We went for a look for this cache and it was exactly were we put it. Unfortunatly the lid had been distroyed so the log was wet. We will replace asap but for the moment it is disabled.
An awkward one with kids due to proximity of road and traffic. Found it, but be willing to get your knees dirty. Didn't sign log as it was too damp.
Nearly gave up on this one. But tall Midnight man crawled under and around and was so determined. One last look and there it was! TFTC. SL
A beautiful sunny Saturday to be out and about looking for geocaches.
Today's target area is Mt Tamborine.
This was another find for the day. This one took a little bit of searching before I found it tucked away.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Was good to find this one along our walk. We fought the troll then made the grab.
Log is quite damp so we lay it to dry for a few minutes so we could sign it. Bag is torn and lid missing.
We've enjoyed our day up here on the mountain.
Thanks for the cache Jenisis.

Found after some commando crawling . Cache needs maintenance. Bag is ripped and lid of cache is missing
Out and about for a new years hunt with Yoshi486, A nice warm day, few clouds around and at least there was a breeze to cool you down. very quiet and almost no muggles around as they must have been hungover and sleeping or something. today consisted of mostly quick grabs, but also featured a few multi's and a 100th find for me.

Crawling time! down low on our hands and feet, searching around and we finally find it! TFTC

Out hunting with Croswat first of the new year. got really dirty looking for this one. TFTC
Excellent hide! Thank goodness we Smurfs are small so we can get down low. TFTC
Well it was very hot today, but there was geocaching to be done.......
I cranked up the A/C in the car, grabbed some water bottles and off I went.
Decided to head up to the mountain to see what I could collect up there. Since it was soo hot, why not get some good views in instead? Found this one easy enough however the log was DRENCHED and I could not sign it. So sorry I didn't have a spare log in the car as all my geocaching supplies are back home in Canberra.
Thanks for another nice cache on the Gold Coast Jenisis

looked all around gz, hunted high and low more than once. Then Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog12 had a go too. No luck today, were we looking in the wrong place or has it gone missing, will have to wait and see if someone else is luckier than we....
Out with the Bennyboppers for their 100th Cache. This was a quick stop off on the way to the falls!
Finally success! Geo son #2 searched and luck was on our side! Excellent hide. In company with joeblow13
OK... so I thought I'd be one of those people who don't log a DNF... but then as a cache owner I thought it should be done if not, to help others. I packed 3 of the 4 geokids up and we headed out for a day of geocaching in the Tamborine Mountains. Geoson#2 expertly navigated us to this cache and we searched high, low, under, over, in and out and just could not find it. We pulled, poked, prodded and came away with lots of stinging nettle scratches and sadly no cache to be had. We looked at all the other logs, photos and still nothing. We gave up after an exhaustive hour of searching and headed for our next find, which, I might add was successful . We sat on the mountain having our lunch in a nice park and perused the logs and pictures again. With a positive attitude that I knew exactly where it was, we headed off again, and still no cache to be had. This one has fooled us for the second time in a day! We have given up ... for now... Great location and great hide - obviously!!!
The first time that I came past here I think that the ground was wet, as it often is at Mt. Tamborine, and you will see why this could cause a problem. The second of my afternoon drive.
Today success. Thanks Jenisis.
Today success. Thanks Jenisis.
We set out today to explore Mt Tamborine district and pick up a few caches along the way. We expected a sort of quiet day traffic and muggle wise, but alas, no one told us it was Family Day at the Ekka and I reckon half of Brisbane was up here today. No luck with this one today.
Should be a found it laughing hysterically option! Really needed geo kid!!! TFTCSL Haahaaheehee!!
Up from Melbourne to do some caching with Robgold. Enjoying my last day in warm Qld. Difficultt to be inconspicuous when muggles drive past. TFTH
We have had a previous go at this one and it had beaten us. Out for a Saturday drive, managed to pick up some yummy local produce from the roadside and drove past this. Do we give it another go? Sure why not?
A local walked past over the bridge so I used the time honoured "I am sure this is where I was walking when I dropped it" tag line and she didn't even blink. Shortly after we managed to spy this one tucked away.
No longer will you taunt us. TFTC.

After a few log reads and relooking in different locations its on the opposite side of the bridge to where my gps said. Also daughter found lid so all good again. Ok Molly found it
It was still a bit dark under the bridge so I went back to the car for my torch. Looked around a bit then spotted it from a distance. The lid is missing but still dry.

