I have placed a new container at the final location. Didn't look like the CO was going to and thus is a great place for a multi. Will log my find when I get home.
I've been wanting to find this one for ages but it was still showing signs of no maintenance so I grabbed a container and put some paper into a snap lock bag and brought it along with me.
So everyone that has found the first stage and wants to sign the log can no go back to the final and sign it. I checked for the first stage while going past but no luck there sorry.

Found the WP and continued to GZ. Sure we were at the right place as it was just as described but unfortunately nothing to be found. A pity because we enjoyed this multi. Thanks anyway geotrove.
Found the first stage and the "perfect" location for the final, but no cache. Hard to see how it would be muggled, but looks like the final is gone.
Found the first stage with no trouble. Found the second area, the tree with post and the tree 14 paces away with a lone fern but no cache that I could find.
All we had was a coordinate for this one and the GPS was all over. I actually searched the location mentioned in the hint but obviously not as well as I should have. Oh well.
An enjoyable stroll around the redwoods. At stage 1 walked right past the GZ before eventually following the description properly and finding the correct place. Nice big cache at the final.

Bikerbuddy & I followed the track around the water, picking up all but one of the caches on the way. This was a great walk, in one of the most beautiful areas we visited this weekend.
The waypoint was a quick find. The final took us a bit longer, then bikerbuddy spotted the hide.
Great spot a multi, thanks for placing it here

We did this multi along with other caches on this walk in e morning before we had to head north for a visit to Hobbiton in the afternoon. This whole area was incredibly beautiful, especially the stand of trees in which this cache is found. Thankyou for encouraging us there. One of my favourite cache hunts in New Zealand during our weekend.
Took a little searching, but with the help of the clue & re-reading description we found with Ramjet57. Had a nice picnic at the table on the way. Tftc - love the size of it too!
We didn't know what to expect when we came here... Just saw an interesting constellations of caches on the map and gave it a try. This was a nice one on our way around the wells. Found it with katrinzaubersenf and schatzohneschatz. A new logbook would be a good choice to replace the three paper strips... Thank you for the cache!
Thanks geotrove for a fun multi. Stage 1 took us a wee while to find but we located it eventually. A good size container for the final. Thanks for bringing us here.

Found first one but don't have GPS so will have to look for second another time. ScubaShandy.
Mothers day spent at Hamurana for a picnic with loads of whanau. Managed to fit in a few sneaky caches. Enjoyed this one, little bummed I had to go back the way I came so missed out on getting a couple of others due to time constraints. TFTC though, clues helped heaps! Dropped of a TB
Really enjoyed visiting this area again. We looked for several minutes before finding Stage 1, should have read the hint! Both containers were dry and in good condition. Thanks for hiding this nice multi. Found with Girlpower14. Edited to visit TB.

The first location took quite a search enjoyed the walk along to GZ where the final was soon spotted TFTC
a beautiful hike through the forest indeed and we really liked it - on a summerday that made us grateful for the coolness in the woods. the cache itself is dry, but the logbook is wet. we found no trackables in here. sad, how many were muggled here - so please don't hide any further in this one. thank you!
Day 7 (and the final day) of the KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber Xmas Road Trip saw us drive from Whakatane to Auckland, with the aims of securing more caches towards our GIO Licence and making SandGropers event at Albert Park by 5pm.
A quick and simple 2 staged multi in a beautiful location.

This cache formed part of our return trip home with KiwifruitsNZ back to Auckland, from the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
A quick stroll back to the car, and we managed to grab this multi on the way. Such a lovely spot here, thanks for sharing!

