A recent fallen gum has increased the challenge, it is still accessible with a scramble from below.Regards from Victourer
Visited Site. Cache is in good condition. Added new Noter. Changed the Hint to better reflect it's Position.Regards from Vic
I was in Warburton and took a walk along the *O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail* towards Milgrove to find the collection of caches placed along this section of it. I had found #3 and #4 in this series about a decade ago when I was chasing *unloved caches* so it is about time I started to find the rest.
Thanks **Nutcache** for putting this one out there... and the **Cache Guardians** for keeping it alive.

Easy find but the clue was wrong wanted to see what it said nevertheless fun cache if your visiting the Aquaduct at Warburton
Out for a lovey stroll today trying to stay cool in the shade of these trees.
Lucky I came in at the right angle and with my height spotted the cache straight away..I was sprung by muggles climbing back up...I'm didnt half look suss lol..
Don't look at the hint it's wrong.

Have dropped daughter off at diabetes camp and spending the day geocaching. Enjoyed a short walk along the trail to GZ and sent muggle sister into the undergrowth. cache in good order. TFTC.
Cool hide on a nearly spring day. Description slightly misleading but coordinates pretty close. Look low and hard. Piper and Jesse.
Nice early morning doddle to get a FTF further down the trail. GPS all over the shop so read back over old logs to get a bead on this one, the hint is a little deceptive perhaps?!? All in good order and signed post sanitizing!
This was a trip down or should I say up memory lane for me as my parents lived in Surrey Road and I loved walking up this hill and along the aqueduct which back then had water flowing in it. Really enjoyed walking this track again TFTC Nutcache
After being up in this area earlier in the week, I wasn't expecting to be back any time soon. But since I was back, I thought I would collect more caches, that I ran out of time getting last time.
My GPS took me down onto a nice overgrown trail towards this grocache. I think I searched everywhere else before finding it in the pretty obvious place.
Certainly didn't expect this many walkers on this aqueduct trail in the rain.
Thanks for the cache Nutcache

On our local trail !!! Love it such a great cache !!! Took us a few minutes but was well hidden. Lots of swaps for my kids. They loved it.
After reading the previous logs, we had an idea where to look. Passed it by and then found an easier way to start searching. Very quiet on the trail during our searching - thanks goodness.
But passed, horse riders, bike riders and walkers on our return. Views were stunning along the route. Thanks to Nutcache and the Guardians, this cache is in good condition. Happy to claim 9 months of unloved.

We came down from Queensland to enjoy the cool Victorian weather and the spring flowers. This morning the bicycles were taken out and we started from Warburton caravan park using the rail trail to Millgrove and cycled up Dee Road. The Aqueduct trail was beautiful and quite a piece of work. We left the trail to visit the Redwood forest and downhill we went back to the caravan park for a well earned lunch. It was a very enjoyable tour. Thank you for bringing us here Nutcache and TFTC.
Nice find, haven't gone caching in a while so good to get back into it
It appears that the clue is incorrect as we found it under a fallen tree, after a bit of a search.

I came here two years ago, searched for a good while with no success. Today was a different story, as usual on a return visit, I had no trouble spotting the cache. The hint however is not right, as the container now sits under a log. Thanks Nutcache
Logged this one as a DNF a few years back but after reading BonnyBlack's revised clue decided to take the geodog for a walk up here this morning. The GPS brought me straight to GZ and it looked as I remembered. I followed in the footprints (literally) of the previous few searchers and soon had the cache in hand and signed the log. The logbook is bone dry even after all the recent rains. Thanks Nutcache for another of your challenging hides, but can you please change the clue?
Find #1045
Out on a training walk for the Oxfam Trailwalker with Annoying Tarbit and Loz6032 and our path led us past this cache. I have to confess here that I was rather a passenger... I took the opportunity to fix my socks/feet whilst AT and L did the searching. As much as I like to help with the searching, I like having no blisters on my feet even more! AT made the find in no time and he signed the log and replaced the cache as I finished putting my shoe back on.
I did enjoy the walk along here though and seeing the Aqueduct (whilst also discussing the potential reasons for its non-use with the team too). Very educational.

Find #3229
Out on another training walk for the Oxfam Trailwalker event with Lost and Found 79 and Loz6032. We were covering the last 45km of the trail from Mount Evelyn to Wesburn Park so given the amount of time were out there for it was a pleasant distraction to look for a few caches. Having covered the section form Dee Road long the aqueduct trail (and after a DNF along there) it was good to find this one. I headed slightly off the trial and the right location and soon had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Nutcache.

