Traffic Hazzard is no more, it was consumed by the Orbi-Toll. Thanks to all those who played.
Through the mud and slush we went, past all the road works and found it out in the open. The cache may need to be relocated in the near future otherwise it will be lost in the road work.
Thankyou EcoTeam,

a nice quick and easy cache i dont know about the 1 and a half terrain star though, it should be just 1 star..

Nice easy one - thanks! Stopped in and found it on the way to the Blue Mountains. TNLN.
Too easy. Almost parked on top of it! Was in a race of sorts to beat Simon and a few other cars to the cache. However the Geo-Laser proved to be too nimble and agile for the bigger heavier 4X4's to keep up with. (We did a U turn at the lights that the others just couldn't keep up with!) We actually found the cache, grabbed the log book and had time to replace the container before the the others arrived, just so they wouldn't feel too left out. Aren't we nice! Left two clip carabiners, took a nokia keyring. Thanks Eco's!
found it straight away.. took my gf alone for her first time caching she enjoyed it.. nice quick cache.. took nothing left a ball and keyring
Casey Chambers was on stage at the Wave Aid concert at the SCG. We were listening to the broadcast via MMM. The good news is that I didn't miss much of the performance.
lol...this has to be the quickest i have done. Pulled up to within 1.5m of it then almost tripped over it when retrieving.
TNLNSL - Put another log book in as the other one was full!!!

How could we resit, this cache is nearly a drive by. All you have to do is pull up in the custom built car park and look out to the grass Just how I like em. Thanks
Easy find although it was bucketing down. Found it with the other half and this was her first cache so she grabbed the TB. As it was raining so hard, we left an audio cassette by "Wet Wet Wet"
What an easy find, Drove to within 15M of GZ.
took Nothing
Left TB "Egg on a string"
Thanks for the easy find

Found this one. It might survive as the roadworks appear to be complete and have ended literally metres from this cache. Took model car. Left stuffed kangaroo. Cache in excellent condition.
Dropped in for a look at this one on my way home. I wondered if it was supposed to be where I found it. By the look of the adjacent object someone has plans for this place Ecoteam. TNLN
Swung by today and the arrow was pointing in the vicinity of an M7 worksite. Tried to park, but there was just no way in with all the trucks and heavy vehicles parked there. I would suggest that the best time to attempt this would be at night when the people aren't working and parking would prove less problematic.
Regardless, I wouldn't be confident that this will exist in the coming months as development of this massive intersection continues.

Took Travel Bug. This site could be wiped out at any time now, workmen were not very happy to have me on their work site.
Thanks the Geordy.
Thanks the Geordy.
Sent Webguy Jnr after this one late this afternoon, did not take long to find it.
Quick swaps and off in search of bread we went.

Did this one in the dark on the way home from work. I was quite chuffed because I didn't have a torch with me but still managed to find it. The GPS light helped a little. Forgot to bring swaps.
A quick easy find on our way u the mountains for a day of caching. Thanks Ecoteam
The second for the day, SWAGgers found this one in about two minutes... nice and easy.
[^]
Fantastic hiding spot! I spent 15mins in the dark dodging spiders on this one.
didn't swap anything
Thanx Eco-Team #2

At Last!
Having driven past this cache dozens of times as a passenger for the last couple of months, I finaly get time on my own to stop. It is a frustrating time as a cacher visiting/working in a different city and not getting the opportunity to go caching.
Took TB Bamberger who will be dispatched in Brisbane this weekend.
Thanks
Paul

Came by after work today. Am here visiting from Houston, Texas. Thanks for the geofix! T-Toyboat TB and the wombat; L-Phantom Flyer TB (it reached one destination!) and a US Indian Maiden Dollar Coin (pretty rare and real currency). Thanks for the cache!
Found this one after we (temporarily) bailed on McGuyver.
Was an easy find, great hiding spot but strange location!
Lots of work going on in the area, the hiding spot may not be safe for long

Finally made this one. It appears that civilisation is starting to encroach this area.
Took a torch and left a camera case. The cache is in good condition.

Stpped by this one on our way back from eating Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme.
Nice easy find, had a couple of kids with me but no swaps today.

Hoping to somehow _project_ an air of nonchalance, we followed the GPS around for a bit before relying on the old Now, if I was a geocache, where would I hide? trick.
That worked and we found it in the best possible spot. We took something nice and left something fabulous (hey, it was over a month ago!)
A good break in the western trek Ecodudes.

I wasn't planning to do this one today, but just happened to be driving along the Great Western Highway and saw this cache pop up on my radar... After doing a few U-turns to get where I wanted to be (and doing a fairly good impression of a traffic hazard myself), I found the cache very quickly - nice hiding spot...

