Catching up on some late logs from our Fathers Days adventures.
We decided to head out and explore an area we hadn’t been to before and no better way than to cache our way around.
Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining their hides for us find, and bringing us to some beautiful places.

Out for a trail run in preparation for the race next week. Took a detour to find some caches. Quick find. Thanks for the hide
What a beautiful part of our state. Always appreciated the bushland but had no idea how nice the rocks were around here. Thanks for bringing me here TFTC
Out this way grabbing a few caches with Leega and the geopooches. We parked and made the short hike up to gz. Once there we made a nice quick find and soon added our names to your log. We returned your cache back to where it belongs. Now on to the next. TFTC bunny bashers
Out with axell33 and the geopups grabbing some caches on this wild weather day, with stormy showers and warm sunshine it's a great day to be in the bush clean and fresh. It was a nice little hike up to gz. The pups loved the run. The caches was found in good condition and returned with log signed. Thanks for the cache. Great spot!
The bush was a bit rough on the geothongs but I eventually got to gz. Just happened I was walking on the wrong gz and from it I spied the cache down the hill. TFTC
Headed out with Kyzabra on a little caching run this morning to try bring a bit of normality into these crazy times. Focused mainly on those less visited hides to increase our chances of survival.
A bit of a more leisurely walk to this one where my accomplice came up with the quick find. Couldn't really associate the cache title with the location though. Never mind, happy to claim the smiley regardless.
bunny bashers I found your cache at 9:05am, this was the 9th of 12 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5980. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Granett and I decided to head our today and grab a few caches before lunch.
In the current times, we thought some social distancing was a good idea so headed out early and picked some caches out of the way and overly frequented.
Quick find today. Bright container always stands out.
May need some tlc from the next finder as cracks in the container.
Many thanks to bunny bashers for placing and maintaining wash this space. We found it, signed it, and put it back as found. We found this one at 9:06 am on Sunday and this is my find 8449.

Was heading home from work and flicked a text to Cravo to see if he was at work, got the “home” affirmative text and then asked about heading back to civilisation land to cleanup our last few dnfs from last visit.
He was keen and we met up at the servo, once he found the right one. Managed quick finds of the four civilisation ones, it’s amazing what daylight and no storms can do to make the finds a bit easier.
Finished off and had some daylight left and saw an “oldie”, one of the 100 oldest still active caches in WA. Which would help over qualify for a challenge Cache recently published. Made the diversion go not just “scarpered off” but another nearby one “wash this space”.
Amazing that these relatively easy to get to caches don’t enjoy any of the high find count of some of the nearby caches.
A good arvo out and enjoyed the bush and dirt tracks.
Thanks for the evening fun.

Was sitting at home and the girlfriend said well I’m going out for a few hours, I was sitting on the couch thinking ok, what can I get done when magically B12 sent the text hinting at getting some geocaches, I was rather surprised as I thought he was heading to Albany!
I soon met him at the new meeting point and we were on our way.
Picked up 6 finds in the Jarrahdale area TFTH.