Spent a bit of time in the wrong spot, but has the right idea. Found it after reading past logs. TFTC!
Had a good look around under the bridge, but eihter the lighting or my experience didn't work with me today!

Geocaching with sister and cousin. This was our last find of the day before we had to get back to our friends and family for dinner. This one took a few minutes and I didn't want to spend much longer looking, so I made an emergency PAF call to The Hunting Rabbit who more or less confirmed that I was already looking in the right place. A couple of minutes later after peering here and there, I eventually spotted the cache. Easily accessible after that. TFTC Jenisis.
Took me around 10 minutes to locate this little blighter! My estimate is it's around 6 metres from the coords and, as the description states, you don't need to cross the bridge.
A short frog hop in the dark and damp and the right angle and there it was, staring me in the face. Not hidden at all really
On we rolled, Sooty and I on our Easter weekend at Tamborine Mountain.
TFTC (sneaky) hide, Jenisis!

Found by one of the little geocaching trolls. Other junior troll attempted to cross bridge by slipping over and skidding on bum. Watch bridge when it has been raining for several weeks. TFTC.
Had just about given up, but finally, a little encouragement from a previous photo helped us continue 'til the right angle was achieved. We had certainly been on the right track, but just hadn't pinned the right spot. Good little cache, thanks.
Had a quick look but it was raining and it seems that one needs to join the trolls way under somewhere. May try another time. Thanks jenisis.
Sneaky hide. Hubby had to look closer for trolls than he wanted. Lucky he hates dnf more than trolls.
Could this have been washed away by the recent creek over flow as a result of the cyclone, or were we just thick!!!!!!!Beautiful spot.
Tftc nice and easy

Got it on my way back at the end of a big caching day before my return to the UK. TFTC
Happy New Year!!! We spent the day bushwalking and caching with Phyl.
Thanks to the previous photos we found this with ease as a team. I went down one side, spotted it and geowife went in for the kill.

Spent a day caching in the Mt. Tambourine area. Lots of good shopping, well lanscaped gardens & spectacular views. Not forgetting some very smart caches.

Took a while of hunting around before I got myself down to the right angle to spot the cache. Log sheet is full but dry. Clipped the lid back on as it had seperated from the container. TFTC
This one took a while to find as the GPS was jumping a little today. Eventually found, signed log and replaced. TFTC
This one took a bit longer than it should of. Happy to get the find and then we set off for a bit of lunch. TFTC
Watch out for cars ! especially if you have geokiddies in tow! Nice and easy TFTC
Another nice side-track and an easy find.
Thanks for all your caches, Jenisis, I've enjoyed finding, (or trying to find!) them!

Find #839 at 15:16.
We'd stopped here once before and apparently abandoned the search for some reason, likely due to muggles or cranky kids. Today I walked pretty much right up to it.
The cache is a bit full of Stuff, and the lid has rusted off, but a slight deformation of the tin and it holds on quite nicely anyway.
TFTC, Jenisis!

Well this was a grand adventure of a find With teamnanabombana joining the exploration.... all munchkins running amuck on the boardwalk while we searched....it was a short search once one of the members of teamnanabombana sighted the cache. I'll give a favourite point just for awesomeness of location, wish I still lived here!

Down Tambourine way doing some work while IolantheK cached the day away. I finally finished work and was able to collect a couple of caches in the failing light.
This one was had alluded IolantheK earlier in the day so we went back to have another look. Took a while to find, crawling and searching, looking at previous logs and checking the hint, but with a bit of perseverance we discovered the hide.
The cache was dry and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Jenisist made a happy ending to a long day

Up at Tamborine. While my geospouse T-Tech has to work, I get to play
I'd had a go at this one earlier today, but had no luck, so I thought I'd get T-Tech to have a look with me on our way home. Even though it was now almost dark, he got it in about 2 minutes. TFTC, Jenisis. I got a few of yours today

After a brutal week of work, and being told that i had to work the weekend making my plans to tackle the Gold Coast Power Trail useless, I had to get out. Had dinner with a mate in Canungra and then headed out to collect some caches. Spent a long time in Canungra and Mt Tamborine. Going to make it a long day at work on Saturday.
My 50th cache since leaving Townsville. Thought I would have had more by now but I am down here for work so can't complain. Parked in someones driveway and walked straight onto the cache. Signed the log and replaced the cache within a few minutes. TFTC
