Nice big bush park. I replaced the log and threw the old log out (it was unreadable and completely soaked). No sign of the redback spider. Cache no longer requires maintenance.
Ok nice hide but..........
BEWARE THERE IS A VENOMOUS REDBACK SPIDER GUARDING THE CACHE
No joke it is a Female Redback (males are non-venomous and do not have a red back they are black all over)
The log is soaked and unusable
I can post a photo of the spider but beware it will be a spoiler pic
I stuck a finger in the hole anyway to pull cache out can't wimp out need to win!

Found it, well hidden great little spot. The log book as saturated so maybe a new book and tin are needed.
Thankf for the cache.

totalube did well to sign the log book - beyond my efforts with left hand style. nice park to come to though
I know a maintenance log has been added but I wanted to add a bit to it.
The photo attached to the log by Everlasting on 19 October 2008 bears a strong resemblance to photo we have attached to ours.
It would appear that this cache has been in need of maintenance for over 6 months. Perhaps it is time to archive and let someone else have a go in that park.
The owner hasn't been online since 24 June 2008.

Good hide but still a reasonably easy find (don't you just love them).
Couldn't sign the log.

In a very poor state, couldn't sign the log well, as so much water had gotten in. Maintenance needed or archive this.
Found while waiting for hospital appointment.Easy find. didn,t have the GPS with me. TNLN Log book still damp. TFTC Silky Seekers.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Found at 3.30pm after finishing work a little early. Log-book was quite wet. Took it for a joy ride and left it on the dash to dry out a bit. Signed log for myself and for Aussie Pirates as it was too wet for them to sign the other day. Placed log into a new zip-lock bag. It's not too bad but a new book would be nice. Of cause when I was going to return the cache every child and their dog was playing in the park. After 15 mins the coast was clear and cache was returned. TFTC
Should have logged this one as a find. Thanks Legends for signing the log book for us after you dried it out a bit.
Found this easily, but there was water in the bag. Didn't want to try to peel the wet paper apart to write on it. Nice little park.
Found this morning while i was in the area. due to previous logs, i decided to take a new log book with me. Am really sorry oNsLaUgHt008, spider and EJ, but i had to throw the old log book out, it was all mushy and was starting to grow things!! [xx(] Anyway, all is well now, TFTC!!

Found this afternoon however, like the previous hunters, unable to sign the log as it resembled paper mache. Didn't attempt to remove the log from the bag as it was clearly water damaged.
Nice park and just what the Junior Gunnies needed at the end of our caching run.
Cheers

This cache needs urgent maintenance - I couldn't open the log book as it is too wet, so engraved an X on the cover. TFTC

Found this one today. You might want to rename it "Hole in the head" for a while.
I was swooped by a magpie and one pecked my 5yo's head hard.
I'd give this a miss, everyone, at least until the magpies have finished nesting.
The logbook is very damn and hard to write on as well.

Found this one on the way back from the hardware shop late today - I think we're becoming obsessed. Nice easy find to finish the day.

Found this with no problems although the cache was a bit soggy!!! Thank you for the find
Put in a new dry sheet of paper but left original soaked log - not sure how long the dry sheet will stay that way even though I separated the dry from wet with a sheet of water-resistant paper!

The log is soaking wet and needs to be replaced. Perhaps a plastic bag might be an idea too?
Well, what can you say about spider's caches.... an eclipse tin shoved in a tree. Pure genius!
The log is soaking wet and beyond repair. Needs maintenance.

First find with new GPS and N95+Geonavigator!
Cache was too wet to pull contents out - left as is without adding log entry.

Quick find in the park on a Friday arvo. Tried a couple of trees before I found it. Amazing how many places an eclipse tin will fit. TN/LN/SL. Well, I did leave a new piece of paper as a log sheet. The old one is long past it's "use by" date.
A very peaceful park at lunchtime today. The butcher birds were in full song
Taking note of the exposed surroundings and being in full view of quite a few houses, I cooled my heels for a few minutes on a nearby park bench till any muggles lost interest in me
Cache was easily found, but as said before, the log book was soaked and torn. I cooled my heels for another 20 mins or so while the paper dried. It was such a nice day and I had a lot of spare time, due to an unexpectedly short hunt for an earlier cache find
Not wanting to be too pessimistic, but there's that dreaded "spider" in the cache hider's name.....[:o]

Log book was soaked - was unable to sign and did not have a replacement for the container of this size.
really needs TLC, drenched and we didn't have a new log to replace. signed best we could but is falling apart.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 12:10pm. Tracked the cache down quite easily but I think the locals are watching what is going on. TFTC
Found it. The logbook was really difficult to extract. It looks like others have found the same as its getting a little tatty.
Had to search a few spots and widen my search area before I found the correct one.
Yes, I remember from cub days the lady after whom this park was named. Not living nearby I had no regular contact, but saw her at district rallies and the like. A fine lady.
A fine find too. Only ever visited the park once before, very briefly, but must come again and explore the bush along the western edge.

We were driving to work this morning, when Mrs Steve decided to try out the new caching application on her Nokia N95.
There is a cache just over there!!!
We downloaded the notes, and made a quick detour to see if we could sneak a FTF. Once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. We signed the log and replaced the cache.
Hooray - a couple of firsts! We recorded a *FTF* for the cache, and our FPF (First phone find)!
Note:- There is no stash note in the cache! We didn't have our caching box in the car, so we could not put one in. Also, the log book was not in a protective bag. Eclipse tins aren't waterproof, and the log book is not going to survive long as is.
