well, i didnt make it out here in the school holidays to repair this one, alas. However, I will do my best to not leave it too long. I'm renewing my commitment to maintaining these caches. I'll put a plan of attack together and get through them in the next 4 weeks. (I hope) Watch this space....!

I'll try to get out to this one in the next month or so and see what repairs are needed.
I was in the area so I thought I would check this one out. However I didn't go out on a limb for this one as it was raining and very slimy and dangerous underfoot. Plus I was alone, it was dark and there have been DNFs. Is the cache still there? I want to know this before I bother returning.
Like I said in log entry - found it dangling like a fish out of water ... Inner container has no lid, did not notice any weight to lose, and seal on outer container looks a bit perished ... Is probably sort of ok, left a bit high and dry like I found it ... But might be an idea 2 check/fix it sometime? (Just in case Muggles start actually noticing stuff
I decided to go Fore a walk after work, and headed off in a direction I was shore I would find a cache, or 3 ... At first I thought it was just a sometimes soggy boggy area, then I found the pretty little pond ... iPhone app was a little undecided as to exactly where GZ was ... So I figured it out B4 my phone did - saw a likely looking spot and spotted the cache looking a bit like a fish out of water ... did some untangling of the dangling and found out why it was out ... Not a lot of "everything" to seal up - seal looks a bit dead on outer bit and is no lid on inner ... was damp inside, but dry enough to sign the log ... Didn't see any weight to lose (wish I had that problem with me ... Found a place to tuck it mostly out of sight (just follow the line 2 find it) and not dunk it in the drink like I am sure it was originally meant to be ...
A few TBs came visiting, bit otherwise TNLN ...
TFTC ... Good excuse to poke around in yet another odd little place I had not been to BeFore!

Tried looking around but couldn't find it, and didn't want to go into the pond. Maybe recent rain covered the cache in water? I can't be sure.
This is a cheeky one. Had to get wet to get there today, maybe owing to the recent rain. If the cache was ever waterproof, it's not so any more - very soggy log.
After doing UniFore!m of invisibility nearby, I just could not resist attempting this one - less than 200 Metres from the geomobile. I had done a couple of the caches in the area before, but thought this might be a tricky one.
Had no problem finding the container
Thanks Fore! the Cache.

Yet another fun and adventurous cache. Loved this one with the geokid doing the hard yards. Log slightly damp but otherwise all good. Thanks for keeping us entertained.
#399 We wanted to choose a couple caches that were a little more adventuresome as we reach our 400 milestone. This did not disappoint! No feathery muggles nearby, or 2 legged one for that matter. TFTC!
Grabbed this one today on the way home from work. A nice little foreshore, that I never new existed. Met a family of ducks on the way to gz, located and made my way out to the cache.
I don't know how but there was water in the outer container and the lid is missing from the inner container resulting in he log being a little damp. Signed the log and replaced the cache. Now off to clean the duck poo off my work shoes!

From the description we thought we might into a little bit of trouble with this one as we forgot a towel and tweezers, but luckily enough we were still able to get our hands on the cache.
The log was a little wet, but other than that great hide and neat idea. TFTC.

got a great Butt shot of my geosister on this one!!! dont fall!! then again it could be good entertainment...yep good sence of balance and humor go hand in hand with this one
Third time lucky for this one. After my appointment today, I went to have a look and found the water level was down (far too high the last two times!). Managed to get out there without getting wet, and avoiding the "obstacles" left by the ducks! Cache easy to spot as it was swinging. Balanced and signed (writing probably a bit shaky!) and then returned as found just before the rain started.
Good to finally get this one off the list. Thanks Fore!

Cache has been cleaned, dried, new log etc. and now replaced - happy geocaching.
Sunday 8 April - Happy Easter! Having visited this location 3 times before the fishing log is finally accessible ie: we didn't need a boat to gain access to the cache. The water level has dropped by approx 1.5 metres thereby exposing more of the fishing log making it safe to walk upon once more. Unfortunately I found the cache floating unattached in the water. I've taken it home to make repairs and will write a note when it's back in place.