Continuing our 6 week tour of New Zealand and sadly nearing the end, today we drove from Opotiki to Rotorua. Our second stop nearing Rotorua, we enjoyed the peaceful walk through the trees here and a few different cache types didn't hurt the fun either.
Took me a little while to find the first stage - went right by it. TFTC

Found this one together with SL_Wayne on our great holidays here in New Zealand.
Thanks for showing us this place and thank you for this nice Multicache!!
Thanks for showing us this place and thank you for this nice Multicache!!
It's good to get a variety of cache types on a series such as this. WP and final cache both in good condition.
Due to the large amount of caches in this small area, I ended up walking thru the redwood grove three times trying to get all of `em. Not that I`m complaining. Gorgeous spot and some amazing stuff to look at. TFTC
Loved this one!! Loved everything about this area, the trees are amazing!! Dropped off TB, TFTC!!!
Found the waypoint with no problem but decided to continue on around the loop back to the car and then head off again where we had been earlier to find the final - tftc
Found stage 1 this am but ran out of time to look for the final so back we came after the tough guy and gal challenge for this & a few more caches. Nice walk to the final & HKCB dove in for a quick find, TFTC
Couldn't find the first waypoint last year but no problem this time. Alaways enjoy this walk through the redwoods to see the amazing clear springwater.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Heading down to compete in the "Rotorua Tough Guy and Gal Challenge" with some fellow Geocachers, and thought we'd better make a day of it and find some geocaches as well.
Found the first WP this morning, and as we ran out of time and had to get to the event we headed back here to finish it off before heading home. Thanks for the multi!

Found originally as part of Rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
We had stopped nearby for lunch, and was now collecting a few nearby caches. I took the long way to find WP1, but Rebel98 spotted the final, so I guess it was teamwork! Thanks for the hide, a stunning day for a walk amongst the trees.

Continuing our journey around the walkway, and so far being successful with our finds, Think cache container at waypoint 1 may have other purposes, which to us townies made us laugh. Its a beautiful winters day and we are enjoying exploring areas we have not been too before. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
At last my kind of multi - just find the co-ords and then the cache - no maths or trying to read clue to be gathered off my small GPS screen. About a minute after finding first way point my batteries went flat will return to finish one day soon.
Found stage one of this one with no trouble but no luck with stage two. Will have to go back another time.
What a nice place to bring us to. Even on easter Saturday a tranquil place with beautiful trees, shrubs, springs and rivers. Thus was a place we would otherwise have never been to and thanks to the various cache owners we did and we are glad!
Thanks for the caches!

Since at the beginning of the round we didnĀ“t hit the correct entrance we had to finish this multi at the end by taking one more walk at the river. But the landscape is so beautiful there that this was even a prize we won WP 1 and the final caused no problems. TFTC (#9617)
Enthralled by the spring water and redwoods, and the caches in the area. I found the first WP OK then a walk back to the final was worth doing again for the scenery. Lovely. TFTC geotrove.
With a little gps trouble, gut instinct took over to find the first in this multi-cache. Neat find, thanks!
While visiting the Springs, we did this little multi for sure. We needed more time to find the test tube at stage one, than at the final. Very nice place, isn't it. Thx.
Heading to Mother-in-laws in Murupara for Christmas. Had managed to convince muggle Hubby to stop for me to do a few caches around here, after visiting Whanau in Awahou.
What a lovely spot. Had picnic lunch between wpnt and Final. TFTC

I searched and searched for WP1 until I was just about ready to give up when there it was. So it was off to the final and going by the geocaching highway a lot of cachers have searched in the wrong area. All I can say is trust your GPSr.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
[green] On the way back from the Auckland Mega and have stopped into Rotorua to visit the family for a few days. Decided to spend a bit of today on a cycle out to Hamurana. I turned up at the final and found a young Asian lass wanting a photo taken of her and one of the big redwoods. No worries. Then I introduced her to geocaching and we went looking fo rthis one together. Found it, and she was quite amazed withthe hidden treasure (although there was no treasure in it ).Then we split apart - she went her way on to the spring, and I went off after another cache.
It was a Beautiful walk to log this one and we where lucky to choose the right direction for the walk. The first step was easy to find while the final box took a Little longer. At last we found it by help of the hint.
Greetings from Sweden

Together with Busther we are on a visit in New Zeeland where we have attended the Auckland MEGA and now are doing some turisting and some geocaching.
Arrived to Roturoa yesterday evening and was now looking for some sightseeing in the area. We took our golden rental car around the Roturoa lake and stayed at intresting places.
This was really wonderful area to stroll around in with the reedwood trees and the amazing river with its clear water and the fishes.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden.

