We had a major fire destroying most of Boranup Forest. I will check the cache when the area is reopened again.

Enjoyed the 4wdriving and short walk to this one. The trees around here are gorgeous and worth the time to explore the bush. Tftc
Found it after a bumpy ride and a short sweet little walk. Awesome cache! So much stuff in there too! Left a few things in there.
A nice weekend away in Augusta and Margaret River.
Quick find here. Tftc sl tnln

Found while taking a drive through the forest. Love finding ammo tins in the bush. TFTC
Tftc. First one for 2017. Not sure how we got here. But we enjoyed the walk. Now to find the car again...
In Boranup forest we saw the largest Karri trees so far. Very impressive! Apparently there were also many Kookaburra's around, sometimes it got very noisy there . Thanks for this cache!
TFTC! Had a lovely couple of days away with the Geowife, which ironically Cravo10 and ItsKate had booked into the same town as us for the weekend.
With strict instructions on how many caches I could get from the geowife it was a bit like pulling teeth to grab some caches and had to trade off buying a few extras for her to get "just one more"!! This would have to be some of the most expensive caching I've done for some time!!
We were lucky as the Geowife loves a sleep in some pre breakfast caching is allowed, which saw us renting bikes from the hair marron on Brussel highway (highly recommended) and tackling a bunch of the rails to trails series and the caches around wharncliffe mill, which was a huge amount of fun.
This weekend has got me extremely interested in completing the cape to cape track, so we may be back down this way sooner than we otherwise would have. It was a great weekend with some lovely views, awesome wineries, some breweries and who can't resist the olive oil and chocolate factory!! Thanks to the local COs

So a little get away down south was on order just a short stay to enjoy the tourist attractions or just some of our favourite food and beverage places. I will be honest B12 told me he was heading down and I thought a great time to catch some caches with him down there.
It didn't take long for the partners to soon see through the "coincidence" however luckily the 2 ladies love a sleep in and made for enough time to find a handful in the mornings.
Day 5 of my Cape to Cape hike (today's stretch was 25km, starting near Contos and ending at Hamelin Bay), and it was nice to get a pleasant change of scenery with this stretch of the trail going away from the coast and through the bush. Some nice wildflowers (I always love seeing donkey orchids!) were on display. GZ was about 10m off for me today, but I was very grateful for the clue which helped me make the find without too much difficulty. Beautiful walk, and only saw one other human (at the Trig lookout) the entire time I was in Boronup Forest. Thanks for placing this geocache in the area eric.sonja, gives added interest for Cape to Cape hikers like me.
Great drive through this stunning forest! We would have come anyway but the cache is an added bonus!
Out and about for Beks boranup birthday bike bash we rode near to here and came up the track to find the cache tftc
Tftc after 2 years finally last time got within 14 metres and batteries went flat
Drove along the little old logging roads from the Boranup lookout cache. Had to hide near the cache as there was a few walkers using the track today. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
4wd helped...did deviate a bit though. Got your cow, will get it closer to the departure lounge. Tftc
Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot with us. Out on a day off to find a nearby FTF when I picked up this one. We used to go camping and surfing here in we will have to visit again sometime.
Woohoo !!! Found It !!! Out caching with JimmyA* and this was one of our finds for the arvo.
Great Drive in amongst the massive trees, could have driven around there all day

Day 1 of a 4 day cape to cape trek with some muggle buddies! and hopefully not the only cache I can snag on our way to Yallingup.
After giving the speil about what geocaching is about I had help in looking and one of my (maybe not so much now) muggle buddies alerted me to its location!
Thanks eric.sonja! I love this area!

Easy find. My favorite bit of forest in the South West. Lots of wild flowers and pretty orchids this time of the year. TFTC.
This is a very personal GC to me as my dad grew up here. Donovan road is named after my pop who lived down on the farm at boranup for many years . I was very exited to show my partner where my dad grew up as the scenic views are awesome! and we managed to get within 100m of GZ in my lowered 2004 Astra coupe tftc! my personal favourite !!
Was able to drive quite close to the cache today, we even got to walk a bit of the Cape to Cape track. TFTC.
Took a detour on the way out.
Geo Brother can"t follow Geo Sisters directions.

Lovely part of the Forrest. Quick and easy find by Geokid together with badhose. TFTC!
TFTC - eric.sonia. Camped out at Boranup to do some Cape to Cape walks. Nice to find some caches along the way. Gad 2 goes at this one. Left it a bit late in the day and even though we were on the money, it got too dark. Tried again the next day and voila! a nice easy find and a pleasant walk on the track. Left Urch's TB and swapped dental floss for a Turkish bookmark.
Our day of walking was close to wrapping up, I shot ahead so I could be assured of grabbing this one. Just off the cape to cape walking track, it was in a handy spot, good sized container as well.
Lovely cool walk through the karri trees. Day 6 of our Cape to Cape walk. TFTC. Favourite point for being close to the track.
While camping in Boranup thought we would check out your cache. It was only our second cache and it was great.
We parked at the suggested location and while Mrs Blingg watched the Blue and other coloured wrens flitting in the udergrowth I jogged the 1km to the cache ( a nice easy find after getting there) signed the log and jogged back

Wow this forrest is beautiful, thanks for the hide (and also not making it too scratchy to get to). TNLN.
Great cache. Thanks for the walk. Another reason why I love geocaching! Great hide as well - I thought I would find it easily, but took a bit of looking. Too many geo-paths.
We could have saved ourselves many Ks of bush driving if only we had read the description first. Ah well it is a beautiful area and we enjoyed it all.
