Gathered a big plastic bag of garbage, but no sign of the cache, though we knew exactly what we were looking for. Maybe next time.
Amazing !!!!!!!!!! - when TT got home he had a sudden "spark" of inspiration regarding this cache. Sure enough TT was right and can now log this one.
Hope the existing CITO photo will hold.

Boosted on by recent TWS successes it was out for a Wonder day and a shore tidy up.
On a roll from the last CITO cache GC1D73J yesterday it was off with a light heart and a can do attitude.
Searched and searched. Hid from the Muggles and searched some more.
There was plenty of rubbish again and this was collected first as instructed.
More searching and then dispair - nothing.
Rather than go home empty handed TT got the sacks out of the car (for collecting firewood in the forest when Orienteering) and gathered 2 sacks of firewood and pine cones. The cones are great for starters.

Have spent a few days looking for Frodo I think he may have left for Mordor so I am going to do what I am best at.... fail yet another cache! Oh hello are you getting fatigued? “Vacation, Vacation, Vacation†(GC1DWAA) Now I thought the last cache was made for me but this one is perfect just like me and caching it is a truly rubbish cache. I think I can get a badge for this one. Disaster! Arrived the day after the council had cleared the site, not a piece of trash to be found anywhere I am beginning to get a caching complex. Yes I know you only want a number from me well what about the number of the nearest major highway to the cache. Thanks to the Wonderstuff for the imposition. Rumour is the professor has been seen in town, so I’m off to take a flyer at the airport.

+/- 6m in this area - well........... Searched for a bit but lots of yucky stuff about so gave up. Maybe another plot to get cachers to clean up!!!! Need gloves.
Couldn't see anything that looked likely. Not a nice area to search either, lots of rubbish, empty beer bottles and used nappies...

Work is paying for the petrol this weekend, so why not have another go.
Had a really long search grid fashion but still can't see the wood. Only had the initial clue, but the updated one wouldn't have helped, if it moved I looked at it, if it didn't move I made sure it didn't.
Eventually had to call it a day when the carpark got to busy.

4.34pm. Not sure what all the fuss is about [?] Came, saw, conquered......took us all of 15 minutes.

Another 45mins spent here mid afternoon! But I still can't see the Wood for the Trees!!
- Got up close and personal with most of the vegetation in the area!!
Or maybee I did find it, but just did'nt SEE it - who knows!!??
Sitting back and waiting for someone else to find it first!!

Came past here this afternoon, and spent 30mins around GZ looking at all sorts of things - there's lots of trees there!! But had to give up eventually! 
"pre-find reconnaissance" I like that, but after our pre-find reconnaissance we still didn't find it and aren't ashamed to log as such.
Gave it 30 minutes, but lunch was calling.

Swung by at 1:30pm but GZ was occupied by muggles. Went away and did a few other caches planning to have another go on the way home but ran out of time.
Hey, it's only a DNF if you admit to it..... I prefer to think of it more as pre-find reconnaissance
