Easy find with Coppadog. Cache tin very rusty with no lid. Put a small pill box inside it. Paper dry. tftc
Easy find on this beautiful rest area / camp site. We stayed here for the night and had great fun next to the river and playing on the grass. Lovely place, tftc!
Parked up on the road for this one and bashed through the undergrowth and across the small creek, avoiding the prickly bits.Found the cache but its an old mint tin with a rusted off lid. Log was new and fine.TFTC belt family.Today was a bit of an old school caching day for me.RG72 had plenty on today with her friends pre-wedding celebrations, and while I have a few obligations Friday and Sunday, Saturday is mostly free time to do what I like.So that will be go out for about 4-5 hours geocaching and then write up logs in the afternoon while enjoying the sun and a beer. And then study up on our upcoming trip. So that is how today rolled .I did a bit of a loop up Pigeon Valley, through Dovedale and Thorpe and then made my way back through Tapawera to Brightwater. An interesting day. There were a couple of DNFs, a few others with limited parking options, and some other minor issues. The main one probably being no-one to photo document my finds. I got swooped by magpies at at least 2 of them, cos its the season for that. All up pretty good though. A few more smilies on the map although none toward any particular goal. Thanks all COs, appreciate you keeping them active.
Found with NZDi. Our extended whanau including Nannie (NZDi), Poppa (Kiwimykl), son, daughter-in-law and three grand daughters, daughter, son-in-law and grandson (KiwiNate2020) were camping at Quinney's Bush camp ground which is an annual pilgrimage we have been doing for seven years now. Something that started when we only had one grand daughter. This is a family holiday, so geocaching is strictly limited. We did the Spooners Tunnel Adventure Lab cache the other day during a family outing, but today NZDi and I have set aside a morning of geocaching without the rest of the family. Of course, being our seventh year camping in the area, means we have to go further afield to find greenies with pretty much everything between Wai-iti and Tapawera already converted to yellow. It was originally our intention to head up the Tadmor Valley towards Glenhope and see how far we could get in half a day, but during my research, I discovered a Challenge cache we both qualified for in the Motueka Valley, so with that as our main target we headed in that direction.
This was our sixth find of the morning. Like others before us have said, there are plenty of hiding spots in the hinted item, but the obvious ones were too obvious. With two of us looking, it wasn't long before we (I) found it. The cache container is a little bit the worse for wear, which is not to be unexpected for a 15 year old cache which the CO is no longer around to maintain. However, someone has been doing some maintenance, as it had a reasonably fresh log sheet. On reading some previous logs you will find Agazo provides a cryptic hint.

Short stop here on our way south. The box is indeed still there.
Thank you for the cache

DNF but was just a quick toilet stop while driving to Mot. Had no coverage so couldn't check for clues.
I had a 50-50 chance of staying on the road or driving down to the park. I got it right on the second try.
GZ had lots of possible hiding spots, so I went through them before looking in a not-so-possible place, which is where the cx was hidden. TFTC.
P.S. I am going out for a steak dinner later.

Heading back from the West Coast from a weekend away and had intended on logging a nearby challenge cache so had flagged caches either side as a marker but managed to miss it so picking up on homeward journey. Thanks beltfamily for this cache, all in good order.
Found with Tregearp on our return from a weekend in the West Coast to do some walks, caches and enjoy the views. All in good order. Thanks beltfamily for another cache.
Its not often you see a stick and a tree like this. Kinda cool. Cache not 400ml sistema anymore as someone has replaced it a while back. Thanks beltfamily.
Good place to stretch the legs and also to turn around and start heading back after a good day's caching! TFTC!!
A nice quick find thanks. All quiet at GZ which was a bonus.
Found on a lovely days drive to Motueka, with Ms_KR, the start of our holiday. A lovely day, with only a few showers along the way.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Enjoying exploring along this back road on our way to Motueka today. Road really dropps off from the tarseal to get into this reserve. And IT Does get in. So replaced the wet log with a Temp RITR log to keep this one rolling along. Cheers
Another weekend exploring Nelson with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby. Early start from Blenheim on Saturday. We are after The Wonders of the World, some LAB caches, also Nanzies Event to visit our caching family and visiting family in Motueka. Cold morning and beautiful days made for an awesome weekend.

We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.

A bonus beltfamily cache when passing. There was an awesome stretch of fishing river nearby for me to fail to catch at, as well as a group of cars and utes parked overnight by the look. Great area around here. T F T C beltfamily.
Have been perusing my 'local' map and looking for clusters of caches for me to drive out to and making a day trip of (without the dangers of big drops/mountainous terrain/weather-vulnerable) and the area either side of the Motueka river looked a likely target area. I've not been any further than Tapawera on this side road and also not fully explored the back road of Motueka. So I sat right down and wrote myself a . . . . cache list. Target caches totalled over 40 and I was keen to get as many of those as I could. The final total was 37 finds, 3 DNFs and one tree climbing not attempted, or stopped for. My cache find total bumandworker went up again, and my Sidewaze totals are pushing towards third place in my all-time list of COs. A great day out and such beautiful Autumn scenery that the camera cannot truly convey. Scouted out some decent looking trout fishing spots too. Thanks to all COs for their placements. Individual logs at the start of the listing.

A other restates closed due to fire risk. I ran down the track to get this. Started to go for plastic bag but noticed eclipse close by. Thanks for the cache
We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

Yes, it does get in! Like water into an eclidse tin! Isn't that how the saying goes? Drained the water out and returned the cache the right way around - lid down so that water can drain out. A couple of campervans here, but one was still sleeping, the other busy packing up.
---
Off to Motueka to drop a bike back into Dad's place. New handle bar grips, brakes fixed, new rear bearings, crank bearings fixed - about the only thing that worked correctly was the gearing. Anyway, all good now, back home it goes. Stopped off here along the way.

