This cache seems to have gone awol.Could the CO please check on this one. There appears to be a lot of DNF's on this one
It's a pity that the given co-ords have not been updated to the better co-ords in the description. Luckily we had a previous finder so we knew where to look, but dispite a good look no cache was found. As the co-ords are bad no replacement was left. Thanks for the hunt FLIPPER&CO*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
No luck for us here today after an extensive look!Happy caching and safe travels!
Had a good look. Hint alluded to 18 m away from GZ As did one of the logs. We found some suspicious items but no cache. See our pic.Not found under the umbrella of Vic Bandits comprising of Riddell, Greg and Judy, Ronice88 and Weirdobiker.Better luck next time.
We are in Lameroo for the annual JLWE event which is the Lameroos Ludicrous Legwarmer event this year with an 80s theme.Out and about with Ronice88, Riddell and gregandjudy to collect this series of caches which are quite a way from home. We are signing as Vic Bandits todaySorry for the generic logs this group of caches. Despite a thorough search, this one could not be found today
So it has taken 3 months to do the initial calculations, to finding and logging the cache. Last time I was here, an impromptu beer festival was happening with deck chairs out side the old camper van. Clear roads today! TFTF FLIPPER & CO.
Day 15 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today we are on the move from Tailem Bend to Loxton. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out early to get some of the Wandering Heroes before we had to leave the caravan park.
Our aim was to collect anything of interest along the way before we set up camp at Loxton. We stopped at Karoonda, Borrika & Alawoona. Signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 15. Today we headed out early to grab some more of the Wandering Heroes series before checking out of the camp ground and heading up to Loxton for the next part of our caching holiday. It was yet another great fun day of caching. This was the next find of the day, and a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks FLIPPER&CO !!

After a most relaxing couple of days on the Proud Mary cruising on the river, it was time to track down some caches. But first an overnight stay in Karoonda to recharge for an early start and then head off on another adventure.
The plan is to grab caches in the last few LGA for me to complete that challenge.

Out on another JAMS day with allister w, mogni, sir_spectre and tallbikestan targeting the rest of the Wandering Heroes that we didn't finish last time we were out this way. We started off in Murray Bridge then stopped off at the Happy Armpit series before heading to Sandalwood where we left off previously. [^] After finishing the Wandering Heroes and some others that we went past we zig zagged back to Tailem Bend finding some random caches in random locations which all added to the fun of the day. It was pretty hot and the car air conditioner got a good workout, but that didn't stop us even though I was quite tired by the end of the day.
Another cache found while hunting Wandering Heroes.
Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO.

Today the JAMS crew was out and about to complete the Wandering Heroes series. JJ52, mogni, Sir Spectre, tallbikestan and I met at the crack of dawn on a predicted hot day. We worked great as a team to find the remaining caches of the series as well as a few caches before it and a few after it. I was mainly the driver today and I filled up the car at Murray Bridge before the first find and from then on I didn't turn the car of until we had done finding and headed back to Tailem Bend, when we got to Tailem Bend and had 4kms of fuel left which added a adrenaline rush to the day. Thanks to all the CO's and the cachers that are a reason for another find. The JAMS crew hid a JAMS cache today to add to the series.
We have been travelling around this great country, calling into see many different places,
now is a quick chance on the computer to catch up with logs and to put some smileys on the map for where we have been.

Travelling from Barmera to Naracoorte we made a comfort stop. This cache was very near by so I could not help myself. Good spot for a cache.
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
So today we headed out with Rapidlywild to try our hand at some of the wandering hero’s caches. A lot of these caches need some TLC they are in a pretty bad way.
Picked this one up while doing the wandering heros series, this one was about 20m out for me.
Thanks for the hide FLIPPER&CO

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. Today the teams all split up and went our seperate ways for the remainder of our journeys. Today myself and FurfacesLL decided to do some Wandering Heroes caches, it was a long and at times frustrating day. A number of the caches have fallen victim to the environment and are very brittle, to the point they just fall apart when touched. The entire series could really do with a major maintenance run. We ended up pulling the pin on the series and chose something different to do for the following day.
We were not too sure about this one, like others before us, could hear the dog nearby, we were searching the hinted items before FFLL made the find. Log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks for the hides FLIPPER&CO And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