This one has been on my list for a while now to fill a space in my Jasmer grid. Found with no problems, the log is dry. TFTH!
Quick find as we travel around jarrahdale today. Cache is soaked but log was dry. Emptied water from container. Tfth
So I took Webbly WA's suggestion and came to grab the caches here. A nice walk on slightly elevated ground but some nice rocks here! TFTC bunny bashers!
I was on an early morning ride along the Munda Biddi and stopped by to grab this one
A nice hide here and thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .
bunny bashers - jinta29 found your cache wash this space on 16/04/2016, 6:51 AM. This is my find #5176 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Beautiful place, great adventure getting to it, but oh dear what a soggy mess! I think someone has been doing their washing in the cache. The container is a little damaged and is not in plastic. There was a lot of water in there and some smelly, disintegrating swag. We removed everything & dried the container. The replacement logbook was useable but a little damp so we replaced its bag. The original log book is like blotting paper & is. Contributing to the problem so we removed that too. In need of some TLC. TFTC
Sort little stroll of scarp road and cache was quickly in hand. Cache has had a 'wash' but not a dry and is incredibly wet and contains a few real spiders. However replacement log is still dry in its little baggy. Needs a little TLC. TFTC though
Found cache but it wasn't inside a plastic bag like noted in the description. Contents waterlogged but replacement log still dry so filled it out as per usual. Pretty spot though.
Decided to duck out to the Dams and grab a few caches that I have been wanting to do for a while. Unluckily for me, the Dams Challenge bike ride is on today. Luckily, the roads were all open to allow me to get this one. This is what I love about geocaching. Getting to walk through beautiful bushland that I would never have been to if it wasn't for caching. The cache here is quite wet, I had to pop a micro logbook in a new bag as the old logbook was too wet to write on. This cache might need some love from CO, but thank you for getting me back out of the house and into this neck of the woods. TFTC bunny bashers
A quick find after finding 'Pipehead Camelias' and driving in along Scarp Rd. Unfortunately the cache had some water in it and everything inside was quite wet. I managed to sign the log, but it is very wet - unfortunately I had no spare on me and little time to wait while everything dried out. The water was tipped out but little more. Thanks to bunny bashers for the cache.
Went searching with me daughter. Found it but wasn't in black bag and plastic container was cracked resulting in everything being saturated.
Headed out on a bit of an adventure with my family (jasenjanine) & found a few caches along the way... This was one of them! Thanks bunny bashers [^]
Out for a bit of a drive today with the kids with no idea where we are headed to After finding ourselves at the Serpentine Dam for lunch, we continued along in the direction of Jarrahdale... Of course with a few diversions along the way We parked roadside at the closest possible spot & made our way up the hill... After a decent amount of searching the cache was eventually located by Jase!
TFTC bunny bashers As previously mentioned the cache is deteriorating & needs to be replaced. The holey bag covering the cache was sopping wet & more of a hinderance than a help, so we took that with us.

The bag containing the cache is perishing and will soon begin to disintegrate. The container is also perishing and is no longer water-proof - the log was damp but serviceable. Sorry I didn't have a suitable replacement container with me.
On a caching run in the Serpentine Jarrahdale area today, in which I found 7 and hid 2, this was the fourth find of the day. Quick find after overshooting at first and going to the wrong log. Nice little spot here amongst the rocks.
Signed the log. Thanks for the hide bunny bashers.
I'm going to log a "Needs Maintenance" log as there are issues with the cache.

On a drive across from Serpentine to Jarrahdale I came across two caches in the middle of know where. Short walk up a gentle hill and found after a short search.
Thanks bunny bashers for the cache.
Thanks bunny bashers for the cache.
Easy find, good bush walk. Had trouble getting pen to work so bring your own. Also wet inside container.
Made the walk to gz with Jacobscrew. A quick find but the container requires attention - its moist and musty.
After a full day Geocaching with Richlink and Iluvtrekking, here are the last couple for the day which have turned out to be challenging.
Out with geohubby today to put smiley faces on some green boxes in the Jarrahdale area.
Made a quick find here and thankful that I didn't have to be a rock wallaby. The container had a bout 1/2in of water at the bottom of it, tipped it out and tried to dry best we could but you may want to either change the container or put in a better plastic bag as this one is quite deteriorated. Log book was ok though.

Thought I would grab a couple of caches that I have missed ....Glad to see the cache survived after the burn off .....TFTC.
After our FTF at Armchair Rock we continued down Scriviner Rd to Scrapered Off, Wash this Space and Pipehead Camelias and then drove out via Jarrahdale. The road was a bit rutted in places but we careful navigated the small hire car through it.
We parked about 40m away from Scrapered Off just near the Bridge and headed up. The co-ords had us near a number but not exactly on a grass tree as the hint suggested. Lots of looking but no cache even though one spot looked like it once had a cache so we went through the logs. For future finders ignore the hints and trust the co-ords and you will see the camo and the hind. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TN LN TFTC
Wash This Space was next. We parked on the side of the road and made the short light bush bash up to the GZ zone. A quick search and we hand the cache in hand and completed signing the log. TN LN TFTC
Going to Pipehead Camelias we had to spot short due to a gate 500m out. We doubled back and got onto the track next to the pipeline but found another gate 400m out so it was off on foot we went. There are a number of works still occurring but we got to GZ with a few contractors around. Once they where out of site a check of the obvious spots turned up nothing and then we expanded a little and found it quickly. We signed the log and replaced. TFTC
The road out to Jarrahdale was better than the road in.