Inner container lid is broken from over tightening and the attachment was not attached. Log was soaked and unsignable. Needs some urgent TLC or it maybe extremely difficult to locate!
199. Found it, both containers were full of water and log was soaked so no attempt was made to sign it. Loved the concept. TFTC.
After finishing another Fore! task, we thought we'd try this one while in the area. Unfortunately no success. The ground was very wet, and perhaps the water level is too high?....a lovely thing to be able to say in Canberra, none-the-less.
We'll be back again at a later date,
Thanks Domsky

Two of us looked and looked at GZ. The pond water overflowing after yesterday's heavy rain and my guess is that it may be underwater or we are blind We found many large deceased Yabbies at GZ but no cache sooooo off to find the next cache. We will be back after someone else finds it. thx L, thx Fore!
Had a look last night during a caching night. Don't think it was an ideal time to go. The pond was clearly a lot higher than it normally is, couldn't get to where the cache was meant to be.
Decided to go out caching after it warmed up after the coldest start to a summers day in about a million years!! We parked in the carpark just down the road and made our way to the pond. As we approached GZ Deb's keen eye spotted the nicely placed cache so she went and retrieved it. The log was very wet due to the lid on the inner tube being cracked. We dried out the log as best as we could in the breeze, then signed it. TNLNSL TFTC
A lovely final weekend of vacation spent caching around home (Canberra). Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
The log was too wet to extract safely from the container as the lid is broken however we have pics of it in hand.
BatGirlandCo did the risky stuff after I spotted it. Elvis whined piteously lest flocks of vampire ducks attacked.
Luckily for everyone involved, they didn't.
They did glare in our direction as they left when we approached though. I thought bombing runs might be on the cards, but distance was the only thing they sought..

After a little scouting on the shore ArcherACT shouted out "I see it!" Hmmm..... that's a bit trickier than I was expecting. So we stood on the bank and pondered our possibilities. In the end I de-shoed and made the retrieval. However the lid in the inner container is broken and does not seal so the log is sodden and could not be retrieved safely from the container.
Hadn't actually intended to visit here on a Christmas eve MTB run through the area, but I found myself riding past, so why not? An excellent cache and thanks for the warnings. Could be tricky immediately following rain. Loved the challenge Fore!. Log sheet was too wet to extract or sign. The container was delightfully decorated by local residents too. I've washed my hands now...
Geared up for a second attempt and gmorph bravely went out to retrieve. TFTC.

Out on a caching day with Bug Mumford, we decided to tackle this one (pun intended) before heading to the local school fete. Which meant L had to be bravest while R & Bug encouraged the grab. The paper log was wet and the inner container lid appears to be cracked. Dried a little but the inner container needs some attention and as such we left it high & dry. Again, very creative. TFTC
Another find with Jaralah3. L was brave and went out to grab it, while me and R stood on the bank calling out encouragement! TFTC
returning to the scene of TienHeu former shame, and for a few moments it looked like chanlord and I was going to join this condition.
But I chimmed up and volunteered to venture out and search the area, and after some tense moments I spotted the little blighter, phew that made the excursion all worthwhile, sadily the log is a bit water logged but did my best to put our mark on the logbook, but I think the cache container is leaking a bit, despite being double protected.
But a great hide and probably at this stage I thing worth another 1/2 star difficulty. *recommended*

Back again after a DNF or two a couple of years ago. Glad to have some extra eyes - chanlord and mtrax. Nice to tick this one off the list.
We didn't search hard enough because we wanted to find a few more caches before going back to our caravan park but we will be back again later.
No idea that we had another lake? around here. Interesting spot and a bit of care needed to avoid a dunking. Log was somewhat damp and difficult to write on. TFTC
#1638 This was the last for the day as the dark of the night and the cold night air where starting to defeat us. So with torches deployed we strolled around to GZ without incident and Dad made the retrieval. TNLN our thanks again Fore! for the cache, now back to the Caravan Park for a hot cup of tea
I have stopped here more than once before as this cache always seems to come up when going through this area.
I got to GZ again today and was determined to not walk away empty handed. I contemplated then took the plunge and went out on the limb to find the cache pretty quickly.
Logbook signed and I was soon away (after finding a nice pre-made bit of stump that will make a great cache. Thanks!