Day 4 Monash B and B to Adelaide
Found with mogni. Slowly heading in the direction of home. Now we have hit the wandering heroes trail. Here we targeted the caches that were off the highway and on the back roads. quick find.
Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

Today we formed a small team to tackle a section of the Wandering Heroes series between Loxton and Karoonda. It was an early morning start today, and the four of us, FeatherWaite, GoodLook, @gridge98, and I, agreed to stamp the caches with a 'thumbs up' emoji stamp to save room in logs and for our ease. It wasn't a bad day to tackle this series, with blue skies and the sun out allowing us to run in/out and look for caches. Some may argue it was too good of a day to be stuck inside a car for half the time. There was a bit of banter in order to take our minds off the significant number of cache finds for the day.
This cache was collected and stamped as a byproduct whilst driving the Wandering Heroes series, and it was an interesting little town of Alawoona. Cache found and stamped, and we continued on our journey, thanks FLIPPER&CO.

Out for the day with Davidwazza, GoodLook and featherwaite to complete the wandering heroes caches north of karoonda. All the caches are in good condition as we replaced the ones that were broken and needed replacing. All the caches were stamped with a thumbs up () stamp for convenience. Was great to chat about the different heroes along the trail as we went. Thanks to all the COs for their placements

Yet another great side cache to find whilst out doing the Wandering Heroes series.
Today I was out with the boys to finish off what gridge98 and I had started many months ago; joining us was FeatherWaite and DavidWazza. All of the caches were stamped with an emoji thumbs up stamp to save room in logs and for our ease.
We spoke to CPWanderer before venturing out and took a supply of various sized containers with us to replace those that were cracked/broken/missing. The section from Karoonda to Loxton should be fine for some time now
It was a sunny and relatively warm day - a boost to our health and wellbeing. I packed healthy lunches and snacks for all to enjoy and caching we went. We had a great time and shared lots of laughter.
Thanks to FLIPPER&CO! [^]

Found with Davidwazza, GoodLook and gridge98 on a mission to tackle the Wandering Heroes Trail with each of us in various stages of 'completion'. Started at Loxton and worked back towards Karoonda replacing a few soggy log books and damaged containers along the way. Also took the opportunity to detour off the series to locate other nearby caches, resulting in a very entertaining and rewarding day's caching. Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO!
Took a bit. Was looking before I red the description. Oops.

Apologies for the late log. This was my final day of an epic four day caching trip to South Australia and this was the toughest day of the lot. It was 40C in the Riverland and the hot, dry and dusty conditions made it tough going. My original target of caches to find had to be toned down and aim for a more realistic number for the conditions. I kept at it till mid-afternoon and called it a day after 107 finds. Main targets were Wandering Heroes caches and a few others along the way but I decided that Alawoona was my turn-around point before heading back north so this was the last one on the list out here. The heat was intense and there didn't seem to be another person outside in this town. Fortunately I made a prett yqucik find at GZ and was back int he air conditioned comfort of the car. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO.
Well - I tried to find it... The coordinates had me at the scant wire fence with a big dog behind it, and it was going off its nut! Then the neighbour across the way came out to see what the commotion was about, and accosted me in a very unfriendly way. So I decided to call it quits...
With Mrs one-eyed, our 4WD and caravan stopped here for another cache.
After nearly giving up, Mrs One-eyed assisted here and found the cache.

Firstly apologies for my generic log but this is #58 of 63 attempted caches today. 60 and 3 DNFs . We are heading to Alice Springs for the Event over Easter using the back roads from Canberra in an attempt to get to my next milestone in time to achieve the great looking souvenir. Today helped a lot but there's still a long way to go.
Many thanks to all the COs for placing these caches which helped me build towards my goal.
It was an incredibly hot day so really enjoyed getting back to the caravan in Loxton.
Signed or stamped all logs, sometimes as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

Another weekend, another foray into Wandering Hero territory. Today we cached between Mindarie and Alawoona. We ended up with a total of 37 finds, which included a handful of non-heroes, a couple of which were multis.
Our last cache for the day before heading home.
We quickly found this cache without the need for the amended coords. The hint was all we needed. Vampire knew exactly where to look and soon had the cache in hand.
Container and contents in good condition.