Found it yesterday while camping at this beautiful place. Not a sistema box tho! TFTC
Nice little hide off the main road. Good to have a cache with parking nearby on a wet day
I first attempted this cache about three years ago but then there were a number of cars in residence which would have made a search impossible.
I've driven past since but never had the opportunity to stop. So today, whilst out for a lunchtime drive to collect a small handful of caches to nudge things along a little, I took the long way back to work to try again.
No one here today and was able to park right alongside. Circled once around the hint object and spied the cache without much bother. True - it DOES get it, but could I get it out? Just!
Thanks

Looks like cache is no longer there, had a good look around but looks a bit disturbed
Maybe this morning's 'rain' put people off coming out to this spot today. We expected to see at least one vehicle here, but it was surprisingly empty. This meant we didn't have to worry about being muggled whilst searching and we soon located the cache and signed it off. tftc
It looked like someone "got in" and muggled this one. Found cache container, plastic bag for the log but no log. Sorry didn't have a replacement, so needs a now log. Cache replaced.
We've stayed overnight here many years ago but no one Camping in here and had a nice quick find and had just put it back (Phew) when the first of the Motorhomes came in looking for a place to stay..TFTC
GPS was playing up, so finding the right area was a bit of guesswork, but got there pretty quickly. Thanks!!
(Found with Don Cristobal)
On our way to the North we had a short stop here.

Catch up on old logs. FOund this over a year ago, when on the our way to get our new doggie (Xammy). We just needed to stop to go to the toilet. Good way to go for this cache
Hey this is a nice place to stretch your legs. Late in the day now so just a little lingering down by the river and if better be on my way.

Lovely easy find even though there was a gathering of muggle campervanners here not 20m from the cache. I'm sure they were wondering what I was doing but were way too polite to ask! TFTC
To bad we already have a reservation for a camping site in Motueka, otherwise we would have loved to stay the night over here. Anyway the cache was an easy find.
Nice easy find in a pretty place. Cache was just where we expected it to be. Thanks for the maintenance and the cache.
Found during our holiday in New Zealand. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Czech Republic.
We DNFed this a few months ago and had another look while passing tonight. We are convinced that it is missing so we replaced it with an eclipse container we had in the car. Hope this is okay and Thanks for the cache
Today we did the big loop through Tapawera up to Motueka and then back to Nelson. We found the likey place that matched the hint at GZ and it even had a rock but no cache We did expand our search to the other objects around but still came away empty. We are very pretty sure its missing.
Out for a day's caching today, on a loop from Wakefield, through Tapawera and Dovedale.
I knew this was going to be a non-starter from the moment I rounded the corner.
Clearly a popular camping and campervan spot, so choose your visiting time with care.

18077 km from home we found this Cache while our holidays. Thank you very much for hiding and greetings from Dresden, Germany!
A fairly quick find, but we thought we should explain what we were doing by the washing some campers had hung right at the spot. They were French, and were aware there were geocaches in France. We confess to not understanding the cache name. TFTC
trip with a campervan in the north and south island for one month.
very good time and a lot of nice cache's!!
thanks

Wow, I pulled over for a cup of tea and lunch, pulled out chair and thought, I wonder if there is a cache in this park. Look at phone and no reception... Then stand up, walk to nearest tree...BOOM! One there! First cache I've found without knowing one was there first!

We would loved to have found this one,so stopped here on Christmas Day,as we are towing our Luv Shack (Caravan) but didn't even get out of the Car,as it is obviously Muggle territry this time of year, and yep they were all over the place, and also at GZ.Maybe next time..
Don't understand the cache name, but yes a nice green space with lots of birdlife and views of the river where we ate our picnic. Easy find. TFTC [5298]
Last time I passed here there was a campervan that couldn't have been parked any closer to GZ. Today no one around and a quick find. TFTC (1367)
Found on the drive north to Takaka from Christchurch for a few days there with family during my annual leave.

#7981. A good spot for a cache. There were a number of muggle cars parked in the area; a bit surprising in what seemed like an out of the way place. TFTC.
Cache is still going strong six years after placement. Looked like a good spot for lunch, so after finding the cache, we unwrapped the sammies. TFTC.
Lots of camper vans parked up but managed to be discreet and retrieve the cache unnoticed. Cheers!!
During our visit in beautiful New Zealand, we have naturally sought some caches. There were many memorable impressions on our trip and showed us some caches the New Zealand off the beaten path. You have a wonderful country! We thank all Ownern for the cache and send best regards from Denmark, Thyde2.

Number 500 for us, and what a lovely place for it to be. We had a lovely picnic, did a spot of trout fishing, watched the jet boat in the river and just generally enjoyed this spot tftc
We stayed here in a camper a few years ago but figured that it must have been in the pre-caching days. Amazing how time flies! TFTC.
Thanks for the cache and chance to stretch the legs

We found this cache on our 3,5-week journey through New Zealand. What an amazing country. Sorry for this short log, but time is short and we would see so more things. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany. AchSu
7:59am | Rainy morning but after cup of coffee is everything possible. Short walk around, wait for a better GPS reception, locate the spot and then celebrate a victory TFTC and greetings from the Czech Rep!
Found on our roadtrip with Dopeyr who is visiting from England. A quick stop and the treasure was just sitting there very exposed. Tried to hide it a little better. TFTC.
A quick find on the way north to Motueka this afternoon. Nice spot. Signed log, TFTC
Forgot to log this at the time, just found it with others in my notebook..... thanks!

We stopped by here on a round trip down the valley and back to Nelson. Lots of campers but no one interested in what we were doing, we were able to park right beside the hint item so a quick retrieval of the cache. TFTC.
