Found on my York Peninsula caching Odyssey. I enjoyed the scenery and the caches. Thanks RGG and Dazzatron.
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.

We saw three brown snakes today, which changed our plans a little to avoid roadside long grass and find a variety of quality rather than quantity caches!
A plentiful harvest of caches today

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children.
We left our camp in Curramulka to move on the Maitland, caching as we went.
Nice find amongst the Ruins. Thanks RockyGlenGrommest, Dazzatron & Magieh

Found out with Beary Organised on lovely Autumn afternoon not sure we should be in here. Cache broken to pieces replaced all good to go. TFTC TNLNSL
Time to move out of camp and head furhter north again, picking up some caches along the way. Couldn't take the caravan along some tracks, so felt a bit restricted today. Plenty of other caches were available to keep us happy. Found a couple of multi caches as well as a selection of traditionals, while travelling along mostly back roads rather than highways.
This cache was easy to spot from a distance and the log was soon signed before we were on our way again. Thanks go to Dazzatron/Margieh for maintaining this one.

Having a lot of fun caching around the Yorke Peninsula with goingplaces2. All the caches that we found today had two more names added to the log. They were then put back in their place. This was a nice easy find. TFTC.
Day 4 visiting Yorke Peninsula with geo friends Waz and Vic, Ardom, Gcoven, JACS Team and joojoo57.
Today we set ourselves a target on the Gone Fish'n trail and of picking up a few others along the way.
All logs were stamped with our team name SWAG-JJ

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Yorke Peninsula Day 4: Last day on the peninsula, so we decided to make a big dint into the fishing line today - up before dawn and collecting caches at a very rapid rate. Got as far as we could do while staying sane, then went on to collect a bunch of other cache in the area. All logs signed as the group "SWAG-JJ". TFTC!
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 4: Time to hit the Fishing Line. Collected a few others as we avoided the drizzle and visited small towns to drop some tourist dollars in.

Found with FUF009.
We headed out of St Arnaud, VIC early this morning and drove practically non stop to Minlaton with either totally random stops for caches or specifically selected caches.
It felt like a very quick drive despite it actually being about 8 hours all up.
Such a nice change of scenery and nice for both of us to have free range caching rather than the limited range St Arnaud has left for FUF009 and difficult Melbourne caching for me.
All caches found were in good form unless mentioned at the start of my log.
Apologies for the generic log but I just can't do individual logs after the mass of caches that were found. I'm so tired they all have merged into one big cluster.
Thanks to all the COs for their hides. Tftc

Out for the day with LLL51 and Madham02 with the aim of finding LLL51's 1000th cache. [^] A plan was hatched and we started off with 14 caches targeted, hoping we didn't have any DNF's. The weather was not looking too promising, but we managed to get them all before the rain really set in.
An interesting park that we wandered around after finding the cache.
The container has started to disintegrate and is not in very good condition.

Even though it was quite hot, we managed to do a few trail and other caches in the area.

Day 2 of our trip and today's plan is to head along the west side of the peninsula, once again the weather was perfect, its great to be back on the Yorke peninsula again and what was suppose to be a overnight stay ended up being a 2 nights and 3 days stay on the Yorke peninsula, we managed to find quite a few while here and on our third day we had to head back earlier than planned after car issues, the weather was very pleasant while here and we look forward to returning back here to keep finding more caches, we thank all the COs for placing these caches for us to find and making our visit very enjoyable. Traveling from Yorketown to Kadina today, only 130km by the shortest route, but that's not how geocachers travel it took me all day! Lots of detours and dirt tracks explored, great scenery, and a lot of fun finding caches along the way.

So I have to go to Adelaide for work, on Monday so how to make a weekend of it..... contact brisal5 and turn it into a Yorke Peninsula exploration..... We were planning to find some geoart but instead got distracted by the many, many great caches located on the Yorke Peninsula.
My apologies for the generic logs my notes and memory of finding almost 100 caches in 36 hours are a bit lousy. But I truly appreciate the effort the cache owners have gone to creating some memorable cache hides in beautiful locations.

Plan A: A weekend to YP with mogni to do some Geo-art caching became plans B, C and D yesterday as we cached our way to Hardwicke Bay for our overnight digs. Time for plan E. Cache our way back towards the SAGA awards event in Adelaide and leave the Geo-art for another weekend. Another quick find but as per previous logs it is in need of a new container. We replaced the log and placed it in a new plastic bag but the container may be a problem in winter. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets.
We ventured out on this windy day for a drive down the western side of the Yorkes.
We found the cache and geo info signed the info sheet with SASRS this cache has been muggled.
I did not have anything with me to replace the missing logbook.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
We stayed overnight at Minlaton with iluvtrekking and were able to leave our caravans onsite until we returned to collect them after a late lunch.
During the morning we toured across to the west coast , Bluff Beach and up to Port Rickaby before returning via Koolywurtie. We had some navigation problems and had to backtrack on more than 1 occasion. [xx(] [B)]
Some very interesting historical locations seen so thanks to all the Geocachers who have helped us to tour this Peninsula. Another interesting day touring with friends.
Love these old historical spots and buildings.

Stink bugs galore! Tonight was a youth event at Eternity Chapel, the local AOG church in Minlaton. I decided to give myself an extra hour and a bit to pick up some caches around Minlaton beforehand and possibly collect some after. 9 caches before, 3 after the service. I parked in the church car park, hopped over the fence and soon found this one surrounded by those lovely black bugs the kids at school freak over due to the stench. Anyone reading this log, there's a gate in the fence on the road side. Use it. I didn't see it til I was leaving.
A New day to go out caching spending quality time with family and friends met up with Margieh and Dazzatron so how much fun can we have today as yesterday we had a tyre problem but last night Geodad plugged the hole and fixed it up all good to go now . Spoke too soon now we have had our 2nd flat tyre for the weekend. Think may need to buy some new tyres as we have worn the others out caching. Easy find TFTC
Great that the old church looks loved and somebody is keeping the memories alive here. TFTC.
I swear - Koolywurtie (population 0?) has almost as many caches as our home town (pop a little over 600). But we're working on that...
Ruins look cool but there are muggles in the church. I hope we were sneaky enough
Found on a day of caching on the York Peninsular.
We saw some marvellous beach scenery, fields of ploughed wheat. The caches were all good & scattered over various types of locations.

We found this cache as part of our family YP camping trip. Over the 12 days we saw some fantastic scenes and did a heap of cool stuff. This really is a beautiful slice of our country. To top off an already wonderful trip, we also found 145 caches, 6 trackables, 1 pathtag and attended 1 event.
Thanks for the cache!!

Found by Mary & David at 1515. Found after a long wait. Probably a bit unusual to have a large funeral here, with people and vehicles everywhere. You could say one of their own was harvested. Good to see the church is still in use. Easy find once the mourners departed. Our thanks once again to Rocky Glen Grommets.