Third attempt has this in hand within minutes! All things just at the right level.
Inner container does have a cracked lid, logbook just a little dampish, however sign-able.
Thanks 4 4 this one.

Thankyou for this excellent Cache Fore!

Very cool, the geoson loved going out!!! The inner container lid is cracked around the top and the log is damp but usable. Not enough sun to dry it now though. Loved it, thanks Fore!
Thankfully I had assistance with this retrieval! We'd also taken the rough route to this one from the last cache
Looks like the lid of inner tube it cracked and log is damp!

Found after a little balancing. Log was soaked. May require to be re-set with a new log.
It was well and truly dark as we decided to take this cache on. After reading the description we were a little worried lol. Torches in hand we headed towards this hidden body of water. We zeroed on GZ and with Miss Stormcatchers record of being able to quickly find some of the more tricky caches she found this one after a couple of minutes. We were both very impressed with this cache, great concept and had to reward it one of our Favorite points . We managed to stay dry and relatively mud free so that was a bonus. Off to civic for dinner and more caches TFTC
Clever idea for a cache, the water levels seem to be back in favour of this cache

Very inventive, though it took us a while because the cache was sitting in a somewhat counter intuitive location. Everything inside was in good condition though and we had no problems retrieving it in the end. TFTC.
Well after going out on a limb, we were not able to get ourselves into a knot! Until suddenly there it was! Awesome hide - TFTC.
Had a bit of a look, and think I know where it is, but I think the water level is up after yesterday's rain. I also ran out of time. Will come back later.
First to find the reactivated cache an my first find for the new year. That must be worth something. Thanks for getting this one going again. TFTC
Checked this one with the CMT (Cache Maintenance Team aka Shadow! and allrounder) only to find it MIA.
Sorry for any DNFs but the cache has now been replaced. Come and get it!!

Love it! Forgot pen again but found it and thought it was a brilliant idea for a hide.
Found what looked like the spot on tree mentioned in the clue but to no avail. Is it still there?
Call this a lake? Do you fish here often.... what could you possibly catch here, other than a cache bug!?
The cache took a while to find. I have to admit that I did try some climbing on the gym before I spotted the hint. Al least I did not get a soaking.
Plenty of clue sthat help or hinder depending on how you look at it. Think like a cache hider - then try to think like Fore! haha.
Lovely cache and I hope to find more of yours soon.

Obviously not damaged from the recent rains. Found just on dusk, might have been a little more of a challenge if any darker. TFTC
Woop woop! Found by puddle senior. Puddle teen joined me on this one.. I feel for the previous cacher as we were out and about around the previous time and we couldn't find a similar cache for the same reason. Love that kind of weather though; bring it on!!
Anyway TFTC. Visited SAD FACE geocoin.

It rained, for sure. I was there for sure but couldn't retrieve it. An expanded shore was not the only problem. To fix I would have needed togs and more than a hand towel.
Didn't have a towel, so had to use my hands... the result was very...organic and more than a little pungent [xx(]

Tried to use the clue to find it, but this was no help at all. Finally found it accidentally, then realised the significance of the clue. A very cleverly hidden cache. Third out of 3 Fore! caches in a row, all clever and neatly engineered - congratulations, Fore!! TFTC, cheers, aussieangel.
Found at 17:30 with frogdude.
I elected to retrieve his one - quite an achievement for one who doesn't like to get (potentially) wet. But I managed to stay dry, as did the cache.
Thanks Fore!

Threw our line in one more time. Found with Steveski74 during our Dusk to Dawn caching run! 21 of 21.
After a long night of caching our minds and legs quite tired, reluctantly we decided to call it quits and head home as the sun was rising!

A great fun find by 10 y.o. after a bit of a look around. he just loves going out on a limb and couldn't care about getting wet, whereas I prefer the dry land generally. I guess that's why we always go caching together - the young fella's more adventurous.
