Out in the PeuGEOt today with little littlecogs cache hunting in the Stawell/Halls Gap area.Mrs Cogs has been doing all the driving today so as this was the last cache today this was for her to find. Had to hold little litttlecogs back.TFTC
It was my second day of driving back home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh, taking my time driving home and finding caches along the way. Today started out as a quite cold and brisk morning though as I eventually got into the caching I began to warm up. The plan for the day was to do a few caches in and around the Beaufort area before continuing the trip slowly caching my way back to Adelaide. My afternoon consisted of just making my way back along the highway, finding caches along the way; along with visiting the waypoints of a few certain multies. All caches were found in good condition before I finished the day in Horsham. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9810, at 03:25 pmTFTC
A great little bit of history here. Thank you McAdies for placing and maintaining Doctor's Hill for us to find today.
Nice east find. Interesting history. Who would have thought there was on e a hospital here, however rudimentary. TFTC TNLN
Found with Jamesta18 today while driving back to Radelaide, after attending a concert in Melbourne We decided to do some caches on the way home to break up the 8 hr drive Peaceful spot, nothing like a good monument to mark an important time in history. Took a TB from Germany to visitTFTC
Found on the way home from a trip to Melbourne with Kyliesmiley. For some reason it was really cold at this spot, enough for me to put a jumper on. TFTC
Found with danielandrew, left 1931 ford for someone else to enjoy, cheers for the hide!
Had a job to do in town and figured I'd quickly try find a cache on the way back. This was a nice quick easy find. Tftc
It was time for another adventure out west. After deciding not to camp overnight nearby, it was a zero dark thirty start with a few hours of driving before the sun rose. Well, I can only assume the sun was up as it was not visible through the fog and mist. After a couple of events and CITOs it was time to find a few caches.
Starting the journey back to Ballarat. A nice quick find here and an interesting location in times gone by.
Thanks McAdies for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

On way to Adelaide to visit my family for the weekend. Easy to find. Thanks McAdies for bringing me here.
We always joke on our roadtrips about historical markers just being another brass plaque on a rock and never stop, but these caches are making us stop and actually appreciate the history of our amazing country so thankyoh
Thank you. This is my first geocache. I have driven past the sign for this monument many times. Interesting read.
Bonus - I found the cache!

Quick find thanks and it's in good condition. Interesting history, and nice place for a short stretch.
Thank goodness for geocaching to break up long drives. Another piece of history that we wouldn't have learnt about without geocaching. Signed with initials. TFTC
There once was a man called Pete,
Who suffered due to the heat.
He felt very ill
So went to the hill
And was jabbed right in his seat.

Heading home from silo trails and stopped to find this cache. Easy find but in need of maintenance. Container broken TFC
Not bad. Someone poor lad had a rough day and left his safety glasses behind. Cheers
This cache turned out to be at a beautiful little stop virtually on the side of the highway, although we did pull in in with the trailer and turn around in front of the cairn. A bit of wandering around following the finding device and I found a nice little pile of usual hiding debris with the cache in place. Unfortunately the lid of the ca cache container has separated from each part and is now pretty ineffective. I know I have what would have been a reasonable substitute in the car, but we just couldn’t find it. Instead I double the fairly damp log book. I hope it doesn’t get mouldy.
Log book a little damp after the recent weather. Thanks for placing the cache here- like the history!
A sad reminder of a desolate place this would have been. Good history lesson. TFTC.
