Short-stuff has never seen The Simpsons, but the titles of these caches really appeal to her five-year-old sense of humour. So, to keep both of us amused, we decided a drive in the hills was in order.
"Deja vu, all over again"... running out of time before we had to head home, we guessed the hide location on the way from our parking spot, making it a quick find.
Our last homerjay hide for the day.

Would have loved to have seen an eagle even if it was pooping! The gum trees looked beautiful lit up in the sun with the dark clouds behind them...... Cache was a nice easy find

Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.

Find # 1765
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
This was a nice quick driveby, located quite quickly with two of us searching.
Thanks again to Homerjay73 for the cache. TNLN. Log book needs replacing

Got this one very quickly. Parked 5 meters away and GPSr took me straight to gz. Filled out the log on the bonnet of my car when a passing motorist stopped to ask if all was ok. It was such a nice touch. TFTC.
I need to poo!

I parked by the watertank (keeping the loop road clear) and walked up the road (watch out for trucks and utes). I missed the cache first time around, then tried and few other spots before returning and spotted it.
The logbook really could do with a replacement, its a jumbled collection of loose pages, on which I found a space to add mine (no real chronological order though) and I was worried it was going to be struggle to get it back in the cache (it wasn't thankfully, the cache is bigger inside than I thought).

For some reason, i just reached in to a place where any sort of critter could be residing … and what do you know, i found a cache [^]. A great area, thanks for bringing us here HJ73
A quick find when I needed it. Plenty of water flowing here today.
Cheers homerjay73, thanks for showing me this stretch of road.
Cheers homerjay73, thanks for showing me this stretch of road.
Went for a nice walk down an interesting little road. At first we thought it was tricky to find but soon found it in an easyish spot. Thanks for another cache HJ
30/04/2011 17:03 Found: #432 Here with the two youngest geokids. We stopped just short me the bridge and after letting a muggle car across AAA went hunting on one side while I went to the other. I started by checking a common location and found myself putting my hand directly on the cache. Back to the car for a quick shining then off to take the scenic route home. TNLN TFTC SL
found this nice and quick was i bit concerned when i saw the bridge not another "purple monkey dishwasher" i thought im still yet to nail that one after many a search hmm thats why we like your caches homerjay they often give more than one day of fun or frustration tftc
A quick stop on the side of the road, and once I had unwrapped the container from the many spider webs, I was able to access the log. TFTC
Found easily, had no pen, thought I read that it had one, will come back soon to sign log
3.00 Just the two of us out today trying my new birthday present. Its working well and I think I will keep it. The best thing about country caching is there is no one about to pressure you. We took time out to drive around the affected areas of the dreadful bush fires of some 13 months ago. They have done a wonderful job in the rebuilding, and vegetation has come back so quickly, it is such a lovely area to come to. Left Mr Xambo to watch the car while I took did the quick retrieve, log and replace. No spiders, trees or snakes here, just a drive by.
Thanks for the cache

Found at 1850. Almost gave up on this one. Heard noises in the bushes and was a bit worried but nothing too concerning just a mum & baby wombat on their evening stroll hehe. New is was small but not this small!! TFTC SL
I don't know why, but the road was very busy today.
Maybe the locals are aware that "Some damn fool is lookin' fer that magnetic container a'gin..."
Good to see you are mainaining your standard.

11th of 23 finds for the night during a night cache run with Blacklegend17. Nice quick find. Thanks for the hide.
9th of 21 on another night caching run with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671). Quick find under torchlight. TFTC.
Thanks for the cool cache. When you said magnetic holder, I expected a car key holder and then I realised there is a magnet at the bottom of the container so when I replaced it, I made sure the bottom was stuck to the metal. The paper will need removing soon as it is getting full.
Found on another mega day caching with bogonghazy. Knew it had to be there somewhere, but wasa tricky little bugger to spot. Thankfully the cars didn't come along the road until we were back to the car or things may have been a bit squeezy.
What a great spot to stop and relax, just listening to the water, and admiring the narrow bridge.
My thanks to HJ73 for placing another great cache for Reesylou and I to find, SL

This one took us quite some time. This was a nice easy one getting towards the end of the day. The log book is pretty retty and could do with a replacement. Thanks.

Another nice and quick Homerjay73 cache. I guessed that it was going to be there, and there it was. Thanks.
King Jnr with the family in the car.
Quick and easy - drove straight up to it. My queen thought it small but then I reminded her it could be worse. I didn't straighthen out the log book, rather I just used a free space.
Thanks yet again HJ

Boy, the locals are certainly suspicious of anyone on this road. Four cars passed by and all slowed down and had a good look at my vehicle parked well away from the cache. Nice easy find. TNLNSL TFTC

Found at 3.30pm GAFF1. We thought it would be there, but we didn't look hard enough on the first look. We enjoy driving around these roads - especially on such a nice day. Thanks.
Found by Mary & David at 1555. Enjoyed some new scenery on our way to this cache. A few rabbits around at GZ. After struggling at the previous cache, this was a pleasant change. Once more, our thanks to homerjay73.
This was a surprisingly busy road today. I parked a short distance away and waited for a pause in the flow of horse floats and utes and nabbed the cache quickly. The name made sense after reading the TomTom screen.

This was number 5 out of a total of 7 for the afternoon. Found it around 3:55pm. A short walk from a convenient car park. Funny litle out of the way place. Wonder where the road goes....?
We found this cache at 4:20pm as the 9th of 14 on our Kinglake to Yan Yean tour. Thanks for the cache from D,H,K & A B-A.
Located by rubus pickers and cousins at 1.35pm. First of three for the day. Very quick find with many thanks to Homerjay73.
Lots to like about this one - a drive out on a country road, a place to pull over, a creek, and a neatly hidden little cache which was a good hide. Thanks for another good one homerjay73,
Eighteenth of twenty two cache finds for the day in the company of Alansee, the cache was found at 1515. I had no trouble navigating my Hyundia Getz to this one where we soon had the cache in hand. i enjoyed the drive out to this location. thanks homerjay73 for the cache.
Found this afternoon on my return trip from the work conference near Dixons Creek. I was feeling a bit seedy so was pleased to find adequate parking 50m away and the cache was in one of an assortment of potential hiding spots.
Thanks Homerjay73.

It was really quite pleasant driving around this area today - nice and still, with a bit of mist and the sun trying to break through. The cattle all looked quite content and well-fed too. The cache was another nice, quick find as well but, as Rhinogeo noted, parking was a bit tight and, while doing a 3 or 4 point turn to leave GZ, my rear wheels started spinning - luckily I was in a 4wd so it wasn't a problem - but visitors in 2wds might want to take note.

FTF on a pleasant Saturday morning. Not that we were planning on a FTF necessarily, we were caching on our way out to St Andrews to catch up with friends.
Have to say that this was the easiest HomerJay cache to date, with good coordinates guiding us immediately to the micro and we found this one literally straight away.