Out Oxfam training with Burge and Mrs Smoky Bear. Time for a quick cache along the way.
Cheers Nutcache.

Waferthin, Bendsinister and I were out in the area training for Oxfam's Trailwalker event that is scheduled for April 2017. We started at Wesburn and followed this aqueduct trail which happens to be part of the final leg of this event. We left the trail and followed our GPSr. We struggled to find it as our GPS's had us searching far and wide but after allowing the satellites to settle, I managed to spot this cache. SL, replaced and continued on our merry way. TFTC Nutcache!
Out for an Oxfam Trailwalker training hike with BendSinister & robinyang we thought we'd grab this one as we passed, GPS jumping about all over the place, but the cache was found & log signed. Thanks for the cache nutcache.
Found with Waferthin and robinyang. Our second departure from the frankly rather impressive aqueduct trail. Climbing down the hill ever so slightly, we peeked in, behind and between things. It wasn't until we relayed the coords to Robin that we got it sorted. He hadn't had the cache details saved offline before entering this squalid internet-less realm, but in the end his gadget seemed to point him to exactly the right place in no time at all! Thanks Nutcache!
Find it. Thought it might be a bit deeper in but you really can almost see it from the path.
Out on the hunt with geomisses while in Warburton and we thought it's a nice day for a lunch and some caching tftc. Getting a few unloved to awesome.
Nice little walk along a very quiet gravel track in a beautiful area and some unloved time gained here too

Walked in the long way from Dee road car park and spent a long time searching things mentioned in the hint. GPS was not helping on this occasion, jumping around. Will have to come back another day.
Walking with a group from the Catholic Walking Club. They were quite impressed with the location and contents. (A couple of BIG objects in there!) Took nothing. Thanks.
I was keen to start a few caches out this way this afternoon and I made this a quick find while out for a walk along the aqueduct, thanks Nutcache for the cache and for the much needed exercise.
A quick easy find, could almost see the cache from the track, have tried to to make it better hidden. Thanks for the cache Nutcache.
beautiful area, but there's been a bit of bulldozer work in the vicinity of ground zero, and I'm not sure if that's had an effect on the cache.
I followed the jumpy GPS off the main aquaduct trail walk to a lower bulldozed path that runs along side of it but was unsuccessful in my search.
As the previous finder states that the cache has wandered perhaps a new clue could be given

Had a lovely dinner In warburton and decided on a few caches before it got dark. In the town I only had multi hour multis to do so headed up here. Last time I went along in was in 1992 and I need to come back more often. Beautiful spot so gets a favourite from me.
I think the cache has wondered as it is no longer under rocks behind a tree but where it is now should make it a quicker find.
Tftc took a tb

Nearing the end of the Oxfam Trailwalker I took the opportunity to get a cache near the trail for my daily cache. This was found in good condition with a working pen. Despite exhaustion I found the section of the Aqueduct trail that we walked to be beautiful scenic and interesting.
We found this early in the morning of our second day on the Oxfam Trailwalker. We were pretty tired and sore but this just seemed like too much of a good opportunity to pass up. Drjim7 didn't muck around and we were soon on our way. This was a very pleasant part of the trail and I was glad that this was added to the route this year. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC SL TNLN - beautiful walk amongst ancient gums and tree ferns. Easy enough find and worth the hike.
Was on a hike along the Aquaduct Track with the 1st Vermont Scouts and this cache was along the route so what an opurtunity. Introduced some Scouts to Geocaching and then answered lots of questions. Hopefully some new cachers. Thanks for having a cache in this beautiful bush area.
Found it with Irontoad today. I had sent him down the wrong place so he made me go down to get this cache. We had previously walked along this trail but further along and this part was certainly more interesting than the part we previously walked. Easy find once I found ground zero on the gps. Took nothing, left nothing and signed log. Thanks for the cache Nutcache.
Found with kamce. After being missdirected by agents of evil Aliens A small agustment had the cache found.

Today I set myself 2 missions:
- Find 12 Caches to get to the Magical 1000 finds on geocaching.com
- Place the last 5 caches in my new series (Out next week)
Mission Acoumplished
Another cache along this fantastic trail, and my #1000. The weather was starting to come in, rain clouds forming, so I had to make this quick. In the end a nice easy find.
Thanks again to Nutcache for the hide, very happy to make this one my #1000.

