Team KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46) headed out to tackle a large amount of geocaches. It was a lovely day out together. Container was out in the open so returned to GZ site as per the description. Fast find. Tftc
To day we did some 50 odd caches in the Rosedale and Lowmead areas with KabbellaQld and Danielle46 so signed as KTD .Quick and easy find Tftc
Travelling from NSW South Coast to Cape York. Stopped for a morning tea break. Great little town and fun cache to find. Thanks!
Day 3 in the Coral Coast area. It is a nice sunny day. Doing the T.A.F.Caching with RoddyC Richmond Lad JooJoo57 and imbunda. Signing logs as HIRJR.TFTCache Ladyscrap
Today is Thomas and Friends caches, and caches by friends of Thomas along his tracks and loops. We had the company of Richmond Lad and Joojoo57. We signed the log as HIRJR.Happily, all caches were found and there were no DNF caches to record.A huge thanks for the COs for the effort in maintaining the caches, particularly to YOF for the actual Thomas caches. I particularly enjoyed finding The Fat Controller. This was a bonus being regarded as an "oldies cache".So to you, LadyScrap, I am grateful for your contribution to our wonderful game.
Out and about caching with Hatzoff, Imbunda, joojoo57 and RoddyC. Ventured all over the countryside looking for quite a number of caches. This was one of them. TFTC
Ventured through long grass with trepidation as only wearing sandals. Pleased the cache was not small & was easy to see. TFTC
Have been past the Rosedale turnoff many times but never have I been to Rosedale. What a quaint, beautiful little Queensland treasure. I could definitely live here. TFTC
On an adventure while making our way to bundy for the weekend with the family. It was full of ants when I opened it, but still managed to sign the log. TFTC
Grabbed this one while doing the T.A.F. Series. Container slightly melted , however the inner container still good. Thanks LadyScrap for the caches.Total Cache Finds 15148,
As this cache was close by, we went looking .Bingo Gotcha. Existing cache must have been in a fire, as it's badly twisted. Took photo to show we were here..Sorry we didn't have a replacement cache.. Was able to get a glass jar from the kitchen at the pub. So we called back and installed a new log in a container, and placed that in the glass jar, and then the lot in the pipe cache..

Was able to get a glass jar from the kitchen at the pub. So we called back and installed a new log in a container, and placed that in the glass jar, and then the lot in the pipe cache.. It's all good to go here now.. P.S. left something for the kids to take.

Hi there LadyScrap, we found your cache Dowlo's Pipe today.
Today is day three of our “Return to Bundy (and make it rain) Tour”, so named because every time we come back it seems to rain later in the week. (And yep it’s starting to rain today).
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area today and ended up finding a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: the container looks like it has been in a fire. It could do with some owner, TLC.
Regards
Ian & Penny

On a New Years getaway down from Townsville for a bit of Jolly Brolly Folly and some other targets as part of a catch up with Townsville’s finest DNFer Greencordial
This was a cache of opportunity. It peaked my interest due to an unchosen size.
Thanks LadyScrap for this hide GC1AXEJ Dowlo's Pipe. Nice one

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while caching in the area thanks for the cache
Day 4 saw the return of the good weather so we headed north to attempt the TAF Trail, and as usual pick up any other caches we encountered on the way.
What a great trail the TAF is. Really good sized, quality containers that with all bar a few exceptions were in fabulous condition, clean and dry with logs in great condition too. We can only imagine the cost and effort that has gone into producing the series. Outstanding!
We have given quite a number of favourites, sadly, probably randomly, but in recognition of the quality and effort.
A good day out with great weather traveling through a mixture of farmland and bush. Even saw a couple of trains!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache LadyScrap.

A nice drive today around the country roads picking up some smileys and this is one we found. All good here. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Ladyscrap for this one.
An easyfind this morning, just as a redident drove out snd down the road. Container lid is damaged and log sheet wet but able to sign ok. TFTC.
Catching up with late logs.
We ran out of light yesterday so we headed off to the Rosedale Hotel to have a couple of coldies and ended up camping there the nigh after having a very enjoyable dinner there.
We took off early this morning still making our way to Bundaberg picking up any of these that we go passed but the country must have changed a little bit as it looked like the same sort of grass but most of the time it was only waist high which still made searching difficult but easier than yesterday.
After finishing the T.A.F series we continued south picking up caches as we went.
This was the next one on the list and once at gz we simply followed the arrow for a nice quick find and sign.
Thanks again Ladyscrap for the cache.

Fouond while taking a short stay in Rosedale. This was a quick find after an early morning start. FTC.
Day 15 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n for the mega and today was day 2 of the drive back to Canberra.
After an overnight stop at the Koulama pub and then leaving at an early hour, the plan was to reach Bundaberg...which we did managed. We stopped off to find a few caches in each county along the way to tick that box off our to do list.
No issues here and the cache was soon in hand.
Many thanks Ladyscrap....

