Found after walking through Katherine looking at the murals. Log bk only found. TFTC
I had a DNF of this on 12/Jul/2016, because I was too trusting of the 1.5T rating. That's too low. I fetched a stool today to stand on and made the find. Great to change that to . I was able to sign the log as today it was dry, but it's in bad condition. TFTC CHEDENT.
On our first road trip of the Top End of Australia. After spending 5 days in Darwin and 3 days in Kakadu we arrive today in Katherine. This was our first find in this town. It was a must find for a TB we have that is interested in visiting all things relating to racing. Thank you for bringing us here and TFTC.
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australia and down the coast of W.A. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.
Had to use something to make me taller.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can enjoy finding it.

Found the log but the container is missing, as mentioned by a previous cacher . Unfortunately we didn’t have a replacement handy today, so signed and replaced the log as found. TFTC
The container is jammed and the log book is exposed to the weather. Very hard to sign
Travelling again with ilook4geo and heading north to pick up some of the caches around the Katherine region. This was one we found after a quick search, at least the log book was found on its own with no protection. As it has been wet the pages were very dirty and stuck together making it very difficult to be able to sign it. Thanks go to CHEDENT for placing this cache.
Hunting along with goingplaces2 and picking up caches they have not done before. Enjoyed each discovery and adding names to each log where possible. Couldn't sign this one properly. TFTC.
Found the day after an exciting speedway meet in early July
Cache nut exactly where expected and very close to hundreds of Speedway goers
Left a star to shine on the great events

Needed a hoist to get to gz but still unable to locate. About to log a dnf when Mick spotted something sticking out from under rock . Was log sheet in plastic shredded bag . So signed log and replaced bag where it should have been . Placed a tiny rock on top to hold in place

The gps seemed a bit all over the place here. I read the hint and looked around, testing every knob and looking in every nook and cranny. Then the gps sorted itself out and I found the cache much lower than expected.
Found today with petebev, 2beez and 2As as we hang around Katherine on our holiday picking up caches.
Wasn't where we thought but easy find once realised.
Thanks CHEDENT

Found on the ground, not covered just in a plastic bag. We have replaced in the same spot we found it and put a rock on top of it.
Making our way to Darwin from Perth and stopping in Katherine for the night! Grabbing some caches along the way. Thank you.
Nice easy find. Lid has separated from it casing.
Have placed log which I found on the ground into a new ziplock bag.
And covered the cache with some rocks up high.
Visited 3 TB.

Love a challenge! No climbing was necessarily walking back with a smily and muddy shoes
Something about the cache:

We found this after reading some old logs.
We had to use a stone to get the lid loose.

Something about the day:

From october 16 to november 6 2019, my wife (lp.dk) and I visited Australia for the first time.
After a flight of more than 20 hours, we landed in Darwin. After 2 nights in the city we continued in a rented car first towards Kakadu National Park and later towards Alice Springs.
In Alice Springs we were picked up in an off-road bus and went on a 3-day trip into the wilderness, with overnight stays in a tent close to Uluru.
Back in Alice Springs we drove all the way to Adelaide, from where we flew to Sydney, where we visited our son who has settled there.
After 5 days in the city, we flew back to Singapore, which we visited for 2 days before the final flight back to Copenhagen.
In total, the trip lasted just over 3 weeks.
On the trip we would like to find / visit as many Earth caches, Virtual and Webcams as possible, but also the other kinds of caches when possible.
================================================================================*
No trade.
Found together with lp.dk
Thanks to CHEDENT for this cache.
Found the 21-10-2019, as cache number: 11963.
Greetings from Denmark.

Checked this today on an afternoon walk- still in the hiding spot. Had to use a rock to help us get to it.
No luck, got JB to help who is taller but could not budge the things!!! Thanks anyway!
Quick find while spending a few days in Katherine before heading down the west coast. This was a great series.TFTC
Travelling from A to B and grabbing a few caches as we go

I've had a few attempts here. Not sure if I'm missing the obvious or what but no smiley for me. Thanks anyway.
Heading out to Katherine Gorge today wanting to finish this trail. Previous log hints helped with the find. All in good repair TFTC
Out for a walk today before another swim at the hot springs. Geohubby used something lying around to prise this open. Tftc
Headed toward town for the morning and decided to grab this trail along the way. Nice easy park and grab, making this a trail we really enjoyed tftc

Pa took me out driving this morning around the outer parts of Katherine, mostly towards the west. As we drove back into town I asked him to come up here as yesterday I found a throw down and after chatting with the CO, I have decided to come back and remove it and rewrite my log.
The original cache is still exactly where I thought it should be, but I was distracted by the replacement. Also it was very difficult for me to retrieve the original cache. Today Pa did that for me and now I have signed the log.
Thanks for yet another wonderful cache in this series Chedent. It gets a fave from me.

Found on the ground. Have no idea where it came from. Have replaced maybe harder maybe easier. TFTC SL. PS. Not a tobacco tin???
Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.
Staying a few days in Katherine to attempt 'lots' of the local caches we hope.
A great way to start our week.

Woohoo another great hide, found after a short search. Now for the next one.....TFTC
Absolute bonus that the speedway was not operational today as we think that would have rendered retrieval completely impossible. Much clambering was undertaken before the cunning hide revealed itself. TFTC.
During our holidays in Australia we travelled a lot and searched some caches. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.
DNF. I gave this a good search, taking the 1.5 star terrain into account, so no climbing.
A very fun path of caches.
Accidentally discovered this spot by using it to balance. TFTC

The big move from Townsville to Mandurah WA. 5000km and lots of caches!:) Knocked out the drive from TSV to 3ways and up really quickly as we had driven that road so many times and there were no caches left for us ;(. lol. So naturally we wer really excited to see caches popping up starting in Larrimah we hadn't done.
second time lucky....finally found the little beast and converted DNF to smiley face

Today we tackled this series of caches and were impressed with the variety of hides and challenges we had finding them. We appreciate the time and effort gone into the placment of the caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Quick find here this morning. There are only so many places you can hide a cache here. It was very deserted , so a quick log and we were on our way. Great hide though and deserves a favourite point. TFTC
Checked on cache container found in place with new log book supplied by Roostaman I suspect. I gently replaced cache to make it easier for the next geocacher because I needed handy geocaching tools to extract cache.

Another trip around Katherine while staying here for a few days.
Hardly any muggles around and some good quick finds.
Took a while and I had no idea what the clue meant, but should have looked there earlier.
Thanks for the cache CHEDENT,

Found easily in the middle of the week. I am sure it would not be so easy on a race night. The tobacco tin is not there but the log is still in a safe place.

Finally found this one after being thwarted by giant puddles last wet season. Still ended up with muddy feet today with this one. Took a bit of looking around for the right hidey hole as well. Luckily we were out of sight of the road as we managed to gain access to the cache with the aid of a rock.
