On a day walk from the Oosterdam and I talked my friends into walking down to this rock. They went on a head while I searched for the cache. Previous logs gave me a hint to search a bit further away from the coordinates.

We hiked up from our villa to check out Skaros Rock. Fun cache and nice hide! We loved the church at the far end of the point. Thanks from Minneapolis! FP!

Tftc! Very nice view. Coordinates are a bit off. We looked more in the dieection of the ruins and then we found it quickly.

Santorini is so beautiful everywhere. The Skavros rock have been on our bucketlist to go. Didn't expect that long descend to the GZ, but great exercise for us to a stunning view. Thanks CO for the story and also cool hiding spot. Found the cache and quickly head back to Oia for our sunset experience! FP for the amazing location!

Holidays in Greece and logged as "B-Team" with my friends LemonHope (from B-arcelona), Lockter (from B-alaguer) and me (from B-adalona).
Wonderful trip visiting not only Athens, but also Nafplio, Epidauro, Mycenes, Argos, Ancient Corinto, and Santorini (Oia, Fira and Imerovigli).

--4th day, Santorini villages--
3.30h... our alarm clock awakes very soon. At 6 o'clock there's a flight to Santorini we should take.
After several hours, Fira welcomes us and we start a long walk to see fira and also Imerovigli. I love this island.
A rain started then so a kind man took us again to Fira and there... Bus to Oia where we will spend the rest of the day.
Once in Oia... A wonderful started to shine until the wonderful sunset there... then back to fira to have dinner and sleep.
Wonderful day... INDEED!

About the cache:

Trobat juntament amb Jaumet i Lockter durant unes petites vacances per Grècia.
Ha estat una experiència increïble, hem estat per Atenes, Corinto, Argos, Epidauro, Nauplia. Hem anat a la illa de Santorini on hem vist Fira, Imerovigli, Oia, Nea Kameni.

El cuart dia vàrem agafar un vol cap a l'illa de Santorini. A Fira vam caminar fins Imerovigli on vam fer el virtual de la roca Skaros i el cache, un lloc increïble amb vistes fantàstiques. Després vam anar a Oia on vam fer els caches i vàrem veure el poble, la llibreria fantàstica, un gat moníssim i un contenedor Increíble. La posta de sol increíble desde Oia.

TFTC Alex and Machi. Took a while to spot it. Coords a bit off

Coords about 10 or so metres out - took us a while but lifejourney4two finally nailed it!

Thanks to my husband‘s sharp intuition and eyes... and after a wonderful walk we could find the box. Thank you so much for attracting us to that spot!

Our first challenge was to find out how to go to Skaros rock formation starting from Imerovigli area. We wend to the left, then to the rght, and eventually found the correct path.
When we arrived near the cache, it was difficult to locate it as our GPS was definitely not sure ...So after a while, we used the old technique "where would I place it ?", and we went straight for the logical spot. Here it was !
Both TBs were missing but we already knew they were not in the cache.
Please thank Bill for seeking the best views - this place is really breathtaking and a wonderful view, especially at sunset when we came.

Searched for a while but could not find. Location marks one side of the path, while comments refer to the view of Thira and the opposite side of the path. Moving a rock in an landscape of rocks...

On our way Fira-Imerovigli. The rest of the family was waiting at the restaurant looking at me posing there:) it is a wonderful place not so reachable for most lazy tourists. It was hot, not crowded and the view it breathtaking. Thanks a lot!

found with Spalici-sk on our short visit of this beuatiful island...here is nice that not many tourist want to walk all those stairs down & up again...so easy to log without to be discovered by non cachers

Was unable to go all the way to the cache as traveling with a group. However, I plan to come back and find this cache. The location is awesome.

Auf dem Weg von der Hauptstadt nach Oia kamen wir auch hier vorbei.Der Aufstieg über die Stufen war mühsam, die Sicht aber fantastisch. Der Cache war gut zu finden. DfdC

It was far too hot to try this at noon. We loved the hike but the hint was not helpful when the entire location is rocks, and it leaves you dependent on gps only. I think our gps may have been off as it had us pinpointed to a kind of precarious location off to the right of the trail as you're facing the rock. We were sad to not find anything but it was a nice hike. A clear spoiler picture would help.

náš pobyt na santorini byl nejen plný perfektního koupání v cistém mori, krásného prohrátí na teplém slunícku, ale také výprav za cache, kterých jsme nekolik našli. respektive krome jedné všechny, ke kterým jsme se vydali.
toto byla jedna z tech, které se zadarili .
najít ji nebylo težké, ale napred vyjít z thery do imerovigli a pak sestoupit ke krabicce a potom zpet bylo v horku trochu nárocnejší.

Wir machten 12 Tage Ferien auf Santorini , dabei die erste Zeit die Insel erkundet und Dosen gesucht, viele Infos gesammelt (für Earthcaches) und zum Schluss noch ein wenig am Strand ?? relaxt.

Back in Santorini, today we visit the North area. We have a nice walk from Fira till this Amazing location. The sun burns the skin today and the wind is a good company. The views are breathtaking. We find the cache but no TBs are inside. TFTC

Hello and greetings from germany.

Heute lag unser Kreuzfahrtschiff vor Santorin. Wir setzten mit Tenderbooten nach Thira über und nahmen dann die Seilbahn nach oben. Anschließend wanderten wir bis zum Felsen. Nach ein wenig suchen war der Cache dann entdeckt. Eine fantastische Aussicht. Grandios.

Auf unserer Kreuzfahrt auch in Santorin Halt gemacht.
Den Landgang heute genutzt um uns gemeinsam Enboeri auch hier ins Lpgbuch einzuschreiben.
TFTC und HCG aus Niederfrohna.

Unsere Kreuzfahrt führte uns nach Santorin. Eine wunderschöne Insel. Und so nahmen wir diese Dose zum Anlass, eine Wanderung zu machen. Wir hatten herrliche Sichten, hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Und nach einiger Suche konnten wir auch die Dose finden.

TFTC! Very nice views of Caldera. The place is worth the effort even in a sunny summer day.
The coordinates are a bit off. After searching a few minutes under every rock I have read the description again and realized I was looking in the wrong place. Then I quickly found the box (about 10m away from the coordinates)