#14278; Day fifteen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. After a night in Koumala, we headed south, destination Bundaberg, collecting caches in the various counties as we travelled along the Bruce Highway. All were found in good order, unless mentioned in the log. Logs were signed L.L10n & Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs. TFTC LadyScrap
Leaving some trackables here as my holidays are coming to a close and finding big enough caches is a problem
TFTC smile 13790 out and about with miss millie geo dog on our way to Townsville Mega great caches, great day ,good weather, hope to do some more today
Thank you, Ladyscrap, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

On the way to Mackay for the night as we venture north to Townsville for the Mega, with Team de Ville (Imbunda, Peppa, and patrol14). Slight detour off the road to get this one. Cache easily found when we where on the right side of the road, unlike the cow that was on the wrong side of the fence. TFTC.
Day 2 of the Tour De Ville and we’re back on the road heading North…
Again with TMZ59 at the wheel of the Habanero Sport, Patrol14 up the front, and Imbunda and I in the back fighting over the arm rest…
We have a list of caches, that I spent at least two hours creating, to collect on the way up… the list lasted exactly one cache yesterday before we were getting “other” caches…
This oldie was on the list, so a slight detour off the road and here we were… apparently my Geepers was the only one that said “that” side of the road… of course the cache wasn’t on “that” side of the road…
Container has certainly seen better days…

Second day of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA and we are heading to Mackay. Had to stop here to grab this one for some challenge or reason. Once we figured out which side of the road it was, we made the find. SL then returned as found.
Found on 10 April 2022. TFTC, Ladyscrap.

Day 2 of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA Event and travelling with TMZ59, Patrol14 and Peppa.
Being a bit selective today as we are on a time limit to attend an Event in Sarina and this one filled a needed spot. Soon found and log signed before replacing as found. TFTC

Another older cache that was added to the list for collection during this leg of the trip. ?
Mega Travel - Day 1: Brisbane to Rockhampton
Up early and travelling, grabing a few caches of interest on the way though. A bit if zig-zagging up the A1 never hurt anyone!
Pipe has seen better days. TFTC.

Some dogs came to investigate what we were doing but seemed friendly enough. TFTC!
Day 3, today we headed up to Miriam Vale and Bundaberg. I needed some caches up here for a challenge cache. Couple of them happen to be on a powertrail.
Okay a powertrail about Thomas and friends
My son and I found 81 today the breakdown was. 49 traditional, 16 mystery, 5 letterbox, earthcache and 2 Adventure Labs with 10 waypoints.
Other fun day out.
Sorry for the generic log.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
We are currently travelling along Queensland‘s coast on a short vacation. Of course some target caches were also on the list of must do’s along the way and this was one of them. Thank you very much for placing this geocache.
The container is a little burned and the hiding location not large enough (anymore) to house this large cache. I enjoyed it though and tried to cover it as good as possible

Spent a few days in the area, decided to do this cache and visit this little town. Now to find a place to turn around with the caravan. SL TFTC
Too easy. We are staying at Rosedale Hotel caravan and camping ground for a few days. Tftc
Heading North on a roadtrip, with a list of powertrails, solved puzzles and plenty of other caches to find.
The TAF series was the main target today, with a few others tidied up while in the area. Had a great time travelling the country roads finding loads of generous sized and well maintained containers, and even saw quite a few passenger and freight trains passing by.
This container appears to have been melted at some point and is now cracked and broken apart. Could use some TLC.
Find #11555 @ 11:57
Thanks Ladyscrap for giving us all reason to visit.

Traveling around in Tuan Forest today mainly looking to find the Bones series of caches but also picking up any other caches we come across. All cache finds are in good condition. We were fortunate enough to see a group of four horses plus lots of evidence on the ground of where they had been. These are very fine looking horses. SL TFTC
My drive back to Brisbane required a stop off in Mackay to see a friend. In the morning I saw this new series of caches and thought there is no way I will be able to get any by the time I get there 8 hours away. I headed down the highway and while getting closer I saw that the FTF’s were still available. Within an hour of the first cache I made a decision to go for a couple and see where it gets me, I’d be happy with ten.
This one was on my list to collect on the way home so it was a bonus to collect a few in the series as well. The cache has been in a fire of recent and the cap is a little cracked and not fitting properly. The contents were ok just the same and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was back to my series of FTFS on Lowmead road.

Heading home today after a really lovely couple of weeks away. This was a cache that we targeted along our route. We were glad it was a quick find and we happily signed the log. Many thanks for placing the cache here that brought us here to see this lovely town.
Cheers and happy caching!

Glad we turned off to get this cache. A very cute small town with a big school. Met some dogs too cache was found all ok
Found on a week away going from Mackay to Bundaberg.
This is why I geocache.
This is a quaint little town that I would never have visited otherwise.
A quick find.

First one on our trip home. Found it nice and quickly as the cows watched on. TFTC!
Quick find while in the area. Wanted to target a cache in this LGA whilst staying in Hervey Bay and travelling up to Bundaberg for the day. Two birds with one stone.
Day trip to 1770 decided to stop on the way and do a couple of caches, nice and easy spot. TFTC!
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found. Currently, heading north towards Rockhampton for our next house sit, so doing a little caching as we go, between visits to the beach, which I really enjoyed.
Today, we travelled from Bargara to Ububo (on the Gladstone Monto Road) What a beautiful drive, with only about 2km of Bruce Hiway driving. Stopped at Rosedale for morning tea - AKA Coffee and Cache.
This was an easy find, while dogs in the house adjacent barked, and the lady waved at us. The container is slightly damaged (due to fires) but not wet inside.
Thanks Ladyscrap for the hide.

**Doesnt need maintenance at all**
Container is a little burnt due to fires in the area back in December 2019, but logbook was in perfect health.
We stopped at the nearby Rosedale Tavern where the food is delicious and the beer nice and cold. Cheap camping if anyone is interested -$5 a night.
Cheers Ladyscrap.

On our way to bundy for the day to do some geocaching so had to stop and get this one. As soon as we pulled up i knew exactly where to look. A quick sign of the log and we were off to the next one. TFTC
A little detour off the main road. Container has had a close encounter but still serving purpose. T4T$
Today we drive from Bororen to Bundaberg. We found a few Caches along the way. we say thank you to the CO !
