Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Only DNF on our High Country getaway. Searched everywhere. No luck. Is this one MIA?
Spent 15 minutes checking all the spots I could think of with no luck.
Hope it is still there.
Hope it is still there.
We flew in expecting to find this like the other Red Earth - but lots of searching left us cache-less! After reading previous logs perhaps it's come loose? Would love to finish the series to find the mystery cache so I hope it reappears on our second fly-by
The leaders of the teams were enjoying the walk and like any good walk one must carry a drink in a can. It seems we were too slow and by the time we got near the cache the navigators were on their way back with another cache successfully logged.
Many thanks to Team RooBok for the cache. I have checked and the cache was replaced properly and we did not see any muggles, but we still feel bad that the cache has disappeared.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "recreational coffee drinking club" Coffee Clan.

Another find on our afternoon out with Mr & Mrs Coffee, the men were way to slow for this one. As we headed down to find the cache the girls were on their way back. This pleasant park could sure use some water to help it look the way it was meant to, another effect of this drought.
Thanks again Team RooBok

Did this series with Bel's parents for their introduction to caching. Made for a fun few hours. TFTC.
Don't know where this strange cache container should have been placed but it was on the ground more or less in the open as we approached. It looks as if the attachment method needs to be more robust. The log was in sad repair also but we signed on an appropriate scrap. Some urgent maintenance is needed. The cache was placed back in a convenient spot that probably isn't the original location. TFTC
I had to get a bit dirty to find this one but I got there in the end. The method of attachment is no longer effective but it seems to stay in place where it is. A nice little wetland, thanks for bringing me here.
Cheers,

Found at 1450. Parked close by and after a short walk to GZ, the cache was quickly found in a container I've never seen used before. A nice relaxing area. Pity there's no water around.
Thanks.
Thanks.
1592. Found this one lying in the mud. The attaching stuff has detached so I replaced the cache in a slightly different spot but you may need to look at it.

Thought I would do a few caches while I waited for my daughter’s train from the city. This was a nice park. TFTC. Cheers Ric.
Final of 6 caches on the playground tour of Croydon/Mooroolbark with my 2-year old geokid. Found no worries. Thanks for the cache.

Found with Swaggies. Ditto on needing some maintenance. Bring a bucket or 10,000 to fill the poor little pond too when ya do this cache.

This was a very easy find because it was lying on the ground as we approached GZ. In fact I kicked it away thinking it was another piece of litter just lying around. This cache does need a bit of maintenance because the "sticky" stuff on top is no longer. I think the addition of a "heavy" Hot wheels type car to the cache caused the overall weight to exceed the glue strength and so it hit the deck. We removed the offending item and repositioned the cache on a ledge, but you may have to reposition it again. TNLN thanks Team RooBok for the cache.

Well that was a novel container - haven't seen one of those before! Nice reserve, thanks.
If there was water I think we'd all be thankfull really but I must admit it made it nice and easy to get this cache. Was a lot harder to get the aeroplane out of the cache that someone had left before us.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
There wasn't any water, but it was damp enough to get muddy.
The cache wasn;t hard to find, but getting the toy out of the container took quite a while.
Thanks, Robmc.

Our first find (that wasn't accidental)! An easy one to start off with, thanks.
Finally found it this afternoon! After jogging past several times without gps, but a look at logs/hint I kept coming back empty handed!! Must admit that I was expecting a different looking cache container (great anti-muggle idea) & different location because of the talk about water.....
Thanks heaps,

Found at 4.00pm GAFF1 (second time 'round). We approached the familiar pond and this time the cache was found exactly where the GPS indicated. An intersting container that maybe interpreted by muggles to be rubbish, which hopefully will be overlooked. Thanks Team RooBok - hope the water doesn't get much higher.
Active again. New container with no pen so BYO. Bring some Wellys too 'cos there is water at the moment.
Nice early day caching with barcoder, Sorry to say we didn't find this cache. Maybe it needs to be checked we think it may have gone. Phone Eric From Actsyouth group and he gave us directions. All we got was wet and dirty .
Seems this one has gone walkabout too. After replacing Red Earth 3 not too long ago, I'll have to replace this one too. Will get to it ASAP.
DNF at 11.15am. We searched all over the structure. Got dirty and then phoned a friend and still couldn't locate it. The water is starting to rise - here's hoping!
Thanks Team RooBok - or is it DelBoy?

Got to gz only for there to be a muggle sitting there! Fortunately he moved along very quickly and I was able to search unseen. Found the cache in its neat hide in the first place I looked. Only trouble was it was the second time that I looked there! Thanks Team RooBok
Nice spot - never been here before, so thanks for taking Everlasting and myself here. Found without any problem. Took Austr(al)ian Racecoin. TFTC .
Accompanied with pwala for the day. She found it. SL. Thanks Team RooBok for organising the cache and hunt.
There was a little bit of water around after the rains and just enough moisture to send Oenze onto his backside as we approached GZ.
After that an easy find though after good rains a bit harder I guess.
Thanks.

Find # 2471 and 13th of the day at 2:00pm accompanied by Feathertop on another clean up the east day out caching. I slipped on the slimey surface and got mu bum all muddy, other than that an easy find. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Team Roobok....
Found @ 1840.
Found with ggkof whilst on our usual Tuesday caching night. We had the area to ourselves, so no problems finding and logging the cache. Left geocoin Austr(al)ian Racecoin.

Found @ 18:40 with Davroy. A very quick find as Davroy had it in hand before I arrived and I thought I was only seconds behind. Gathered clue and signed log then headed of to continue the series. Thanks. TNLNSL
I found our 4th Delboy123 cache at 4:45pm as the 1st of 2 on my Back to the Moo II. I had the place to myself as I entered the park but a couple came into the park from the other side and as she walked on through, he stopped at the park bench right across the lake. Luckily, a large bush blocked his direct view and I was able to retreive, log and replace the cache in peace. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
Nice place even in the dark.
Took little balloon face, left Haribo bear.
TFTC!

My goodness it's dry here. It was another nice, easy find for the two girls out with me today.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Team RooBok. Now onto the GCA cache very near by.

I found this cache with caughtatwork today. I found the cache while caughtatwork was staring up at the sky. I think he let me find this one. Thank you Team RooBok.
Houses overlooking GZ have quite often made me feel a little apprehensive, but it turned out that my concerns here were premature. The park was nice and quiet too, which always helps. TNLN & SL at 5:10pm. Thanks again Team RooBok for the cache - I'm glad I had old boots on today!
It took my GPS a while to settle down but it got me there eventually. I took the other cuff link so I now have the pair and left a coin. Thanks for the series RooBok. Now for the fifth.
Second of the four caches for the day, there were a few dog walking Muggles about so I had a slight wait before I could retrieve this one, sure was dry. Thanks Team RooBok for the cache.

Another short ride after #3 and, once again, great coords had me within 1m of the cache before I even started to look for it . This was another nice bit of park - but it's such a shame that the ponds are totally dry - I can imagine it during wetter times with ducks, frogs, etc and it would really enhance the "liveability" of the neighbourhood. Still, it's not going to have to rain all that much to mean that there'll be some wildlife of the "muddy-footed cacher" variety around this cache .
TNLN
Thanks once more Team Roobok
