The river is down but the whole hide area has crumbled making it impossible to create a sustainable cache. This won't be coming back.
I took this walk this morning and found it completely flooded over. I have to close this one until the river drops. Hopefully, it won't have sailed on downriver and I'll be able to dry it out
Went out this morning to walk the dog and check the cache. It was very cold so we had the river to ourselves. Cache was in position, no worries. Not in any danger of being washed away yet.
We were at the spot for a while with no luck. Think the river has flooded and has either been washed away or been covered with water.
Took a while, but eventually found with the aid of the hint. Unfortunately the pen wasn’t working, and I wasn’t expecting to make any finds. There’s a valuable lesson in there - always be prepared! Tftc
Found this awesome hide after lunch, the water was relaxing and serene to listen to. We even dropped off a TB. Logbook was damp. Obviously prev cachers did not place logbook back in the zip lock bag. C'mon cachers, do your bit and keep the cache contents and logbook as you found them. Be a loyal cacher, and have fun!
Actually found 11/11/17 but forgot to log it. Found again today & saw our original log. The book has been eaten by some bug
I’ve come to Warburton to do the 9km night run at the trail festival and decided to go for a short stroll before the run. This cache proved a perfect excuse!
Thanks
Thanks
Took my hubby a year to find this but got a chance to find it today after the warburton fun run
Spending a few days in this general area so what better way to begin the day than with a few caches. With the weather so hot it was a really early start to avoid the heat There were quite a few muggles walking their dogs around this area so had to wait a couple out. A quick find TFTC mykaat
We really did a sneaky find and replace with this one. Truffle was distracting the muggles, she knew her help wasn't required with such a talented team on board. With ellenvgreg.
Out with team milljrh and Truffle the geopup (who really did have a wonderful walk) for a day of caching around Warburton. Strolled up to this one on the river walk, stopped and sneakily discovered it under the very noses of muggles at play in the river. Quick find by Neville with coordinates spot on. Truffle doesn’t have much of a nose for geocaches Lol TFTC Next stop refreshments!
Nice spot along the river here. Had to scratch name on log, but I think it’s legible. Thanks mykaat
We were offered a night’s accommodation at Oscars in Warburton as our Daughter in law and son were unable to use it. A pleasant walk along the river and an easy find. TFTC
TFTC. Beautiful spring evening in Warburton after doing rail trail. Easy find. Pen is not working. Cute ducklings.
Found with the Yarra Expedition 10 crew.
A really nice stretch of the river here, would be good fun to paddle! Easy find when you know the right spot.

After attending the *Yarra Expedition #10* event this morning we then explored the area following the river between Warburton and Woori Yallock.
It was a great time to be out on this sunny winter day as we covered about 25km by bike along these trails.
After cycling 5kms that's precisely what we did here - we took a break. Not that we needed a rest, we just needed to find a cache !
Loving this trail right next to the river.
Thanks mykaat.

Found today as part of Yarra Expedition Part 10. Today riding with the crew from Warburton to Woori Yallock.
Thankfully we had a previous finder with us.
Cheers mykaat

Today I headed out with biggles1024 to first of all attend the Yarra Expedition part 9 and then head off in search of other cache where ever they maybe.
With the event now over, everyone had hit the road to find a cache or two.
By now we had set off on our own trail of Caches to find and this one was very close to the previous find but Mark had already found it so it was up to me to find it now, he did give a couple of hints so it was soon found and the logbook signed.
**Thanks to mykaat for placing this cache.**

**Find #3081**
**Traditional Cache Find #2113**
I headed to Warburton and Mount Donna Buang in search of unloved caches. I reasoned that this was probably the only chance I would ever get to try and find this cache so took it. Fortunately, the coast was clear and spot on co-ords made for a quick find.

In the area doing the new series in Wesburn and thought I would pick up a few others in the area. A little surprised to find an unopened sanitary item in the cache. I promptly removed it. Such a nice relaxing spot to listen to the running water.

Thanks mykaat. Nice easy find in between runners for an event. Needed a bit of stealth so with Jimmytherat we took a load off and soon in hand.
TCTC mykaat. Another Fabulous place for a cache. Plenty of muggles around today but a quick sit-down at GZ and the cache was retrieved and replaced with no fuss. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
Lovely walk by the river cute spot, love the sound of the water over the rocks. Thank you.
We needed get out of the house and do something, so why not go caching in Warburton )) TFTF
Nice view. Bit harder to find than Riverview lookout cache.
Kids enjoyed rope swing.

TFTC. Beautiful place. Just brought a holiday cabin here so lets hit the cache trail.
Nice spot for a cache. My Phone took me straight to it. The hint helped. Notepad a bit wet so please replace or dry it.
This is my second trip here and I am pleased to report a successful find. My first visit was hampered by muggles and my inability to find it. Today was nothing of the sort, I walked straight to it and nobody about either! Thanks mykaat
Nearly got fooled but common sense took us a little away from where the GPS said and soon Geocache was in hand Thanks!
Enjoy walk toward the cache.
Found it and rehide after sign the log.
Thanks mykaat

Geomum sussed out the general location of the cache but couldn't be bothered to get her feet dirty so sent the geokids in for the kill. Dropped off TB.
Feel like we found the right spot but over fossicking in the wet grass! If it's there it's too well hidden for this city cacher
First one for the day and an unsuccessful trek. Photo is from a little further down the path
Found it! This one was super clever! Good find! Left a thong bead and pack of animal cards from my kids
Woh!! After reading Gladramax's post I headed straight down to check the cache. Somebody takes their DNFs very seriously. Whoever graffitied the wall was right, the geocache is not at the wall, its safe and sound and tucked away where it's always been, ready to be found.
Also the long grass that made it very difficult earlier has died away after being treated with weed killer by the Warburton River Crew