Found by Mary & David at 1020. We were heading west to look for another cache and made a small detour to investigate the hazard. Found a nearby parking spot after a couple of missed approaches then positioned the car to minimise observation by a couple of workers across the road. A short search revealed the hiding spot, which we agree is a beauty. The location is a bit noisy though. Took Happy Meal character and left RSPCA Wombat. Thanks to EcoTeam.
Found it - in the dark - What a good spot. Everything is intact.

Parked 5M from the cache! Interesting location.
A bit noisy for my liking though.
No swaps today.

Grabbed this one on the way past on the way back from the NSW Cachers Weekend. The last cache for the day, number 6. Sorry to tell you this GeoKiwi but it is there, not to hard to find either .
Thanks for a great cache Eco Team.
Thanks for a great cache Eco Team.
This is the 3rd time I have been here...still can't find it...has anyone seen it since ThomasS found it on October 3rd!!!!
We found this one with the assistance of a local council worker (Paul Mayor), who was obviously curious as to what we were up to. (He actually came to warn us about snakes). Being from the country, he found it quickly, so we got him to sign his name in the log. I’m sure he was still confused as to what geocaching was all about after he left. But he enjoyed himself.
Took the key tags, and left a tigger.

Second time lucky. Searched in the dark some time ago, ended up in the brown water as the GPSr was sending me all over the place. This time, daylight proved successful and found it within minutes of arriving, although it is not where you would expect it!! Took a PS2 to serial converter and left some night glow key tags.

Wasn't going to let this one beat us so after a week in the sickbed we went back to try our luck (after a further clue from EcoTeam!!!)
Walked straight to it this time. A valuable lesson learnt; don't give up too quickly.
Lesson number 2: don't wear bright red jumpers because there are Riblit spies around the area!!!!
We ended up having a very nice chat and we learnt a thing or two about caching. Thanks Riblit.
P.S. We saw some very pretty LADIES in the area!!!
We left some green tea, a paper clamp and some tattoo bubble gum and took a card game.

After trekking through the long grass we came across an area we thought would be a good hiding spot but there was no cache to be found. Maybe we weren't looking hard enough. We will try again soon.

A nice easy cache as we passed through town. Loved the hidey hole and the geokiddie took a fancy to the minature Santa. So we had to have that and we left a golf ball & woggle.

One of the most enjoyable parts of geocaching is that it can lead you to pristine environments. Sadly this is not one of them. It is right up there with my very own men of trees cache in terms of scenic beauty. Took a deck of cards and left some card game I found down in Canberra.
Quite a good hiding place for the cache.

Stopped off in on my way back for lunch after some work at Penrith. Found the cache after wandering around for a bit (what can you expect on my first cache).
The area is a bit damp after yesterday's rain and the creek a bit higher although the cache is still dry. Extracted the water pistol and deposited 2 BNC T's and 2 PS/2 to 9 pin mouse adaptors.

It was hard to be inconspicuous. Found the cache in a few minutes. We went on dusk which meant we were less obvious but the ground was a little uneven in places so we had to go carefully. Couldn't fit our offering in the cache. Left a paper clip.
Found it
Felt very vunerable doing this one..
Nice spot...not...Just becareful looking around here there was the odd needle in the grass.Took the electronics kit and leave some playing cards from hawaii

Found the location...just couldn't find the the first cache[:S] I was getting very strange looks while at this one. also there has been fresh mulch laid here recently.
Saw a couple of those interesting ladies standing around up the road...thought they only came out at night[:S]

We had red faces at the first WP, but tried to pretend we were gardners (I don't think anyone fell for it)
Interesting location for the final cache, with definitely no risk of flood damage.
Took the fruit bar and left a fuse repair kit.
Gratitude to EcoTeam

NIce one eco team, Had a number of strange looks while tracking this one down, although I seem to get them anyway!.
location 1 was neat, nice a nd tricky.
location 2: not sure about the final location of the cache, but put it back where i found it, Team chaos have definitely flood proofed it.
Hmm, cant remember what i swapped now, the heat must have cause delirium, nevenr mind im sure it was something cool!
Was a very busy area on Saturday morning. Maybe the next time Eco team could pick a nice area to visit? We like to keep our caving overalls for caving not caching.
Watch out for the B-doubles. Got our ACK together, and found the cache a little too close to the waterline, under food debris, so relocated it above flood levels! Took a little tool kit, left a big fly and a sticker. Capt and Loon
Hounddog and SNIFTER braved the dangerous traffic and found this cache without the aid of spotlights. Took about 20 minutes to find the micro and found the main cache in a flash.
Took a peppermint and honeycomb freddo and some techo stuff. Left a musical keychain and a bug.