Found with enforcermike. Great ride along the aquaduct trail... until I stopped looking where I was going and faceplanted bike and all to the bottom of the aquaduct! Whoops! Queen of un-coordination! Whoops! TNLN. TFTC.
14:45 #144 found with Hally_31. great to see the aqueduct, might ride along it one day.

Staying at Millgrove School camp with friends for the weekend we decided to enjoy a lovely walk along the acquaduct. Great weekend in one of my favourite parts of Melbourne. Nice easy find. A tree had fallen over the path, but as true adventures that did not stop us.

Found this with some geocaching newcomers after finishing a training course in the area. They were very excited to find their first (or in one case second) cache.
Headed to GZ from the Dee Rd carpark and had to choose between it and another in the series that was in the opposite direction.
Quite a pretty area but would have been better on bike! Might come with one next time and get the whole series.
TNLN SL TFTC.
NB When returning it, hide it well, ensuring it is well covered. There is some water in the cache although the log remains dry.

Took me a while to find wAy into this cache but got here eventually. 3rd look proved lucky. Tftc.
1195 Very nice gentle stroll the GZ where we hunted around two other trees before settling on the correct one. Took pity on the TB and will move him/her/it along shortly. TFTC Nutcache
With recent rain very obvious I was very pleased that it held off while I was here. I decided to do the walking option and thoroughlyenjoyed the stroll. The cache was an easy find in the first, obvious place that I looked. Thanks Nutcache for another good one.
Over half the series done, two to go, but they'll have to wait for another time. Found in the company of pprass and co, and nutcache. We found this just before lunch and meeting more caching comrades. Thanks nutcache for the series, and the interesting commentary along the way.
The bike trail looked nice and flat here, but the guys looked a bit tired, and they had only done half of it!
We hadn't brought our bikes, so we walked to this one. Looking forward to doing the rest of the series.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
At this point we met up with a bunch of other cachers who had been doing things a little harder than us it seems. While we waited for whatever or whoever we were waiting here for we ducked up the trail to find the cache and finding was made easier by the skid marks from very recent previous finders.
Thanks again Nutcache

Found at 1.45 pm in the company of squalid and Nutcache and two muggles - a friend and a relative.
The idea was to do the whole series by bike in one go. Start at 10.00am and finish at 1.00pm so that we could meet Ian & Penny, Robmc and Chewinprickles at 1.30pm in Warburton and then we would continue as a group to do some more caches.
After some minor set backs re the itinerary, we had to finish today's attempt of doing all of the series by cutting away at No. 1.
The ride was very entertaining with the guys providing a good mix of chatter with the views providing a stunning backdrop.
Thanks Nutcache for bringing us this series and for joining us in this attempt.

5th find of the day and 2002nd total find at 14:46.
Initially we had joined Pprass and Squalid for a geocaching weekend, but as they have gone off to do the trail by bike, we have branched off on our own..
We attempted this cache in the company of Chewinprickles & RobMC (who joined us just at the right time) whilst the rest of the group waited for the bike transporter to arrive.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks Nutcache for the cache.

Found by penny/wilbur while walking the dog along the Aqueduct Nice easy one to find no had work involved.21/11/08
Oh my goodness, I think its about time I loged this casche. Sorry for the delay. Found with Muzza and Alansan. Many thanks for the cache. 6th for the day. Same log as previous as I can' t remember the day. Sorry
We weren't sure whether we would attempt this cache because the terrain rating of 3 concerned one of the group. However, we did a drive along the best road to walk in from and realised that there was nothing to be worried about.
After a short but enjoyable walk to GZ, the cache was found immediately. There was no concensus between the GPSs, but it only took one to be correct. When the cache was replaced, that GPS showed 18 metres, so it was more by good luck that the satellite gods were shining on it at the time of the find. Otherwise, with the tree cover, we could have been there for ages before the cache was found.
Thanks for a lovely walk in a great area, for introducing to this walking track, and for the cache.

After a little drive I used the Sussex st entry and had a short ride to GZ. The cache was found without much trouble. When I went to get the cache what sounded like a deer went crashing off through the bush. After that I felt like a ride so went to yuonga road and back.
The Golden Goose TB visited.

Well I gave the weekend warriors long enough to find the cache before heading for the FTF.I decided to come in from Dee road not sure what I was thinking as I new of another pedestrian access point very close to the cache. Any way it was a nice day for the trip to GZ. I lost count of the amount of times I got busted by the board of works as a kid for being along this trail, I guess I can say i have actually seen this channel full of water and flowing. I know my eyes are good but I was surprised that I could see the cache from the track, so the find was nice and easy.
Thanks Nutcache for the cache.