We found it, but in doing so had an epic adventure, one we would rather forget. Great location though. No doubt I will travel back this way one day. TNLN. Thanks bunny bashers
From a nearby cache we walked the pipe before veering into the bush. The dew on the spiderwebs gave the place a magical impression. Cache is in good nick. Made a swap. TFTC.

A quick find once at GZ. Cache container is damaged and there was a bit of moisture in the cache. We wiped most of it out but with the damage it will return.

A Saturday caching run in the Serpentine/Pinjarrahills/Karnup area with the GeoDaughter and BF in tow, young eyes are always useful. After doing Sparpered Off, we decided to walk to this cache. After a short walk we found the cache. An added bonus we found an imperial sized spanner on the gravel track. SL TFTC
A nice easy find. The only hard part was crossing the Max 2 Tonne bridge from the previous cache. TFTC
Getting a bit late in the day, the sun is getting low! An interesting area, no swaps. TFTH
After driving out this way a few weeks ago to do this last green box in a sea of smiles... only to discover for whatever reason my pocket query
decided this cache did not make the grade, this time it was checked prior to departing Perth.
A quick search had the cache in hand and the log book stamped, we sat and caught our breath after the short walk up the hill, we really
need to get out more hehe
TFTC, we loved the area.

We had tried to find this one in the summer, but couldn't get close and were a bit worried about snakes.
Drove to within about 80m and then a short climb through the bush for a quick find. TFTC, SL. Took coin.

Easy to find the cache. Not so easy to find a good parking spot. I think I was blocking part of the road. Luckily it doesn't get much use.
WanderingAus wandered by, following wellstrand tribe and LinkenAxe, so that I could drop
Nightwolf GC.

Found this cache with LinkenAxe and WanderingAus. Nice climb - never know this place existed. Removed permantly a cigarette lighter - not really appropiate. Took Carabena and left water pistol. TFTH
wow great place, thanks for bringing us here. Had fun hunting around the rocks and logs for this one ... ended up finding it 6 metres from our GZ. Left Moto Moto, took shark. TFTH SL
We continued past the road closed signs to the barrier and then went by foot the short distance to the cache. We found the cache after a search around. TNLN. thanks bunny bashers
Surprised to find the gate closed - after read the logs, it seems to be closed definitely - let's hope it doesn't. Enjoyed walking to GZ. Made a quick easy find. Thanks for bringing me to the beautiful bushland with rockies, and the cache.
Road was closed so came in from the east, which was not too far but quite adventureous. Love those type of walks anyway, took Blazing Sun Geocoin, Left Zippo Lighter & Singapore Dollar. TFTH TFTC SL
What a great little scramble up those rocks. Our smallest cacher (OptimusCache) being part monkey had scampered up a fallen tree to a huge boulder before I could say boo. I think he climbed all the larger rocks as we searched and finally came up with the cache at a different fallen tree than the one we zeroed in on. The cache was a bit damp but the inside was still dry. El Cacholoco went through the cache and did the signing so I don't know if the coin was still in there.
There were a few fallen trees around. After some searching we got to the right one. With the road closed it made a great little hike.

After all the walking we've done this morning it was nice to park nearby and get to this easily. Dropped off the Positive Caching Pathtag. One corner of the container is broken and there is a small hole but so far contents are still dry. Thanks bunny bashers.
Not a quick find. Approach from the south via Day Rd is not allowed but two other vehicle based approaches are possible. Also "misread" the instructions...must be all the rocks that focused my attention on the wrong places. Swapped key rings, red for blue. Thanx
We could see where we needed to go but the gates were locked and other possible entries were DO NOT ENTER. Sadly we had to turn back.
Hmmm... This is only "beside Serpentine River and pipeline" in the sense that Perth is "beside" Mandurah on a map... We were on foot. It seemed a long way between the cache and the pipe/river.
Nice area tho

Not too difficult for me, I spotted it quickly. The 'guardian' must have taken the hint and moved on as I didn't see him.

This cache was our third and last for the afternoon, and I was hoping for another FTF, but it was not to be, beaten by 24 hours. Still, second wasn't too bad.
This one was not so easy to find, but persistance paid off.
We found a guardian of this cache who wasn't too keen to see us. But we carefully did our thing without disturbing him too much.
Love the bridge.