Having based our holiday around achieving 150 caches in a day, in the company of DAB, we set off early Sunday morning to fulfil a challenge sitting in our home town of Geelong. Camping in Loxton it was easy to start at the top end and work our way down the Wandering Heroes series and grabbing all others in our path. A fun day was had by both teams as we wandered down the hwy, appreciating all the well deserved dedication hides to our fellow cachers.
**Thanks very much FLIPPER&CO for the hide that helped add to our numbers today.**

Today was the day that two caching teams joined up for a challenge,The_Tritonz and DAB. We had set ourselves the task of 150 finds in a day. Luckily we achieved that number and then some !! We started the day very early and concluded in the late afternoon. While a good percentage of the finds were from the "Wandering Heroes" series, there were other hides in the mix. We found mysteries, traditionals and multis. We were spoilt with the landscape and plenty of photos were snapped.
There was plenty of laughs throughout the day and the weather was perfect. Being from Victoria, we were very impressed with not only the number, but the quality of the hides. Thanks to all of the CO's for an enjoyable but tiring day !! We can't wait to return here. TFTC

GPS had us in the middle of the road but with the hint and the alternative coordinates provided, things looked a little better. A short hunt didn't reveal anything. Then we checked previous logs. Oh oh... One more quick poke around for good measure and !! [:o] There was the cache. Very surprised to have made a find on this one but not at all unhappy about that. It is still there! It would be considerate to update the coordinates as the posteds are obviously slightly out. Thanks FLIPPER&CO
we are joining the DNF caches didn't spend overly long looking through the dog across the road was creating to much attention our way so we left.
Couldn't locate this cache, the dog over the road was going off his face. We used the picnic area for a smoko.
No luck with this one at all and I was worried that I would spook the nearby dog who was watching me considering how early in the morning it was.

Found with M-SEZ while attacking the Wandering Heroes series. While the girls were at home having a Tupperware party, the boys hit the road for a Sistema party.
This one took a bit of hunting, and like others we were often interrupted by a certain resident of the canine persuasion...
We found this during our third attempt at completing the WH series, and we still didn't manage to finish it... So I'm secretly excited to have to organise yet another caching expedition with mum and dad Sylken to run to the finish line (at least until someone publishes some more new ones .
We had a much cooler day for our outing this time, but the wind was pretty ferocious! Nevertheless, as always we had a ball.
Thanks to all the cache owners in the series. Your efforts at placing and maintaining the caches in the series are greatly appreciated.

Geodaughter KAROPI joined us here in Murray Bridge for our third assault on the WH series. We had cached as far as just north of Karoonda and felt we may be able to finish the rest of those published to date, as far as Loxton. We were very wrong...we left Murray Bridge at 07.30 and finished caching at about 17.45 and by then we had still only reached Alawoona. We still have over forty to find
We had a howling wind all day....a lot of the time spent bending into the wind to stay upright while searchng for caches. Let's not even discuss what it was like to open and close 4x4 doors with a gale blowing up our rear end, we all now have overextended arm muscles At least on the way there we had great fuel economy. We won't talk about the (non)economy we had on the way home
We found about a hundred caches and had no DNF's at all. We found some really nice caches, dedicated no doubt to some really nice cachers. We have found several more caches in one day in the past but are using the appalling wind as an excuse for not finishing the series today.
We saw very little wild life...some shinglebacks, one roo and two echidnas...oh and a bunny who took off like the proverbial...rabbit?? We actually saw a couple of his mates too, but they were many metres away instead of only about three metres with this little fellow. Thankfully we saw no snakes...they obviously don't like strong wind either
We stopped at the Karoonda pub for dinner....very basic ,but filling, and arrived back at base after dark and somewhat exhausted
This one took us quite a while....we didn't read the description very well so didn't see the other co-ords but geohubby finally made the find
Many thanks for the hide FLIPPER&CO[^][^][^]
