A rather lovely spot here that's for sure! The pathway here wasn't in its prime unfortunately, but enough to avoid any bush bashing!Once at GZ I managed to look in the wrong place exactly six times over.Tragic.But after readjusting I felt the container hiding just out of sight!Gotchu!Log signed, views admired and cache returned! Thanks for placing this cache BlacknWhite!
YES!!! Thanks BlacknWhite for resetting this cache. Maybe the last one got washed away. After a good bit of rain we sloshed our way out to a fresh cache. Thanks again :]
After all the bad weather maybe the person who put the cache there should go and check to see if the cache is still there.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU.
I had been looking forward to seeing Warden Head Lighthouse on this trip, enjoyed its setting and then wanted to go find this cache to mark my visit on the map. What a disappointment, there was nothing to be found even after looking for it for a rather long time. But the walk out here was very nice. Hope the next cacher will have more luck than I did.
Persistence payed off. With new geocashe Treesulla. A local re visiting forgotten tracks
Found It!A nice walk in here and a quick find once at GZ. Not a bad view either!TFTC
#6398. My parents are visiting from overseas and we decided to come and explore the area in and around Batemans Bay during a camping trip. We embarked on a day trip, heading North from South Durras. Three of us walked to the cache and were treated to the beautiful views, while the rest of the group waited at the lighthouse. The cache was quickly found thanks to the hint. TFTC!
Ten minute rule invoked and moving on. It is as a big investment riding the bike in here.
Nice easy walk out here and good to find a decent sized cache at the end of it.
Thanks for bringing us here.

A very nice walk to GZ. We struggled again after looking in all the wrong places. Then we decided on a new tactic and searched the correct location and suddenly found it. GR8.

Down in Ulladulla for the weekend with Baristayan, for a family reunion and we thought we’d head out Friday morning and check out the local cache scene.
What a beautiful little patch of bush! It’s a bit like that forest in Lord of the Rings that is really hard to find a way out of…I kept taking little twists and turns that took me through the scrub, occasionally coming to a beautiful Indigenous artwork explaining what the different trees were.
Eventually made my way to ground zero and faffed around in my usual over complicating fashion before snaring the prize. Thanks for the cache!

This was a lovely place for a stroll in the rain this morning. The cache was a quick find and I was back on my way. Thank you.
Because of the description, we could find the Container after a little search.
Thank you for the Cache and let us see this great area.

Family holiday in nearby Manyana, planned one morning just for caching. It was an early start today to beat the heat, or the rain, maybe both. In the end, a beautiful day.
After a leisurely walk along the trail finally made it to GZ. Views not so great, need to clear away a little of the growth. A quick find in the obvious spot. Signed and replaced and on my way. Took TB LNSL TFTC

Thanks for that info [Tony](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=bc75b6ef-6244-4bc0-b632-a973f624388b).
Now I know the road out to the lighthouse has reopened I will come down soon with a new cache to replace it if it really has gone gone missing

The road to the lighthouse is now open and the path to the cache is accessible.
I didn't have time to check the actual cache, but it should be good to activate the cache again

Warden Head Lighthouse Opening Delayed
There has been a delay in getting the contractor to site to complete the remaining car park works (last layer of asphalt and line marking) as well being caught up in the high demand for road contractors to fix storm damage.
At this stage the asphalt is scheduled for Friday 9 December, but as there is a risk it could get pushed back into next week. The remaining works are not impacted and would be ready to open on 9 December, but with the car park delay, the opening will be delayed. Plus, the car park would need to be closed for a day next week to undertake the line marking.

Warden Head Lighthouse Opening
The opening of the lighthouse reserve is on track for the afternoon of 9 December 2022. Works are progressing with landscaping well underway.
A few additional items will require completion after the opening, including the car park lighting, the signage and some planting of the rear mound and island bed (old well). These items have been delayed slightly, but the main section of the project can open without affecting the completion of these items.
For more information, visit the [Warden Heads Lighthouse Masterplan](https://getinvolved.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/warden-head-lighthouse?utm_source=ehq_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ehq-Warden-Head-Lighthouse-Masterplan--Project-Update&utm_source=ehq&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=website) Get Involved web page.

Project Update
Construction works are progressing with all subsurface works completed.
Due to wet weather delays, and contractor availability, the construction works are scheduled to be completed in mid-November 2022. This date also takes into account the expected further wet weather delays.
In the attached images below you can see the completed viewing platform, stage and car park kerb. The light pole has also been removed and the contractor has taken delivery of the landscaping materials (sandstone blocks).

I've just been down there and nothing has changed. The road is still closed. No signs indicating when it will be opened.
The web site does, however, suggest that the opening date has been put back to mid-November due to the bad weather.

Due to some delays with weather and design clarifications, the completion date has been pushed to .October 2022. Favourable weather conditions will allow for the car park and concreting to continue and be completed on time.
Ayling Drury are currently completing the signage design and will provide all signage stakeholders with the final copy to view prior to fabrication.
Drone images of the construction will be provided shortly.

We have been advised by a representative from Crown Land NSW that the works at Warden Head Lighthouse are expected to be completed and open to the public mid-October. This timeframe is dependent on favourable weather conditions and could be pushed back if we receive any further poor weather at the site.
Temporarily disabled as we've been advised by [Gill & Tony](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=bc75b6ef-6244-4bc0-b632-a973f624388b) that the road to the lighthouse is closed due to upgrades and the footpath is also closed. They don't think there is any way to access the cache - unless there is a backdoor route they are not familiar with.
Late evening walk when kids in bed. Track a bit wet but the views were stunning as the surf pounded the rocks.
Took me a long time to find, but very glad to claim the find at the end. Continued on the walk around the headland until it got dark. Great cache location. Tftc.

Quick and easy find on a grey and showery day. A better day to be geocaching than at the beach. Nice spot to look out at the ocean tftc
The hint had me thinking a little too hard. Almost lost my hat as well and that had nothing to do with the wild weather that’s all around us today!! Loving the walk and the area!
A great walk out to GZ. We are heading to Depot Beach from Sydney. After a picnic lunch near Ulladulla Harbour and a stop at the shop for supplies, we headed out here. Fabulous sweeping views. No waratahs today but still a favourite for us. TN L Venezia TB and some Woolies bricks SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Yet again geocaching took us to a lovely spot. A short stroll to the lighthouse was lovely too. Tftc
What a beautiful walk and a tricky find. Sometimes we take for granted what’s right at our feet!
Found!!....again, geodad on the job! Took us a while! Great hide, beautiful location!!