Looking under the bottom compartment of my back pack I found a hand stamped tag, but no King 'Kong' Kache miniature. Will belatedly (10/12/13) pick it up.
1020 On my way through to have a go at a FTF, some 2,200 km from home, I stopped off to check this one out. The coordinates seemed a little out, but by using the hint I was able to find it. A touch moist, but intact. Discovered only one trackable - KING KACHE in there, and am not sure, but think I left that there.

WP1 was a nice easy find with the help of the clue - the actual cache proved a bit trickier!! The GPS kept bouncing us around the place and there were quite a few places that fitted the clue. We even looked around GZ once and discarded it as the hiding place, only to come back to it as the most likely spot and eventually finding the very well hidden cache. Enjoyed this walk very much, the crystal clear water and the redwoods definitely make this spot well worth a visit. TFTC!
Been trying to catch up on way old caches for ages. TFTC's everyone your cache hides are certainly appreciated and Happy Caching to you ALL!!

GrimRaider and I visited Hamurana Springs today and were blown away by the beauty of this place. Not only that but a variety of different caches to collect including this lovely multi. We had a spot of trouble with WP1 as the trees had the gps bouncing all over the place - if we had only read the clue properly we would have saved us some time. We soon had the cache in hand and picked up a lovely little orange car TB. So G decided this would be a great place to drop one of the TBs he had made up for NZ. Thanks a lot for the cache - lots of fun
The wonders of New Zealand just keep on coming. I have never in my life seen such clear clean water. The trees, the trout, the birds and the sounds were all amazing. Thanks for giving KittyKatch and I another good reason to visit this beautiful spot. A favourite point from me and the starting point for one of my travel bugs. Thank you for this cache geotrove!
Cheers,
GrimRaider.

NO LOGBOOK TO SIGN..... Have done this one in the past but love the walk so much & it's such a good cache for dropping trackables & swaps... brought BarkingmadNZ with us this time...
found with Rhodzrunner a week or so back, no log book though - I believe it has already been replaced before me logging this. Great walk here, recommended to all.
Had some trouble finding WP1 as there were lots of people around and we were looking for the wrong sized container. On the 4th look we found it. Then backtracked to find the final. More muggles who have all been planting trees today. Found final near a group of muggles who had already passed us. I wonder if they noticed that we passing them again.
I have logged this cache as part of 12-12-12: A Challenge? http://coord.info/GC42CNY

We visited the Hamurana springs this morning, it was our first visit here and we thoroughly enjoyed the scenery here! We completed this multi while we were here - found WP1 after a short search and made an easy find of the final - a great hiding spot! A nice multi, TFTC!

Found on way home from work. WPT1 took a while to find I was looking on the wrong side to start with but I didn't get stumped it is definitely still there, the final was a lot easier.

A nice quick multi this was and being onholidays from Australia and whilst touring, we took the opportunity to log a few caches, loved the Red Woods, SL, TNLN, TFTC
Must be blind. Went around the stump a couple of times but could find the first waypoint.
We love walking around this area. The clear water and beautiful trees are wonderful and the added bonus of a hidden multi definitely adds to the enjoyment. Thanks.
What impressive trees these are. Really liked that walk around that piece of earth.

It was rather tricky finding the right exemplar mentioned in the hint. After all, there were more than one around the place. But finally, there it was! TFTC.

Nice quick multi cache. The springs are really nice. And the place with the redwoods is brilliant.

Back today for a second visit and located WP easily, dont know how we missed it in late November. Cache duely signed. An excellent little multi. TFTC
High Muggle area on the day we searched! Just looked up and admired all the tree tops to fool them. But you can't fool Miss Eights beady eyes and before long she was choosing her reward, a shiny one dollar coin!!
Hey, woof... JC Cache Dawg here...

Enjoyed the walk among the giant redwoods but disappointed we could not locate the WP after giving it a good old search. (May need checked?)
Nice stroll with sonia26642, tunfisk, ad GenCuster on an amazing sunny day. Determination at WP paid off and managed to complete while enjoying the beautiful area - now a fav of mine, Hinemoana might come and hide away here now too
Found with Hinemoana and sonia26642 and GenCuster on a caching trip to Rotorua.
