We are now camped at Maroochydore Beach Holiday Park for a few days.Our last Day on the Sunshine CoastOur plan today was caching along the coastline from Mooloolaba to Coloundra, a couple of ALs included. I was up the coast for the weekend, for my muggle brothers wedding on Friday. I headed here today after parting ways with my muggle sisters.

Quick stop here on my way past to do Duppers caches.

Decided to head out for a day of caching on the Sunshine Coast region with Nayfee after dropping the kids to school.

This was a nice beautiful spot to sit down and look out over the water.

Alycem89 and myself ventured out for a few hours to grab a few caches on the stunning Sunny Coast and what a day to do it because it was a beautiful warm day to do some exploring.

Nice simple find after searching the correct level. Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the view. It’s a great feeling to knock off another Q1000 cache.

#2804 - TFTC

A plan was set for today to try to complete as many of the sunshine coast caches as possible with a target of 140 (my target). Todays little group was Willis007, Esmiley, newcomer Duppers and myself. We meet at the arranged meeting point; we worked out where we were going and had a plan for the day. It was a little slow start but once all the formalities were done it was all systems go. The day was a lot of fun, with laughs, the usual banter and some nice walks. The plan changed a little as we went, we got a third of our targets, which I was happy with, as it was a big ask considering the caches were doing. We had a few DNF’s which took up a lot of time, a couple of multis that had us stuck for a checker tick. We were lucky to have Esmiley along who had completed a few of the caches and gave us some insight.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches and some fun hides and to my caching buddies for the day. We signed all logs and replaced containers as we found them.

Nicely hidden, the hint was a big help with this one, thanks.
All good with this cache and now it is onto the next one.

After an early start we made our way north, collecting caches as we went.

Fun and enjoyable day with Domsky and Justatriffle, starting from Alexandra Headland down to Corbould Park then going back up again.

Thanks for maintaining this old cache and taking us here Konie. Quick easy find for Domsky, I looked where the hint said but can't decide which is north and west!

We were very happy to find this one today. Last time we had been here we had no luck. Today, back out here with a couple of friends, our search was fruitful and it was nice to add our name to the log for this old Geocache.

Had a feel around in the dark but no luck tonight. It being dark and all, I didn’t have the use of my eyes to see whether it had fallen. But I was fairly brave to have a feel around on the ground and hint location. The tree nearby was pretty

After an all-terrain CITO to get the day underway, 1MinniMoo and I nicked off to the Sunny Coast to find mostly older caches - like this one. The day was drawing on now, but this lovely spot is very deserving of a stop indeed. A quick find as per the hint and a great view too.

Having attended a CITO to start the day, the rest of the day was planned out relatively meticulously Pprime style. The goal was to grab some older caches around the Sunshine Coast.
We wandered over past a man sitting at the tables, and while I took one level, Pprime took the other and made a grab, which he handed to me to do the signing honours. It certainly was a nice and peaceful outlook here.

Been an absolute age since I've done any caching, but the geokids were keen for a few today, so we hit up some of the canal areas in our neighbourhood for a look. Nice little sliver of a park here behind a set of shops I know like the back of my hand. A quick find and we were on our way. Thanks, Konie!

Had a fantastic couple of days on the Sunshine Coast. Stayed in a lovely house with a beautiful pool, spent a day at Australia Zoo, visited Noosa and many of the other beautiful beaches, and also stopped by the Glass House Mountains.

Great time to go and find a few local Geocaches while here in Queensland

Visiting from NZ and staying near Mooloolaba and collecting some local caches. Loved all the little parks and walkways. Had great views of the waterways as well. Cache all fine. TFTC

Saturday. Slow Puncture was out and about today with Selva Girls. Both SG and myself crawled around and up and under this structure without any success for finding a cache. Found lots of rubbish which we collected and placed into a nearby bin. We reviewed pictures of the cache but there was nothing like that there today

This was the 2nd of 2 DNFs we had on this trip.

Out trying to garb some of the Traffic Lights series and decided it was time to revisit this cache. I logged a DNF over 18 months ago and the CO put out a replacement soon after. Today turned the blue face into a yellow smiley. TFTC Konie.

Headed North this evening in company of Miss "Puzzle Queen" Direction to try and find some caches after dark. No need for stealth here this morning no muggles to be seen anywhere. Will have to return in the Daylight for the view.

1969, British supergroup Blind Faith, featuring Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Rick Grech and Steve Winwood made their live debut at a free concert in London's Hyde Park. Their only album release provoked controversy because the cover featured a topless pubescent girl, holding a silver space ship which some perceived as a phallic symbol. My first catch ever. Thanks for making it so much fun.

Very accurate hint. In full view of muggles. Have to be creative at this one to avoid looking suspicious. My 2 geokids were like wombats.

After a recent DNF at this one, I put it on watch and noticed the CO had now replaced it. Went along with my grandson today and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Konie

Stopped to check on this one today and it was gone.

Replaced it with a trusty eclipse container.

No luck with this one today. Was worried even bothering to look after the last log being a DNF but was passing anyway on my way to another cache.

Thought we would try this one again as it had just been found. Search for ages and all we came up with was sunburn!! We followed the hint to the letter and still came up with nothing - must be a case of cache blindness. We'll be back.

When pulling up to this one I was a little concerned with a previous dnf and also workmen working in the park however quickly realised that I was going anywhere near them and I dont even think they realised that I was there, same goes with workmen in one of the beautiful houses here. Quickly signed and replaced and took a couple photos and wondered what it would be like to live here. Thanks for bringing me here today and TFTC
