew by on the freeway, it was quiet and peaceful and the youngest team member loved to watch the cars and trucks zoom by, from a safe spot, log is damp but we managed to sign it, replaced as found thanks for the cache and the fun
A big day of geocaching from Ballan back to Ballarat. Eighth stop and another quick and easy find for S her fifth for the day. Tftc
Nice challenge, I was trying to beet my hubby to this one.... But he got in my way... Another to him!!
Thanks for the cache! What a peaceful area! Yes, I know it's right next to a busy highway, but if we're able to tune out the traffic noise it really is lovely. The log is still damp but it was dry enough for me to write on it in some places. I drove to GZ from Ballan and turned off the road to Daylesford. I didn't know about the Bolwarrah Weir and glad I came this way.
Catching up on logs from a recent Victoria road trip. Thanks for the cache. The log needs drying out...hopefully Summer does the job.
Found this little beauty on the way back from sewing at Ballan - log was pretty damp though. Nice spot!
Found! The log was really damp, though. Didn't sign it as my pen would've wrecked it.
Easy, nice find and easily accessible from the highway with good walking shoes on.
A nice quick and easy find. spotted a mobile speed camera over the bridge on the freeway. I hope everyone was sticking to the speed limit today. We need to send these scum bags broke! TFTC
I love travelling country roads and checking out the places they take me. This was a nice quick find. Log was a bit damp, but able to be stamped. TFTC flyjabiru.
Good spot found it easily. Clue good tftc.container wet had to put clean piece of paper to log as log to wet to write on
My first visit to this spot with Motndarg. It was raining but Motndarg made the find very quickly. Thanks flyjabiru1. Nice drive to GZ, massive trees close to the road.
Luckily this was a quick find as it was raining, signed and replaced in record time. TFTH.
Beautiful afternoon, rode our bikes in from Gordon saw hundreds of butterflies, a wallaby and some interesting spiders! Our first ever Geocache find
Cache #6 for us today. We quickly found the cache then took a selfie on top of the bridge. Such a beautiful drive to get here. Thank you for bringing us here.
TFTC. Heading back to Ballarat after a shopping trip and called past to grab a few smilies.
Found It!
A quick find on a rather quiet little back road. Plenty of traffic down below though...

Found on a cold miserable winters afternoon. Thanks for the cache. Took nothing, but as this is a spot that sees some occasional snow I left a penguin. TFTC

Find number 2 of 40, on the way to Mount Beckworth today. I've driven past this cache soooooo many times and always cursed the route I was taking to Ballarat. I remembered this time, got off the freeway in Ballan and was able to make this one a smiley. It won't come up in pocket queries anymore and taunt me from the freeway anymore! Thanks for the cache flyabiru1.

I picked this cache up at 2:54pm. Another cache I have driven under many many times and wanted to stop for, but due to the car usually being full of dogs and people who aren't that interested in caching, I have had to wait until today. It was a quick find.
A big weekend for me up at the Beaufort Bash hosted by chooknchunk. After a great BBQ lunch, on what was a warm day for me (but then again I think anything over 25° is too warm) I was heading home back to Melbourne, via some caches of course. Usually when I drive home from Beaufort, the car is full of dogs and other half, who really aren't interested in making the trip any longer by stopping for caches Thanks for the cache flyjabiru1.

Yep, you guessed it. I took the wrong way to the cache. After a few attempts and then checking the terrain rating, I knew I had made a mistake. When I realised which way I should have gone, I could have slapped myself. TFTC flyjabiru1.
Every time I drive along the freeway I always think there is a cache up there! Today as I was taking an alternate route, it was only a quick deviation to get to GZ. A nice quick find and a great reason to explore some of the country roads. The weather was ideal today with the sun shining and finally a bit more warmth.
Thanks to flyjabiru1 for placing this cache.

Found this morning with my 3 year old geokid whilst we were out adventuring. Easy find. Some lovely properties in the area and we'll worth a drive down other country roads
Today we picked up our friend Kinkell1 and went to find a few caches around Ballarat together. This was our secondfind for the day. Luckily, Kinkell1 knew at which level this hide could be found, so we were able to avoid climbing through the blackberries.

Country road, take me home, to the place, where I belong... last cache in a run around Sebas, Buninyong, Lal Lal, Ballan, Gordon and home! Getting very wet scampering up the rampart to the GZ from the freeway and easy find and logged. Only prob was getting back down and sure enough, oopsy slipped the final 3 metres on my backside. Muddy dax, soaked to the core, time to go home!! TNLN TFTC flyjabiru1.
On our way to the OzMega in Murray Bridge picking up a few caches on the way. We thank the many cache owners for putting out and maintaing these caches for our pleasure. There have been challenges as well as simple drive byes to break the journey, there have been a few DNF's also.
Apoligies for the generic log but we plan to do quite a few logs in the next few days.
A nice quick find with a generous clue.

Markndee and the harrowang's love driving on country roads, so couldn't pass this one by. SL at 5.05pm #2032 left: lawn mower PT TFTC flyjabiru1
Found at 5:05 pm with Harrowang. An overshoot, and u-turn set people looking in the wrong spot but yours truly broke away and for once, secured the stash! [^] So a pleasing find indeed. SL TFTC

No access from hwy but a park at the emergency phone and a clamber up the bridge ballast allowed a jump onto the road above. TFTC
